the other thing that's happening now is the the smoke again from the Canadian fires is that what we're blaming it on yeah no it's coming again it's coming again this way this week looks horrible I feel bad if you've picked this week for your vacation I thought uh my husband's uncle was going to be coming this week and I was like oh this is a bad week and then I talked to my mother-in-law last right and then it's not wrong sauntered along and that was that that was that so it could have been a bad start to the day we were in Maine over the weekend and uh we did uh first that for a starter oh yeah that's right well we were antiquing in Maine she got herself this fox stole yes I saw that some someone has to grow up to be a taxidermist right right there's an art to it sure just like someone has to grow up and be an embalmer I mean it just has this but this seemed to be the theme of my weekend so it started off in Maine while we were seated next to this Hunter guy who by the way is coming to the cape to striper fish later on in the month we'll get to that point so we you know we're just talking about all these things and then I find myself DJing a family reunion on Sunday at the Rod and Gun Club speaking of guns yeah where it's full of Taxidermy up in there really cute bar by the way so I'm in there you know we're DJing big family reunion very fun good group of people uh there are little kids running around and I say I try to figure out what they're running around you know whisking at each other and it's that little waddle thing that's on the turkey that like broom thing and then the mother is like did you take that off a Taxidermy but the guys at the bar were so funny about it they're like no it's that thing on the turkey he's got one of them them up here on the wall somewhere I'll show you and we're just happy to have these others lying around that you can oh I look like a little whisk broom so we could have had some dinner and a whisk broom in here today we could ask for anything more damn it Hank you should have just drove through I just showed him what the heck really could have taken though funny and doesn't want to make a move then you taught that great because this is where they can be used so yeah for whatever reason this has been the theme of my weekend so here we are already Tuesday yep and uh shark population they was released what four days ago or so that it is now we are considered the most amount of white sharks in the world yeah are here I've been watching when sharks attacked well it's the season oh National Geographic yeah they're gearing up towards Shark Week right oh yeah shark months what has to outdo it's like Nat Geo and then the other one one's got shark week and then the other one's got shark month and now it's just shark stuff all summer long yeah Greg scomel you made this happen thanks a lot right and they and they you know they analyze why the shark attacked in this situation or that situation and in the end they really don't know yeah you know they have some they have some ideas there's food here you know maybe you know they're hungry or maybe they just go through giving birth and they're hungry or or it all seems to come down to they're hungry somehow well there was a story yesterday or was it the day before that so picture this you're on your family vacation okay you've come to the cape you've spent a million dollars to be here you're enjoying your trip out to sea and you're catching some striped bass because apparently that's what's like hot right now everybody's catching them left and right there are videos of people just um Shore casting and Orleans pulling them left right so you're out there you got a striped bass on the line you're reeling it in and all of a sudden a great white jumps out of the water and eats your fish that's on the line oh wow this is what a family of four was treated to over I think over the weekend while they were having their little fishing trip here well that's the vacation memory well I feel bad for the striped bass you sucked both ways like you were just gonna get eaten regardless so yeah watch out for the there are sharks in the ocean everybody this is my daily PSA I say it on the radio on lemonadio.com and we go on I every single day during the summer I remind people that that's where they live it's in the ocean is seaweed as well by the way yeah in case you didn't notice the seaweed as well well it's supposedly good good for you there is a group of younger females in Falmouth that just trademarked their usage of algae and seaweed for cosmetic companies and they're about to change the way we make makeup really I thought it was super cool because it's sustainable it's better for your body and skin completely and we're getting rid of peafas and Plastics right so I was like wow good for them why has no one done this before yeah a couple of young ladies probably watching their Kendall and Kylie face right tutorials why is that the only thing that's on social media now I'm getting Dumber in fact I the amount of shellac and crap people put on their face for our hours I've never spent hours putting on that amount of makeup in my entire life they're telling stories they're telling my son was like Mom why don't you do you know when you do your little stories you could do it while you're putting on makeup this was my Tick Tock uh I asked for a tutorial on how to do things better and that was it huh I'm like never in the my entire life if I put on makeup that took that long ever I've never been put on makeup at all so well there you're missing out Hank apparently we're missing out we could be doing makeup tutorials and looking like a clown a bearded clown that my scare people actually 1.98 beauty pageant at trivia that's just Grandma reminded me because I felt really bad this this older woman coming into the bar and I was like oh is it too loud over there and Cliff went and made sure she was okay and she's like no bring it I was very excited about how old it was older I want to say over 80. I want to say like like had to have her hand held to get into a seat yeah I I would venture upwards of 90 but you never know no you watched she was like 65. I'm kidding she was definitely older than that but she her response bring it and then she ordered a whiskey I was like I could get down with this lady here you go this is how she is I'm a fan that's that's how she's 80 something she listens to loud music and she has a shot I loved it absolutely everything about it there was a study recently that I read that it was about gray matter so the more gray matter that you had at whatever age they're calling him super seniors so if you're over 80 with a certain I was like how do you test gray matter I don't know do I have to get an MRI to test gray matter where are scientists in the field probably not watching us speaking of speaking of gray matter there are more uh cases of dementia on the East Coast than there are anywhere else and the number one place for dementia in the country is Miami-Dade County in Florida I knew it I was like it has to be Florida and that explains a lot but that they're all demented in Florida right oh wait just Miami-Dade and and and Baltimore and those and there's one other place but the thing that jumped out at me was yeah right that's Florida that explains why they do some of the things they do in Florida because they're out of their mind already well it's a big retirement community everyone from New England goes to retire in Florida for whatever reason so maybe all the dementia would be in New England renting I think that that seems to be the case all the way around for absolutely everyone right now yeah finding a rental yeah there's not there's not a lot there's not a lot out there everybody has dreams of getting their income paid by maybe that's why no one's working they bought a second place they're renting it out and they're on Etsy selling their crafts right I don't know what's happening there's got to be a correction though at some point right right I mean a lot of people did strike out on their own look at you you struck out on your own I had I mean you didn't strike strikeouts we're gonna miss you you you no I'm done I broke the mold you broke of that yeah yeah you know you just didn't didn't go back to a regular nine to five anymore and and the Babe has his own business yeah on the side and he's not a nine to five guy either now and I think more people started to do that yeah yeah I guess you're not working because I mean that's that's no I don't think people will work well we're still looking and our poor Jay ones I think they just got a third job I've never seen that much I see them in the um Dunkin Donuts the time forgot to say they weren't there they might be over at the gas station get more hours oh all right who knows there were only two people there were only two people at the Dunkin Donuts that I forgot this morning and were they my old Jay ones no I had hadn't seen either one of them oh maybe they all had the day off or maybe they microwave too many donuts I don't know I don't know that's awesome yeah I Mark unfortunately that seems to be the thing where we're losing our rentals to people selling the homes we had a huge problem with that before the season started here in Mashpee Falmouth area where seasonal homes that have been traditionally rented for 20 30 years people that have lived here in the same rental lost their homes and had no other place to go because the people that own the house were done owning the house right they're like we're just the Market's good right now I'm gonna sell it yep and the other thing that happened was if they didn't sell it they sometimes decided you know what I'm not going to use it this year and I'm going to charge some crazy stupid rent people were willing to pay in the middle of the pandemic and what happened was people aren't playing the crazy stupid rent yeah so that's why when you hear statistics that you know the vacancy rate uh for you know summer vacation places on Cape Cod is higher than usual it's because there's too many in the market and the asking price is too much and people can go elsewhere and we're not speaking out of turn here this is our resident real estate expert here he's an expert in senior real estate also senior real yes I am today real estate Hank yeah because everyone's worried about where am I gonna go what are they worried about Hank where where I love that the thing is this folks it's my internal voice too think back five or six years you never knew where you were gonna go when you put your house on the market you sold it first and then you found a place to go yeah you had an idea you were looking at a neighborhood maybe you put it in an offer maybe it was contingent on the sale of your home but that meant that the person who's home you were buying it was this whole deck of cards and all of a sudden well what's the rubric now like what's the rules I don't even know because you know we're thinking about this house is way too big for us now right I'm filling it with j-1's for crying out loud my 20-somethings have left the nest I've got one that came back for a little bit but she's about to leave the nest again it's always we don't need this much house for my current family's number yeah we're we're kind of we love the area I mean you gotta you get the pun right across the world exactly it's a good space breakfast again this morning although some idiot was going back and forth in the pond in his cigarette boatly they got moment I don't normally use my son's bathroom I it's usually a Hazmat situation uh teenage boys and I never know what I'm gonna find in there and it's just that's a whole nother story we'll get to your bathroom Renault in just a minute I'm gonna tie this all in with our dick population okay I'm waiting I'm just telling you when you're going for walks or you're doing anything with nature make sure you double and triple check the fact that you don't have any ride-alongs with you because I was here using my son's shower and I'm just you know doing my thing I look over at the towel that he had thrown over on the shower and there was just a tick just crawling around I was on the towel on the towel that he had used yes I mean the towel was dry so I don't know how long that freaking tick had been there or where the hell it came from but yeah they'll they'll they'll hang on until they find their thing so watch out for them I don't know whether my cat brought it in and all of a sudden it found its way up this towel or how the hell it was a football camp yesterday so God knows yeah well exactly so double and triple check everyone for ticks and your animals and all the stuff that just wrote in with you and your bikes your helmets any other weird stuff that you might have on you freaked me the hell out anyway you've got a bathroom Reno going on and there's nothing like a fight with your spouse other than renovating something together how is that going it's going very well because I I fully acknowledge I don't know anything I don't understand I just say okay yeah that looks great if you think it looks great yeah you're not the handy guy you're not I'm I'll fix that myself guy no no no no no no no no I missed that Gene my youngest brother is is one of those kinds of people I I just I don't know I just missed that Gene my husband can fix pretty much anything but I assign him all the tasks to fix things and he fixes it only so it's it's fixed to be usable not that already is Mile High so I need to start Outsourcing these tasks to people okay we got guys Mari has guys and if she doesn't she has guys who know guys but I like the guys I also suffer from the sticker shock of getting the guy when I know I could do it myself so there's got to be a balance of somewhere that's like the middle of the road where I'm not spending a gazillion dollars to do something that I could do for myself like where's the line for you for you it's I don't know anything we're gonna let somebody else do it no no no well I can paint I can take wallpaper off I can I can wallpaper but do they have wallpapers anymore and that's you know the extent of of Mike and you've got your new vacuum for Father's Day yeah dustbuster vacuum thing every night after dinner I take it out and I you know clean up um because that's my job Murray Cooks I clean up I've been doing it for 34 years now but no I'm not that I'm not that kind of guy see you need to get is she the designer and everything like the colors and the palette and the oh yeah okay oh yeah at our old house she totally redesigned the kitchen it was gorgeous and then we sold the house now we're redoing the bathrooms I mean we knew when we bought the place that the bathrooms were going to have to be redone because they were original and the quality of the cabinets and stuff wasn't all that good anyway and it was and it was starting dated it's time it's dated yeah it's that brown that was cool back 20 years ago so we're going gray now okay that's the color that's the color yeah we're going we're going gray and we're starting with the smaller bouts from Mariana's bathroom and they'll do that and then they'll do our bathroom but they're doing a very important thing that apparently not everyone who does this kind of work um things to do well they left us with the toilet okay well thank you they had to go in and clean up after someone else has started a job yeah someone we sold we sold a place to because the workers they were two bathrooms and the workers took out both toilets okay that's tough in the summer that's tough that's tough anytime you knock on your neighbor's door hi I know we're new we're new I am your new neighbor could I use your bathroom please I'll get you some Poo-Pourri I promise we'll spray everything will be fine my teenage son is so awkward yeah right Cody dig a hole I've got my military book around here somewhere specifics on how to dig a hole so no one will know that you were there there's a tree over here yeah that's tough right during coven my husband wanted to run to Port-A-Potty just because he didn't want people at our home I had to hurry up and tell my girlfriends when he wasn't looking to running just running and go that's ridiculous I'm so glad that we're past that in fact whatever one of our favorite pastimes has now become reading the sandwich police blotter that was one of the Crimes by the way somebody tipped over one of the porta potties at one of the beaches and then lit off a bunch of fireworks inside of it so it seems to be a lot of calls were made over dumb fireworks situations yes and also one that was not a fireworks situation was accused of of um setting our fireworks and they kept saying to the police no no I'm just you know using my using my pellet gun to to scare away the the squirrels or something and the police know the difference between a pellet gun and when you're setting off fireworks right and they apparently called this person on it that is not that no that is not that we know what this looks like there was another really fun one where there was a big argument over a dropped hot dog that's another fun one that you can listen to us on the air lemonadeio.com that's where you'll find Hank and that you know the police get involved in and some of the crazy things that people call the police about there was another one where someone reported um a bunch of guys standing around a bunch of trucks and it was ever Source Crews fixing lines I mean why would you call I mean the trucks say Gladys Kravitz you know they've got hard hats on and Tool belts and those are my most fun calls I love reading about them in the Towny pages I just heard a noise what do you think it is what do you think oh I know did anyone hear that oh my God it's my favorites but now people's sarcasm is really really on thick and I really just enjoying responses and you almost know for a fact on a page that you follow which by the way none of us are following humans anymore we're all following pages and Bots because we don't even know what we don't know anymore and now they're spoofing people so it's not even the person you thought you were following they've just done stolen your identity and pretending to be somebody else but once you get past all of that you've got the lovely Tony pages and you just know when someone's going to get shredded when they say something about something sometimes people walk right in full well knowing that they're going to get eviscerated like poor Hank said somebody posted something on one of the food pages that we follow those food page people get real upset not dining around no no no no Mari Mari bounces anybody who misbehaves on Cape Cod dining at home and anywhere else just in case you want to follow them yeah we're over 5 000 followers now join the crowd but there's another dining page where people get very angry yes someone wrote a review about this restaurant that they had been driving by and they were always cars and was always busy so they finally decided to go in and oh my God they didn't have lobster tails and they didn't have the prime rib and they didn't have this and they didn't have that and so people weren't reading it all the way through because if you get to the very end of it it says come on to McDonald's step it up it was a joke it was a joke but you read the comments you need to mention the restaurant here it's not fair to do a review without mentioning the restaurant oh my god when did the behavior start where we're angry we're pre-angry I know when we haven't even finished reading a sentence when did that begin we just assume yeah well it seems to be a regular thing now yes the other thing that I see on the on the Clearwater Florida pages we've scheduled our vacation for the third week in August the weather forecast doesn't look all that good should we cancel what that would be the case right now if this was your week for a school vacation right regular vacation right but the third week in August really you're going to cancel your vacation it looks like it's going to rain if you know anything about Florida it rains for 20 minutes wait five minutes and then the Sun comes out yeah it's like oh and or the people and this irritated God I'm just in an irritated mood today you're the problem right who will say we're coming tomorrow with our three kids are there fun things to do no it's miserable here no miserable come with us Aaron yeah I agree with you if it's tedious I will pay somebody else to do it build a table paint a room but I will not pull up pop Nails fix holes and sand but everyone's pretty talented and her husband is too that's my cousin Aaron right yeah I think she's pretty talented and I think her husband is talented as well but that's it if it gets to the point league but I never we don't go to the games I don't either and I'm a huge baseball fan I want to go I just never have the time when the time avails itself right if you're looking for something to do today uh wear him at Chatham is at one o'clock 4 45 born at yd and then 7 PM it's a double header at Chatham for Falmouth and Chatham in a baseball league game I know it's America's favorite pastime but I I try it's free it's fun it's family friendly I just never got a chance to do it we were gonna go we've been telling ourselves for years we were going to go to the Festival to Greek Church in Hyannis yeah do we remember no they missed it again missed it again we drove by it we drove by the church on like Wednesday and it was going to be that Friday and Saturday and like a week later we went she's like I'm a sucker for Santa oh we missed we missed so good yeah I didn't go to this one we ended up going to one in Maine over the weekend really those are the best the Greek festivals and the food oh food is fabulous I got baklava upstairs still and the and the and and they start playing the music and they start dancing and yeah well they didn't have any of that at this one I've got to say the one the Greek Church in Centerville does it much better they've got vendors they've got parties they have a lot of fun this one was just kind of like food in someone's backyard the church was beautiful though yeah okay the churches are beautiful we went to a a wedding at that church in Centerville once gorgeous wow it's beautiful stunning what they what they do yeah everything is done three times whatever you do you do it three times just making sure by the son Holy Spirit that's why they do it three times do you have to undo it when you get a divorce three times I'm just wondering remember click Cliffs on the clock so I know yeah come on babe I'm rooting for you and now that I saw that Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello are broken up Joe call me Cliff hasn't re-upped yet you know babe I should explain when when we first started doing this she referred to Cliff as you know babe and babe and babe so I started calling him the babe so that's that's where that came from um but maybe he should call Sophia not his type too much work not his type high maintenance oh I bet you other than that I can't see any other negative factor I had a band not blonde though that's your type remember yep yeah Mari oh oh oh Mari that's right yes blondes yep big time blonde big boobs that's what Hank wants oh yeah that's what I've been told is going to take care of me when I get older right and then Mari and I can go do things with our gay besties that's right bye Hank we've got plans we've got plans all right and you both have them and and I mean everything is all set yeah it's really kind of frightening everything's in place I'm not that older you know I still get a good run I think Aaron my leg is falling off should I go to the doctor those are my favorite things on Town Pages no no you should just sit there and wait wait for just see what happens maybe we can walk it off oh my gosh and what's with the thing in Mashpee of people having to prove that they lived in Mashpee in order to send their kids to the local school this is a touchy subject right now because we just lost our principal at Mashpee high school she worked for a year and she's like bleep this I'm out of here I can't I can't do it like very little to no suggestion about what we're gonna have I think we've already hired somebody else I don't even know who that is I don't even presume to know and like it came out of nowhere yeah then she quit yeah I don't I don't know I'm out of nowhere but there was a lot of hurry up to retirement this year in the school system yeah so something happened and no one's talking about it it's driving me crazy I wish I had a little in but everybody's been very tight-lipped about the situation that it is I've got my speculations and I'm going to keep them to myself also because if you were not a fan I'm not a huge fan yeah yeah um I'm I'm not of said administrator ah and I'm just gonna if I've got nothing nice to say I'm not gonna say anything at all we'll have to see what happens there but the principal prior I think two principles ago decided to take it upon themselves to go and verify yes I remember that was going like door-to-door yep to verify people to make sure that they were living in there to the point where they were like pushing in to go through drawers to see if they had clothing there which I think is crazy right right but that didn't happen it did happen and that administrator was removed what brought it on it's because there is funding so we've got this School of Choice here on the cape and if you've got some other place to go well there's funding so if you're not actually living in Mashpee they're not getting the funds that they need I don't know why one person would want to go and actually physically verify but now they're verifying people that are renters because you're moving around a lot and this seems to happen here because of the cost of living right so now they're verifying people that have lived here or kids in the school system the entire time and they're still doing it right same address everything else yeah yeah so it's been frustrating for the people that nothing has changed yeah and but there I don't understand what the big desire is I don't know if where that broke right that we really need to be really getting into people's lives like that that is that much of a problem that there may be somebody yeah so what's going on with the financial situation is what I would like to look at where's the money right why are we so hard up to make sure that people live here yeah what's happening yeah no it's it's a little it's a little it's a little weird anywhere else but where was it was it in Boston that there was someone uh registering at at a couple of schools and actually going to classes was like 22. yeah that that seems to be a thing I've read our crazy crime at least two or three times where people are old and going back to high school I don't know whether there are funds available I mean I don't know if I would like to start all over and go back to high school oh God no would you want to go back there no thank you especially not this day and age these kids no I I wouldn't no Oak High School was fine but I wouldn't want to do it again yeah right no it wasn't I mean it was fun I had a good time and and and all of that and learned a lot and Mario wants to zap you with a bug zapper when you start going downhill maybe we have a bottom Mari good morning Natalie thanks for joining us we're Hank and Stephanie we're here on Tuesdays uh we we have such a good time are you going back to school school in September I'm teaching online in September okay so that's going to be um a little different I don't have to physically go up to campus which is nice and then in the in the in the spring I'm going to be back up on campus again but um just kind of just kind of took a break from the from the schlepping back and forth yeah um because I saw back to school stuff when I was uh as the most wonderful time of the year didn't but that ad was so great Ed was so great I showed you another great ad this morning yeah oh God if you haven't seen it folks that's uh um there's a political ad you should look for about a republican congressman who ends up in a couple's bedroom and I'll leave it at that that's a freaky ad it really upset me I don't know how I feel about that ad uh yeah but is that what's election time maybe maybe she's zapping you no but that's what where I don't want to talk about September yet I want to just enjoy my summer in just a little bit longer I feel like I haven't even had a chance to start enjoying my summer yeah and they're already pushing out you know school stuff oh yeah so I saw the full on back to school shopping stuff already all the little kids with their cute little clothes and I kind of miss that I don't have that anymore all mine are in high school now my baby's going to high school and they just wear jeans and t-shirts and pajamas pajamas pajama pants I was shopping with my son and he got four pair of pajama pants Mom this is perfect for back to school really I'm like not even close anymore we don't wear clothes we wear those oh okay okay I picked my battles that's not what I'm gonna pick I've always let if one of my most favorite moments is looking at photos of Lily growing up because we always called her Lily Gaga she had outfits that I was okay you're gonna wear that well you go right ahead if you're comfortable in it you go right ahead because she was that tactile dysfunction kid she couldn't have edges she couldn't have layers and it got to the point where I would just send her to school and whatever she felt comfortable and I would hand the bag of clothes that she should have with her right to the teacher saying I tried right here's her coat she won't wear that here's this she won't wear that good luck to you I'm sorry I've really gotten better about it but it was one of those battles I'm never gonna pick with my child as far as what they look like and because I know those moms that are really good about making sure everybody looks cute everybody's dressed perfectly yeah I try I'll get one family photo that I really tried to get everybody to wear something cute then they'll usually making ugly faces that's what happened and it's weird because the kids don't care and then they care and then they don't care again yeah about how they look Matt said I'd be suspended in five minutes I can't deal with kids nowadays seriously oh free bubble party tomorrow in Buzzards Bay Park infants toddlers 9 to 10 a.m I like a good bubble party I got to do that one the sandwich Town picnic or the fire department started hosing all kinds of bubbles all over the field that's fun it was so fun uh uh yes please to the bubbles right everyone needs a little bubbles in their life they do that at craigville beach the second Saturday in August okay uh the moonlighters play out on the beach fabulous and the fire department in the past has come with the with the foam and they bubble everybody down and then they have this huge bonfire and it is just it's it's a great time we've been going for years and years and years and years I highly recommend it these are the Traditions I like bring your chairs bring your coolers bring your Red Cups everybody's cool as long as no one's a jerk yeah I think that that should be the rule of thumb that's my kids one rule Don't Be a Jerk right I actually say don't be a dick but they know better but of course you can't say that on the radio so we won't say it I think he think you can now the rules are lessons I was really sad speaking of on the radio side of things I'll uh I'll access is uh going out of business Joel Denver said that's it I can't I can't continue the way uh we're just not getting funding and if you've ever worked in radio or done anything with radio all access was our trade magazine our trade website and uh he said that's it we're closing up shop after 30 years no more wow and they'll they'll leave what's online um August 1st but that's it our industry is no longer the way it used to be oh gosh and it makes me really really sad I get it my husband told me that I was in a dying and a dying um field when we got married 20 years ago okay and and yeah and it isn't what it used to be no it's all video did Kill the Radio Star and it's all it happened and it's all what you're doing we're doing now yeah with with online and an app and and everything else yeah one listens to the radio anymore well that's it if you ask anyone under 20 they laugh when you say listen to the radio that it's just not uh it's not in their vernacular it's not what they do they want what they want they want it now right right and that's not what they're they're they're getting which is sad I used to love it flip it on listen to whatever maybe something new is going on maybe a cultural event maybe something socially I got my bucket was full right apparently no longer buckets are full no we have to go absolutely everywhere else subscriptions are going up you said peacock subscription is going it's going up I don't even know why you bothered with peacock but how many subscriptions do you have right now let's get it out there I think I have maybe 12 maybe more than that I don't think I don't think we have that many I have to take an assessment every year when we start doing the taxes and going through all the things and I'm like oh we need to get rid of all of these things yeah it is life on demand Susan but given given your line of work having all those subscriptions is necessary right yes and no I mean there are things that we can not have to have there are but you can make an argument that you do sure but I've just gotta I've gotta call the subscriptions we're almost in culling of the subscription time I usually wait till Black Friday uh for the shopping situation because everyone will run deals Adobe runs a deal all of our online stuff all of our tools that we use and the back end of things everyone will run a half off deal and I usually wait until then right you cancel and then you sign up again oh no or no I'll just buy for the year after oh okay like I I just have one or two that are in July and August that are really annoying and every time I'm like then I'll pay them because it's annoying got one coming up August 1st and it keeps reminding me yeah I gotta buy this I'm gonna buy it they know I'm gonna buy it I need it right they should know by now exactly they have all the data they have all the research well I'm also annoyed by automatic renewals yes at least apple is better now to remind you that you've got this dumb app that you paid money for that you don't any do you no longer need it cancel cancel cancel right I get one of those every now and then and usually it's stuff that that Mariana got when she was younger and I just haven't realized oh my God she still has you know Little Peggy something when she got when she was four or five yeah my kids stop asking for my phone because I don't have any games on it and zero there are zero games on my phone I've made it so you don't want to touch it you don't want to come near it it's not fun don't touch my phone just because your phone is dead you can't have mine oh okay well Mariana has her own iPad now and yeah they've graduated and you got her own phone so they get their Electronics earlier that's right we didn't have Electronics because they weren't invented we didn't have those we didn't have electricity when I was young yes we did I'm joking rocks making fire I actually worked at a company that was funded by Thomas Edison stop yes I love this we've come full circle here this morning I know it any any utility company that has the name Edison in it was that's an electric right it was fun was founded somehow by Thomas Edison himself interesting fun facts with Hank and Stephanie so I worked for Eastern Edison in um uh Brockton and Fall River which literally started by Thomas Edison he was in Brockton he was in Fall River it was really cool that's awesome I love that yeah once again fun fact yeah I had uh this week is my my canceriversary I'm here and you're stuck with me congratulations I like that no but five years is a big deal yes it is is it five yeah this is five congratulations yeah since the last treatment and all the everything that I've been dealing with and I'm on no medication right now like things are good if you want no medication I'm not not I should be unlocked trust me we'll add that back in right but I'm on none zero yes supplements and that's that's about it and uh I'm feeling the healthiest I've felt in a long time uh but the docs so maybe next week maybe next week after the summer it's hard during the summer it's hard no matter what right but I had a friend of mine so I I made this a jubilant announcement and I'm really excited and then all of a sudden I get an inbox from um a for actually he's still doing weather right now and Rob was kind of like you're normally so positive I'm really are you okay and I'm like what do you mean I'm great didn't you see I was like my last post he's like it doesn't matter what size you are I'm like oh I'm not really pontificating on it or like I'm good I'm just relaying to you what I've been told right I'm fine with that it doesn't bother me my size is my size and that's that's it right I'll dress it up however I'm going to dress it up but I'm enjoying my life I'm happy I'm here and I'm at this point now where I'm I'm feeling okay to relax a little bit but I feel like as a Survivor you're never feeling okay to relax and you always are worried like could that be it what is that is this symptom something else right is this going to be something else right now and so it's really taken a lot for me to say it out loud so thank you for being part of this and with me today on this because I know you're a Survivor as well right and I have a um colonoscopy schedule yeah a couple of couple of months good times good times I mean and I'm not I'm not worried about it or anything like that but given that I had a little something last year you can't in the back of your mind oh you know it might there be something there yeah something before is what it is yeah it's one of those things though I feel like it's it's so hard to we have a lot of them unfortunately here survivors of cancer on the king I don't know what it is whether it's the the water or the base or the you know you've got people trying to think here and there people try to make a big deal a number of years ago about pave boss yep and and Silent Springs and there are some people doing long-term studies on it and why we do have the highest breast cancer um it numbers uh in the world in the world like that's wild so here we are two little survivors down here here you go I know and if you're not having the test on when you're supposed to have them done what's wrong with you well I mean people are nervous and they're scared and you know what sometimes you don't want bad news I avoid the doctor like the plague if I have to I don't want to go yeah I go oh no my my doctor's probably tired of hearing from like hi it's me again another question we don't have that portal now where you can email them yes you know like hi it's me again this just happened so take a moment make sure that you're at least schedule your things I know it's a to-do and we just changed insurances and that has been an absolute bleep show oh my gosh no it's up but it needs to get done so go and make sure you take care of yourself that's my my one wish for you today there was one good thing about getting to be my age yeah Medicare looking forward to that Hank I'm not looking forward to much in that Arena but I'm definitely looking forward to that everything I everything I went through last year I did not get one bill that's awesome and that's the way it should be right you've worked hard you've worked your entire life I wish that was more the case for everybody oh yeah but don't get me started on politics we're not going to be doing that okay we've been here an hour we're ready to move on with our day that's right and I'm cranky enough already don't get me going again I've calmed down we're gonna go take
