what saraphina and I were in a entrepreneurial book club where Stephanie never read the right book and Stephan was terrible at this book I really suck at book club I did not fabulous I'm what I just knockabout live and uh wrapping up spring break Mash P woohoo yay I'm so happy to be going back to the The Gauntlet of academic prowess so so good at that look at you with big words yeah I'm learning yay want to tell everybody about your great week this week o what didn't I do guys um I slept I ate and what a really fun thing that I did was I slept some more after I ate did any of your friends like go away like Mak you jealous your roommate is in Tibet right now no she's not in Nepal my roommate's from Nepal gotcha but she's just she's at a wedding right now and like really cool really big parties she's wearing her traditional clothing and it's just so pretty and her food is really so I mean obviously that's an extreme of someone that went for a wedding it was not necessarily spring break but they're away doing cool stuff yeah like none of my friends that I know they're just here like suffering in the off season with everyone else and we're all commiserating today's nice it's sunshiny today beautiful no yesterday was nice too it was actually yeah no it's it's freezing and also our our furnace is still broken so and I live in the basement yeah y y oh I'm freezing my seller dweller she's so happy it's my dungeon it's literally my grandma dungeon there's lace everywhere you've been having fun this week though you've had friends over yeah I've had friends over for like four days in a row and the only time she cleaned was for them not us um during the week she spent all week long we got a dumpster we did get a dumpster let me just tell you it's completely full it is full actually yeah yes I oh yeah 100% shout out to our friends what is Grace's company again we dump it we dump it thank you thank you no she was awesome because Cliff spent the first day and a half freaking out about it because it was so rainy that day that it filled up with water did and so he went and bought this like pump and something else I'm not PID for that water PP broke and the pump broke so then the pump broke and I texted Grace and I was like just so and she goes oh my God Stephanie no we dump we drain it of the water before we weigh it thank God so that was a a good fun laugh what's up Morgan I'm going to miss you on 420 this year because it happens to be Easter I was just like looking out I it's gonna be a good Easter is what I'm hearing everyone's gonna be hungry we're gonna all be happy good Easter do not old enough for that or I'm saying everyone but not me just saying I hear it's gonna be a great Easter that's it much better I fear it's going to be a great EAS here we are at knockabout Route 130 in Mash p and they've got a great menu I gotta tell you they're stepping up their food their food is actually really freaking good yes their pizzas are like crunchy at the bottom and then they're like thin enough and then the cheese is really good well that's it they're they're going over and modifying their menu um to come into summer season this is the season of try new things and they've been super busy from comedy shows to uh they've got a cookie decorating Workshop shout out to our friends over at cookies RN that is happening April 16th they've been doing some pottery stuff with our friend Ariel um her stuff is so amazing it's beautiful I know oh my God she needs to bring that to the farmer Robbie what's what's her Instagram I always oh siggies sigy Ceramics so definitely follow her and catch up with her because she does do workshops here at the brewery occasionally what's up Erin Erin I missed you last week it was Patty's and I really wanted to see all of her fabulous crochet Creations uh but I was not able to get my life together I've been dealing with my sinuses it's been miserable what's up Susan Seth happy Sunday Funday ladies hey I won't be there either I'll be having good eats with the family but there will be still lots of fun going on hi Tom I'm sorry I missed you yesterday I love you so I'm glad that I'm far away and it doesn't look too crazy right now but if you see me in person I feel like my eyebrows look a little too crazy they're really bad sh botom L they're not really bad johnanne is one of uh my pigmenta who got it done no I've seen her heal work it is fantastic it's just weird seeing my mother with eyebrows because they used to be blonde so now it's just like the the double of have them being there and then them being darker than they're supposed to be right now because it's like the oxidation process we're in a healing process right now it's a regular tattoo I know and my family has called me everything from Mike Tyson to an Angry Bird to Uncle Leo um I what was today's latest I don't even know what Dad called me today and not used to you having um Expressions what's up CH said he's like oh are you surprised I said shut I can tell I can tell wow my family apparently loves me yes so much so so go ahead drop all of your mocking eyebrow comments I know AJ was very excited it is a little mommy de it's literally J Crawford to the back are you gonna like yell at me about wire hangers I might good morning Dan we're looking for wire hangers all around the scavenger hunt today knockout no there it's an animal SC scavenger hunts really cute I love it it's super cute so do a lot of activities for the kids yeah Saturdays are family days here at knockabout and they've got scavenger hunts that sometimes have a patting Zoo just look ahead on their social media and follow them because there's an event every single day from music Bingo to trivia to uh delt game night and Beyond I know Brendan princy is going to be playing here in a couple of weeks uh and yeah they do have family fun days every single Saturday and then Saturday Night Live where they've got a live musician uh and so many good ones too so definitely check that out you can always count on Lily to Humble you I know right what's up Emily she's got her big eyes on me right listen it's going to heal and it's going to look like you never noticed me without eyebrows before don't but right now I can't even wash them so it's very frustrating go ahead get it all out can't there's much more to come I'm going to keep doing it every day till I go back to school so we have to suffer so I've got beach chair is back on draft here at knockabout it's one of our fan favorites and uh I'm going to have one of these and drown my eyebrow W isn't it we are planning over the mash B chamber for our golf tournament right now also our magazine so if you're local business make sure that you get your ads to me this week because we are going to print with that in a little bit and this is lasting for a full year whether you want to put it in um a coupon or anything it's a guide book what is the first thing when we travel as a family guide book everywhere you hit it yep you guys do you and your brother and then you fought about it so now you both get your own and you pour through it finding what's good in the town right that we do from tours to places to shops and list fun guys come on get it in there well we travel well too as a family we do and that that helps with traveling to be honest with you it just like gives you a lay of the land what to do right I mean take them with us I have so many guide books from all the places that we' visited I know I know but it's definitely one of those things that I encourage everybody to get involved in in Mash B um I will caution you I got an interesting mailer this week from the town of mashby mashby archives and it said dear mashby chamber members and I was like huh but the listings of all of your businesses in mashby are in our guide book so if someone sat there and took the time to find all of the businesses in mashie with the guide book and use the directory and then make themselves a mailer Richard disorg I'm not mad at you you took a lot of time putting that together and they're doing a great thing it's for our veterans so if you'll notice in our town um um park that's over here and it's also an overflow parking area for mashpi for knockabout because of where we're we're situated next to the beach and whatnot there's an overflow which is Town parking uh so it's all in our Veterans Park they are raising money for their flags that they have for every Mash B veteran um that has ever served to have some just presents which I think is really nice I know and the upkeep that they do they really it's not like he's out there trying to like make a big buck off of it he just wants to pay for the cost of the flags and the photos of the people that served in our town so I think it's super awesome shout out to our friends over at quash I'm excited to see how their putt tournament turned out it was a big fundraiser for them but they made basically the entire school at quashen a mini golf course what and it was a fundraiser where was this one I went to caution it guys exactly I thought it was so thoughtful and fun and a great little fundraiser I mean had kite day that was Emily's throwing me eyebrows right now zip it lady you're gonna see him in person tomorrow we got a full list of activities this week for lemon Ado our finals are happening on Tuesday we've got three final teams for our Tournament of Champions now that does not mean that you can't play and win regular trivia on Tuesday it just means you're not in the running for the overnight stay at Margaritaville uh and water park passes which is a pretty awesome giveaway we're actually doing the ribbon cutting for the greater hyenes chamber uh at Margaritaville on Thursday I'm teaming up with Marty burmel and lemonade was going to do a live feed so we're gonna get some footage from you from the water park their cool bars their uh coffee bar their different oh my gosh if you've not been into the new Margarita I definitely suggest yeah it is not like that water park that used to be totally up there Auntie it's beautiful in there right now and they've taken painstaking um Renovations it's well it did take a long time for them to get that out didn't it yeah it's really nice and they still have a Ryan's family amusements that's in there in oh I know right it's not so it's definitely going to be the highlight of a tourist attraction for us right now and those palm trees out front by the way are real yes real palm trees living here on keep them alive so I had this awesome conversation with Giani who is their marketing director and he said that they found this one species of palm tree that lives in like China on like the border of like our kind of similar to our climate that's so weird right but that's so cool though how did they get it over here so they transplanted well obviously they ordered them and they a lot of money probably yes that is not cheap no probably not oh Uncle Dave says hi Lily hi she said I think we need to take a lemonade o trip there absolutely I agree actually lookie and said I can't zoom in and check out all the eyebrows good I'm glad you can zoom it afterwards Clos get closer I'm not get closer yeah I'll get closer when they're healed right now you can see me from far away I'm like Marla Hooch from League of Their Own what a h just like a blank white canvas and then my eyebrows are just showing through I also have no other makeup on right now and they were already trying to talk to me about like the permanent eyeliner and I'm like girls let me get through this you were even debated taking that appointment too she was like I'm scared about the healing process I'm like it's okay it's going to look great doesn't mean I can't give her little no you were really kind about it actually after it was done because I was just looking in the mirror and I was like I hated it I cried on the way home she kept trying to rationalize it in her head because she like obviously it's going to look better with time it's your face it is your face and she's like I li does it look okay L does it look okay I'm like yes it's fine they had to do that because of etcc but talk about that app thing that you used to like groom so like that made me feel a little bit better you're actually were very nice about it so when you look at your face you just get so used to it they your eyebrows look like super super normal and then I had this app where it like inverts your face and then you can see that your face isn't fully symmetrical and then then I started using that to do my eyebrows instead and then when I flipped it back and I looked at it like wow they look like like this like crazy you know what I mean like longdistance twins not even like long distance cousins not even sisters but then since you were doing that you use that now as a age I do to like even on my eyebrows so I was telling her if she did that maybe it'll look normal to her not obviously it looks normal to me she's the eyebrow police in our house my favorite is when she grabs my son by the face and grooms him it's so bad he gets such a horrible unow and he won't do anything about it I'm like dude okay listen he's at home right now doing driver's ad and I have to talk about my most not fine moment yesterday in mothering oh I got a twin Hing irritated yesterday Bing and wrote a very nasty gram to the driver's ed school and I feel the need to apologize for being public apology this is a public apology Trot her out I'm not going to name names and I'm not gonna name schools I'm just gonna say that I had a not proud mom moment yesterday in which my son missed both of his drivers and for he miss both both of them I thought he only missed one no both of them because he logged in with the wrong name and one's Fair because he does have a nickname and I do understand that they have 30 other schools and kids and things that are moving parts and they've got to report to the RMV about their who's in the class and who did what and I know it has to be very specific and I even said to my son is it because you didn't use the name Clifford and he was like that's not why look at the portal blah blah blah blah well that's it it was probably definitely because why yeah um so I proceeded to unleash 10 years of driver's ed drama trauma on this woman all the things that we went through with you all the things that we went through with your sisters all the things that we went through going through the school and this poor woman was like if you want to refund and you're already frustrated please take it ma'am she was just ready to give it up oh my God I was like I'm sorry I know it's not you it's me and I did I really have to apologize because I totally Unleashed on this woman you needed to air your grievances it was a decade wor of dealing with stupid bureaucracy it'll always that was just Unleashed on a Saturday morning where I was a little bit grumpy and I'm healing so that's an excuse that's our excuse that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it she can't do anything she can't work out she can't she can't exist in a public space right now thank you Margie and thank you Joanna she said I just got permanent eyeliner no pain oh very curious to see what that looks like you're gonna have to text me an up close photo because I'm going to want to see it yeah right I want to see right well thank you guys so much for joining us here this morning I want to give a huge shout out to mash P TV they captured our annual dinner and I know a lot of people wanted to see the annual dinner um shout out to Rachel Blackburn who works in our chamber office she's a high school senior at mashby high she's so highspeed she worked on a flyer for us for our golf tournament and made sure that they were posted in the mash B Library um on every cork board in Mash B and this is because of her and she like took photographic evidence ofation dude I just love the fact that I don't have to micromanage a high school senior I think that we weren't I'm I'm not a high school Senor anymore obviously not that bad we not that bad dude we're not that bad I am so excited working with your former Alma moer oh right I don't like by the way still doesn't have a license I'm just throwing that out there and now it's public shame now it's now it's public airing her grievance is not shame it's not shame you don't want it you're afraid it's okay you live in a place where you can have public transportation and get to the places you know well yeah and are you not a rock star on their public transportation now I do love public transports well right yes you're saving the environment I am Le guys lean into it and speaking of which I just have to show you one more time a big hurdle this is happening and we're so excited Canal region Farmers Market is happening we are having a meeting this week with Marie Oliva over at the canal region Chamber of Commerce and we're going to be attaching it to canal days it's going to be Thursday evenings from 3: until 7 so there's already built-in traffic there's already music being played 10 short weeks um it's a quick summer season and uh that's going to be pretty much it and uh I'm really excited to work with this chamber I'm really excited to add to an event that is already super popular we're just adding food and we're adding some um ability for you to use your SNAP benefits there's no grocery store close by so it's just a really nice area to add some food gray area there so if you're out there watching and you know of a great farm that we should be including or if you know of an awesome vendor making some cool Foods whether it's sauces or chees people bread I know we'll take absolutely anybody at this point right now we're really excited to do this and uh make some awesome offerings you get a small little membership over at the canal region Chamber just like we did in Mash we're not recreating the wheel we're just rinsing and repeating shout out to our friends over at Old places Lauren I love Lauren we love Lauren in this house well because we don't have the ability to have a knockabout with us over at Canal um that creates a deficit for our budget right and so Lauren said how much money do we need to run this market and I said five six six grand so I sent her the budget and I said it's about $6,000 and um she said I'm going to do a fundraiser where I'm and she did this last year I love her man where she was raising money for her vdub bus but ended up getting her shop and use that money so what she's doing it's a four mile swim it takes three and a half hours from the lobster trap all the way to I forget what island it is and then back and uh so you can sponsor her by the mile you can just make a donation and she's giving all of that money to the canar region Farmers Market because she believes in the mission but also I'm it's amazing she's like how much 's also the president of the Bourn youth Council so she sees the vision and how many young people came out and supported volunteered got together and it was just such a healthy great environment for our kids and uh she wants to do the same thing in her community which is literally that markets across the street from her shop at all places and if you're looking for a place that hosts birthday parties or fun Community connections uh that is the space she's got a a art studio along with it is spectacular it's like I can't it's like what you dream about having as a kid and I still had fun as like an 18-year-old adult right like I walked in there and I was like oh my God this is like the the best place I've ever been part no seriously Margie says she looks forward to Thursdays now oh good I'm so glad Joanna airing of grievances is only to be supposed to be on Festivus is it because I have Uncle Leo eyebrows greetings from De Moine I did because I know five people who ended up in the ER because of like alcohol poisoning and like drug and disorderly I know a dude who was arrested and then he printed out his mug shot find them and gave them away oh College meanwhile Lily's like I'm coming home I'm like thank you for being you could be way worse oh it could be way way way worse I'm just excited that you said yes to doing this
