saraphina and I were in a entrepreneurial book club where Stephanie never read the right book and Stephanie was terrible at this book I really Su at book club I did not fabulous I'm what I just had a visual just had a visual proud of it oh it's your day did you know it is it no the our little Studio visitor over there it's International cat day oh yes yes it is poor thing I had Matt pen in the studio yesterday and he was started to well up I'm like oh my God you're allergic I forgot get out of here get out of here hi everybody we are here in the studio and that is 100% my fault well that's okay Hank has pans on I know he was very excited I know Chris ball over at masb TV was ready he said tell your co-host with the pants on I was ready but we weren't ready yeah it just didn't it didn't happen so next week yeah right exactly that's it I've just got to prepare for it uh why I mean I mean it's not that you're not doing anything or doing nothing well you are busy otherwise I'm working on it I'm trying my very best I'll tell you that right right now not sure exactly why this is not working to Twitter I paid I paid Elon Musk against my better judgment to make this work what do you mean you paid him you had to pay to go on Twitter you have to pay now to go on Twitter if you want to stream on Twitter oh okay he's got a lot of problems right now yeah he really does he's he's stepping in it all over the place my problems this morning started with my UK thing that I have to do and they they're basically they're riots so there's a lot of drama going on over there yeah and and it's I'm not entirely familiar with it but apparently from what I understand the whole thing started because of really some kind of misinformation yeah that's what it boils down to and there's nothing to actually be worried about but there are like little pockets of riots you Elon over there suing people fighting with people I think he's currently got like four lawsuits out there right now he's fighting with his with his daughter he's fighting with Prime Ministers right suing governments he's suing advertisers who said they'd advertised with him and didn't and then next week he's interviewing the other guy right I mean all right jarth seriously hello hi really do I want to look at that at this time of the morning the international cat day and he's like I will not be ignored get sir well welcome to Thursday everybody if it could go wrong it's going to happen Mercury is in retrograde it must be it must be where's where's where's darl Martini the cosmic muffin when you need him supposedly I'm one of the signs that wasn't supposed to be truly extra affected by this oh all right my husband is definitely affected we had an incident yesterday oh you did you didn't find him in the shower with somebody did you no it's very private in his bathroom time oh okay he has like double padlocks in there because there was an incident earlier in the week never mind it was a lot yeah I saw enough yeah she found somebody else in never mind so one of my my neighbors got to fully view my husband in fullon meltdown mode yesterday that was that was great the poor guy was just out there gardening uhhuh having a quiet little moment just Ricki exactly and I get you better come downstairs because I'm gonna start throwing things all around the driveway okay so I calmly walked downstairs and our garage is the bane of our existence there's like three businesses being run out of the disorganization and Chaos that goes on in there right and so um he couldn't find a certain thing so he's looking for this set of microphones can't find it having like his little usual meltdown when it comes to where where things he put are not there anymore but the thing is he's the one who put it there oh so I can't In the Heat of the Moment just be like um where'd you put it yeah exactly so I said remember how yesterday you were mad at me and I'm saying it just like very matter of fact I had no idea my neighbor was like right there I said remember how yesterday you were mad at me because all it is you're the only one who unloads the cars and you're the only one who brings this in but then today I'm supposed to believe that I'm responsible for all the things that You' brought in that I don't know where they are and she was just like slamming things around found what he needed and went on by this day and then I look over and there's my neighbor like slinking in behind the bush I didn't see that like doing a Homer Simpson like I did not just deal with any of that I mean there was no yelling it was just me being a jerk right on back to him as he was having an absolute meltdown for all public to view so that was good was perfect fullon Wednesday this is how the day started so it it happens it happens to the best of us right our question of the day are you early are you on time are you late how is it that you normally like to get to things I'm a mix of all of it it really depends on the event yeah and how much time I need to be there right I'll push it right up to the edge if I know I don't really have to go too far and then I'm like oh I definitely grossly underestimated the amount of time that I need right and then if I know I've got to be somewhere like on a boat that departs I'm hours early oh I have to be hours early at the airport I leave that in the hands of our good friend Michael Anthony very capable as he is Michael what do you think because I don't really care you're the one driving here and you're the one who knows the roads tell me when I have I don't care what time I wake up you're driving anyway exactly tell me when to leave because I need that person in my life that's going to show up and take me away right thank you very much couple of weeks all of a sudden puberty comes back I don't know are you doing any school shopping are we entertaining that conversation yet where we're like What do we what do we need what are we planning what's happening not not yet I did discover I I we have some books on our on our coffee table and makes look like we're learning or something and there was this book that I was reading that I kind of put aside and I saw it the other day and I said you know I really got to finish this thing and I took it out and I opened it to the page where I had stopped reading and I was using as a a bookmark a $100 gift card oh oh to to Old Navy so I said to Megan you never guess what I found it must have been from either Christmas probably Christmas or or Mariana's birthday or something and it was just I just took it and I said I'll put it here so we'll know where it is and then we all forgot where it was right even though you had been using it but that's great right surprise surprise you get a $100 to go school shopping I love when that happens when you hide things from yourselves but you don't know that you've done it right I find I find things all the time oh really that's where I put it I've ended up now maybe look may not look all that great but I've decided now I have to put everything on the mantle at the fire place okay wallet glasses Keys yeah I find that if you've got one spot right because well I think I have one spot but then it never seems to be where I like Cliff never seems to be where I think it is so I've started putting it there and and so far I've been allowed to but at some point I'm just afraid mari's gonna say you know we've got company coming get rid of it and I'll put it somewhere and then I'm never going that's it never again it's gone into the wind right I did not go yesterday and I still lost my watch for a couple of hours whoopsies couldn't find it didn't know where it went I'm asking the phone would you ping my watch you know don't even I can't find it don't think it's in the it was on the couch under a pillow I mean but like Step Brothers over here putting pillows in ovens if we don't know why he's doing these things good morning Michael Anthony we're your ears ringing because we just talking about you it is Thursday we are one day before the weekend that brings us taxfree shopping is anybody out there planning or plotting any shopping of any sort that is a you know we need to because I need tiet items because I need a new computer oh that's actually a good one and because Mariana really needs a better computer because she's going to seventh grade now and oh that was the other thing we had fun trying to do yesterday trying to sign her on to her school account so she could start her summer it is the worst summer math summer math we went round and round and round finally she said let me just start a new account is you so she said so started a new account in me and I got part of the way in and I'm not even a student but I got part of the way in and like come on guys we did our best we tried that that power school I I just stopped I just stopped that's what it is it's power school it's insane yeah it's irritating it really is yeah we got sent to password and the whatever and she's putting it in and putting it in and putting it in and nothing you don't exist the password doesn't exist uhuh your school doesn't exist yep we don't know you we don't know you like wait what it's like what we have yet to go through that for the start of the year but I'm sure my son is pretty good about stuff like that um but getting me on there forget it I'll I'll never know my husband checks it because he's got the app or whatever and he's the one that's the technology person I was said can you just check in on grades can you just check in in his grades and my favorite is oh they didn't correct anything yet oh they were like a month behind all lies all lies kids tell you when I can't even believe we're having this conversation already but we are weeks away I have orientation with Lily next week wow and then um and then it's like a week and a half she has yet to really even start shopping or planning anything doesn't seem all that concerned by it yeah she'll just she yeah she's just one of those person that Waits until the very last day and then she's like by the way I need $3,000 worth of items can you buy those for me today well it's not like she's going to the desert I mean Salem is a real place corre with real stores and whatever she needs she can yeah borrow the money from you guys to get it yeah exactly would you put x amount of dollars in my account please well luckily she saved up all of her dollars this summer and she's got her own account so good hopefully uh we won't just Rifle right through that like a drunken sailor she'll feel like she's so rich and then she just won't be by Christmas right and then it's gonna be like Mom so yeah we'll have to see she's got a lot of planning to do and I'm I'm excited for her to start this new chapter of her life but I also wish you would just do a little bit more planning yeah so yeah maybe we're gonna have to get that laptop it's going to be a busy weekend for shopping we're gonna be over at the sidewalk sale party yeah that is happening at mashby comments I've got a ton of gift cards to give away on Saturday on Saturday aturday we're going to be doing like throughout the day to various stores throughout the mash B Commons so that'll be fun and that happens there Saturday and Sunday Sunday we've got our farmers market and thank goodness the weather's going to be good I I was looking at the forecast and going this may be the first cancellation it was looking it was looking shaky yeah and I think the store seems to be going this way not this way yeah well we'll we'll keep an eye on it as long as it's not like wind driven rain if it's a little sprinkly we can handle that but like full on downpour it was windy a little windy on Sunday yes it was and some of the vendors were like holding on to their tents to keep them from from blowing away well especially the ones with the glass wear I'm like guys I cannot clean this up good morning Dave hegner how are you today I hope you're having a good one yeah we are also got the word yesterday that we're teaming up with the King Richard's Fair all next week we passes to King Richard's Fair at every single one of our trivas and then we'll have a bonus one for our weekly prize so that'll be exciting to give away haven't been there in a long time well maybe you're gonna have to dust off your rent outfits okay and get it together I know that I've got to plan one because Carnival is coming P toown has their Carnival this year and it's uh ra I I think renissance Revolution some sort of mix of this I have no idea what I'm going to be wearing I feel like there's going to be a lot of of channeling Beyonce happening um but I feel like it is going to be similar to something that I would wear at King Richard's Fair so we'll have to see good morning Cindy oh where where are you working this morning you're retired you're not supposed to be working hey I'm retired I'm not supposed to be working either and here we are all here I am I saw interest rates dropped working in the in the midst of everyone wooding their pants the uh the stock market interest rates dropped well there's some interesting conversations happening about the stock market and it um the new guy that was just put up next to kamla yes he has no stock at all he has no stocks he's just a normal guy he's a retired teacher coach balts as is his wife I think she still teachers their Investments are primarily it's the teachers retirement program but then that was the conversation that by the way Steve Martin is on the short list to play him on um you know they love their political people and they've already got my Rudolph so I'm I'm excited to see who they're going to cast in this space so that was the conversation he has no stocks and then it went further with 49% of Americans do not own stock so I feel a lot better right right so when the stock market goes crazy and everyone starts wooding their pants it doesn't impact directly half of us don't know what that means half of us and and those of us who do have stock well it's in if we're lucky enough to have an Investment Portfolio we've got a little stock in there but I I mean we've got a little Investment Portfolio we don't know what we have in stock I mean I just look at the statement when it comes you know first of the month okay we made a little money this this month oops we didn't make a little money last month and then I just put it aside it's glorified gambling it is I'll leave it to the people that are professionals at that because it just stresses me out and I can't it is I still have like my first communion money I'm like so I I'm terrible I'm the person that you take to the casino and I'm like just give me my 20 bucks right that's it when it's gone it's gone we we usually do 50 maybe a 100 and then we're that's I get stressed out that's why I'm like oh it's so expensive yeah I'm not cheap I just don't like frivolously spending money it freaks me out right oh the dentist conservation land trust look at you you do so many wonderful things we thank you we've got a habitat for Humanity booked on the show we've got a very busy week next week too that's good lots of in studio guests and um we between comedy and some nonprofits to some old familiar faces that we haven't seen in a while I feel like it's we're we're dusting it off and getting ready to hit the school year hard so it's fun right it's only a loss if you sell it for less than you bought it well thank you Dave I don't even know what that means I have like these play little free stocks that I get from um I forget what app it is stash uhhuh so every Wednesday it's like free stocks and they give you like 11 cents of a stock oh really so you've got a little something in the stock like oh yeah yeah right it's like seven bucks right from all of my free 11 senses all add up but the one that I got like three years ago when I started this stupid account was one of the Tesla ones or the Apple or Google or one of them it's now up to like three whole dollars you guys wow I know calm down yeah don't worry i' got plenty to plenty to retire on so fun I don't even know what to make of this world anymore I was having this great conversation with my friends uh Don and will and uh we were just like we we don't even know what what to do they're restaurant owners and they were just talking about food prices and then they were talking about busy times and when is it going to bottom out or when are people you know worried and then I have people that are are saying oh my business is so slow and then I have people that are saying wow we're slammed and busier than ever right like it's kind of all over the place yeah I saw a piece I think I was reading it this morning um about how how people you know got all upset that um you know McDonald's is losing money and somebody else is losing money but Chipotle is up 18% yeah it's weird and and door Dash is making money hand over fist so you're right it's kind of like nobody knows what to make Noti what to do people are spending people are being more strategic maybe about how they're spending their money I think that people are deciding what that is the most important thing to them and then just doing that and that's not quantifiable data we're used to calculating no everyone's like what is happening right I mean we we occasionally go to Wendy's because there's a Wendy's not far from from from where we are and I'm always shocked you know two cheeseburgers fries and a and a and a drink it's like 25 bucks right what I know that's not the Wendy's McDonald's that I no so you might as well get the food that you really like exactly why be in a rush right right why spend 25 bucks for a couple of cheeseburgers a couple of fries and a soda what you can take that 25 bucks and go someplace better I get guess yeah I mean honestly just or foodwise I think we're actually looking at our health right now I'm glad that you're here Sue Sue and uh has been working on a fundra rer for patients helping patients and it's a new nonprofit um that is out of my doctor's office who I love over there um at Veritas they're fabulous but um it's basically just so that you start taking care of your general stuff you know what I mean making sure you get that lab work that you maybe wouldn't have gotten or maybe you're working on your nutrition or maybe you're trying to be a little bit better so that eventually you don't have to have the big problems right you're dealing with the little problems here and there on the way out so sue has been working on that fundraiser and uh I'm really excited to be able to play some tunes we're going to meet over at barnable Brewing I will put all of that information up so if people are interested in maybe taking a little bit better care of themselves but also helping other people do exactly the same that can't necessarily afford it I think it's fabulous there you go September 21st burnable Brewing 5 to8 there you go Mariana had lab work done for the first time this week oh how was that um I guess she kind of freaked because of the blood well no I think because of the ne because of the needle yeah she freaked before and then once it started she was like oh okay that's all yeah you know but just that first well she's 12 so this is the first time that that you know she had anything you know like this done because she's at that age and I got to check stuff now yeah um yeah but I guess it was a little it was a little freaky when my two little ones are pretty were really great about that pretty stoic with shots pretty good about getting their blood taken they were great it was uh my oldest Miss Miss Ken's not good with anything just not I we we had 14 dentists I mean just nothing she sensitive she very sensitive very sensitive okay exactly but you got to find the right people for them you know right it's not always easy to do definitely not so I heard uh everybody's trying to eat better we're trying to eat more more shellfish fish and then we've got oyster problems here on the cape everybody oh we do the lwis bay oysters have been recalled they're not good apparently we've got some situation oh some bacteria oh I don't know those damn bacteria again screwing up our ponds screwing up our oysters for some reason I just when we think of oysters we think of weal leet oysters right we think of this one that one the other one no Louis Bay doesn't creep into my mind no no it doesn't at all I don't I don't no I don't think that and I'm not being rude about it I'm sure it's fine and it's just those things that happen with the ocean the E and flow of whatever is happening maybe it's the freaking debris that's falling out from all the wind windmill broken stuff which is starting to wash up on all of our beaches I've been I've been watching the the the clearw beach pages and you know when they had the storm go through that was God seaweed and it came up on the beach and people are people are posting we're coming in vacation we're coming on vacation in two weeks we the seaweed be and I just want to throw my phone yes yes it will yeah it will probably gone already because the water's going to come in and the water's going to take it out and and people are writing I'm sitting on the beach right now it's gorgeous what's your problem oh my God Mari says you can probably buy a nice glass of wine you're not wrong Miss you're not what for $25 yeah oh yeah we like the good stuff right and yeah you're not wrong 25 bucks or a glass of wine is about average when dining out around town for sure right at the more higher end restaurants oh there's some woman that's got this great Tik Tok that is viral just mocking restaurant owners in general here on the cape whatever fish and Clam Shack she pretends to work at but it's very it's just absolutely funny the way that she addresses restaurant work especially here in the summertime on the cape oh it's insane I wouldn't I wouldn't work here I mean I I I've never worked in the restaurant business I know a lot a lot about the restaurant business because of mari's family I would never work in the restaurant business people are just rude I'm going to rewind to the conversation that we were just having about my restaurant owner friends and she had someone that was demanding you email me back for a party in December oh this was yesterday she got an email demanding that you call me back or I'm going to go somewhere else bye right okay bye do you not understand it's summertime on capc con and we are flipping busy like so busy December seems so so far away but if it needs to be an immediate deed that needs to be addressed why don't you come on into the restaurant and have a conversation insteading sending an email that says the words I demand you call me tomorrow or else wow or or else what you're going to go somewhere else sounds right sounds great sign her up for that package right what and the where do we stop learning how to talk to people when when did we decide we were all so self-important I mean guys we all think we're important I mean and have you ever in your life sent an email that says I demand you do this for me never and her name is Karen no no oh so so is your restaurant owner friend even going to respond I think she did politely yeah CU what else are you gonna do but I was just like that's not real she's like oh but it's real yeah and you know what if she didn't respond then this person would go on one of the restaurant review pages and say you know I reached out to whatever the restaurant 100% you know to finally some of these pages though some of these town PES are clapping back and saying uhuh no this is not being addressed no you're not you're not going to be saying this unless you give us the full story because there's always the other side of stories I've seen on some of the restaurant pages and I'm still trying to gather this show together to just have people come out but it's too busy in the season right now for our restaurant people I have to wait until after the season then we can have a real conversation yeah I know I believe she she listens sometimes um to the woman who runs sandwich scoop yeah um Stacy Stacy yeah I'd love to have her come on I would love that um Stacy if you're out there give us a you know say something in the chat oh you can't because you're not you can't and Mari even says I think that that's Tara's daughter that does that Tik Tok oh so you know the person it's perfect all right she's great there is another tick tocker from Dartmouth that got National recognition because he was mocking being a bartender uh at a restaurant uh the I I forget what it was the Rose Alley in New for uhuh um just just mocking mocking old timey right he he's the one that always pretends to be the one aunt at a cookout oh okay that's always the problem or he mocks his mother and how she behaves at cookouts it's just he's very very funny um I did see a study that said just seven minutes on Tik Tok is detrimental to your me mental health seven like eight M no eight minutes on Tik Tok NE bring begins you to have negative consequences eight minutes eight minutes that's all it takes wow that's that's not a long time no no it depends on what you're watching though I find a lot of great information there right my my kids listen to stories on Tik Tok with that robot voice it makes me absolutely crazy yeah yeah everything is narrated by a robot and it makes me insane right there's all kinds I mean we have a um someone our our our uh transaction coordinator in our office she loves cats she's forever showing me videos from Tik Tok about cats that's it that's how they talk to you now you know did you see this thing about the cats because we have cats and you know she loves cats and all of that and um I don't I don't think I well I mean I might stumble into stupidity if I watch too many cat videos but I can't see how that's harmful no no so yeah I guess it depends on the content that you're ingesting in those eight minutes while you're on Tik Tok you know what it's the same content you see on any social media page yeah watch it for eight minutes you're G to go cuckoo either that or you're just sucked in for the day you've lost a full hour and I don't even know what I had I'm I'm full on in brain rot mode right all right somebody locked him down here this must be the only reason why he has to be part of the show today oh really I'll be back hold on okay I'll sing to dream The Impossible Dream well folks how's your day going ours is off to a really wonderful start the uh cat is stuck down here and can't get out um see what else can I say what else is going on in the world today the Red Sox they they lost last night uh the Patriots have um first exhibition game this evening and interestingly enough when asked by reporters yesterday if he has spoken to coach belich since he took over new coach Gerard Mayo said no coach bellich hasn't called me oh like really you expected him to do are we expecting anything from this game tonight no does anybody even watch preseason I'm sure people are like getting into the thick of it like right well people are gonna watch it tonight because it's it's you know the Patriots and it's you know the whole new the whole new crew but no nobody expects anything nobody expects anything about the Patriots this year anyway maybe that's all you can afford though maybe this is the game that you can go and afford to see at Gillette St right well these are the tickets that people give away right you know the season ticket holders have to get the exhibition games so these are the ones that they give away and then if they're really having a bad year they'll eventually start giving away their season tickets we committed to a Pats game we bought tickets to a Pats game so I'm looking forward to it for you uh it'll be in Nashville um a lot cheaper to go actually watch the game in Nashville I saw somebody interviewed today yeah um Taylor Swift concerts in Virginia I me I mean Vienna were canceled because of apparent terrorist threat but one of the Boston TV stations was interviewing um a guy this morning who was in Vienna to see the Taylor Swift concert and he said it was cheaper to book a flight to Vienna get a hotel and buy a ticket than it was to go to jinton Seer yeah I believe it that's insane well not anymore because now he doesn't have tickets to see Taylor Swift and that was can but he's also happy that if there was a terrorist threat they canceled the show yeah I definitely agree didn't didn't want to be there and this is two of the people that they ended up um arresting apparently took jobs in the venue like three weeks ago that's freaky yeah this this this could have been a real one uh scary yep also um it was that was probably the place where I saw the most amount of protesting really when we were on our travels yeah was Vienna really yeah it was very vocal it was you know all of a sudden there was like a March going on or there was a group of people lots of signs picket signs um that that really Vienna well it's just a giant City and there's so many people right so many people of all different cont I was goingon to say from all over the place 100% and uh that's really where we saw the most of that kind of behavior right um you know my kids saw it for the first time when we visited our nation's capital two years ago where they saw people just practicing what they want to say out in public and it was a little bit jarring to them so by the time this had happened it was just normal to them being in a big city like that that this is in fact what people do is make demonstrations uh but it was just we found that in Vienna was the place where we saw the most of it on our travels uh so I kind of when I saw this I wasn't super shocked that that was something that escalated right right because it seemed like it was already escalating right and this was back in June so it's unfortunate but yeah cheaper I I had friends that went to Portugal to see Taylor Swift I had friends that have gone all over the the UK and other because it was cheaper right then staying here stat side right plus you get to take a little vacation in Europe yeah right not bad check a couple boxes Mari said that's on her bucket list to go see a game outside of Massachusetts okay hey I'm going down to Nashville right people will watch some early Drake maybe action tonight maybe maybe I think that people are just excited to have a new season of something I think baseball gets really boring and especially August it gets like I be you pardon it's boring no boring no even an up I guess you don't watch baseball in the months that end with ER if you're a Red Sox fan so no I'm I'm there's 50 games left and they are many games they are um I think they were a game out of the uh third playoff spot so and they're really fun to watch they really are I'm a huge baseball fan guys I I can't I can't help it and I won't apologize for it either I like it in person because I feel like it moves along and then there's stuff to do and snacks to get people to watch on TV it's less than for me it's like kind of watching tennis I think that that's why most people like to go to those matches the rules changes now game can be over in two hours and 10 minutes yeah right like so so it's not it's not sucking up your time all night I can handle that yeah I saw that Nelly was arrested what did he do um drugs he had a bunch of ecstasy on him oh gee that's a stunner he's supposed to be a new D he's old like oh I know he is but like it was absolutely shocking to me because I thought like they're expecting new babies and here he is arrested I don't know what that's going to bring but talk about rappers we were talking the other day about um Snoop Dog uhuh and I I have noticed since that there were all kinds of articles about people being offended by his by his interaction with Martha Stewart why well it just they don't think it's appropriate and she's old and he's younger and isn't he married and isn't she like friends they're having fun they're goofing right they're goofing and he has been married to the same woman for almost yeah exactly I mean she's been patient with him cuz he's screwed up a lot and there has been some and one of the articles I read there was a suggestion that maybe she screwed up in retaliation so they've got something on each other maybe um but she's kind of running the show yeah she's letting him go out and be the Snoop Dog and and she's a business lady yeah she's she's counting the pennies absolutely she knows what's going on go out there dance dance for everybody babe right we got this to take care of they've got a very healthy relationship as far as I'm concerned and they let each other do what they want to do yeah I love his like motivational stuff for his grandkids like he's actually a doting Grandpa yeah it's very very cute um and I I think that they connect in certain ways so that doesn't bother me at all I think people just have something to complain about they're going to complain about it oh yeah just the the times in which we live in that's right that's what we've got um there was a story about an Idaho mom today that I wanted to talk about because she was banned from a certain section of the library because she had her baby with her what it was an 18 plus section of the library more inappropriate books I mean it's not RAC so the baby was library and the baby was around an adult section the so they wouldn't let her into the section to look the books and I was just like that's that's the hill you die on that's the fight you're going to have with taking a baby like the baby is gonna absorb something it's a baby it can't read correct that was the best part about having kids under four is you could tell them whatever you want they to know what is wrong with people that is I do understand adhering to the rules and I do understand when you allow something that there's a slippery SL because this one saw this and this one saw that and where's the line and where is the age line but it is a fresh out the womb baby and mom wanted some reading materials which I was impressed that she could even muster any sort of energy whatever open yeah let alone want to be reading so I just found it so just dumb we need to celebrate people setting foot and using our libraries right all and where was it Idaho yeah Idaho okay maybe that explains it I don't know I don't know what they do in Middle America I I mean that's really kind of almost West Coast even right I I just don't understand the mentality of why that is such a problem I do once again understand rules and you can't be breaking rules but that's a rule that I find really silly right just like I find really silly and I know they have to do it but I think it's really silly I go up to get a beer can I see your ID please I know like come on I know you have to ask they well they do and they have to keep it because it's not discriminatory they they have to be consistent right just in case I look I'm I'm really 19 it's the same thing that we talked about the other day about having the pond being walkable right it's it's you have to be consistent and you have to be um Equitable for all right I get it but some of them really look at it I mean it's once thing CR ID and if pull it out of my wallet and they you know kind of like obviously but some people act have actually taken it out of my hand to check my birth date are you Han already had the third anniversary of his drinking age leave him alone are you kidding me too funny it's it's it's it's like again I know the rules of the rules and you force them but you can do it sensibly got my eye on you right now you were wearing that badge of honor for a while I think you were pretty proud of having your 21 plus I I know look at me look at me I'm I'm old enough I'm over 21 yeah I finally had to take it off was I wore too many times in the shower and it was just disintegrating so it's too bad we we'll get you another one of those I'll have to get another one this weekend perfect y I saw that um they are making another Aaron Hernandez story oh no why it's done by Ryan Murphy I'm not quite sure why it is something that we needed to do is there anything new there I don't think that there's anything new I think that they're just cinematographically doing it different Ryan Ryan is really really good at what he does he does all the American Horror Stories I'm sure he's going to put a spin on it that you're like wow and jarring and shocking and he's not afraid of horror and and guts and shock so uh I won't be surprised by anything he puts out but is it something that we needed I feel like we we have enough of it we know the story we've seen it all right maybe his wife will get some money or residuals off of this story uh I don't know but I'm still shocked by it that that was like real life and it was part of something that we live through I I'm very shocked the last 20 years of all the things that we've been part of life of right and and that was and that was shocking and how he managed to have such a totally different life that nobody picked up on nobody right you would think that you can't do that now given the parameters of all the social media you would think you couldn't have done it back then right he was very recognizable everybody knew who he was but maybe in plain sight you don't look at those things yeah maybe you don't think it's him like we were talking about the other day about the kids sitting next to you know MC Jagger at the um at the Olympics yeah right you know not you're wouldn't even would didn't even registered not suspicious yeah or you see somebody and you go that's not F Jager that's stupid he's not sitting there all by himself and there he was just enjoying his day you had something about um how do you know that you're not drinking enough water and I feel like I would I would like to know those informational you're like know those things well yeah just because uh yeah last night I had like a bucket size gallon of water because I feel like I haven't been watching my water intake I feel very dry I was just curious I because I was always told that once you feel like you're parched that it's too late you've waited too long geez well I mean some I mean what's up Dave thanks for joining us some of the things are if if you feel dizzy for example it probably means you may not be taking in enough water if you feel parched you may not be Tak in enough water luckily we've had the reprieve from the humidity so we got a little bit of a break thank you Debbie okay I got I got to find the rest of this you could you you'll be great might get you motivated it seems it seems like the answer to the world's problems is is water and then there's this one heart palpitations that's actually scary yeah that is I'm having heart palpitations I'm gonna have a drink of drink of water um yeah it's it's pretty much anything if you're not feeling right go have a drink of water okay I don't think that that's going to solve all the world's problems but no no hey there's a bunch you know there's a couple of new we do the uh countdown of the top movies of the week on on Thursdays on yeah on lunch break and there are two new movies out one of which I'm very excited about Harold and the Purple Crayon a that was a good book yes it's out as a movie now and Mariana has already asked me if I would take her to see it I don't have little people to go I'll go with you can I go sure can I tag along sure you can thanks Dad I want to go to the movies right and when she asked me she she said Papa can I ask you something and immediately I go oh God I don't thinking of myself I don't answer these questions yeah that's a loaded question go ask your mother go ask your grandmother stuff you don't want to hear what she said to me would you take me to go see Harold on the Purple Crayon and I was yes of course I'd love to to honey I might have been a little more enthusiastic than I should have been but part of it was just the relief that I didn't get asked one of those questions that's awesome take you to the movies Honey great anytime right 100% dodg on that one she she's she's 12 so I don't know there's nothing off the table at that age oh no so really you do have to be prepped for pretty much anything and I'll take a purple crayon any day yeah and my answer is you know what you really need to talk about there with your mother or your grandmother Victoria says there's no magic pill water won't solve The World's problems not one thing I know I know the answer honey but it's probably better coming from your mother or your grandmother yeah oh 100 per. so weird news is we talked about the eagle that stole the airport manager's wallet uh on N Tucket earlier on in the week it is now made national news can you hear that hum yeah what is it it's it's the hum it's fine it's not on the air are you sure yes okay I never heard I have never heard this hum before happens every show every show I've never know I've never noticed it it's my water heater happens every show like clockwork oh okay all right no Hank I hear nothing something might be wrong with you I need to GL some water drink your water okay I'll have my coffee instead there's water in it apparently so the uh seagull that stole the airport manager's wallet was national news and it made me laugh just a little bit we had had it on the show and he said he he it mugged me he said it literally mugged me they put a little wanted poster up at the uh at the airport with the seagull oh that's everybody absolutely had so much fun at his expense right did he ever find his wallet I don't think the wallet has been found I know where that seagull went with the wallet but he was definitely mugged by it and it made national news which also made me laugh and it's not the only animal that was making national news apparently some really cute dor Mouse shut down the entire airport in Germany they're chewing through all the wires and no one could figure out why they had no electricity and then it became a security problem and it was just a couple of mice y That's it doing their mice thing these are the fun weird new Stories We like to talk about things that are beyond your control animal related they've just decided like having a cat jump on your desk today and not wanting to leave by the way the door was wide open he could have come and go well maybe he just wanted to be here he knew his National Cat Day right and and he just wanted to let everyone know he wasn't leaving not having it we are out tonight we have uh visual trivia going on at Ryan's which is at the tenpin eery in hyenas you joined us there last great little spot tons of bar what I love about it is the kids can run a muck yes and moms and dads can just kind of relax enjoy your food play a little trivia feel like a grownup while the kids get to do their own thing which is nice yeah this would Brian's and and t pin Eatery is such a success story because you and I both remember when it was first proposed for the mall yeah it was universally poo pooed yeah what a silly idea people aren't going to go this is dumb sometimes it's the only reason why people are in the mall true story there's a lot of kids entertainment complexes that are going into our malls because it's space that's already there right so they're utilizing these bigger spaces that um have the parking in the infrastructure that's already ready for them all the all the trampoline trampoline places like Sky Zone up in U up in Plymouth and there's another one too Kingston mall Kingston mall that's right um there's one in Rhode Island as well but there's like a few other kid oriented big play area things right level what is it area level 99 or something like that that's another one it's like a very instagrammable game thing that's in a couple like the natic mall and something like that where it's just like super fun for older kids so yeah they're utilizing these spaces and it's a great space for you to come and just relax and enjoy it and they've got like the baby play area outside so I always enjoy looking at the little ones right and then being near a bar so that's cute give me thank you give me another beer that's it we're good glad glad mine aren't that young anymore give me a shot and then clip is gonna be doing trivia over at Cap Cod beard tonight so buckle up everybody it's G to be a good time out this evening and we're going on a whale Wash this afternoon how fun is that yeah we go we go every year and it's one of those things that that's on the checklist and we've been looking for a looking for a free date for for the three of us and just you know comes to be the comes to be the day we don't think it's going to be too choppy um you should be all right that's all right we're going out of U going out of Plymouth so Captain John's Captain John all right there was a lot there did I see a couple they do a really good job of social media the heck out of what's going on there are whales everywhere it's a good spot you can go check out a bunch of new restaurants that are on Main Street also oh yeah oh we we love pth it's like being a tourist in your own town America's Hometown that's right that's right oh no it's fun and we'll find you know obviously we'll find some place to eat we always do and it's crunch time for this summer I always feel like the last few weeks of the summer it's like what do we have to get done or what do we want to get done or what can we focus on so that we can feel like we did something this summer right it's like the rush to the end yeah before everybody goes back to school and gets back into their fall things I know EX exactly what you mean Mariana has Camp one more week of Camp next week Victoria still got her go girl Camp going on and I love all the social postings that you're sharing the girls look like they're having so much fun she did um a day outing to that Splash place which I haven't been to yet oh really it's in Sandwich where they basically just like Splash neon paint all over each other and like oh oh yes in the dark Mariana did that with with with one of her cousins it's a total blast right they dress some up these white like like all I can think of is Oompa Loompas remember the Wily Wonka where they wear those Mike TV suits yeah yeah oh no they they put them in this big white outfit with a hood and everything and then they just go into this room and they play music and really they just slop it up toss paint around it's every kid an adult's dream yeah just get in there get messy throw paint around what is everybody doing their their last minute crunch Time Rushes I feel like I need to do so much and yet I have the energy to do zero right maybe I need more water could be he it's going to change my lease on life today I'm just gonna suck down some buckets of water and get out there and get get stuff done right I'm G feel good re-energized able there right now or that the some sort of wrestling show that is happening so oh geez looks interesting uhuh take pictures send it to me I'm busy wrestling is still a big deal well they had little people wrestling apparently on the Outer Cape yes that is happening this weekend I I I don't I don't know if I'm comfortable about that I'm so curious yeah let me know how that goes I mean the little people wrestling used to be I mean when I was when I was a kid and we go to the Boston Garden and we' see Bruno San Martino and everything there would often be just like as a comedy thing right a little people wrestling match and it was really kind of insulting but back then we didn't we didn't quite see it that way I thought that that was a term that was insulting but they are in fact calling it wrestling on the Outer Cape and I don't know if that's but don't they rather don't they like to be called Little People in I don't I don't know I am not up on the vernacular of what we're supposed to do all I know is that they build it as wrestling they're selling tickets for it one of my Facebook friends Monaco was like hey who's gonna go with this to me because I need to go and check it out I can't just leave this on the table and I appreciate you for being the reporter on the floor there and letting us know what's happening because I we can't be at all of the things I like knowing all of the things but I can't be at all of the things I've accepted that although I do have super fomo and I feel like I'm missing out on stuff which is why I'm constantly like a top and I don't know whether I'm coming or going um so that's happening there and we've got a little wrestling over here at the the barns County Fairgrounds for the the food truck festival I don't know how those two events correlate together but apparently they do okay get something to eat go watch the wrestling get something to eat after you through watching the wrestling maybe it's taxfree weekend I'm going to be shopping in the Mas commment that's where you'll find us yes do a lot of people actually buy stuff on taxfree weekend I think big ticket items right like you had said you needed a computer computer and um Lily needs a computer to go off to college with and I know that Grandpa is giving her a couple of funds other grandpa is throwing in on the the expensive computer because it's you know you get one for your collegiate career right yes make it last don't lose it right good luck to you right and and don't let don't let any of your doormates borrow away just don't please don't this is the time where they're going to she is going to be learning how to live with somebody else right I'm a little excited for it because I think that she does she know who her roommate is yet no no we'll find out next week okay so she'll she'll meet whoever it is and hopefully they they did a good job matching who knows yeah they often do I feel like at a bigger University like that there's going to be a lot more people in the pools so I think that she's going to be a little more amenable to meeting some new people right now what about the boyfriend he's going to Wentworth he's going to Wentworth they both move in on the same day okay they're really cute uhhuh I don't know if it's gonna who knows who knows I'm not invested in it I've seen enough the other PE people I want the j1s I have never seen the j1s are they gone no they're still here until September 1st I've never seen them that's bizarre to me all summer I have never I'm I'm in and out of here all the time right I've never seen them I tell you they're hard workers they've got like three jobs okay then maybe that's why I don't see them because they're always they're always working they're hustling but I but I expect to meet them well and I haven't maybe we'll throw them a going away party there you go right hi bye nice to meet you you you should have them come down and do a and do a show talk know they're working though their experiences in America and their own culture they're from Jamaica right yeah yeah so maybe I can have Cy and Tiffany come on the show they're very fun they're very funny um Cy was playing some like jamming music the other morning really it was like 5:00 and I Come Around the Corner dancing and she bursts out laughing didn't know I was there yeah so so when I get here in the morning are they already gone yeah wow yeah hardworking girls I'm telling you what and they're ready to go home they're they're very much missing home they're missing home food they're missing their space they're ready to go they were here a long time yeah now some of the other J ones you've had they've lived here and they've like taken a trip across the country are these are these girls just going right back home they're going right back home yeah they're not having their end of yeah end of J oness trip around the world oh okay they've got College they they saved up for it and now they're ready to go home do they keep in touch with their families and everything that you that you know of yeah they've got well I know she Cy and Tiffany have an aunt in Connecticut oh okay so they've got someone nearby but I mean they've not had a moment to stop down and even go see them which I think is Dad yeah so I was like maybe the last few days when you're not working I might you know I'll go visit my dad my dad's not far from where they're their aunt is so that would be nice yeah because I do enjoy them they're fun and funny we still talk to a lot of our other j1s and we follow everybody on Instagram right so we all know where everybody is which is nice it's like an extended F and they're all doing well yeah everybody's great super I know except for the Kazakhstan ones yeah yeah that didn't they didn't like us no that wasn't that know and and some of them worked at the was it a good match at the dunks I I I go to and even there it was like okay they unfollowed me on whatever um conversational piece that we were able to talk to each other on what is that what is that app that everybody has that you can talk to internationally oh what'sapp yes thank you yeah God Almighty I can't remember a darn thing today it is so close to the weekend and my brain is officially off thank God I have the day off tomorrow excellent right right I don't know what I'm going to do but it might be just stare at a wall I re-entered Game of Thrones because there's nothing to watch on TV and I don't know why but it's it's it's long well it's going to be a nice day tomorrow you could go to the beach that's conveniently close to this to this property I won't go in the water though okay but just lie in the lie in the sand just just hang out I can handle it what's up Gloria tell Hank oh I'm not saying that but it didn't work out but it looks cool disaster no they take people's heads off they have that's true I have to you have to remind me every time I get up at the end of the shift that's a September project yeah right don't walk into that cuz the light blinds you yes and and they're dark you know and they're just kind of there like I said they look cool it looks like stuff's going on this is a professional operation and currently lunch break is on the way and we are talking movies yep Harold in the Purple Crayon and then whatever else is on the list of things to talk about there there's two there's two maybe three new movies this week all right that are that are in the list and the reason why we do it on Thursday is that Thursday is the second most important date night unoficial date Night official day night because on Thursday you're auditioning to get to Saturday all right so you have to impress on Thursday which is why we talk about the top movies so you won't take someone to a movie and have it not work and have them say okay well not this person I just find going to a movie very weird to go on a date with especially early on in a relationship because all you're doing is sitting next to them not talking right but if it's not working out you don't have to talk to them that's true you know you can just kind of sit there and then the movie's over and that's you quietly quit a relationship take them to the movies all the time that's right there's no time for this relationship you know someone doesn't have to go in the bathroom and you know crawl out the window or something has that ever happened in real life has that ever happened happens in the movies all the time apparently you left a date just by leaving like getting up and going somewhere bye peace out right right I'll be right back and then you never come back I know it's been a while I'm about to have my 21st anniversary of being married so it's one time right tell me about it my baby brother brother's birthday was yesterday I got to tease him just a little bit on social media and how old was he uh 32 his birthday party invitation said 30 and I was like not just 30 he's a liar he doesn't want to be in that but yeah I was like literally I I was the first person to watch him take his first breath uhhuh wow I don't know why I was in that room whose idea that was but that was absolutely wow disgusting to see your mom's inner guts being pulled out of her while she's having an emergency SE section they thought I would be the one to go in there wherever the hell my dad was at that point in time I was like really this is me it's all me it's all me I have to do this gross oh watching them take my mother's organs out and lay them on her while they're pulling out a baby and I'm like I am never having kids well Mar wasn't scary enough Mari had a C-section so of course I was in the I was in the room and unfortunately for Mari she's she's lying on the table to getting ready to take her you know it's traumatic do whatever really have to do and and this one nurse goes over and go Mari Mari Shera do you remember me I'm Mrs so and so I Was Your Girl Scout leader why does this happen this similar situation happened in all of my births oh really all of my births something very similar Mari we share a lot in common yes and this is not the time you want to have a conversations while your ineds are out no no and then she's all everything's out and Megan's out and everything's cool and mari's saying I don't feel good oh my God I don't feel good and I think the same nurse says just wait a minute honey we're putting a uterus back in you'll feel better in a minute I almost hit the floor good god oh it was something thank God I never had to have one of those that's terrifying and
