Tavern in the basement that is decked out like Moe's Tavern from um The Simpsons with like a pool table they've got every single amenity there so when a child with cancer and their family go and spend the week at Tommy's place it's for their entire family everything is paid for everything is cared for they just get to go and be a kid play dress up whatever kind of thing that they love and it's it's magical so I mean it's pretty incredible thank you to Tommy's place for doing what they do wonderful yeah but they always need people so if you are a landscaper they're looking for pavers they're looking for a couple of other privacy things they've got you know some neighbor issues uh and uh some mulch I think that they're looking for some driveway stuff like there's no shortage of stuff so if you are a landscaper out there right now or know someone that has extra stuff from a job donate it to Tommy's place just get a hold of them inbox them DM them and they will absolutely happily take whatever it is that you have to donate because there are two houses now that need stuff in Falmouth and Centerville so they're they're just making magical vacations for kids with cancer I will help your night last night I heard you had a wild one oh my gosh who knew things could get crazy in a Asian restaurant in Mashpee Mash B we refer to it as the Cantina you just never know who's gonna stop in and say hello Smorgasbord right it totally is yeah so what happened um I know you were a little miffed about your noodles yeah or was it your rice so I went to dinner with my neighbor and um I got whatever with lo mein noodles and she got fried rice and at the end we're packing up our stuff and I look over and I it was I was too late to yep she had dumped her rice on my noodles and I'm like what are you doing oh she's like what I thought you'd want it leftovers I'm like who eats rice with noodles so you're you're a strictly one carb person you can't mix the rice with it you're in the mood for one or the other and if you mix them together it's double carbs and Lindsay's not having that no by the way Lindsay is a chef by trade so it's not like she's just this crazy person who doesn't like her food so I picked out the I picked out the rice yeah yeah I did once again finding your hands and food yeah I don't care it was my food and I was gonna eat it and then I took a survey and I asked everyone and this man behind was with um his wife but I was like I asked her I'm like honestly she's cute fit I said would you eat rice and noodles and she was like I go exactly exactly you don't get that cute eating rice and noodles together okay that's what I'm talking about I have to apologize I'm so junky but this this pollen season has got me I'm really okay I am hit too I feel swampy like my brain is swampy everything's itchy I feel like I'm in a um underwater tank yeah right constantly yeah like like you can hear fish both of my kids sounds terrible poor Cody is a uh uh I'm like what sport are we in right now baseball game yeah baseball game today and even yesterday I picked him up from uh practice he's just like oh I'm like oh you sound separate yeah it's gross I mean it's really gross it is bad so him and Kenzie both are just not loving this I mean it's nice to have the windows open finally and with that and I put my um sound machine with rain on a tent try that out folks out like a light but I wake up like yeah like so a garbage pail kid that's what I feel like I haven't thought of Garbage Pail Kids in so long I am leaky Lindsay remember when those came out everyone was like leaky Lindsay I'm like I'm not I'm having flashbacks now just waiting on the bathroom wall don't be friends with leaky Lindsay mean I cannot deal so good but at least it's not on social media because then they would really like where are you you're supposed to be here right now you do know that this is Greg's day and you're just riding in I don't like how you said that at all what after the Leaky Lindsay comments yeah I mean why don't you just put rice on my noodles we're done here um the pressing issue Lindsay I don't know he was supposed to come Greg this is his day it's all good though I made some coffee we're all over here itching scratch and having issues cheers I had a Greg I had an important thing to talk to you about today since you were the former nominee of Mayor of unofficial mayor of Hyannis I had I had stuff to talk to you about today oh seriously so if you're still in the area please come swing through we're waiting on you chair is ready microphone's warmed up just missing you uh wait I don't like that I'm warming it up well you've got to go to work too tell everybody where you work and what you do your fabulousness I work at Anejo in Falmouth and we are opening up a to-go place or they are um and there's a taco truck I saw it I saw it on the loose it's so cute it is really cute so it will be out this Saturday um from four to eight I don't know the exact it's by DJ Wings yay oh so where it's parked right now is where it will be yep okay in that parking lot right across the street from the Christmas Tree Shop yeah I don't know how I feel about that I know and I'm especially upset about the Christmas tree shop at the Sagamore Bridge because that is where I would always go with my nana I would go with my nana and we would make Cape trips and we would come to the cape we'd go over the bridge and you could buy whatever crap you want yeah we would go to coffees we would go and eat at um Sandy's seafood and then we would stop at that Christmas tree shop and I just I remember the smell of it the excitement of it my nana let me buy whatever I wanted I know like it was just so I have so many great memories but specifically the smell of that freaking cinnamon broom when you walk into that room and like the way that that grass roof thing that they have I just it's like a certain smell and experience for me is so nostalgic and I'm so sad about it so it's only a couple for now that one and the one in Falmouth is closing and yeah I hadn't been in that one it is really nice it is a cute it's an okay one I like the one in Hyannis better but the one in Hyannis is busy I don't know if they're gonna we're gonna leave that one too it was um I could see it because there weren't as many people in it oh okay yeah that's what it was I was like what is this oh customers so I know the one in Falmouth and the one in Sagamore are closing but I don't know about the one in Hyannis with the cute little Clock Tower thing that they've got going on over there that would be a little bit sad they all were quirky Jerry's out on that clock thing yeah quirky it's one of those like weird little things that you just become accustomed to I know but when you're late for something and you're running out and all of a sudden you hear you're always late for something I'm like the little rabbit from Alice in Wonderland that's who I am somebody posted a meme of the uh no it was Alice from Alice in Wonderland they were like I relate to her because she keeps eating and drinking things hope it's gonna change and nothing ever changes and I was like you're right yeah truth I relate to you Alice yeah facts for Alice yeah so I am super sad about the Christmas tree shopping that is that is a little uh I know but they're competing now that I get it they can buy everything wherever we are getting really poshy like with their new line of sheets and towels and be what you are and stop trying to be more bougie than you are keeping trash that you don't need that's what we like all right so what's going on in your dating life right now because I met um a gentleman this week yes we brought him to see you we yeah um things are going okay he uh isn't that love right there things are going okay I mean no I like him he's still I like him he's a really nice guy girls we did watch we did watch Step Brothers what did he think he left but not like not like he should have laughed oh my God not like the dot like yeah so now I'm trying to find a movie to make him die laughing okay that's the mission yeah I started watching the heat with him with Sandra Bullock I still think that that's hysterical oh my God the whole kitchen table scene right no even when they're trying to sell the house yeah they're mowing the lawn wearing different outfits yeah I mean that are inappropriate those are CL those are Classics yeah you need to be laughing more than you I know good morning Marie yeah I don't know I gotta find a movie to really get him dying I was thinking uh this is 40. um because he's kind of the girly thing maybe maybe that one will yeah I know Marie she's like your description just got me a little in my feels good morning John good morning Amy and Nicole but he does drive to come here which is huge right um when I have to work early and then the only thing is he doesn't like a label like if I say the word boyfriend he gets it's been over three months because that comes with expectations when there are labels I know but what am I supposed to say if I'm talking to a co-worker this is the guy I'm seeing Oh I think of awful things that I would like what oh this is the guy that um I don't yeah that's what I'm saying we don't need any describing adjectives in there well I hate adjectives to begin with they gross me out for whatever reason don't ask don't get all moist on me Lindsay I gotta be careful because I think I'm on the wrong screen and I was hitting robot noises so I have to be careful I kind of like the robot is the robot gone is he gone do I sound like a robot yes I do no okay because you're you're the one with the headphones that can tell I have to be careful when I hit them because I actually can't hear myself oh so play something else and I'll see no I'm not gonna go there with robot noises today because I'll forget about him and then I'll be doing commercials I didn't have enough coffee to be on the draw to right that you sounded like a robot for the rest of them I'm not in Tip Top brain wave shape today it's already Thursday I've got my second and last Hyannis yacht club tonight I'm a little Misty about it I know it's summertime but I'm so not ready for summer um I'm not prepared I'm so like my backyard looks like there was a war back there I don't know what happened I'm not either and I realized like all winter I've been trying to watch what I eat to get ready for summer now that Summer's here I'm like well you didn't do a good job so you might as well just eat what you want all right not having a me too right now so it's like you know what zero F's and I'm gonna go get a donut right I got put in a new medication in January and then probably put on 30 pounds so I'm like whatever I'm just accepting of my body the way it is the way whatever form it is yeah you can get my bikini I got a cute chunky girl suit this summer and I'm rocking it and I don't care I have a normal one that's just gonna everything can ooze out the sides and I don't care it's not even a thing for you it's a stop well it is how about once I was at hey lady Sandy neck Beach yeah off-roading and my friend and I are walking and she decides to tell me that my bathing suit is inappropriate and I should be yeah but I believe that but I would never tell you that in the middle of the beach and there's nothing I can do I don't think I would ever say that to you and I just said to her um pardon and then she said I should be wearing boy shorts and I go okay pick out any lady right now on the beach I just would never say that to a friend of mine I would never tell them how to dress anywhere well sometimes I don't want to know no you don't know her and she's not my friend anymore oh well then perfect not because of that I still was a friend after and I shouldn't have been that was mean see because then she invited me to her um parents pool and I even bought a family-friendly bikini just to wear to their house and she still thought it wasn't but I tried that that's all I was gonna say that's all that matters fishing for the mission 22 can't wait to come on the show tomorrow see you at 10. yes you will he's got a great Mission and I'm really looking forward to having a conversation with it it's about veterans and uh yeah we'll talk tomorrow and uh we are very much looking forward to having you on the show Good Morning Caroline your garden looks beautiful what plant that just sprouted up was that an orchid that was the purple one whatever it was it was absolutely stunning you put it in the Cape Cod gardening Facebook page we need tips on uh the tricks to have nice there are no tips to help me right now what I should be doing is taking those Lobster bodies that are sitting in my fridge right now and throwing them outside I need to throw them in like the the compost out front but Cliff is like no then there'll be animals I've been having the weirdest thing the last two days animals have been trying to just jump in front of my tires yesterday in broad daylight it was a raccoon really a giant fat raccoon I'm like oh it's probably rabid and I missed my car and then last night coming home from work it was a giant coyote Giant and it was just like hanging in the middle of the road like didn't even want to get out of the way and I'm like oh my God what is happening this is toy wolves it's like a wolf and a coyote I don't know if that's what it was but it was it was it looked Mighty healthy I'll tell you that right now normally this time of year I feel like they look scraggly and hungry oh I know which is why they're like venturing out but they're like from um oh my God Game of Thrones that's what they look like wolves good morning Mari happy belated birthday to you I had Mariana yesterday she hung out with me sat right there where Lindsay was and watched me do work I don't think she had very much fun until we took her to Lily's 87th birthday party how many I was just gonna say what are we doing today I get it I but this child she's been on the world tour yeah I said we gotta we gotta cut this off right for her I said go for it Lily yeah her Edge of Seventeen lasted a real long time yesterday we finally got there and I'm like okay we're done right no I have a feeling another no there's one more there's one more celebration on Friday I'm like she's getting her Ramen she's she wanted Ramen what do you mean that's what the ramen place in Falmouth oh there's one more dinner celebration there's nothing like you're buying her Ramen from the grocery store no no the expensive Ramen like the 30 a bowl Ramen I'm in on that that's what my Ramen was yeah mine was you didn't know because the bee for the chicken wore off it was in the sale fires are like bone broth and don't get me wrong it's all absolutely delicious it is absolutely delicious but it is not cheap and uh so yeah that'll be the final one yes you both really do know how to celebrate it's honestly but it's the longest celebration did she get a tea party well we're working on the Tea Party that's her new business that's right yeah so we had a photo shoot this week kid went to New York went to the Opera went to the prom yeah I just see dollar signs falling out of my car wherever you see Mama's working to pay for Lily's next celebration yeah I'm tired this kid got me doing too many things she couldn't served tea in the outfits yes yes she's hosting parties yeah so these will be ticketed events it's called lady LaRue's tea for two and it's uh like a parent and a child so the parent is the one that gets the T and the kids get the fake tea which is lemonade and then she does story time she'll do she's got an activity so it's an activity a story time I'm just so excited to see her like build this program and she's doing it herself it's like a little Mary Poppins I wonder if one of my sons would do that with me it's a mother-son thing but I'm not I'm not at all cutting out any gender that's why it's gonna be uh minor teenage that's why well that's it that the boy thing it's the teenager right exactly it's just the teenager period so it's exciting to be able to build this program with her and watch her entrepreneurial ship flourish and um she she realizes that I can help her make scones right and cheese sandwiches that's exactly it but she already sees like The Branding afterwards of her own product lines and her other stuff like this kid has this whole idea of fleshed out and I'm like good for you if I'm here to Foster it I totally will so I'm really excited for her um to to be able to Branch this yeah Mark I would yes you totally would have good morning Norma good morning Dave oh I'm standing on my mic all right and she's only got until she's like 30. the kid's gotta go but I mean with this idea I think that she's on to something no I like it yeah this is the kid that um wants to go to Community College and buy a house instead she's like I want to buy a house that way I have something to fall back on instead of student loans I'm like whatever whatever you know what um Bodie said the same my youngest they're growing up very differently he said I'm gonna work for a couple years and retire and I'm like oh okay car gone I love their big Ideas should I worry what's your sniffing glue at school too much no I think it's so good yeah Mari I know a good realtor yes talk to the girl she's already got big plans big plans I love it so what else is going on speaking of Realtors and stuff what do you think of this so my condo place um we have condo fees that are 350 right yeah we have a month yeah that's a lot we have a pool and a tennis court right they might not open the pool because they need volunteers to check the bleach level or what Chlor chlorine um so what are my condo fees pain and then they put not one not two but five speed bumps oh it's really annoying in there I mean I get it no safety where do they come from why I don't know but is everybody volunteers probably the people with kids and you know what if you have kids and you're sitting at home go check the level of the chlorine so we offered one there's a lot of condos back there though somebody in there has to be like close to retirement that's able to check the level but also why do we need to volunteer like that that's included yeah that's so at least take 25 bucks off that seems like a lot of condo fees I mean I have no idea what it costs to run those things for our community so well I think it goes yeah not in my butt I know is it there like don't you have meetings and stuff like that that you can go and there's got to be like an accounting like this has to be on the up and up it's not like they're just sitting there taking the money picture me I can action I can actually picture you going to one of these meetings I don't know if I have a place to live can you be ousted out of the kind of community uh Lindsay escorted out of the meeting she almost throat punched a Mario realtor do you know anything about condo fees and like what it's there's got to be bylaws and stuff within that do a little bit of research and or at least get somebody that likes to do research well the funny thing is this year I don't even have time to go to the pool so I don't know why I care it's a principle yep I'll be working so much I just passed by and wave at it yeah see there should be a budget and there should be a meaning about it so definitely just ask more questions you're good at that yes I am yeah Lindsay likes to ask questions you do though I appreciate that though because I'm I'm a person that goes along to get along a lot of the time and I I appreciate people like you that are like but why but why I'll do it but why we yeah right also you're also agreeable to bad ideas so that's not great either yeah the two of us definitely get ourselves in trouble for sure all right you need to get off to work everybody out there have a really great day um we've got a great show for you lined up tomorrow we're going to be a little bit later in the morning um just because our guest has to get his children he's a single dad with two kids just gotta get them off on the school bus so it'll be a little bit later tomorrow but it's an extra bonus Friday show and uh we'll be back get your
