saraphina and I were in a entrepreneurial book club where Stephanie never read the right book and Stephanie was terrible at this book club I really stopped at book CL I did not fabulous I'm what I just had a visual had a proud of it hello and good morning on a Thursday hello there boys and girls how are you hey when did it become allergy season well it was like weirdly warmish for over the last couple of days I feel like it's spring my eyes are like well it's definitely not feeling like spring out there this morning I'll tell you that right now folks just you know the kids are going back to school today yeah that was a highlight of my morning they went to school I I danced around hey hey little buddy that was up at 2:00 in the morning screaming on his video games when I was like listen you're not going to be happy tomorrow you got a full day you got basketball practice you got a whole day we're talking 15h hour day tomorrow probably best to go to bed this started at 10 p.m really 11: p.m. I was awoken from a dead sleep at about 1:45 with a scream and a swear because they're playing video games and I'm like so my favorite moment this morning was bopping in there at about 5:30 hey hey good morning boy that loves to be up at 2: a.m. guess what to get up now liil has gone back to college no no she's still home got a full um good because I mean she didn't come home until I don't know yesterday afternoon and then uh probably left again with an older man yeah the life of an 18-year-old I'm going with this one I'm going with that one don't you know this one it's all boys I don't know I I don't know these boys but just be careful boys have you met her father he's too busy in la la land what's going on Gloria I've been living vicariously through your fabulous travels he's got a bat hidden somewhere in that house he's got swords he's got there you go okay swords okay boys Kung Fu days her dad has swords giant ones okay I feel like we've talked about this at some point sometime about pant for Kung Fu swords wow right wow so if you go to pick Lil up and dad is standing at the door with a sword watch out kids yep watch out yep you get something you shouldn't have done well we got Gloria here and her favorite is crazy crime so we might as well indulge her a little bit oh sure why not uh a Florida woman apologizes to the police for companions reckless driving it's my birthday and I was rubbing all over him oh she was busy I I can see how that wouldn't be his fault oh he could do the responsible thing and say hey not now but what guy would do that rolling right into the next story about Jack in the Box a customer gets socked after going ballistic over missing curly fries oh no that that's that's hangry is what that is that that is we've seen hangry before yes and that is and did you know that the Wendy's here just over the line in Barnstable they've automated the drive-thru no yeah what does that mean there's no real person who answer you know who says hi what do you want you pull up and it's automated his voice talks to you and oh asks you what do you does it get the order right though well you can you can ask it I've only been there once and and it just caught me by surprise but I guess you can say because I heard the person in front of me say tell me what I ordered and it kind of spews it back interesting but yeah it's it's automated it's really kind of weird so I mean anyone who doesn't know what they're doing there are still people out there who don't know what to do when they go up to a drive- through the when I panic when I go through a drivethru I don't know what to do I don't like them I feel rushed I feel pressured then I've got the back with this now and if you don't know what to do it's like you know I just a couple of blue hairs and you know who' never been to Wendy's before trying to figure out what to do does anybody else get drive-through anxiety I just don't like them I'd rather just pull up and and walk in yeah especially just since my kids are barking orders in the back seat and I'm like I can't focus on it's too much yeah I only go I like it I only go when when Mariana's with me and she wants to get she wants to get something and I just have no idea what she's ordering and and I'm saying to the person the real person that I'm talking wait a minute I've got to ask her what are you drinking oh and and so I can imagine what my favorite was fairly recently when I was through that drive-thru that was not automated at the time when I was picking up for my son and I literally was like what do you want I'm at the window right now and he said what he wanted and she's like drive up yes because he was so loud through my phone in my in my car there was a woman perfect no there was a woman on the window she called everybody honey oh that's I bet was it a woman yeah yeah older woman kind of yeah oh yeah oh she had it together oh she does okay sweetie thank you I loved it not that we often get fast food uh I can't tell you the last time I did other than picking up for him on the way home because I had already had sushi ah gas station Sushi or regular Sushi no regular Sushi we don't do gas station Sushi okay just check it have a Death Wish Han you never know you never know oh Sandy Michael Mari hey thank you for joining us it is a new year here and it's the same us yeah I know you're welcome to it nothing is different nope thank you very much to mash P TV for having us we are going to be doing more shows from here uh and you're going to be able to watch them on HD channel 1072 which I'm looking forward to HD I know I know we're going to be in HD I need hair and makeup if we're doing HD even this morning I was like what's happening I just had a rough morning MH like I just well you woken up in the middle of the night by video yeah exactly and also a one fry since we were talking about fast food on my stairs there was one McDonald's fry because you know what they look like sitting on my stair for three days and I walked up and down the stairs going why is there a McDonald's Fry on the stair can you get rid of that can we get rid of that why is that still there I'm shocked none of the animals in my house ate that that should tell you something it doesn't speak well for the fry exactly so was finally picked up yesterday when he was forced to do his laundry because he had no clean clothes in his room so who went to McDonald's he did probably him I think it was one of a friend's mom that delivered to them because that's how lazy these boys are right but he has he has his alance permit though right yeah he has not driven oh no not another one yeah Lily is expired I have no hopes for her she at this point can just go down to the DMV herself and get her own license I don't think she needs any any other things oh my goodness but I mean there's 's no point when she's paying for college when it costs just as much as her college to pay for insurance right so we're going to wait for that one yep yep and him it's going to be outrageous although he spent the day working with Dad yesterday good I know making making some bucks and actually doing some work in heavy lifting so that's excellent it's nice to see the youth working a little bit the youth they need to and they need to get the hell out of my house cuz I'm over vacation this has been the longest vacation slash time off of school I feel like I've ever felt in my entire life it feels like it's been a month it's been two full solid weeks it's because the holidays fell on weird days yes yeah it was midweek holidays so they were just out constant we didn't know what day it was we didn't know what time it was we didn't know where we were I didn't know what was going on and I'm finally glad today begrudgingly and with a little bit of fog pushing into a regular schedule right I need it right we get on on Monday because this is kind of a weird time well that's it you go back for a day or two and then you start the weekend again I can't I can't focus like this I need a little bit more either either that or take your first two vacation days of the year God yeah work it out um I'm sure a lot of people were it's there's been some heavy news sure sure is for the past couple of days yeah yeah I thought one thing that was just really kind of I I didn't I didn't get it we're talking about it before we went on last night I wanted to get updated information I had watched both those football games which were both tremendous games and I figured i' go to a cable news outlet and I'm a fan of CNN and I figured okay Anders and Cooper must be on they were showing a 90 minute Luther vandros documentary now I Luther vandros big fan all of that stuff it's a sh but with what's going on in the world right now do you feel like that they were just like no has enough information to speak on it intelligently I I don't know either that or they gave everybody the night off well and that also could be it it's a staffing issue and I feel like once again with automation yeah with the The Cutting of staff and people you know refocusing their energies and we just we work a lot less I'm not against it but I feel like we are definitely giving people those spaces maybe they just didn't have the staff or the manpower to come I expected to see Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper and and and which left the field wide open to Fox and I'm not a fan and wow they're all over the all over the place last night on Fox but um because nobody nobody really still seems to know we're talking about what uh what transpired in New Orleans uh which has pushed the Sugar Bowl 24 hours right uh Notre Dame Georgia we don't know if that game was going to play this afternoon scheduled for four o'clock so we'll we'll we'll see they say that may maybe they seem to be looking for somebody else although they're not sure that's just really really scary especially being in New Orleans especially where we got the Super Bowl coming up I guess Friday is dress rehearsals for the Super Bowl Kendrick Lamar is going to be the performer which I'm very excited for uh but yeah was this something that is a a practice run like they they've got a lot of Investigation to be doing so I don't know if they're going to be able to get the Sugar Bowl off uh what's up cat hi hi Michael thanks for joining us it's Hank it's Steph we're live at MASH TV and and and and then you had someone blow up a Tesla truck in front of um a Trump Hotel in Vegas I think mental not that there's anything wrong with blowing it up because that's one of the ugliest things I've ever seen you can't say that my God is that thing ugly why would you drive why would you spend that amount of money to drive that ugly thing I know I don't get it either looks like a giant dumpster it does yes it does I know what like is gonna take my trash away you take I have no word of a lie 17 bags of recycled clothes in my front doorstep right now because I put one bag there and my children were like oh this is what we're doing so then the two of them both decided to go through their wardrobe which I'm not mad about but there are legitimately 17 trash bags of clothes blocking the entryway need new clothes you know that that's the next step yeah you know they're taking out what they got for Christmas and filtering in the new stuff and then getting rid of stuff and then the shift of seasons and my son still won't wear a jacket it is freezing out there right moms and dads caregivers grandparents if you're caring for a small child and you have to do what I do is make them take the jacket regardless send it in a bag with them when they go places I got a text message from another mother when I went to that god- aful football game thank you very much Chris Ball for giving me those Patriots tickets or was it did was that a gift or was that just somebody else needs to feel my pain this season uh and CJ's mom texts me and Kristen's like um he does own a jacket just so you know I'm like okay so I'm not alone you're fine they they don't believe in jackets they get to a certain age and and maybe they're traumatized when they're little when they get all tied up and everything and and freaking kids we a jackets I'm fine I don't need it nope don't need it we know what it is too though they go into to school and and I know this is the case with Mariana her locker is on totally the other side of the building so she can't take her coat off put it in her locker and go back that's new excuse as they're older because they when they're younger they just won't wear it they don't want it okay it just they that's the new excuse is it's too far away I don't have a place to put it laziness is not the answer either when you're cold you're cold I I just don't think that they feel it no they don't no I don't think they do either I felt every ounce of it yesterday at the Polar Plunge I'll tell you what and congratulations for doing it was that a congratulations I could have just paid them the $25 and sat on the sidelines and watched every other crazy go in that water it actually wasn't that bad I did uh a couple of cold plunges uh fairly recently not out in the wild right that was really what the ish and the ick for me was was it was full of leaves and so when you were walking there was like a little bit of crust of colds around the outside and all of the leaves and I was like but at least you could go in the pond yes yes you could go I dipped I turned around I did Mary from the Department mashby Department uh wreck department was very gracious and explaining to me what she does I go in I slowly go in I go into my shoulders I back out a little bit I make a couple of splashes and I get the hell out of there don't get your hair wet and I said okay noted is that what did yes and that's exactly what I did and it worked out I went back up to collect all my belongings that knockabout and they're like did did you not do it I'm like I already did it I'm out of here I didn't get my hair wet just can't get my hair wet right Sharon says my daughter stopped wearing a jacket at 11 she's a hoodie girl and she doesn't they all they all wear hoodies now exactly Bill bellich started something yeah yeah I got Ries I think about 17 hoodies I got rid of out of my wardrobe this past uh really weekend wow yeah I was like when was the last time I went through them and I was I'm assessed with hoodies I think I buy them for every occasion and every person oh my friend starts a new business oh I'll buy one of your hoodies sure I'll help you I'll support you well then I started looking through I was like have I ever worn this have I when was the last time I wore this and went through I removed 17 right I still have a sell in 35 in there oh my God it's like I a hoarder of hoodies and Mariana all hers are black yeah she's like I can't find my hoodie what color is it honey black okay okay that's no that's no help flipping everything inside oh this one's black that one black this says this this says that she's in that phase yeah and the right one whatever one I find we find it's never the right one and the one she's looking for is like on her bed but she has a pillow on top of it or something yeah kids these days no they're always been that way and we were too we were too I disagree if I didn't have it I just went without it I didn't bother other people I just lived with it that's what we did you didn't have choices that's what you have today okay this is what I have today right would you see I went to Catholic grammar school way back in the day and we had a uniform we had to wear so if I couldn't find the tie I had to find the tie yeah the official tie right and the official blue shirt that's why I would leave it in my locker and the official gray pants yeah otherwise I would get you could show up at school and be told to go home because you didn't have the right tie on the sweater always stayed in the locker probably came home once a month to be laundered I would imagine green sweater with the f on it for exactly it was like over the clothes so it really didn't matter we tested the boundaries of that that handbook we really did we made ribs in our sweaters oh sure we wore Hospital pants they're solid color sister right they revamped that whole hand book because of my class single-handedly it's cold I can't we're SC it's cold we were the boundary pushers they're solid colors right 7ie they're scrubs but they're solid color solid color right and there's no void peeking up my skirts we ruined it for everybody they're now very stringent on dress code because we pushed all of those boundaries it was good times it was so we were inching about talking about football I wasn't really talking about football but also I'm over it I'm ready for it to be over are you waiting for the Patriots to be over all of it yeah it's all like it's bad are we going to keep M Jones no you know why because my husband and my son both bought their jerseys so that's a sure fire way to get you off of our team or dying or murdering somebody or anytime we buy a jersey something bad happens to them so we sailed the the nail in the coffin for you although the two football games that were played yesterday the two ball games were were wonderful games really really good games the first game Texas Arizona overtime it was great and then and then the second game um Oregon just got mugged by Ohio State and that wasn't supposed to happen not an expectation huh not an oh gosh no what are you college football people gonna do what's next for you we're on to basketball on to basketball right college basketball right I guess NFL um Netflix was really glad that they took uh a chance on those two NFL games for Christmas day they spent $150 million to buy those games to cover them live for the NFL wow and uh which one was the big one for them it was the Chiefs and Steelers second most popular live in Netflix history 200 countries bopped in WoW 200 countries bopped in to watch our our football play so yeah pretty interesting I don't I don't mean I I mean I have Netflix we didn't we didn't watch it but I don't know if they go to total streaming I don't I don't think I'd pay for total streaming football yeah we'll probably end up paying for it we buy all the other ones anyway what's up Tara good morning to you happy New Year everyone uh our we don't have a question of the day we just have a if you're G to share a photo share a photo from the holidays they're officially all over everyone they're all over Christmas Hanukkah ended yesterday New Year K Quanza done we're done we're done take a break I told you I need it to be over the celebration the cookie tour the Candy tour the things need to get out of my house I was making chocolate chip cookies last night we don't need this in our life but I wanted to use up the chocolate chips in my house I want them all gone oh so so that was your way to use them up get them up get them gone eat them all please all I have to do is put the smell of chocolate to my son what is that what are you making over there you know what I'm making eat them all get them gone yep get him out of here he's going to be running up and down the court like a bright red cherry tomato for the all full week this week so not worried about it me on the other hand I don't need that in my life I'm feeling every ounce of Ferro rochet that I ingested between Lobster tailes and cookies from cap batter oh I know there has been not one sweet that I'm like no no I've had too much said Stephanie not at all this holiday season no one says it no one says it so I and then and then you're shocked and chagrined I'm not going near who ate all of these I know animals we probably did Sharon said aside from The Polar Plunge do you have any other New Year's traditions no we don't have any New Year's traditions I was not feeling amazing and I just didn't feel like partying so I stayed at home I was supposed to go to a friends party we declined my husband's like do you want to get Chinese food I said no I'm not I everybody in their mother gets Chinese food and if you didn't order it two days in advance I'm not gonna sit there waiting get a parking lot for it no ah there was a gentleman on Nantucket that paid for the 57 orders of Chinese food that were delivered to Nantucket really $25 a piece for the delivery charge wow from Cape Air and he just said in an effort to streamline this whole process I'm paying for everybody's delivery fee let's just get people's food out there so that they can just go and sell there's no Chinese food restaurant out there no you're kidding no so they fly it in that's the one request from any of my Nantucket friends anytime I go there is will you pick up my order at Tiki sure but it's cold by the time it gets there doesn't matter you know Chinese food oh I know you throw in the air fryer that's it we can bring this back to life I I never would have thought that there was no Chinese food on on on Tucket yeah so sweet little I think his name was Bill don't hold me against anything against me if I didn't remember his name properly but I thought it was very nice of him here you go here's $1,500 I can get my Chinese food and go home wow very expensive Chinese order on on New Year's Eve or New Year's Day Mari makes um a roast and Yakir pudding oh it looked fabulous it was fabulous sheu at at New Year's Eve we had the kids over and um and a couple of friends and it was it was fabulous oh my goodness yeah she does once a year maybe twice but it's usually New Year's is when she is when she does I did a ton of meal prep yesterday but it was also what can I repurpose these leftovers for because I need to get them gone so I just cook I made beef stew yesterday I made fried rice yesterday I made like the most random of things I'm like who wants this who wants they're like Mom what are you doing cleaning out my fridge that's what I was doing so I'm ready to go lunch has been prepped for the rest of the week I'm looking forward to that wow right and that was all in an effort just to make some clean space in my fridge because I was sick of looking at it oh so this isn't going to continue no no probably not I mean I like it to I feel accomplished when I do that I eat out less when I do that I like to start the new year off you know I had my big Journal yesterday and I spent an hour by myself going through the journal about what my goals are going to be this year what is the most important thing doing all these things I was fully alone in my home how did that happen which is been a never so I really sat there and and took the time although it kind of May me a little depressed I got to be honest I'm used to chaos you all alone I'm used to chaos and I was all alone stuck with you had to two animals I did I I had the dog and the cat like what are we doing here guys so that's what I got got into I put new sheets on the bed did my comforter you know a lot of home stuff that has been slightly neglected and uh just getting myself prepped for trying to feel a little normal into a routine I guess really yeah I guess that was my New Year's routine cleansing the cleansing the cleanse y good organized I mean I sat down with my you know 20 25 organizer here and rtb did the entry also includes sad poems shut your mouth looked for you last night rtb alone I did kind of scoot over to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in um induction ceremonies and didn't see a buddy but I guess it's because you went with her I am utterly alone no sad poems and I did not get to watch the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame but I heard it was a good one him and John got to go instead this year and they had a great time they missed some live performances by inches apparently there was a big huge Afterparty oh really that they were like just a second away had they walked through the right door they would have been right there all right and then they connected with a couple of women that were like where were you you should have come in the door and they were like we were tired we went to bed we missed everything I saw cool in the gang they were excellent I love cool in the gang were excellent and for one celebration that was not oh my God it's celebration again it was really cool to hear them play it live well there's only what one or two two of them yes I think still from the OG band Yes because um when one of them get up to speak he he paused and asked everyone to remember this whole list of guys yeah yeah who had been part of I saw them open up for Van Halen weirdly um it was the weirdest show ever at the Garden probably about I want to say 10 years ago and uh it was so many it was the young kids that were running the front house of the band so it was still really a good Lively show because they had some new dancers and singers in the front so I I pepped it up just a little bit Co is cool is still alive yeah he's the bass player he's the founder and then whoever the lead singer is I don't I'm drawing a blank on his name those are I think the only two Originals left there were older guys in the horn section but I just think they just older guys who play horns and there's one or two more than a beach boy yeah listen our music is not changed who is that it person of our decade it's Taylor Swift but who did we have oh boy well I mean we're Prince we're different Generations so yeah you know for me I think it was Prince Madonna I mean I had Jimmy Hendrick I mean I had the really cool music guys yeah because one the time that the time that I grew up but speaking about weird concerts I went to beu and and in order to balance everything and make everything was make everything Fair they'd have these these concerts at um I a Serena I guess it was with two totally different bands that'd be an R&B band yeah and then it'd be a rock band so it's not that wild that we went and S Pool and the gang in Van Halen this day and age it's weird but no one one of the concepts was and this these names probably don't mean anything to any of you with blue magic with R&B band all guys all in blue and they're dancing and everything around they were the opening act for them Delany and Bonnie doesn't mean anything to any of you but it was cool I'm old I'm sorry no that's okay you shouldn't be sorry Delany and Bonnie in friends oh Google them always in friends I love the in friends yes who is it any musician that birthdays are tough you know I complained about my birthday being the day after Christmas which which is difficult but everyone of my friends thank you very much Sharon included came through showed up Lauren thank you so much Tanya and uh who else if you if I've forgotten to mention you Jane um Tommy we had so many wonderful people booping and sing some karaoke it looked like fun we were looking we were looking at the photos up but uh it was just U Jen we just had a really nice evening couple of hours well behaved couple of snacks couple of karaoke things and sattin sattin our 80s for a little while so we've got some planned parties coming up that I want to talk to you about uh one including at dos we got a mowtown party coming up excellent so January 17th we're hoping that you'll join us if you're looking for something to do shake off the doldrums of winter and just looking to have a dance party a little bit it's 8 to 11 we're going to be at dins and uh it's just going to be a Motown themed party so this is going to be kicking off our Friday nights over at dos which that's really cool yeah so it's gonna be Friday night social and it's going to be a mix of some of our new games that we're going to be testing out yep uh um Cap Cod Feud uh I forget last man standing smartest man in the room we've got a couple of other fun games that we're going to be trying out and always a dance party so that's gonna be from 8 to 11 every single Friday night at dins moving from Monday to Friday right so some shifts in our scheduling right right and sort of like counterprogramming on Dino's part oh yeah for sure everybody's going to ban we're going to do something different yeah yeah you got to do it yeah you know that's what it's like we're going to be making some on Lemon Ado as notification yesterday for the Aurora Borealis but we can't see it here though I don't no apparently there was a moment in which we could have seen it here which is why I got the notification Oh I thought I had R you couldn't it was more like in in the northern part of the country yeah well it always is there it's not normally here but we got a text message saying it might be possible and there's Stephanie outside Land of the Lost where where where where's it possible how do I see it ridiculous what's Mari got planned for the month of January I know a lot of people are jumping into dry January right right we just had the contest that was judged by um our the Noel yes someone made Christmas made Rolls you know the Christmas cake B they're giant SSS cake rolls GI they they're fabulous they look they look really great Natasha was impressed so to impress Natasha is a really good thing to do yeah for sure yep we'll have another contest coming up on Cape Cod dining at home and everywhere else and if you're not a member you should be it's a nice group Mari tolerates no BS you if you're nasty if you get political you're gone so everyone everyone really feels comfortable in the group um going to try to bring back some people who were involved in the beginning and and who were um real um I say popular were had had a lot of fans who kind of you know got away for um any any number of well you didn't begin this group in the pandemic so I mean we you had a Captiva of audience right there but I think as January is here everybody is reassessing their things we're going to eat out a little bit less things are going to be a little bit slower we're going to be trying to eat healthy and get on that space where we're like let's kick off the year before three weeks later we're back to our old selves but we're gonna start off the best we can right right right or maybe it is that you're making lasting changes has anybody out there got real New Year's resolutions that you can keep oh the one year the one word New Year's resolution that I was talking you you know what it is no no learn to say no I like that I like that a lot there is a weird news story that a man went viral for that had me thinking no a Reddit post about a man's blunt reaction to a vacation hike in Arizona has gone viral uhhuh I'm asking over 600,000 reactions The Man known as NES Lucas shared a story of hiking with his brother over the holidays despite disliking walking at all let alone uphill after completing the hike his brother asked if he had fun and his honest reply was no no right and the point of learning to say no is you control your own life you control your own destiny if you don't want to do something it's okay to say no well that's exactly it they said and the sun will rise the next day it sparked Lively debates about honesty politeness and familial bonds right well how many times do you accept an invitation to some places you really don't want to go and then you find yourself going and you're saying what am I doing here I just should have said no but I couldn't say no because I didn't want to hurt their Fe say no it's okay to say no good morning to our friends over at mindful goat yoga good morning beautiful people right back to you uh yeah it is okay to say no we had a family dust up yesterday oh God love my family I knew we weren't GNA I wasn't going to escape the holidays with what one piece of BS that I had to ingest from them your your immediate little family or the lar no my immediate little family is fine we're all fine everybody this is the larger one where we start adding in aunts and uncles in Crazy Town which I kind of pulled myself away from Crazy Town this year yes you did and it was a really nice quiet holiday everybody got along things are great you know obviously my kids are going to be my kids and they're going to fight about dumb stuff that's what they do sure however yesterday there was a group chat happy new year started off nice miss everybody love everybody let's have a family reunion then two no two numbers got added in there are some extra people that were added into the safe group chat of the safe group chat of family members that were involved this one leaves the conversation this one leaves the conversation and then one of the other odds starts getting into it why I tried to do this because I loved everybody and wanted to bring everybody together and then it just got nastier and nastier and nastier so I know that there's something going on and I reached out to one of my aunts and I was like did I miss something right you don't know the half of it obviously I don't I don't want to know and you know what she saved me from it because she was just like no this there's just a lot going on I'm like great I am so glad you are not involved me in this WOW but for a solid 30 minutes it continued for about 4 hours while people were slowly either leaving the chat or like happy New Year trying not to jump into this love you guys see my my favorite was one of my aunts 10 hours later 11 o'clock at night happy new year everybody's left the room she's like I'm here where is everybody you didn't tell me you were gonna be here oh I wasn't about to leave this chat I wanted to know how it ended where we're gonna end here this this just needed to happen so I apologize if you had any weird interactions with your families over the holidays good bad and or otherwise that you were just like why do I hang out with these people the answer of the day Hank said and we're allowed to is no perfect now there's a controversy at The Villages oh well first of all I got yelled at yesterday morning by the by The Slowdown lady so my my year got off to a great start I was being a good boy I was going 8:30 mask because that's what I'm supposed to do and I'm driving 22 miles an hour speed limit 20 down the road and slow down lady started screaming hadn't seen her in a while maybe she was well whatever um so my they started off right it should be right but there's a controversy because some residents have started a resident Facebook page oh why is that controversial well they use the name Southport Y and apparently not supposed to do that and I don't think management really liked it can they keep you from doing that I feel like you should all talk and have a community together you all bought to live in there right no you really can't I don't think you can stop that no they they tried to you know you can't username Southport whatever so they I I think with they're afraid of is and we know this because we follow these Pages all the time that it's going to turn into a Towny page absolutely is a Towny page it's a smaller Towny page it's a village page it's a village page and when you consider the demographics of The Villages they got nothing but time on their hands nothing else to do but to you have to keep us updated somebody didn't you know take take three leaves off my driveway it's time to fire get in this group stir the pot oh walk away and see what happens it's it's going to be Tanya says I feel like only white men have the privilege to say no as a woman we've got many more obstacles to take on in consideration of saying no we have children and everything else too and of course being polite and nice but maybe that's just me I don't think it's you I think it's way harder for us to say no I feel like that's that's giving the permission to say no is sometimes that all we need to take sometimes you have to give yourself you have to give yourself permission to say no exactly tell yourself it's okay if I say no you don't have to do what you don't want to do I know I know but and we do that so many times but it is harder for women I'm telling you it is just because we have so many more things being thrown at us you're not wrong um you just we got it takes practice do one thing say no to one thing and then wait for the guilt then let that CA that for me it's Catholic guilt I assign it that way anyway but then I let gu subside it's Catholic guil we're both Catholic it's Catholic guil then I let that subside and then I say no to another thing and you know what at the end of the year this year I said no to a lot of things and I wasn't feeling as guilty so I feel like it's definitely like one of those things like a muscle as we're all rushing to the gym and everybody's getting their gym memberships and it looks like I don't know people are rushing off the Titanic to get in those gyms right now as your muscle are sore and as you start slopping these off you know if you stick with it it gets a little bit easier over time so does and you have some Irish in you so there's nothing worse I have a lot of Irish in me there's nothing worse than Irish Catholic 100% nothing worse yeah oh no I know but I'm I'm not bending to it why do you think I was running off to 8:30 Mass tomorrow yesterday morning because it was a holy day I could feel my M you going to church I'm also Portuguese and stubborn so there's that wow there's plenty of it to go around you're tough we should practice I know you got to be you gotta be hi Lynn so good to see you I've been living vicariously through your beautiful food on social media hey Lynn and enjoying your holiday celebrations we're all over the holidays though we need to we need to close that chapter we were talking about or I was talking about the Kennedy Center Honors and Lynn put up a picture of her husband was like on the sound crew or something so cool he was like in the in the back and he had all the the equipment and everything in in in front of him oh yeah I did see you remark that it was one of the best shows you've seen it was fabulous oh my goodness it was fabulous they started off with Bonnie R who doesn't love a good Bonnie rate tune Dave Matthews and Emmy Lou Harris sang A Bonnie R song Oh I like that and then at the end they did The Grateful Dead and everybody who had been a guest through the night came out and and they all sing they all sang Dead songs fun I think uh it's just one of those bands that I'll sit back and listen to and just chill to probably forever right yeah there was a meme that I saw you know why are you on face and it's like somebody just listening to music with the whole chaos of the world going on around them sometimes you just need to find your Zen your space and for us it's music Tunes they even I I forget what song they did but they began it with the video of Jerry singing it and then the band all kind of joined in with the video cute all right maybe it's something I'll look for it was really cool no it's a really really really I can't find anything on television right now 4,000 streaming services and everything is garbage so oh that was me last night when I couldn't find the news and the football game was over I'm going like this there's nothing my husband had me watching this murder in a small town I'm I'm not suggesting to go watch it because it was absolutely the worst acting I've ever seen in my my entire life uh worst than the Hallmark Channel it was it was right up there it was Hallmark it was Hallmark Channel if there were murderers to solve okay well there is a Hallmark Mystery Channel all right so it's basically yeah that's what this should have been on as the Hallmark Mystery Channel it was just it was absolutely God awful and I'm like what he was like do you want to go to the movies and I said yeah but then we both got busy doing work I can't tell you the last movie I went to go see I haven't seen Wicked my daughter came in I went and saw n be available cable shortly Wicked yeah I saw that so I was like oh okay I won't rush out to do it by the way our monthly prize on lemonade it was a family four pack of passes to go to the FMA Cinema Pub which is one of my favorite places to go watch a movie the seats are comfortable there's no like pushing people out of your way it's nice it's comfortable you can have a meal you can have a snack It's Not Just Popcorn being jammed in a seat so um that is our monthly prize this month for music Bingo but then my daughter said that she went and saw NOS feratu did anybody see that scary William defo apparently there were it's number three yeah you're the movie guy it's number three it seemed very weird to me 2,000 trained rats all right I touched a snake at Lauren's place that was enough for me we heard all about you touching the snake let's not go there we're going to start off the new year right rodents 2,000 trained rodents and William defo said they were the excellent most excellent co-hosts he could have ever had oh he's a weirdo right he always plays a weirdo he's mastered that role of villain weirdo yep yep I'm I'm trying to look up my June two is great but long oh I'll watch that the Hallmark Channel is still showing Christmas movies wish they are and Lynn's husband is an audio video engineer very very cool else now is that a kids movie or or is that a movie that adults are gonna go see because Sonic 2 has has been around for a long time probably both you get the Nostalgia piece and they always work some sort of adult thematics into these things like SpongeBob where you're watching it and going is this going over kids heads or this is okay this like fresh I like The Flintstones it was always never mind I had a good laugh about The Flintstones when they had the picture of them celebrating Christmas and somebody said what are they celebrating very good I like right why did we not question this why did no one question this seriously I never you're right you're right the other movie that's out this week and that's doing um really well is is uh what's it called a complete unknown which is the Bob Dylan movie oh but it's Timothy shalam and I can't I don't know now my daughter was like oh dethy sham oh my God we were talking about it on at dinner on on on New Year's Eve she her her Generations it guy her generation's Johnny Depp which is why they had him play Wonka right because that's her generation and the older ones amongst us at the table were going who H but also like uh like I I don't know he's too thin for me b b dlan was kind of fair they had a Timothy sham lookalike contest that Timothy shalamay actually showed up to in New York City and then they got find the
