saraphina and I were in a entrepreneurial book club where Stephanie never read the right book and Stephanie was terrible at this book club I really suo at Club I did not fabulous I'm what I just had a visual just had a visual proud of it hold on here we are Hank hello happy fourth everybody working on a holiday look at us I know it who could ask for anything more we're so dedicated to you just so dedicated to you I woke up this morning I was like why did I say yes to this but you know you're the one who said yes I said what do you think about Thursday and you went yeah okay I'm working the whole day anyway so it's totally fine by me I mean we've been away so I'm all right hi Cindy so where are you working today I I I've been dedicated to the town of Sandwich lately I don't know what it is but we have got our uh picnic today it is such a fun day in Sandwich they really go all out they start the day with a 5k then they roll over to family activities and that is an egg toss so every year I I sit there on the microphone and we we got pretty far last year I don't know whether it was like cold or the eggs were cold or what or whatever happened they rolled that that field was very forgiving to the egg tossers so we do that and then the fire department comes out and they call it their B Brigade drill or whatever it is but basically they let loose with all of the hoses that's really fun and it is like full on foam the kids get to just run around it's like the best Slip and Slide amazing day that they have every single year so there are things happening in Sandwich yeah you wouldn't know looking at Social because the only thing on social is why the beach is oh oh this is one of this is one of the things that I don't like about social is that the same things keep coming around year after year and a different group of people discover them you feel like it's the complainers I guess it's the sandwich has been closing the beaches for eight years as as as a lot of communities have and you would think I don't know all those people who are complaining sorry folks that you can't go to the beach this year apparently you haven't gone in the last eight years and but towns do it all over the place I was watching the news this morning on WBZ they had a whole list of communities yeah that were closing their beaches for essentially the same reason because they just don't have the police to to go down there and babysit right all the people who who misbehave we're going over to fam with Heights later and canot shut that down if they wanted no for the fireworks but I'll tell you this we were there last year and the minute anybody started to misbehave they got a tap on the shoulder and and they were gone oh yeah and and Falmouth not only had their own police there were state troopers there I think there were you know people from the sheriff's department because there's a sheer amount of people they're not trying to scare anybody they just want you to know that you're safe also and just behave yeah when there's that amount of people I get a little angsty I don't know whether it's postco or what but it's it's just it gets me and it makes me feel a little bit better to have some you know rescue some other people around just cuz there's just a lot of people that don't know the area correct acting stupid because it even last night driving home yeah there were last night yeah did you see like random people pulled over to just doing stupid stuff stupid stupid things and you're like oh I need to get home it was 8:30 right we were at Holly Ridge last night and um Holly Ridge does a cookout burgers and hot dogs and everything and and you sit there and you wait for the fireworks at the ridge club and we were leaving in like I don't know 9:20 9:30 even trying get out of Holly Ridge the crazy things that people were doing to drive it was like what what are you doing I know traffic's going this way so they're G to try it it was nuts it was it was a bit of a mess on the road I was talking to one of the waitresses over at the sandwich sherna we had a great trivia night last night um but she had said it took her she lives in Plymouth she said it took me an hour to get to work today sorry I think the crazy was yesterday so I think if you're traveling today it should be better you're all here right right unless you're coming coming for the day and and again just just be aware of what beaches are open and what aren't what isn't open and what the restrictions are Cindy said drivers this year are insane not jobs I think there's some kind of a restriction on West Dennis beach too I I want to say I'm not sure I'm sure there are I'm not sure what it is it's it's locals only or or something I'm not I'm not sure but they're but they're really cracking down because the police don't have the time and it's one of their um it's David Samson who's a former sandwich San was saying on social it's one of the busiest days that they have yeah you know with emergency calls because Heavens knows what people do with their backyard cookouts they they they can't be hanging around the beach speaking of which if you've got backyard cookouts you got a pool you got a bunch of people coming over if you ever need a lifeguard For Hire I have one of those since my son was not old enough this year to work for the town um he's going to have to wait till next year they already said we're going to hire you next year you're very Johnny on the spot with all your paperwork certified Red Cross lifeguard For Hire so if you got a private party we've got a very fabulous rescue boy that is willing to work uh so we've got that available for you just in case yeah and and I I can vouch for him folks he's a great kid he'll save you he really is he's a he's a he's a great kid he's he's respectful he's he's he's friendly he's he's personable he's not a kid he's got that mad voice now I know he does has lower voice than I do sometimes when I turn around and I'm like why did you get so big why you so big and and you know even at those backyard cookouts you gota particularly if you've got a pool good Heavens pay attention to where everybody is I will tell you one cautionary tale and it was post Falmouth Road Race and we were at our friend's house and there were about 50 60 people there and it was when Cody and liil were in those like blow up little swimsuits you know the ones that are like the built-in life preserver with it kind of and we were sitting there and it was time to eat so I take their suits off and I'm feeding them pasta well after you know they're eating and we're talking he decided to just plop into the pool I did not hear him fall in the pool wow and Paul Crosby shout out to you Paul Crosby heard it from across the H he literally Dove from a second story window wow into his um pool and scooped Co up with my husband both of them kind of heard at the same time right dove in and he dropped Like a Rock to the bottom of their pool and nobody heard but those two men and they both went in clothes phones everything I mean he was fine it was just one of those very scary moments because it was for me felt way too long for someone not to notice a child slip into the water like that and this is the time it's noisy it's loud and people are not paying attention to every little ounce of kid right last night Holly Ridge um right before the fireworks started someone on the staff comes walking through the crowd I've got I forget the girl's name she's looking for her parents Kevin and Susan or whatever and she's walking through the crowd and then all of a sudden just in in in front of us this guy with a beer stands up and goes what what clearly Wasing there were like four kids on the on the on the on the blanket and there were like three kids on the blanket and there should have been four and this girl couldn't have been any more than six years old oh that just scares me yeah please watch out put the GD beer down and count your kids please count your kids happy Fourth of July day have your beer yeah right it's just one they get away they really they kids so please uh yeah nobody needs the glattus kravits but if you see a kid doing something or they're in a dangerous situation moms dads parents caregivers whoever the hell you are even if you're not related and say something and check in there's just too many people here there really is so I get worried this time of year for stuff like that so just double check on everything okay oh yeah we don't want to be reading stories or talking about stories and we got enough and you know there's gonna be one you know there's gonna be one Mari someone's on a roll today I got my coffee um that's it you know it's just and and never mind the young kids the people who aren't so young anymore who can kind of wander off if you don't pay attention to them are you talking about dogs or elderly people no no I'm just talking about people who aren't as young as they used to be and dogs as well but people who aren't as young as they as they as they used to be you need to pay attention to where they are too I know we had that sad story that happened here so yes yeah and that that's what I was thinking of and I I know a friend that's personally related to that situation and it's really heartbreaking so yeah definitely keep an eye Mari like Hank don't worry you'll find him he's in his bright red today I wore red white I wore blue and white he got the red I feel like Hank and I always coordinate I have blue jeans on too and white socks go red white and white socks isn't that so tacky oh some of was cracking a bad Neil Diamond joke they said his name used to be Neil Cole but after years of pressure it was so was like oh that was just bad bad was bad bad bad so I might just sh that on Lemon Ado today and also I said I do not officially recognize the 4th of July because Reese's doesn't have a shape for that we we need some firework shaped Reese's please than you there you go that's surprising that they haven't come up with that right yeah I don't want to polarize anything Lord knows no no no no no no you're upsetting the world right now can't do that can't offend anyone well let's talk about flag etiquette because you brought it up the other day and didn't have a chance to get to it because we are always jamming with activities and it was our first day back we all know from when we were Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and and CB scouts or we serve in the military te that anymore I don't I mean I I assume they do but there's certain flag etiquette folks and I know a lot of people are going to pull the flag out of the garage today because it's because it's the 4th of July it can't touch the ground it can only be um displayed sun up to sun down at sun down the flag has to come in unless it's lit up and then the third one that to me I think is important the tattered flags that everybody has in the back of their trucks and everything can retire those that we all think hey that you think it's cool it's actually disrespectful you got to retire those things okay you're not being cool you're being disrespectful so please respect the flag just bring it to your local police department half the time they'll give you a new one right they've got a lot of them so right or or or find somebody who's active in the military you can find them around here on Cape Cod yeah not a problem ask him you know ask him what to do with it how you should dispose of it they know how they know how to fold it as well I still remember how to fold it from Cub Scouts yeah um but if you don't if you don't remember someone who's in the military will will show the show you the appropriate way how to how to fold it just a just a little thing that that I don't know with all the is that your irk is that your pet peeve it's my pet peeve because with all the flag waving going on these days to to see wait a minute but no how do you feel about flag attire I saw a gentleman last night walk in with fullon American flag pants on I didn't know how to feel about it they were extra it doesn't bother me it bothers some flag officing Autos though no it doesn't bother me as long as people also don't get upset with when somebody with a pair of jeans uses an American flag as a patch for their knee right you can't have it both ways exactly you really can't have it both ways what's up Kathy thanks for joining us Liz happy Fourth of July to everybody we're here on Cape Cod where everybody wants to be and uh the day looks like it's going to be pretty good for us we've got fireworks in a few towns f for example yep that's the big one here and the and the cool thing about the fireworks in Falmouth um at Falmouth Heights if the is clear and the timing is right you can see the fireworks from Martha's Vineyard in the in the distance very cool and then another town further further down Cape if you're on the beach you look straight out you get Mar Vineyard if you look to the left there's another town further down where you can see those fireworks as well so you really get three for the three for the price of one I'm sad back in the day our pond really used to our association really used to go all out with our fireworks that has waned in the last couple of years but I just to go out on John's Pond or any probably near you wherever you are whether it's wake be or Peters or wherever everybody does their own little celebrations even though we're not supposed to right uh but it's just super fun to watch the each Beach areas that you can watch other people's firework displays it's almost like a firework off speaking of John's Pond it appears to be okay it appears to be cleaner I don't know what they're doing I know that they have a couple of plans wake we Pond is a mess apparently they've got some plans in place to some of our Waters I don't know if it's going to happen but right now it looks okay but they did say it has Posas yeah I don't know what we're going to do with that because I think everything in the world now has it because we introduced this plastic so yeah right gonna have to deal with it our fall I know we didn't know any better no we didn't but now that we do right gotta do something we got a Fourth of July countdown that is happening right here on Lemon Ado Seth has been working diligently with elas Glam and that starts at about 11 o' I think it's going to wrap up at 5: I think he did six full hours that's great of this amazing countdown I know he has worked his tail off for this show we would love for you to turn it on and have it be the soundtrack to your fourth of July definitely including some elastic Glam some patriotic Rock and uh this has been voted on by people for the last three months so he's really done his job of preparing this countdown for the Fourth of July I'm actually very much looking forward to listening to it in between my goings on uh like I said going to start off at the sandwich picnic where we're going to have a great time and that's from noon until 2 then I'm G to move over and hang out with the highness yach club before their firework celebration excuse me well you know Hank they wanted me and I am delivering I was like what am I going to do spend money no I'll go over there Nathan's Hot Dog competition what's going to happen I don't know apparently they fired all their Heavy Hitters because they were taking endorsement deals that did not jive with Nathan right they're like you cannot do an endorsement for meat-free hot dogs when you're doing the Nathan's Hot Dog competion no no you can't you have to wonder what people think sometimes well I think two of the top world's top competitive eaters had to retire for physical issues right gee that's a stunner my body can't do this anymore and then it grosses me out oh God I I ch I I I watch it and my stomach immediately starts turning glass of water boom no there's something about competitive eating that makes me nauseous I just I can't even watch it it makes me gag I I have to shut it off however with that said it is become one of those American pastimes to watch the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating competition I just don't know who's gonna emerge as the winner this year we'll have a new celebrity that'll make all the rounds of the late night talk shows and be doing goofy stuff with the host and somebody will make a little money and then they'll take some stupid endorsement and it'll move on to somebody else yeah I think we have reached the Pinnacle of the summer here on the cape I had a couple of girlfriends send me some fabulous whale watching videos yesterday they are here oh they're everywhere oh my gosh it was an incredible video so I said you've got a great year for whale watching here on the cape yeah I think so yeah they're here in huge numbers yeah she's a Pennsylvania girl so it's not like she gets to see the ocean very much no she's like on the Ohio side of Pennsylvania okay well when we were in Florida you know just chatting with people on the elevator at the hotel the number of people from Ohio who we were talking with and we said you don't have this in Ohio oh God no that's a jty word now apparently in the kids vacular it's like the Florida of places is Ohio yeah that means bad oh I didn't know that that right well I that's so Ohio and that means it's bad okay poor Ohio the whole state didn't have a chance they didn't know I don't think it's a bad state it is it's like everything else but apparently all the dumb stupid crimes have been happening there now instead of oh not in not in Florida or maybe it's giving it a run for its money so now it's become maybe the people from Ohio who do dumb things and moving to Florida and they continue to do dumb things or they came from Ohio maybe that was the originator what's up Sue thanks for joining it was it wasn't Dade County it was Ohio yeah we don't know we don't know we had to we had to do the walk yesterday I always forget that we live in this like wonderful vacation space and we've got a lot of people that have their summer homes in our neighborhood and my husband's like you want to take a walk with me and make sure our boat's still there I'm like probably I haven't even looked at it so we walked down to the landing of our association Beach and CH up there he got mad because he thought he saw it behind the shed and he's like I don't know why someone keeps thr someone mov the lemon Ado yacht yeah the lemonad yacht is a canoe before you start laughing it's a canoe so we walked over and I was like that is definitely not our boat it's it's no that is not our boat so we walk over and it's sitting on our our saved slip or whatever it was fine so I was like it's there I was like where are the ores he's like oh back at the house I just wanted to check to make sure it was there I'm like we walked all the way down here going you didn't even take me out you just wanted to make sure it was there so maybe at some point this weekend we can uh yeah take the lemonade o yacht out my canoe and go for a little JT around my pond you've got some promotional possibilities there with the lemonade o yacht you really do what's up Lori Lori I hope you have your helmet on and you are ready to deal with the likes of all of Falmouth tonight at the Falmouth fireworks I know that uh that is your your big event for the year you better have a good time today because I know it's going to be jam-packed and where is she at um I'm not sure she's with the radio station so I'm sure they're going to be adding up activities at all right whichever Beach you're going to be at where are your activities Lori let us know I don't know I haven't seen you all season we've got the mash P farmers market that is coming up this weekend our new shirts are in yay I had the biggest laugh yesterday with Lily so I was like can you just throw on a shirt and go in the garden so I can get some photos so taking photos of her and then she's like let me see him you know how critical teenagers are with photos at this point so she grabs him and she's like no no and crap my feet out of there no one's paid for those we not given that away for free and I was like oh my God you really are an adult yes you are an adult now I don't it's weird to me that she's moved on to this grown-up phase of her life right right well akin to that all of a sudden Mariana's a teenager yeah in the same way that you didn't notice that L is all of a sudden adult all of a sudden Mariana is a teenager didn't care about hair we'd say to her do you want to blow dry your hair or something oh no I want now I hear what is she doing in there oh she's blow drying her hair yeah as of when right will they take hours to get ready now good luck with you on she would she would never wear a top with just like straps or something yeah well now she does yeah you with little a little bear mid drift I'm going what happened to the girl who like had to wear a sweatshirt was Street sizes too big we love the goth facee cover up don't you need big sweatshirts right good morning Miss Lauren I happening my husband always plays the office during dinner because he has that misophonia he can't hear when people chew it like upsets him he gets grossed out and nauseous so he'll have to leave the table or play TV or some sort of Music really really loud while we eat really it's gotten worse as he's gotten older which is insane to me because the man is Dea I actually told him he needs a hearing test the other day I was like you might be do up for some hearing aids because I think you really need to have that address he said what exactly but when it comes to eating at the dinner table we got to Jack that stuff up so he's playing the office and then that episode came on with the butt scratcher and I was like oh my God Tomas so no know that I see you my little friend over there and I'll think of you every time I watch that episode of The Office yes I guess that's a good thing I know Lenor happy fourth to you I cannot wait to see you out and about I know that uh I might see your daughter today Colleen is doing the jaunt between the islands The Vineyard Nantucket everybody's got their big celebrations friends of ours want us to go to the vineyard on Saturday and I don't know if it's going to be a little too peoply for me yeah I feel like this is their whole High holiday weekend right where they're just going to have literally it's bursting at the seams the most amount of people they could possibly ever have right are going to be on the vineyard this weekend well while the folks are at that wedding the Chad and bars in they'll probably go over to Nantucket now that was a birthday party I know that was a Flippin birthday party with the amount of Tom Brady's there then all of a sudden you see Elton John all at the chat and bars in Elton I'm not touring ever again John how big a check did they write to get I'm watching Marcy blun just like oh here you go I I prepared all of this and the parties she throws are spectacular yeah I she's a New York Party Planner yeah I have been following her for years because she's just insane at what she does she puts on like the most in like you see this event in your brain this woman just puts it on like she has unlimited resources yeah her clients are gazillionaires so there's no money spared in any of the events that she puts on in this particular case it was the wife of the president and CEO of Motorola her 62nd birthday right not even a big like not even not 60 not 65 62 we'll have we'll have Tom Brady bring you flowers we'll have Elton John play a couple of tunes really I can't I can't imagine that level of richness right or it it's like are you personally friends with those people that you just like I'll just put you up and wine and dine you for the weekend this is something fun to do for the weekend yeah like have you crossed that level of EXC you know what I mean like yeah he probably didn't pay Tom Brady I'm sure he paid Elton John I don't think Elton John does anything for I but who knows maybe they're besties and it's just like I I told Hank we need to get better friends right lot better I mean with all due respect to the friends that we have we love all of you expand the universe a little expand up right and we will invite you to stuff that we do with our better friends okay we'll include you guys we're eventually we'll include you we got to work our way in we got to get on the ground floor up there somewhere we'll have to vet you depending upon who it is but you know we'll we'll we we'll let you in at some point we are definitely not swimming in that pond tank no oh my goodness it was so opulent and ridiculous and I was just like wow that happened happened on our little rock over here right and and Marcy what's her name Blum Blum she's on Instagram if you want to see this stuff go to Instagram and and you'll find the party she puts together her clients are impeccable and I just sit there in absolute awe of the dam party she throws I just want one just want one in my life okay I'm not anymore I'm stuff that she has up on Instagram people are crying because it's Elon John and I mean I think I'd be a little knock back if if Elton John was like right over there I don't somebody wrote down Oprah on a dryer race board is she gonna be the next guest for next year I was just curious as I was watching that real I was like did they draw for the who should be the guest of the next birthday party maybe she's doing Oprah's party next what the hell I either way how old's Oprah gonna be she's no kid anymore no I wonder is it a big one for Oprah I don't know gole the cape wow congratulations to you I think he originally came from New Jersey and uh we fast became friends when he first moved to the cape at one of the radio stations I was working at and uh We've maintained our relationship through all of the this this can that's been kicked up and down the road a few times so thank you very much for still hanging out with me and checking in Dave I appreciate okay Oprah turned 70 yep she just had her big one on January 29th so is it a full year of Oprah celebrations could be she's always on the vineyard doing something yeah she usually brings her mega yacht into the vineyard where she can fly her had oh she does is it hers or is it stemman no it's hers and she'll pull it in and then she can fly off of the top of the yacht to where she needs to go yeah we we don't have the right kind of friends hello we love you but once again so I don't I don't need that level of opulence in my life but I would just like you try it though I would just want to try one time just one party guys yeah just one I take a week I'll be fun and you know what I bet we couldn't stand it I'll behave and I'll I'll have fun I promise no I wouldn't like it no it' be too much stuffy I mean I like a lot I would I wouldn't mind a lot but that's but that's way too much I think I would lose my mind right yeah yeah right like we'd explode we we don't know how to live like that right we could do like below deck though that's a whole another story yeah you know when my sister gets on her rant she'll start texting me about below deck and it's a show I don't even watch I watched a couple of times once again go ahead and make all the jokes you want but my gynecologist was on it right Han below deck and um I had to Leone she knows it's absolutely one of the funniest things on earth when I have this conversation and someone brings it up right and there's one of those people on there but yeah I I could do I could do a below deck episode yeah oh yeah that's about it I could do it for a week on yeah and I'll go back to my little Pond over here checking to make sure my canoe is still on it's fine it's fine we can dream everybody that's right um avocado lovers I hope you enjoy your guacamole right now because apparently um The Regulators have halted inspections why of the Mexican avocados so we're about to see the supply chain dwindle here in the United States so get your guac on right now is what they're trying to say I don't know I don't know what happened I don't know whether we're lacking in inspectors I don't know if there's a problem with closing the Border ioc I don't know I can't keep track of all the BS that's happening in this country I I did feel better though while we were traveling to know it's not just our country it's literally everywhere in the world that is like really just crazy wild protesting unhappiness unrest it is like a World's yeah Evolution that is happening so it made me feel a little bit better that it's not just us we're not just The Crazy Ones and there's plenty of crazy to go around it's worldwide everybody you're not escaping it oh yeah well if you read what's happening in France there's plenty of crazy in France right now right unless you've got your own yacht that you can right take off off of wherever you feel like going in the world because it's not not a place that's pleasing you anymore right and everybody loves to travel to Italy and eat the food Italy is crazy has been crazy for a long time somebody just po oh unique experiences one of our good friends that we're planning our grean trip on lemonade o in 2026 with posted yesterday was it Italy and she's like TI missu in Italy or whatever cake it was in Austria and I'm like I gotta tell you I'm a new fan of Austria oh really H it's it's definitely on my tops list of places that I would like to just go and be alone why just because there are so many mountains is that where the hills are alive yes the hills are very much alive and I very much enjoyed it did you see it you you said she were gonna go there we did we did the um The Sound of Music Tour in fact we actually watched The Sound of Music yesterday during the day my husband and I were like we were there we were there we saw that we were there I hate that mie I loved it and I watched the entire thing I thought I'll just going to fast forward to see the parts that I've seen because it is truly an amalgamation Robert Weiss put this movie together all over the place so like the front of the house is in one place the back of the house is in another dear the ABY is in another place they were allowed to use some film footage for this place but then they they faked it with this place yeah so we saw a good swath of all of the different places and apparently obviously the Austrian government and the Austrian people did not like the sound of music because because it depicted did their feelings and how they just rolled over to Germany at that time which essentially they did they literally did they were like yeah well just take us it's fine they didn't really put up a fight at all so they did not like that portrayal of this very much true story they made this musical lot of um so it never caught on they did not really enjoy the story in fact when they did play the sound of music for the Austrian government they wanted it to stop when the Nazis were introduced oh really like no you can just stop it there they're like no we're going to play the whole thing never Happ didn't it turn out years ago that one of their presidents had in fact been a Nazi oh yeah and nobody knew it yeah he had been I think head of the UN then he went back to Austria and became president kurit Kurt VA time Y and they tried to just sweep it under the rug and it right so that that did not bode well either way the the Austrian people were not like in love with the movie so they weren't very kind to some of the artifacts from the movie and uh it was this tour company that petitioned them to save the gazebo in which I'm 16 going on 17 was filmed because it became like a trash pit it became like one of those places that people graffitied and and broke apart and it it they basically made it become a national treasure and they moved it to another one of their filming locations and reassembled it cleaned it up so how did they feel about The Sound of Music Tour then there I mean obviously they're bringing in touris and the amount of touris and dollars that brings salsburg period is incredible yeah so you know they're they're fine with the tourist dollars for sure um but it was just it's they still don't if you've talked to an Austrian person they've not seen the movie okay so so what did you see on the two you obviously saw the Gazebo I guess we did we saw the front of the house the back of the house the pond in which they fell in which is a glacial Pond oh really so they were freezing so the little one Bita couldn't even swim apparently so they had filmed this thing three or four times where Julie Andrews was supposed to fall forward and catch her yeah to so that she won't drown because this child cannot swim oh no and they would take these fish these kids out of the pond dry them off warm them up and make them do it again it was like four times well the final take in the one that they used was the one where she fell backwards and Bita was drowning right and that was the one that they ended up used using because it seemed realistic okay because it was yeah she was drowning God so that was the fun parts of that stuff we didn't see the gazebo in which that happened we did see a lot of the areas we did see the Abbey from the outside we weren't allowed to go inside did you see the hills we did we saw some of the hills not the one where the helicopter kept knocking Julie Andrews down right because it got so close to her the wind of it you know they didn't have drones back then so it was knocking her down at every take and that was somewhere filmed in the Bavarian Hills a little bit far away and uh our tour guide was really sweet she was actually Australian which by the way there is a dedicated office in Austria to people that think they've flown to Australia no yes there is a dedicated office in the Austrian airport to people that think that they flew to Australia to deal with those people s t r i a a t r a l I suppose so if you're you're yeah I guess you can make that mistake so they are very much a part of their country's Heritage Tractor is what their outfits are called they're later hosen oh the yeah so girls and guys wear that regularly out like they just go out to dinner like it's not serious I mean are you serious oh I'm dead serious they have tons of thrift shops which we my family loves thrift shops my kids are like what Thrift Shop we're going um and all of them they have a fullon tractor section in all of them come home with any no I didn't I kept trying to tell Lily because it was a really cute strawberry one I was like oh my God for your for your costumes and your tea party you got to try it on I'm not dealing with that Mom I don't have any room in my suitcase I was like you're right I'll ship it home but they good morning Jenny and good morning well hi from California what's up Michael yeah they do they wear this regular stuff so our tour guy was so adorable she's like I might look like Heidi to you right now but she goes afterwards I'm going out drinking with my friends and this is normal everyday attire to see a good mix they really are trying to hold on to their Austrian Heritage and they just wear that regularly and I'm like I'm obsessed with this country because if you get to dress up like this and just go out drink it I think that's great that's cool that's cool I know so it's just a regular part of their everyday life no one blinks it's not weird she goes first day of school around here you will see everybody dressed up like this really dropping their kids off school yep with a little oh wow absolutely there was a fullon section I mean they go all out and they keep it like their fits are serious so they're they're very serious about their trctor and they wear it regularly it seems like a place worth visiting definitely put that on your list put that on the put that on F is great the sites are wonderful it's clean the public transportation is wonderful I will definitely go back for sure it is on my list of places that is now going to be in regular rotation so what do they do with the people who think they're flying to Australia I don't know I didn't Austria but I really enjoyed the fact that that is an actual official office for the government in Austria you make all your reservations for go to Australia end up in a wouldn't you think the time difference or do you think wow this is a quick flight I don't know because it takes like forever to get to Australia it's still on my list of places to visit just not anytime soon I feel like that's a retired spot because I need to get dedicate like six weeks to go if I'm going to kind of like mix it up you know how we like to travel yeah I want to want to bop around I don't like staying in the same spot that's a long flight yeah we had um we shared trains um with a couple that was from I forget what side she goes but we're all the way West Coast Australia so it's really extra so we were in this train compartment with these this couple that was in Munich for work stuff and then they were trained traveling a little bit beforehand so it was a regular thing to do but they get like yeah it took us 20 hours to get here wow we were in Dublin with another couple from Australia and they were like we had to like break it up a little bit to get here because it's such an obnoxiously long flight that's the neat thing about Europe the train service you can get anywhere I loved it and that when you go and if you go and use their train service Americans get a cheaper deal it's like half price definitely spend the extra couple of hundred bucks to get the first class it includes your food it includes your Bo you get separate compartments ones with air conditioning places to store your luggage it is very much a very luxury space for a few hundred dollars extra makes the difference it really do it makes all difference I imagine it would fabulous inground swimming pool yesterday as they're having a heat wave how hot was it though yeah I don't think I would survive that it's been it's been really hot in a lot of places that shouldn't be as hot as it is once again I saw that Meme that I can't unsee of how do you feel to be cremated that is how hot it is here no thank you I what we had John Taylor check in on our Tuesday show that was from the desert there right and it was I forget what 114 I'm like oh no no sir but it's a dry heat bleep that that is not for me yeah at some point it just gets too damn hot whether it's Dr Cas tea I can't do it no no and I don't mind the heat see this way I don't mind Florida this time of year because I don't mind the heat maybe it's because I'm older I don't mind the heat I feel I feel better but that that'll be a little too much but I don't mind Florida heat no no it is not good for me um so you don't have your your um date night today your lunch break today no I don't I know you the movies and a cookout you know what there are a lot of people that would prefer to go and spend it in an air conditioned space I'm not mad at you no no so so here you go here are the here are the Apes still hanging in there number seven Garfield movie number six the bikers the bike riders I should say number five khaki K KY k l Ki 2988 ad you guys I don't know any of these no bad boys ride or die that's that's um Will Smith and Martin Lawrence um another new one horizon an American Saga Saga chapter new um number two a quiet place day one I don't know what any of these are well that seems like a sequel and I did I do like John krinski but yeah I spent and the number one is inside out too oh yeah everybody's been inside out cute I heard it's really really good I'll probably cry because that's what I do at all movies and things I was crying during the Sound and Music Tour I cried oh my gosh my kids were laughing at me they're like Mom are you serious I got to see I got to see what a quiet place is um but it's the the first one where somebody takes over the world and you can't make any noises so she's like birthing babies in quiet place it's just it's kind of ridiculous oh experience today the world went quiet that's what it is yeah exactly I don't know if it needed a sequel but yeah but the difference is um you you know I'm a full-blown media addict and I spent three weeks with not one stitch of Television good for you I watched none I watched nothing so of course when I came home I had to brain rot it up and I ended up watching the Dallas Cowboy cheil have you watched this new one it's an eight episode series that is on Netflix right now I thought that was rated X no about the no it's not a redo of that one not Debbie does Dalling God oh my family show is in the gutter right now the kids don't have any idea what we're talking about oh thank God the Dallas how Cowboy Cheerleaders it's like from when they audition to the season to postseason okay and is everything like all it's supposedly all the dirty dirt that goes along with auditioning to the backside of all of this and it's not rated X no it's not it just shows like how they don't get paid no they get paid like 30 bucks an hour not even like it's something crazy they get $500 a game and most of the stuff that they have to do is volunteerism which ends up being like $18 an hour that they get right right so when you see the the deig and Patriots cheerleaders somewhere you know at a grand opening of a auto dealership they're really not getting paid no no no it was insane like it's an honorary position like you should be blessed to fight your way to the top 36 of these ones right and you can't gain weight like they they they do full makeovers it was all about like their hair they're like oh we can fix her up with hair and makeup she can't look like this they can't go they can't wear too much glitter they can't wear anything that is too much astray from their natural coloring their body has to be completely proportionate if it's not they're out if they gain any weight they're out that you know you fit the the once you're fitted that's your fit right the entire time every single year they have to retry out for everything um some of the dances they've been doing they've been doing it for 30 years their choreographer by the way is like 70 right like okay well we're GNA we're going to get there a little earlier than we usually do because this year there's apparently new management at Sopranos it's now the warf and they don't take reservations well did dah um it's gonna be a riot I don't you know restaurants that don't take reservations on busy days I'm sorry you're looking for trouble well and I know that you you last year were trying to make a reservation nearby to stay for a couple of nights but they wanted the full week so that just wasn't going to work for happen yeah no well I I guess I understand why they wanted the full week but um because they don't want people just Rolling In and Out for night and I know and and trash in the place but we're honorable people and you know I was I was thinking I should call over there today and say je do you have any room yeah right you know but I'm sure they banged it out because it's right across the street from the beach and it's a place that you know yeah our j1's were asking where to watch the fireworks in Falmouth and I just gave them the the low down how are they I still haven't met them they're doing great I haven't seen them all the times that I'm here I I never see them we did have a funny snafu when we were away yeah where they were like Stephanie we had a package delivered and we can't find it and I'm like all right well I'll take a look at the cameras and see if we can see you know you we don't really get porch Pirates here but you never knowas here Never Say Never There are cameras here yeah um who who you're in front of one right now Hank I didn't know that I mean but cameras outside you've never divulged that almost three years you've never told me I'm being watched when I get out of my car you're being watched Han well so I said I don't know about this let me check the cameras and uh see if we've got anybody and I'm like no I don't see any deliveries other than the two deliveries that we had had for our business and Emily brought those in um when she was working because this house is always going 247 everyone says why are you telling telling people you're on vacation you think my house is empty it is not oh no there's people here this is a floating Hotel someone is here 24 hours a day don't even try it and we have cameras so I'm checking the cameras and I'm like I don't see your package anywhere I really when was it delivered and Emily goes no I brought in this I brought in this she goes did they check I know this is stupid but did they check the mailbox and I was like oh let me ask them so this is like I'm going through WhatsApp I'm texting I'm Facebook typing I'm like trying to I'm talking to all these people the different various places that I'm talking to people cuz we're not having a regular phone service and so I said guys did you check the mailbox what is the mailbox do you have what no the the big green thing across the street oh that's ours I thought that was the neighbor no that's ours it was in the mailx it was in the mailbox so it took like 11 people in a weekl long investigation to find out the package was in the mailbox either way they got their package but um yeah they were asking me what how to go about doing it and I said your best bet is to take the bus to Walmart and just walk on down right that we don't have to fight with people no and you know our friend is having a party over there I'm like go on over to our friend's house if you're looking there's a nice big field there's a nice big beach there's plenty of spaces if you don't have a vehicle it's easy to access that area right speaking of our friend Ted Murphy he has uh various WR wrting classes through the summer there's one on Thursday from 9: to 11: for aspiring younger writers like Mariana who's 12 and apparently he still has a couple of openings yeah and it runs from 9: to 11 it starts next next Thursday and it's for eight weeks and if you know of anyone who you know is is a little bit younger and um they're interested in writing sign them up it's going to be it's going to be fabulous can't tell you and this is an endorsement I will never give you no I will give you this in person but Ted Murphy was really instrumental and getting Lily to find her space as a writer uh freshman year she was really struggling grade wise was really not figuring out what Avenue in which she was going to go in with school and that writing class was our Saving Grace it was like therapy it was like writing and it was also um finding her own voice putting all that together where she ended up in AP honors literature and and um English and and finishing the year so strong in that Arena and is really going to be cultivating that love of writing um in college and I it really instrumental in finding her place so Ted whatever they write about he doesn't share with the parents I don't even know but I still don't even know what the hell they did in that Rider Shack for four years but I do know that it was a safe space for her and it was a wonderful place to flourish for her writing and he's a cool dude too folks if you don't know if you don't know who he is he's just a um he's just a cool D Mariana is a I'm not saying this Ted told me because I I I think she's a good writer she needs she needs a lot of work and and I sent him something that she wrote and he got right back to me and he said please have her sign up she awesome she needs that kind of build some build some confidence because she's one of those kids that needs um other things to do that she enjoys that somehow doesn't involve a screen yeah yeah and it's not it's not her mom it's not her grandparents it's a it's a person that's just a mentor right it's really quite a nice thing that Ted does and and she knows Ted he came and spoke to her class I think um fifth grade yeah and she just enjoyed him and like I said he's just a cool dude folks and and U Ted I may be coming across to join your party today because I don't like sitting on the beach for on I love it also shout out to you Ted Murphy Cliff included you in our trivia this week we always have the backside puzzle and it's you against yourself um and one of them had to do it was a bank and that's why you know people who were waiting for for Mark pellia to open it you know couldn't I guess how Comer take and so on you walk inside and you see it and pastries from Modern bankery um they're selling vendor ravioli from from Federal Hill y I had a um Italian eggs benedict for breakfast that was made with Puda y Mariana had a piece of French toast and the hunk of bread was like this big it was unbelievable they s lavaza coffee which is Italy's number one coffee and um it's it's great so check it out you know please please check it out folks I love it I'm looking forward to and we're gonna have a contest coming up on Cape codani at home I'm not sure quite when yet but it's going to be your best summertime drink oh all right I'm looking forward to that and we
