all right foreign adio.com right now wow I know right we finally figured it out it only took us six months that's so cool so we did have a productive working vacation my husband and I did we're gonna have an actual vacation coming up oh when ha the third week of August we're going to go away for like five days yeah should I Mark that down in my calendar if you can do it if you feel like filling in that our actual anniversary day oh good and my husband's birthday you're celebrating your anniversary we're actually celebrating he's taking me to the Poconos it couldn't get any more 70s than that so he's doing better so he's doing better he's up for Renewal I we'll see we'll see how this goes no I just laughed that he's taking me to the Poconos that's really sweet but then he showed me like this Martini tub yeah it's like the it's I will have to share photos with you I said can you call and see if it holds two plus size people before we go there you don't need to be sloshing around in that Martini a bikini tub a tub that looks like a martini glass yeah that you fill with Martini no it looks like a martini glass It's like got a ladder up too actually that's kind of cool I know I mean not not I mean not to be creepy but please take pictures no I definitely said that we need to do a photo shoot in the martini pool I said even if Cliff's got like goofy goggles on okay and when it's like something funny we're definitely we're working on a photo shoot if we're going to be renting that room we might as well reap the benefits of it yay Hank says Kathleen and I'll be in Dallas so your free Murray said that's right that's what I was trying to figure out yeah she's she's going to be away so I love that I'm good for the week so perfect very cool tag you're in so thank you so much for fun I I truly we did have a lot of fun I'm still kind of recovering from getting up so early yeah um like I didn't have to set the alarm this morning really because being oh okay yeah but I was up we start I mean we when I start at seven but you actually started sick so the programming starts at six yeah exactly so I I haven't been able to get to that and I'm putting out small fires as we speak right now because apparently the app keeps crashing but this is the first time that we've done the live that worked to the stream so it might affect the app some might as well just listen on know why but I end up doing it all the time and everyone's like do we need to see that yes we do yeah and now I'm sharing it once again for a little bit longer of a time because I'm not exactly sure how this works but there you go now you can see it on the screen right next to us Hank yes very good right we're working on all these new tools that we have at our disposal so see that's what happens when you go on vacation listen I did learn some things or what but I'm working on it I'm right on top of that rose right right right I did get to see the Barbie movie Mari saw the Barbie movie less than impressed with the Barbie movie yeah Marie and Mariana were like yeah okay I think it might have been Mariano's 11. so her her knowledge of of Barbie isn't quite the same right you or or Mari but I just thank God they didn't ask me to go yeah stayed up and watched the whole thing so I was impressed with that he went he did he went to the Barbie movie and stayed awake the entire time he didn't no nods no nods no naps no nothing so you should just tell people what I thought he was doing when we I forget where we were and I was sitting behind him I just thought he was so busy that he was he was on his phone working the whole time it wasn't working Jesus poor Cliff it just doesn't stop I didn't realize no he was out cold that's his nap position oh cool but I did go see we the three of us did go see um Disney's Haunted Mansion oh how was that that was wonderful okay it was funny that was on our list of things to get to but maybe today today's kind of a crummy day yeah yeah today's the movie day it's going to be corny this morning for sure well Barbie has been dominating the box office like sold out shows I couldn't believe it was sold out all weekend wild to me women dressed to the nines and Barbie versus Ken I am doing a Barbie versus Ken music Bingo on Wednesday oh boy and the Barbie freaks have come out of the Woodworks all dressed up for it I'm here for it I think it's absolutely adorable dominating the box office a half a billion dollars that it's made half a billion dollars you know and they're talking about in terms of as they call it Barbie Barbie Heimer or whatever yeah the Oppenheimer movie yes you know number two in the box office and it's only made like half of what the Barbie movie yeah yeah and it's doing I mean and I think those are the only two new movies that are really gonna make any sort of box office wave so by the time the strike is over the year will be over and that's what they were saying those are going to be the only two nominees and it showed a really ridiculous photo of Ryan Gosling like dancing he's like this could be your Oscar winner and it just made me laugh because you know what it could be you know that's a question yeah has anybody really noticed that there's a strike there's so much content out there yeah there were so many movies probably already planned to be released when are we going to notice that oh gee the writers are on strike and the actors are on stream yeah that'll be like 20 25 so I feel like they're gonna be on strike for a little bit it's going to be a little while before that happens for us because it's not getting a lot of visibility no but this is a good opportunity for people like you and I yes hey we're making new content every day hi we're not on strike right we're here we're not members of sag no Sack or whatever sag Astra or whatever it is we're here working right thank you very much you're probably gonna get a phone call this afternoon saying Oh Come here sorry guys you didn't invite me and I'm not going to be unionizing now it seems like it's not worth it some large muscular guy is going to come to the door asking you to join the union I'm down I'll join not really no I like to go to the wealthy Drive in at least one time during the summer and that kind of would have been the one I would have gone for would be Barbie but yeah we just haven't made it out there this year it's just I've been incredibly off this year we've had a steady stream of family my mom is here right now with with the dog my brother's coming on Monday it's his birthday yesterday I mean you mean Fox Fox News brother yes he'll be here on Monday okay loving New York good organizing protest outside he's on our side oh okay and he's a weather guy anyway he's in the weather Department he's in the app Department he's fine he's on our side he was their token higher we gotta have one of those Jack uh no he's definitely been enjoying his time in New York and uh moms definitely think yep it's not boating well for me in here no everything is broken I did get to meet a friend of yours over while I was doing the ridge Club yes and uh Bobby Darin yeah really really super nice guy nice guy yeah he came over and was like first off I have one question actually I have two questions probably three questions like just very very funny and uh he was excited that you and I have been doing this show he said he really enjoyed it so that was nice Bob and I Bob and I go back to um uh sandwich politics and the golf committee and um all of your favorite things we're involved in a um and a lot of stuff together we went to the same church for a while really nice guys wife's a sweetheart a couple of great kids you know friend for I don't want to say how long yeah Walter I had to take the disco ball down we had three people in the studio last time so the ball was distracting and it covered one of my guests faces I'll bring it back when it's just Hank and I it also distracts Hank so I've got to keep him away right because I just look at it right or it likes to whack it like a pinata since we already had that conversation all right everything seems to be working on the other end right now thank you to the man and the computer for fixing all the things I just saw things moving like the Matrix over here and I'm like all right I guess it's being fixed for us kind of like The Wizard of Oz that's it the man behind the curtain that's right he actually is uh he he's a wizard in his own right like I said I had a crazy morning this morning you guys were both I walked in this morning and I heard I heard voices and I thought to myself they can't both be down here already we were all down here this morning I threw oil on them there are just too many people living in this house right now my daughter is home I've got extra people and every crevice of my home your mom is here you've got you've got your two my Jay ones live here anyway oh and your G1 am i j ones then the extra kids it's just it's everywhere the Inn is full yeah No Vacancy sign in the front yard but also no one cleans up after themselves so every morning it's like take the trash out clean up all the dishes from the Frat party that ensued last night in my house unbeknownst to myself that's right because you're sleeping out cold and go to work in the morning I miss like seven phone calls last night apparently I was like out I did not hear my phone ring Buzz beeping apparently people were trying to get a hold of me at midnight last night um not the person to call at midnight if you're in a and if you're in a rut or in a trouble Pro situation 5 a.m 6 a.m call me all you want right midnight Mama's not calling me back all right Mama has to get up in the morning I'm just not an early uh a stay-up late person I said don't you gonna say I'm not an early morning first well I apparently wasn't today as I'm throwing oil on my husband's hands as he's washing them and it's like I'm so sorry I thought I was like he was very calm there wasn't any kind of what the heck he was just oh see what you just did honey yeah that's not a normal morning for him so even my mother goes He seems to be a little calmer in the last couple of days I'm like I don't know I don't know don't let don't poke the bear as he's watching this live going I'll get you later right love you sorry about that so it's been a little bit since we've been together so uh you've got a bunch of stuff that you wanted to get to didn't you I feel like the uh first off we talked about emotional intelligence I always talk about it just because I feel like some people are emotionally intelligent and some people are mathematically inclined some people are gonna you know whatever it is and my children are definitely emotionally intelligent more so than I am in most spots right and they say it's built how right well what they what they say is they they they of course there's a three-word phrase that you can use to ignore her full comments okay and move on this is what emotionally intelligent people do all of our social media people watching right now listen if you want to be more emotionally intelligent this is your new mantra these are the three words you're supposed to use they don't know I don't know see they don't know whatever someone is saying don't get upset about it just say they don't know all right move on isn't that bless your heart isn't that the southern version right bless his heart hold on they don't know don't continue condescending it is I don't know what they're talking about or I suppose two words would be screw them exactly that is the nicer bless your heart actually that's one and a half words they have a screw em so screw them there you go that's one word that's a contraction now you're right that's what it is that's all you get there we go they don't know okay I'm gonna rewrite this article now and just make it I do like that yeah right it's all the above Lauren says LOL to that because it is and good morning I hope you're doing well today uh we had a full night at uh Dino's last night with our trivia some new guests some bolstered teams it was a really really busy night you have some really like team teams oh yeah they're serious serious they have the same spots people wearing sunglasses yeah oh yeah they're in it yeah this is their spot get out of there and then the other teams are respectful of the where the other teams sit and we had a team that requested a seat on the floor because they had one of their friends joining them that happened to be in a wheelchair at that point so the requests were made and people were kind of like why are they there why do they get the floor seats what's happening because you just never know what's going to happen our tie Breakers are pretty fun right and they usually in involve some flying objects so you definitely want space for the miniature golf thing people like the little Putt-Putt yeah I said we're gonna have a putt off maybe at one of our Ridge club nights just because they're big golfers right and it's super fun they get riotous when that thing comes out they get all excited and they start taunting each other about who's gonna make the butt really oh yeah it's better it's fun Rich Club people do that they do right well so but that's what Bob came over to make a comment saying these people don't normally stay for anything so you got them to stay good job and I was like all right that made me feel good I needed a little pep to go into my week right because sometimes it is uh difficult entertaining people sometimes it is you feel other people's unhappiness right and that's sometimes a tough spot to be and talk about emotional intelligence I do my very best to just make you have a good time right and leave your worries at the door when you walk into a place I do my best for those of you who don't know the ridge Club is a gated community of very expensive homes with a very daunting golf course I heard it's tough oh it is yeah it is it's tough There's an opportunity for you to play The Ridge Club right now we have the boys and girls club has their online auction which is he'll cook you the meal for you and your friends and leave yeah exactly we tried to get some experience do the dishes and leaves that's it take care of all this and you guys enjoy yourself so right was talking to a few friends at Dino's last night and um they were a fan of the questions of the day and they were a fan of just the the photo shares Mondays I love to see your photos from the weekend and I actually do look at each and every one of them because I love like just being a part of something fun that was important in your life it brings me such Joy so I'm sitting there with the scroll and uh one of the women there was like I really I love when you post those questions it gives me a chance to share the useless pictures that I have in my phone but cell phones um AI you've owned this has only just begun oh yeah plastic fast cars with no brakes LOL best woman no no gaming systems cell phones seem to be the big one bras Politics the Flowbee the flowby right I'm sorry I don't know is of the day no for the picture I was I have always wanted to have a Volkswagen when I was a kid I would have to drive by this Volkswagen dealership to go to a girlfriend's house or like a junior in high school and there was this lime green VW Bug and I wanted to buy it and I kept telling my father I wanted to buy it and he said that's nice you buy it so of course I never bought it but at church on Sunday morning I get out of my car and sitting right across from me is a red VW Bug convertible there she was yep I do remember seeing it on I had to go from the 19th 70s it was in really good shape though it was nice shiny very well taken care of the roof down yeah so before going to church I'm walking around taking pictures of this person's car there's a creeper in them wondering church parking lot taking photos of people's cars yeah weirdo Hank you can't be the weirdo answer right and then and then someone else posted a VW bus my friend Lauren is doing a crowdfunding so she is our friend that's the joy Seeker she's an amazing painter she's a fabulous artist she does everything from window displays to face painting of children and she this is what she wants to be able to take her and hone her craft to every space that she is in it all of a sudden became not fuzzy anymore so I don't know what's going on you know back when those were popular those VW buses girls were often worn by their mothers to not get in well that's you don't get stop messing with the camera camera man was that your was that your wow even the camera said wow Hank I'm talking about inappropriate girl get in the van obviously it's got Shad carpet don't go in there that's right uh Mario said uh girly girl parts will be having their walk run for ovarian cancer Saturday September 16th and I think you Mary's auctioning me off in that yes she is actually which is totally fine as a Survivor five years I appreciate that so yeah thank you very much that's funny she's like are you okay if I auction you off I said no one's really ever asked but thanks I'm okay to be auctioned off of course perfect yeah so Lauren is crowdfunding for her VW Joy bus in which she is going to Stage her business out of the VW bus right and uh there's a company that actually refurbishes them really and goes and finds them and then obviously the upsell is quite large oh I'm sure but the work that they put into these machines is incredible they do a wonderful job with them so I was kind of jealous there's going to be a lot of them still around I want a yellow one a yellow one my little mobile radio station in there how cute would that be oh my gosh they roll up to events with that thing I can't I mean we both can't crowdfund for vws but it'd be fun it'd be like ketchup and mustard and if somebody out there wants to sponsor us we're available so let's talk about the Red Sox shall we what's going on with them if someone out there has a bus let let her know and then we'll because I need another project and then we'll take it from there and and she needs another vehicle I do in the driveway in front of her house that's right there aren't enough out there no no there's not enough broken vehicles in my excited for for the things that are happening in the future for us right and my daughter my 20 something Yes actually asked me if I could pull out the DJ gear and show her how it worked because she wanted to try it out cool okay sure all of them bucked all of the things that I do and you watch in some way shape or form one of the life skills that they've learned from Camp lemonadeio is going to be part of their life right whether it's volunteering for things whether it's showing up and helping out somewhere whether it's running an event whether it's being on the radio being okay to get up in front of a microphone and talk to people they will retain one of the life skills at some point in their life so you can't you can't help not be not being around it and do it yeah yeah yeah it'll work their way and it'll pick out it'll pick up somehow well I wanted to talk about baseball because you you brought up the Red Sox and I know nothing about what's going on with the Red Sox or baseball this season what's happening they had the best record in Major League Baseball in July right and at the moment they are probably one of the worst games the worst what happened well uh there was all kinds what my personal opinion is there was all kinds of talk at the trade deadline that they were going to do this and that which was August 2nd the only reason why I know it's because I used it for a trivia question there you go there you go and even the players were asking for you know we need help to bolster the roster and they essentially didn't do anything what they did do was they acquired a player who was just kind of okay had a couple good years a couple years ago put him on the roster and caught a player who had been with the team the last four or five years and I think one of the things that we do is we don't think about these guys as humans and just employees and the teams in the workplace yeah if you're looking at things by the statistics only right and we're looking at well your professionals you're getting paid but look at a million dollars and you should you know it had to be an unsettling time and I I I think that they once again if you're workplaces if if all of a sudden you know you're in a workplace and someone you really like is dismissed a couple of days things just don't seem right and everybody kind of goes through the motions and maybe don't do the best job that they could and I think that they've made some incredibly stupid plays in the field that they should know better yeah like little league but apart from the Sports Action and yeah Gloria the Blue Jays kick the Red Sox out all right we know about that and they should have and they should but I think what you're saying is a really good analogy for the work environment and our life environment when you're pulling out key players because they're either not essential to whatever but you're negating the fact of what they bring to the culture of your work environment what they bring to the office as far as everybody's emotional well-being there's more factors than just statistics of work productivity so I think that that's a good fact to add it brings company morale down sometimes when you've got a bright spot of a person that leaves the company whether they're pushed out or whether they leave because they feel unwelcome or they're unhappy in their work environment I think it's so important to nurture individuals that are not just bringing the statistically thing that you need to to the office yeah I mean last year they traded Christian Vasquez yeah who was the starting catcher and one of the leaders on the team it has now come out that they were trying to trade Justin Turner who is they signed him this year he's a um he was a free agent isn't he a diva who oh Justin Turner yeah no that's that's Verdugo that's a whole other problem no just in turn is the guy with the big red people okay and he's like the heart and soul of the team and now for like the second year in a row they traded somebody who was a key part of the team last year now this year that they were very close I guess to trading JT who is the heart and soul of the team this year and if you're if you're a player again just think human being workplace you got to be kind of um what's going on here yeah I know they're paying me big money but what are they doing yeah do they even care about yeah the culture here yeah that's right plus Boston Vans will just go buy it anyway they're going to burn it to the ground so oh yeah you better step it up oh yeah and everybody immediately we're gonna light it on fire you know everybody immediately wants to fire the manager you know and it's and it's not it's hat on a platter right right you know and it's and it's not Cora's fault that that um um um what's his name um I forget his name I know nothing about baseball so I'm glad that I'm finding other pieces of nuggets of treasure that you're sitting right now for other activities in my life well they lost one of the games to the Blue Jays because it it looked like good morning Caroline um um I forget who it was was had hit a home run and to play who was on second started his little trot except it wasn't a home run it got caught and he got thrown out in second and that was the end of the game he should have waited until he saw for sure that it was a home run or if it was caught before he started right his run leaving the base and that's not to manage his fault I do know that part that's like that's like little league yeah you can't do that that's what I'm saying I know that from softball you don't do that you don't do that good morning Joe good morning Danielle thank you for joining us so they've been making these kind of Taco stupid what are they thinking mistakes yeah some stuff dumb stuff and I think they're just well maybe because they're stressed out about their regular normal stuff that they're just making dumb mistakes because their brain is all over the place right and then you've got Alex Verdugo who was having a great year he carried the team the first part of the season and Cora sat him down once because he didn't um feel that he was hustling sufficiently or whatever and then Sunday I think it was he was going to be the starter and then core pulled him out and core said it was one of the worst days he Cora has ever had in baseball yeah that's tough to manage a team that's so something's mainly falling apart something something's going on with with Alex Verdugo that that I don't know and he didn't have the greatest reputation when he came from the daughters a couple years ago but this is the guy who could trade it for mookie vets so we were already not happy with that no no no we already weren't happy with that but imagine when the Dodgers come I think the Dodgers are playing the Red Sox this year they're going to have to have a cool video for Mookie Betts they're going to have to have a cool video of karenendez there's like these whole if you watch the Dodgers it's like the Red Sox West yeah the number of players we don't normally play them because we're not in the same league right correct but what they've done is very good what they've done this year with the schedule is they've mixed it up so that everybody plays everybody National and American League so we can show off exactly how much more bad we are right so you can get to see teams and the worlds can see how terrible the Red Sox have become right right I mean you'd never see the Dodgers that's true you know but I mean everybody's playing everybody else so that's one kind of fun but it's another year where once again on my Cape Cod things to do in the summer bucket list go to the drive-in Didn't Do It Go to a Cape Cod Baseball League game didn't do it they've just now entered into their playoff season right and nope haven't gone to a game either I keep meaning to go I mean we live so close I know we can right over to the kettleers yeah which is a really nice park and and an area so easy to go that's nice and I've been to the Commodores games and I've got friends that are in that organization and I keep meaning to go and I keep watching their social media a little bit more intently and I'm I I still haven't gone but whoever is doing their social media at The Commodores you're doing a bang-up job I really like what you're putting out there it's very good I mean they even run um uh trips from from The Villages and and we don't even do that yeah rtb and I are really excited we both have our costumes on order I'm not going to tell August uh yeah and uh that's during that's during the week of just absolute Insanity there's parties there's people in costume there are shows it is mirth merriment and a bazillion people and there were Bears running around oh there's all they're all things running around get your dictionary out Hank oh Serafina you're in the parade this year excellent you will definitely see us there and there are going to be tons of Barbies yeah there are oh yeah I just know that there are welcome Barbies now we took Megan this is years ago her first trip to Provincetown and that was when the show that summer was big born Barbies so we don't say anything and we're walking around Provincetown in and out of the shops and everything Oh Daddy look at the Barbies Oh Daddy look at the Barbie I love that so damn funny I don't know Mateo yeah yeah look him up on look him up on um on YouTube okay he is really really fun I'm always down for a funny comedian it's always the worst when you're sitting there waiting for them to be funny because that's got to be difficult as a comedian when you know people are there to get ready to laugh and you're not making them laugh right that's going to be stressful yeah when you just bomb yeah or they're waiting for somebody in the audience to take a play off with us speaking of comedians we didn't get to see them a good friend Jerry Thorne was it knock about life yeah tonight what happened I don't know we we missed it somehow we were going and we didn't get and all of a sudden it was like oh gee Cherry was there tonight that's how the summer has been for me I've got all of these things that I want to go to and I've gone to like very few of them yeah it's been difficult yes managing this amount of people I think that's what uh what it is it's Saturday longtime partner passed away at ALS so sad only 57 right and and it wasn't something that a lot of people had a lot of general knowledge about no no she keeps her private life very private as much as she possibly can she's Sandra Bullock I can imagine that just wanting some piece of normalcy wasn't she involved with some crazy tattoo guy oh God Jesse James earlier in her career yeah okay everybody was involved with Jesse James I said no no short of woman in his life I okay what was attractive about him well he's kind of hot and he's on also on that like West Coast Chopper show it's motorcycle guy okay tattoos but then when you like actually find out more about him he's like in his alcoholism and womanizing and it's very unattractive when you start peeling the layers of that sticky onion oh like why did I never know he already looked like he needed an exorcism yeah yeah he was one of those guys said oh yeah okay yeah he made The Exorcist yeah he did that like oh I do horror movies and no one bats an eyelash because you look like a horror movie I I'm never I never put them side by side as I'm looking at him going yay that makes sense that tracks yep like that kid you're like that kid's Gonna Be A Serial Killer do you know who else passed away who else passed away a blessed month and I missed it Randy Meisner from the Eagles oh I know that kind of like well he wasn't part of the Eagles I mean the Eagles have such a crazy history of who's in and who's out but he was another member of the Eagles who uh wasn't part of the band anymore um but he had had he had issues and demons and all that and he passed away and I think he was I remember seeing the age he was 79 he went looking he's what How old 79. is that yeah I feel like that's average age right if I get to the average
