saraphina and I were in a entrepreneurial book club where Stephanie never read the right book and Stephanie was terrible at this book I I really stopped at book CL I did not fabulous I'm what I just had a visual I just had a visual I proud of it hi everybody good morning boys and girls did you think we got lost in the fog I sorry well you well no the fog kind of the fog of my laptop does I don't know that's why you haven't heard me my laptop some reason isn't isn't hooking up to what's going on here and I don't know that thing looked like it it had a little accident I was looking at it I was like are you missing a chunk of the the laptop well well no yeah the corner is kind of broken oh of the of the cover I mean it's it's just it looks like it had a fall poor Humpty Dumpty laptop it probably did so what's going on everybody happy Tuesday to you I don't know what you're doing today but uh I have no shortage of activities I'll tell that right now no it's busy right now yeah but at least some of the road construction appears to be almost done I don't know I just saw yesterday that they updated that today from 9: to 5: they're going to be just shut starting off 151 in random spots again I'm like oh good well down at the intersection down here sorry folks if we get a little like you don't know what we're talking about but they have finally marked where the arrows and everything are gonna go oh well that's good what's up Dave that'll be that'll be a good thing but it's Gotta it's got to stop I mean roal Day weekend is coming Believe it or I know I know it's got to stop they can't be they can't be doing it when people are coming here for Memorial Day weekend this weather needs to change my poor j1's they're from Jamaica and they're not loving this right now can imagine not offc today tomorrow it's going to be like 80s 90s of course here it's going to be yeah 6ish maybe 70 yep but you know wow people going to be coming and they get confused enough when they come as you all know for those of you who who live here who are watching us they tourists get confused enough they come to a rotary and they stop well they're going to get a quite quite a lookie when they come over the born bridge at some point yes this is going to be a new one so yes do you need something oh okay it's been one of those mornings honestly like just trying to get the DAT together and get going I had a crazy weekend what' you do what did I do this weekend H I don't remember oh oh we had a soccer game in Fall River oh in the in the in the kind of cold kind of Misty but it was freezing on Saturday they didn't win yeah um but they played really well and Mariana played the best game she's ever played we were like look we were looking at each other going who is this child that's awesome she was running back and forth and getting involved and stuff and Megan kept saying is that my daughter is that my daughter who is that it's nice when they have a good day like that yeah they' have they have one more game uh next Saturday and then that's going to be it but the nice thing about for river is um because soccer is such a big deal they have a really nice field yeah nice level field in downtown Fall River well I mean there's a lot of Portuguese right Portuguese is a big deal with the this one was behind what I think was the police station um but it's right when you get off 195 it's right there it's a nice it's a nice stadium and we were kind of worried because Fall River and like you said a lot of Portuguese kids they all play soccer we thought oh boy get near this is going to be a re handed to you good morning Mark and the Fall River girls were very nice yeah a lot nicer than the fouth girls the week before oh well then the fouth girls were were not very nice A little aggressive huh Mari Mariana had to get out um left the game three times twice she was spiked in the foot what and the third time she got kicked in the kicked in the shin pretty good with a spike and she had girls playing dirty no no not Falmouth but the but the the at one point Mariana had crashed into somebody and the Fall River girl stopped picked her up had give her a hand LIF they're up you okay oh see I like that good sportsmanship it's important you know what I think it is they've been playing soccer all their lives so it's not like they have to prove anything yeah maybe you know I'm I'm this tough I'm that tough I play soccer this is what I do yeah Emily says the sun is coming out I hope so I need a little bit of it I'm leave the Batcave today I got things to do I'm dressed in human clothes today yeah she is she's all dressed up I got meetings Hank uh oh important important people uh oh no when you ask for money you should look nice so that's what I'm trying yes you should you should I'm doing my damn D today's election day in several towns here on the cape I know we've got Falmouth I was doing a little bit of digging because there's not one spot that says here are all the towns and what they're doing for elections which I find really weird um so it's it's Falmouth uh shout out to our friend Tom Z good luck today vote for z um Yarmouth Brewster Bourne Orleans and hartch all have elections today if I missed your town please drop it in the chat because I I would like to at least be one outlet that is giving out all of the Town elections here on the cape there are 13 and I know that we do it differently uh but it would be nice to know that there is one spot where you could find all of the information and who's running in for what right you know if there's one election that you absolutely positively should vote in where your vote could actually make a difference in the way you live your life your life it's your local Town election yeah I agree I mean the further up you get the food chain um it it has less and less specific impact in in general I mean Do's bedl in Washington there has been bedum in Washington there's going to be bedum in Washington does that affect the way we live our daily lives on a general basis no but traffic is screwed up locally that affects the way we live our lives that's where the local you know officials officials come in yeah you know and it's your taxes and it's how the you know the landfill or the transfer station operates and it's all that stuff that affects us on a day-to-day basis on a on a micro basis as opposed to a macro basis is that the analogy sure okay I never quite understood micro and macro but I think I just figured it out yeah exactly we need to start small start in your community and start voting and I know it's like a weird random Tuesday and I know just go and vote if you can and if it's in your town and you know then do it that's all we ask of you do your duty yes thank you very much um so where do you want to begin this morning do we want to start in the town of Sandwich where you were formally from let's start with last night on Jeopardy boys and girls there was a question Incorporated in 1639 sandwiches the oldest town on this cape in Southeastern Massachusetts really how many other capes are there the answer was Cape Cod yeah yes versus Cap May I don't know canaval right like if that's the Jeopardy questions My Trivia is really difficult if you if you go to sandwich scoop folks you can see a screenshot of It kind of fun though to be nationally recognized in the town of Sandwich right more so than um for our sandwich police blog let's just rip this Band-Aid right out oh oh my gosh yeah Gates some good ones today I really do love watching the sandwich police log and uh it never really disappoints some days are lighter than others this one made me laugh because somebody apparently put a tent at the bottom of the boat ramp on snake Pond um yeah just out down there I've never thought in my life oh this is a boat ramp great place to set up shop for the night right no I I wouldn't the party was reportedly packed up and AR uh when the police arrived so apparently they knew that they were getting that call just just a quick overnight day um however they did Issue a a recap they said so to recap if your license is suspended and you are allowing an unlicensed operator with an expired learner permit to drive your vehicle while you sit in the passenger seat you're both going to get in trouble and your vehicle is going to be towed yes that just happened shake and bake I very much enjoyed this also it said fireworks are starting early in the area of milroad let's not thank you very much the sandwich police always keeping it light and fun fluffy mocking the idiocy that it is you know just the regulars right now right right oh I'm sure there'll be fireworks this weekend because it's Memorial Day The Unofficial start of the summer and why not but it doesn't feel like the summer no well because it's not been warm no not at all not not not at all this weekend was pretty raw it was rainy I had events uh once again I've never djed out of the trunk of my car before that was the first see that's why you need the van we can check that off the Bingo list 100% why we need the van exactly what we uttered the entire time we were out there freezing our butts off got to get the van got to get the van why why were you performing out out of the trunk of your car well because um it was uh an event that could not be cancelled okay and 500 Walkers showed up oh all right so we were there they were outside in their ponchos and their rain jackets from every single Cape Town and including the islands both of them yes of BU of people people from Nantucket wonderful so um they raised almost $100,000 uh pretty incredible Sharing kindness wonderful organization and they've got hope squads in all of our local high schools that money will afford four New Hope squads and uh we want that to be in every single Cape Town and what does a hope Squad do so they are just really checking in with the mental health it's peer grief groups uh and it's for suicide prevention it's suicide awareness and um you know we need it more than ever mental health is such a situation in our in our day-to-day lives and uh suicide is is more prevalent than ever so I think that shairing kindness is doing a wonderful job of just setting out support putting out feelers making sure people are okay yeah yeah and it's okay and what's the phrase it's okay if you're not okay right I I embraced a complete stranger for a solid five minutes while she bowled her eyes out MH and you know what she found me on Facebook and was like thank you so much for a warm embrace oh very nice congratulations it was just it was it was a bizarre but comforting moment where I just felt the need to just hug a complete stranger and she needed it right in the rain while dejing from my trunk I it was an eventful weekend other other than that you weren't doing anything no I just sat around what's up Gloria that when I tell my kid to come to the bar so I can get your prom photos by the way her I was working her prom photos were positively stunning yeah she did she did her own hair she did her own makeup she really I mean all of it was spent on the damn dress yes I said and it came home in one piece so well that's good to know um you you you found the seamstress to fix shout out to our local seamess over in our Log Cabin our next door neighbor fixed it for 20 bucks and that held excellent she goes It's amazing to me that they still don't teach our children basic mending she goes cuz here it is right on the and I'm like you I don't know anything I'm not going to be responsible for the ass blowout this dress doesn't hold please for the love of God bolster that right and did she go to the after party or whatever they call it she did she went to the after well we were there we were the entertainment for the after party we were right and how did and how did she feel about that being there with the boyfriend she was fine they had a mechanical bull oh this party was lit good I was like I wish we had something like this when I was a kid they had gambling they had a little bit of Poker they had like all parents dressed up as dealers it was sterical they had video gaming stations for like 20 people they had this massive inflatable our friend Mark from Turn It Up Entertainment was there with a photo booth um it was it was awesome great we did karaoke out front it it was fun we had a good time as long as I could last right it was like it was like one it was one where I was like oh can I go can I go yeah everybody's in there now can can I can we leave don't don't ride in the bowl they don't want to sing anymore well we had the kindest Festival that we had to play music for on Sunday in the Falmouth Heights so we were outside and it was it was cold it was cold it was windy yeah I'm surprised I'm not ill so actually um uh one of my good friends from Magic Mirror shout out to magic mirror who does a great job with those photo booths but she's like do you ever get sick and I said please don't say that to me out loud cuz I'm going to get sick uh but also I feel like I'm out and about enough to just have all of the germs right that I rarely do get ill like that you could be the spreader I'm the super spreader plot twist everybody it's me because Stephanie goes from place to place to place and different groups of people with different stuff going on yeah right Megan yeah her dress was pretty amazing thanks guys and I I know it was really pretty I thought it was the best one there but it's just me as a mom well of course well now she's out of school I'm like you don't have any exams NOP n you don't have anything going on no my house should look stunning right now and it's it's just not so so what is she doing right now just relaxing she's being a potted plant well I mean she she she deserves to I she just it's you know that's a grind yeah um any any word on the FAFSA yet the the no God I don't know how I don't know how parents are going to do this I'm like breathing into to a bag but we have until July to make our final choices okay so Salem State still number one yeah I think she's just going to do it I think she's gonna do it it's something that she can afford and it's something where she's going to be away and it's a program she really likes yep and it's good for us because it's only an hour and a half away and she can hop on the train and I can pick her up in the Kingston area right well that's good then yeah take her grocery Sho and take her out to dinner and put her back on the train bye we hate to see you go we hate to see you go my son is gonna be so bored because she because his sister's not gonna be here no one there to bicker with he's gonna be fighting with himself in a room he's the last one hey hey Miss Jenny Jordan when are you gonna come on my show I would love to have you on nope she's just offering me food from your garden oh that's catnip oh yeah right she's growing some catnip and chamomile oh interesting a random stuff she's growing out front right now she's very much looking forward to working in her garden she's like a little old lady right well she's she she has promised me that she's gonna come over to the to the Villages oh yeah well shoot her ATT text she's got time now and help us with our with our little sidey yard that we thought was part of the fee would be taken care of but apparently it isn't so we have to do it ourselves and we just stink at it well we're just waiting for those prom nails to break okay yesterday was I can't do that my nails I can't do that my nails all right well that's that's old I'm getting over that they won't last that much longer will I'm shocked they're still there wow when she got them done three days before prom I'm like oh God they're going to break before she's going to look she's going to be upset we're going to be in repair Land right because that's just the law of averages when getting ready we're gonna be going to Walgreens and getting fake nails to somehow make it look passable for the night super glue that bleep up that's what we got wow that's the budget where we're at it's probably a sign that she's getting older I guess speaking of getting older I saw your wife at a Rick Springfield concert what time did it start yes Mari and a couple of her girlfriends went to mgan son and they went to see Rick Springfield yay and it started at 7 p.m I freaking love that talk about knowing your audience you can't keep the old girls up too late well he's kind of a whiny you know I thought that I had to host an event at the melody tent okay and I I got the photos I've got the receipts MH of Rick Springfield and I on stage together yeah and it was like what it was like right when the mods hatch I don't know when that is June it's probably like mid June yeah when that's that's another thing coming when we finally get nice weather then the things hatch right I mean it's not cicada worthy by any means but he had this giant ass moth in his hair and he's like very PR about the hair now right it's like 80s Rockstar hair at this moment in time yeah he's about 80 himself so so I went to like remove s moth from his hair and he was like it was like a how dare you look uhhuh and I was just like okay Rick Springfield you can settle down now right it was a little aggressive yeah I saw him way back when he was a thing the first time yeah at the I think the Provident Civic Center and he was pretty good I mean it was when Jesse's Girl and all of that was all all of that was a hit and he put on a good show and I forget who else was there but I'm just curious if it's still his hair which is why he was a little oh I don't know it upset that I was near it it may not be right it's certainly not the color it should be at his age what happens I saw a gentleman like this uh at trivia last night with the color of hair that I've never seen before I don't think it exists in real life you know you could tell it's like that box hair like when you first go completely gray and you're like I'm going to throw a color over this cuz it's going to make me I never I never did it but but it was almost like Ronald McDonald orange but it wasn't it was like Sandy orange it was like Donald Trump orange no no no no no it was a whole it took on a whole another level it was all One Tone and it looked like burnt umber it looked like a color that that Happy Trees would paint with and he went outside with hair like that it was just I was drawn to it because I was like I've never seen that color in real life before had he had he been a trivia before I know who the man is oh all right and he he looked fine with like the gray sides yep it was like the sidewalls I thought it looked distinguished right but now it was just like blanketed all one color and it was all I don't think it worked he one weird color that looked like wood he tried he tried something and it didn't work and he probably did it himself 1,000% I just don't know what makes someone want to do that is it a woman did somebody point out something like guys please give us feedback CU I'm just very curious as to what would make someone do that he's probably looking for someone younger and he and he thinks if he gets rid of the rid of the sidewalls he'll he'll attract someone younger but but not I mean is it what was it was it like orange like this yeah but it was dull it was like that color but just like dull it looked like Dead Leaves I've never seen this color in real life before then something went wrong 100% good morning Miss Eva hey Nate how you been he got Miss colored somehow I don't know what it is I'm going have to ask the hair care professional Emily what happened also I need to order some new shampoo thank you put that on my things I'm just barking out to do list today I'm we also conduct personal business here so excuse us for a moment I have so little free time and my brain is so add right now to get things done um because you got a lot of farm stuff going on because the because the farmers market starts Sunday it does Sunday Sunday that's it at beautiful Mash Commons yes um if you have not contacted the Board of Health yet please just wait until tomorrow H we'll get you in when we get you in I was dealing with phone call after phone call yesterday look we have plenty of time it goes on until October every single week we're going to be adding new people and we're gonna just keep adding to the schedule it's going to get bigger as the summer goes we'll have more food to Showcase in July and August because our growing season is so short here on the cape isn't the bottom line if you're going to be there with food particularly prepared food correct you got to go talk to the Board of Health correct I mean that's the rule that's I don't I don't know anything other than go talk to the Board of Health right if I'm a prism if you're baking cookies go talk to the Board of Health go because they want to as crazy as it sounds they're gonna want to come and look at your kitchen yep it could be the kitchen in your home most most likely is if the local local Merchants oh really you can't bring cannot you can't bring you can't bake cookies and and bring them from your kitchen at home no not unless you're selling them for ladio just throwing it out there we're a nonprofit We rise above that oh however if you're just you know Sarah's cookies you need a commercial kitchen we do have several of them available for you to rent space of culinary incubators is one of them how do people do that then and go to cam Appliance and rent it you can rent they have a rentable space you can go to places like um the there's two other commercial kitchen spaces that you can rent if your baby food businesses it's frustrating I had my girlfriends the salsa ladies the Lune ladies Lori and Nancy who have moved off Cape they moved to Upstate New York uh but they were here for years and years and years and they had to go and get a um commercial grade kitchen put into their home in East Ham so they could serve the teachers lunch right and they did this for years on years on years what's the difference between a commercial grade kitchen and the kitchen in your home if it has all the appliances and it's clean and I mean isn't isn't the thing that the Board of Health is concerned about is that your kitchen is clean it's like water and waste management no it has something to do with something else really yeah yep so you got to have a commercial kitchen wow so just letting you know baby businesses unless you have a commercial kitchen please go talk to the board of health or find yourself a culinary incubator and there are a few of them on the cape for them Eva midlife crisis on the hair totally oh probably Eva that's a good one that's a good one and yes Megan they were shooting dice too it was an amazing after prom party I'll tell you what yes do not pass go until you go to the Board of Health thank you Emily I appreciate that please other than that we are going to have a very great healthy situation going on we've got Wellness programming brilliantly balanced is going to start with some movement and some healthy food choices this is completely free so we would love for you to bring the family get your bodies moving run around in the field on nice days um we have sustainable cups hopefully that they will arrive in time if not there's next week right dealing with this cup order has been I told you I knew a cup guy and you didn't and you didn't not because that's what they do well plus they can all stay together in like a little dorm room so they can you know a shared space and there's like tons of activities there like pool tables and outdoor whatever is there's a pub attached to it all of them can actually go well just like the transportation just like the transportation system is so much better I saw a um um a post I don't know a couple weeks ago that showed the the um train system in the United States and the train system in Europe and and when you talk about I shouldn't say train I should say Rail and when you talk about the rail system in the United States that's like maybe four lines all across the country and then you show Europe and they're all this way that way and the other way and people just people just hop on the train y you know I'm in Paris I think I'm going to go to luxemborg Y that train leaves in 20 minutes and off they go and you know what people are so kind like if you look lost at all some random stranger will come up to you and be like are you confused where do you need to go where you're trying to go I'll help you you must be an American right and they're so kind and helpful they really are they'll stop and take a minute out of their day we'll just step over you this is how we go right uh Nate says I got got an interview with the Denver Broncos inside Benjamin Albright Thursday and I graduate with my radio and podcasting certificate that day too y congratulations I'm so proud of you Nate right we could use I have I have a couple people who are several people who are interested I almost season so it's like all the businesses are like wait a minute my credit C aren't working wait a minute oh this this wire is not working wait a minute our our internet is out sir hello sir so he has been push pulled in several directions my son is actually taking the day off of school today to go work with Dad wow but that's cool though yeah at this point that's that's cool to go work with that at I mean what are they doing I picked up Mariana one day yesterday one day one day last week and they had mcast I said how was mcast oh mcast was really great but you know we got to we watch this movie maybe you've heard of it um Remember the Titans this is what they're doing in school oh my God we didn't get to see we got 20 minutes left I can't wait to go back to school to see Remember the Titans so that's what they're doing nothing wrong with it the teachers are Gass everybody's done I mean they've they they've been through pretty much they're all done with mcast yeah they're all done yeah you know they're gonna be we didn't have many snow days down here so they're G to be done in about a month yeah if not sooner which is like crazy for me to think that you've still got three to four weeks of school left and you got nothing on the curriculum you're like why don't you just test them out and let them do their thing right we need more Field Days get them outside right double recess and we'll watch I mean Remember the Titans is a fabulous movie well I know mashby High School you just got that grant for that Garden I would love to see those kids out there working in it I'm really excited to see what you're going to do with it we met the new principal of mash P High yeah um Friday night um the the villages has a scholarship committee and they give out scholarships to um seniors from ashp high and we have a Mari plus today real estate um scholarship and we sat with our scholarship winner and we also sat with the new princip congratulations Lila Burke um and we sat with the new principal just a lovely woman oh good couldn't couldn't be nicer I I hope she sticks she's younger yep is she the one from Brockton yes okay yeah that's what she was saying she's tough enough she can handle us people were saying to well how about this how about that and she kept saying I'm from Brockton Honestly though I'm from Brockton I got this I I I I have High Hopes right I really do whatever it is you're gonna do in Mash B if she's from Brockton she's seen it and thank you very much to you and Mari for giving that scholarship I think it's so important and also the company too the company kicks in as well well and I love that it's lla laya's Mom Stephanie and I were both pregnant at the same time really so both us Stephanies our our daughters graduating together Lily and yla it was just really really funny all the similarities in between it and um oh because we just asked casually do you know you know blah blah blah yes yeah do and yeah you know I mean it's it's hard for someone that age yeah they get they get stuck at a table with a bunch of old people yeah and I mean she did she was lovely she was Charming she I think she was very grateful that the new principal was sitting at our table so she had someone to talk to as opposed to all these old folks and the vill but she was but mean but but but she was lovely but she didn't say oh well she give me give me the whole story maybe she doesn't know the whole story yeah maybe not um and lyla's older brother Max went to school with my daughter McKenzie okay and the two of them were like besties their entire time in school together so I was just really glad that it ended being her she's an amazing artist and I'm excited for her really really nice girl class was so good um I can't even tell you their post prom party they were so well behaved so fun so engaging yeah and just like really good kids yeah I I'm not g to cop to anything that happened after my prom I'm just gonna tell you it was not as good as wholesome as those activities that I witnessed it's a different time Hank yes I know I know yes I know we grew up at a different time yes we did and I grew up from a different time than you so right you know it was yeah that's just what you I guess I guess it's a good thing and and you know when they first started doing it when it was parent organized I kind of thought oh God but it's gotten it's gotten better and it's gotten more fun for the um for the kids as time has gone on well they were giving away iPads they were giving away TVs the stuff that they were giving away for I mean some of our friends children cleaned house right the activities and the giveaways were pretty epic so shout out to you mash B Boosters club you did a great job I really appreciate that so yeah we're gonna get to go away and Hank came across some airplane etiquette rules that we might be breaking yes you may be there are five airplane etiquette rules here the first one I don't know why anyone would do that there don't cut to the front of the security line people are just rude yeah even even if I'm in a hurry I'm in a hurry I'm in no don't do that it depends unless you have a baby if you have a small child that is running to the front of the security line go get them but go back to your space right I get it right the suggestion here is do TSA pre-check yeah there you go you know if if you think you're going to be you know or if there's a chance you're going to be running late um and if you running League talk to one of the TSA people don't go excuse me excuse me excuse me and go to the front of the line because Shar is the devil they're gonna go you over there yeah because they'll be watching if you watch how to catch a Smuggler on um my husband loves that show on on National Geographic doing something like cutting through the line and being in a hurry you're flagged it's the kind of thing that the that the that the kns will go oh that one are you not knock right right okay here's another one and I think we know not to do this but I guess some people still do don't ask someone to watch your stuff that went out a long time ago I think even if you're traveling on your own and you need to like go to the bathroom or something take your stuff drag it into that wretched St with you you know disinfect it later or or or or maybe find you know go to the go to the check-in desk and and ask the airline staff person hey can I leave this here with you I have to go but just don't you know have a random stranger as nice as they may seem here's another one don't ask to switch seats why well because people have booked particular seats yeah it's a different time now when you have to upgrade and pay for this specific seat which is so annoying the only thing that the airlines uh guarantee is adjacent seat for children under 13 and they accompanying adult yeah that makes sense I don't want to sit next to your kid right I'm telling you right now I want to sit next to mine right but other than that just don't ask right okay that's that's looking for trouble that's looking for um uh you know getting into a beef with someone yeah not worth it don't be an inconsiderate seatmate for example use your headphones oh yeah now here's the here here's one recline in your seat I think I mean that's what that's what it's there for I'm paying to recline my seat I don't think I'm being rude yeah if I recline my seat but apparently it is and I don't quite know what the point is then of having you're like laying in people's laps the problem is that when you're making economy seats they're making them Tighter and Tighter so when you do recline you're literally laying in someone's lap right but they used to go way back like this yeah and I could see that as a problem I mean that was a that was a that was a best his one you're not you want don't do any personal grooming dear God no um we've all seen it though yeah I know it people are so gross oh oh we had a toenail cutter one time and I was like this is not real this is not really happening and then yesterday on the news I saw some woman that had put herself into the um check the luggage thing up top she was laying up there she had to yeah literally had to be removed had to ask to leave she was laying where your bags go in the above compartment she wanted to stretch out this was on the news just yesterday in Boston she climbed up yep I don't even know how the hell she got in there I was impressed by that that was some Parkour stuff right there she was laying in there they had to get security to remove her from the up above head bin um that's something I've never seen was she in an altered state she seemed normal which is also more disturbing I want to stretch out this is where I'm gonna lay I paid for a seat I want this one right I mean you can stretch out if there are think it was a Southwest flight where she was arguing the fact that it didn't say that she couldn't be up there this area is for seats I mean oh Emily says also don't go to the bathroom Barefoot or in socks only oh no that's not a no that's not a good idea boys and girls it's like a Britney Spears gas station moment no Britney Spears gas station that was that was a classic when she was having her meltdown shaved her head and she was going to like random rest stops uh like on the side of the road Barefoot that's right poor Britany now sharing armrests eh the suggestion here is is let the person in the middle have both sides yeah because you've got one and the other side has one and the person in the middle is really kind of stuck yeah that's courteous yeah just just you know I mean I have been I've told this I've said this before I have been guilty sometimes of leaning on an armrest and changing the the volume or the channel selection oh the wrong one for the person next to me leaning on the wrong one but you know it it it it I'm usually in the aisle and I'm usually dangling out right sorry right well now when we travel there's there's four of us now when like when we go to Florida in a in a in a couple of weeks and it's three in one yep so it's usually the girls and me yeah across the aisle um so at least I get an outside seat and then the three of them fight over who's gonna yeah there's five of us going over so I'm just curious how that's going to fed her out because I didn't pick the assign seats I'm like we're all grown ups we can be parted I don't care I'm not paying the extra 60 bucks a person to have an assigned seat it's six hours we'll find us after the flight I don't need to be next to you right I don't care I see you every day exactly yeah and the kids aren't babies anymore it's fine if they need me they'll get me trust me they won't leave me alone right right I've tried to lose them for a long time Hank keep coming back and finally don't be rude to air poor Personnel I don't understand how white people are rude to anybody in public generally anyway it just happens right if the flight is delayed yelling at the person behind the counter is not going to make the flight get there any quicker and it's not their fault for example you know they're doing the best they can if if you miss your flight well they're G to try to reschedule it the best they can if your flight was late coming in you missed the connection again the person behind the counter that's not their fault yeah I wish we had an opportunity to talk to our good friend cam flying the friendly Skies to give us some updates on the things he's seen we have to have cam on I know 100% even just to bop in and be like hey from wherever in the world that he is he's like Al you you know what he can't tell you where he is no you know like he'll He he'll post these pictures poolside at some fabulous Hotel some you know somewhere in I mean you know where he is generally in terms of he's in Honolulu and it's this fabulous hotel and you say what hotel is that and it's like I can't tell you yeah I don't know why that is security oh okay just in case okay the world is a crazy Place Hank I guess I don't want people knowing where I am and I'm sure he's always like two or three days later anyway later gram is fine no one needs to know exactly where your where abouts are keep it safe right to yourself he's been to some cool places absolutely uh we're uh Americans I saw this that we're spending two and a half hours a day dream scrolling dream Groll yep what's that me just going through everybody else vacation and life and things and wanting and wishing and hoping it was ours M and by the way speaking about that speaking about that can we stop the pictures of everyone's feet and the beach have you seen those yes that's all you see is feet and beach beach is fine don't need to see feet okay just don't some people like that Hank well I suppose they do but no I mean just just please don't and it's not even an original shot anymore folks okay it's like oh God another one okay please I would like I would like to have my feet on a beach but no that is not a photo anybody wants I'm telling you that right now I try to pretend they don't exist yes and we are planning a lemon Ado trip for 2026 we're working with Unique travel and uh it's looking like Greece and I'm pretty excited by the way unique travels definitely check out her she is graduating from eforall they're doing all of their pitches this week it's it it's another another cohort is wrapping it up and they're making their final pitches money is involved um also we've got an efor all party that is going to be happening over at Margaritaville in July wow they're doing a lot of work over there all of a sudden a lot a lot of people have a lot to say about it they retired one of the chandeliers that was uh beautiful hand blown glass and they brought it back to the um Sandwich Glass Museum and it was replaced by some I don't know gotty tacky sandal right of some sort and people were really upset about it smille kids I know get over it I right if it's going to bring tourist dollars and if it's going to bring some sort of whatever then you kind of have to let it go it's not going to be that thing anymore is it your hotel is it your chandelier don't stay there no right you don't have to go right it's the same thing scrolling if you're unhappy with it it's just everybody's got an opinion I get it everybody wants to say what they want to say and do I think it's you know but it's what it is right I remember that the the the initial press releases when this was first announced and and whoever was writing the press release was talking about you know how the hotel was you know nestled in hyas on Cape Cod and I'm thinking oh God they haven't seen this right there's nothing nestled about where Margaritaville is going to be once again going back to fact do we not do our own news here can we get some more please I would appreciate that some local MH where it is nestled it ain't nestled folks a lot of people are going to be disappointed because they think they're coming to the cape and they have this vision of the cape and a beach and they're gonna go to Margaritaville and there's going to be a beach and it's downtown Hy well not downtown rout 132 I've actually had to utter that in a commercial before scenic route 132 Route 132 has been uttered by me for for whom for several businesses who would think that that used to because this is their copywriters this who haven't seen the place exactly does nothing see we're 132 all the businesses everything else hey that's that's that's fabulous but Scenic it ain't Scenic well Scenic maybe in terms of oh God look at that familyowned and operated another one of my favorite Cap Cod cliches um what some other ones what restaurant just found for bankruptcy Red Lobster because the all you can eat shrimp did the men did you see that no that's why they had to file for bankrupt no I didn't say that I I just saw the headline I just I just remember for you guys who who maybe don't go back as far as as far as I do but it there used to be a Red Lobster and why they ever thought having a chain seafood restaurant on Cape Cod right was a good idea right let alone the Red Lobster that the Red Lobster that lasted about 32 seconds yep and now they file bankruptcy because of the all you can eat shrimp okay explain that I'm sorry I I interrupted you oh no I'm just right here Red Lobster chain goes bankrupt after unlimited shrimp deal it's where the Olive Garden is now by the way seafood restaurant chain fil for bankruptcy succumbing to honorous leases High labor costs and disastrous unlimited shrimp promotion listing assets and liabilities of 1 billion to 10 billion each in its bankruptcy petition assets of 1 to 10 billion billion dollars and they're going bankrupt with a b and a billion with a B yes oh my Lord 93 underperforming stores it's a lot of shrimp Hank that's a lot of shrimp they had to change their policy well because of the market in May of 2023 the company changed its $20 unlimited endless shrimp for limited time offered to a permanent promotion costing it $1 million as diners devoured expensive plates of shrimp I mean everybody had a loyal following their Cheddar Bay Biscuits we should have stuck to the cheddar biscuits and laid off the shrimp the shrimp did them in who would have thought who would have thought no I wouldn't have thought shrimp would would God that's bad plan gotcha I right somebody didn't think that went through apparently but to have all those assets and to be going bankrupt anyway it just doesn't make sense to me no no it doesn't it seems like someone's baded in the accounting department and they should be going bankrupt but I thought Red Lobster was are going to be at Shipwrecked they're up for like Burger of the year the Enterprise does this like Burger bracket right so uh they're up also sandwich Tavera which is another uh group of ours that uh is up for their burger brackets y so make sure you vote for if you like their burgers okay I honestly haven't been to Bailey's in the portions are huge a long time when we first moved here and we lived in sandwich we would tend to go over the bridge yeah um until we found out what was you know around here and now that we live in mashby it's like a whole different world it's like Disneyland here for us it's all new it's all new we live 15 minutes away from where we used to live and it's a brand new world isn't that funny how Town specific the cape gets to be sometimes yes look if you want to take a vacation go to the town next door to yours you might find something new right right or just go down Cape a little yeah you know go to Orleans it's a whole new world down there right yeah yes it is it is nice to mix it up so I'll be at chipr tonight Scenic Orleans well that's I was um in Falmouth over the weekend and I'm there every single Tuesday and um a couple of our friends were saying how they're Yarmouth people and they were like it's all different we're finding all these new places right I right exactly go explore a new town happy Tuesday to you sounds fishy it's Cape Cod thanks EV I appreciate it oh my gosh it is weight staff day yes so please get out there and tip big for our weight staff and speaking about don't be mean to people in the airport don't be mean to the weight staff if the restaurant TS on an additional charge it's not their fault either we had this conversation there was about seven of us and we were just remarking at what the cost of a salad is right now and it was outrageous and my husband was like oh no they must have charged you for the this and looks at the bill and he goes oh no that's that's what this hell it is right and then my girlfriend immediately piped up and she's like I've got to give a really good tip on this because it's not the weight staff's fault either no you can't cut Corners just because you know costs are outrageous but then my friend Liz jumps in with uh I went grocery shopping today and I was appalled right for the things I didn't get for the amount of money that I did spend right oh yeah and it's not going to last right it's a little crazy right now but you got you got to pay attention if you if you if you pay attention you can get you can get through it okay well the salad thing there's that Dr Rick commercial where he takes the um young homeowners who are turning into their parents and he and and he takes them to a to a salad place or something or somewhere to eat yeah and and this guy goes this guy goes through and he this all this stuff and and he goes to pay for the salad and he and the um person behind the register says that'll be I don't know 22 50 and and the guy goes I'm just no I'm just paying for myself he went no I tried right I tried no it's not cheap out there right now no no and the restaurants that are adding on the the additional charge for the credit card processing fee I think a lot of them are at the point where they have to do it because we're using we use less and less cash we use got credit cards more and more and the credit card companies are charging the restaurants and the local businesses as most of us know and every card is different you should have seen my head about to explode I had to have my husband in here just to like write down interest rates and conversations because we're getting the machine to process our SNAP benefits for the farmers market right and then going over which card charges what interest rates for what things and my my brain was like about to explode right because they're all different yep and it's all different all of the time oh it's crazy like it's crazy how do you even estimate for that so uh my hearts go out to people that have to deal with credit card processing because it's a wild racket out there right cartell like I think one of the last times I was on the air before I lost contact with the Universe um I talked about um I had this this this piece about how to get away from using your credit cards yeah and how it is much better in the long run in most cases to pay cash or use your debit card because even if you're going for the points the amount of money I want to get this right the amount of money you're going to pay in interest to buy enough stuff to get the points can sometimes be equal to the amount of the airline ticket you're let let me lie to myself and tell myself that I'm getting all these point just let me lie to myself in this one small Arena I feel like I'm doing like striving for in life when you have your crazy stories of Ben Ben and Jen who are now broken up and he said basically just came out today and was like she can't control me that's why we're getting a divorce and I'm like this you two are crazy Y and Hank thinks she should just hang it up I should hang it up she's done she's not done she's toxic she's got four or five more husbands left in her she's got plenty of time she's toxic but when you watch these situations like this it just made my heart really happy to see how much fun that Camila and Matthew mccon are enjoying themselves promoting their brands working together and enjoying their life not all Hollywood is is drama like Ben and Jen no no I I just I I just don't or like Kid Rock waving around a gun in a reported interview this week oh he's a nut job did what never in the amount of interviews I've conducted over my entire life which is a lot have I ever had anybody wielded a gun that that and wave it because they were unhappy during an interview yeah when was the last time Kid Rock actually had a hit record I don't know I mean I mean Kid Rock is he an also ran really probably feels he's got to do this go Governor actually signed it to remove any reference to climate change how why because they don't so my my comment back on it was okay like why take the time for that who cares because it it have thought was okay then why doesn't the Massachusetts legislature pass a bill that say that says it's going to be 72 and sunny every day in Massachusetts I like it can we do that we're manifesting representative Diggs or or or whoever can you can you propose that 72 in sunny in Massachusetts every day let's go we're manifesting it through legislation we can be the East Coast version of San
