my husband felt very motivated this morning and now he's got some weird electron thing going on in his back some electricity sensors does anybody else's husband out there just buy the most random of things to help them with whatever it is that they're going Cliff loves buying toys and he'll buy them for like seven seconds he'll lose them he'll break them and then he's on to the next toy right now he's got these electrode things that he was using on his back this morning after his shoveling if it got him to shovel I'm fine with it what's up Kristen oh Dave you got a snowblower Mora good morning Gloria how are things in Canada I loved your ex Benedict rant the other day on Facebook she was very upset that she knew immediately as her egg Benedict was being served to her that her eggs were too jiggly and she knew that the whites were going to be still not cooked all the way I appreciate that sometimes Knockouts get some good breakfast specials uh the pling Jane you're baking me hungry not Fest and cheese the cake Cod Cowboy the meaty pey which I just just don't like saying but all these breakfast sandwiches are under 10 bucks so come and get a cheap breakfast with us here at knockabout a flamethrower does still work yes you are correct all right go ahead share the palm trees go ahead rub it in Kristen very jealous at all of our Floridian friends and our people down south I know uh my aunt was taunting me with the trip to Charleston and I was like sounds really good I can't tell you that I didn't look at flights CZ did good morning Miss Mari you got an open house today I saw you had one yesterday hopefully uh you don't have to shovel before you get to that open house today shout out to our real estate agents suffering on a Sunday no there are tons of deals and steals going on right now throughout Mash P I can tell you that right now if you're looking for a great cheap breakfast or uh KNX got some wings that they're doing for a to go order from noon until 5: today you can get buy one get one half a dozen wings and uh there's a code on their Facebook page so I definitely suggest you check that out and Sunday they always have deals whether it's the morning with breakfast sandwiches or in the afternoon with like half a dozen wings in a pizza for a good deal they me Franken the food here and uh they've definitely improved so definitely check them out if you haven't in a Patrice pimental has pulled her papers and is running for a select board in Mash piece so uh if you see her out and about ask how you can help with her campaign and ask if you can sign her paperwork um maybe she'll pop up over here or throughout mashby at some point today because it's a good day to get out there the roads aren't too bad right now I don't know if anybody's on those side roads you can always tell when you're hitting in my area of mash B to then fouth this fouth is huge but the fouth mashby Town Line it seems like no one we're the last to be plowed on that Town Line area so there's like one small stretch where I live that's Falmouth property that's like the Forgotten Falmouth propert they're like eh close to mashby you deal with it so that's the only area in which I had an issue today driving around um some of the things going on here at knockabout Friday night they've got a dinner comedy show that is happening at dinner in a show and um Thursday our friend Ariel is going to be here and they are doing a Yoni sculpture and it's a Chia Pet um buy tickets cuz I definitely I I'm thinking about it I think I'm I'm free and I think I can do this sounds fun and they've got their Valentine's beverage my liquid Valentine which definitely has some glitter in it always prettier with glitter in their drinks what's up Chris thanks for joining us thanks I would rather do an open house than clean out my closet I agree I was uh at home yesterday tearing it up to the point where I was a little concerned about my back today so I was like please don't make me shovel just cuz I was hurling stuff around you know when you get in that cleaning psycho mode you start lifting everything and moving stuff and you're stuck in the house and you're storm prepping and you're finding random stuff and snacking like a snack aholic my husband actually went to maret basket yesterday big big mistake I'm channeling my inner pretty woman right now him and my son were there for like two hours he called me he's like just so you know I'm alive he's like it was Hunger Games in there I was like Super Bowl Sunday and a storm sir you chose wrong I was like I had the cart full to and I were running through them this morning and and having a good Shuckle to see if that we could answer them we were inspired when we were on a cruise with uh Eva for her her B her big birthday that we were on uh for Royal in h November so I thought we should definitely do a love connection we did speed dating last year and what we found out that there is a lot of women here on the cape and less guys that want to date in that fashion and I don't know it's because we live longer or we're ready to mingle and they're not or they are just over that space either way it seems to be mostly women I was recently contacted by someone who wants to do a reality show here on the cape they flew in from LA and we were talking because we had done that speed dating event so they were asking me you know what I thought why we only have single women that are kind of putting themselves out to the space and uh I'm like I don't know I think that we just have a high number of single women here and that we do live longer this is this is the only thing that I can guess what's up Arthur Mari and uh oh yeah all right I'm not saying that out loud cheers we're at knockabout for Sunday Funday we'll be here um probably until like 1:00 today but but they have deals going on all day long wings and pizza deals and uh the big game deals so come and grab some food and join us here so yeah we were talking about our uh our single event and uh I was just talking to this producer from La that is planning on a Cape Cod show so if you're over 50 and you are dating right now it seems to be the golden Bachelor has spurred on some conversation in this dating space of loneliness and Winters are long here so they were asking what we were what we can do to help and I said well I'll definitely put the word out so if you know somebody that's single particularly gentleman and you think that they might want to actually be on a television show these are a lot of asks of people but if you don't ask you don't know right so please get a hold of us here at lemon Ado and we will connect you with the channels to uh get yourself involved or maybe you've got a dad or an uncle or somebody that's just single and looking for someone even if it's just companionship please throw them in the ring I know they'll probably be irritated but we're curious oh thank you Michael we are a you know what we've got an amazing community and we have so many great people doing cool things and I feel like lemon Ado is the perfect platform to talk about that so I really am so thankful that I get to do this and get up to be places and share how amazing our community is um and putting on my mashby Chamber of Commerce hat for a hot second today and tomorrow are the last two days where you can nominate a business a citizen um a social media human in the town of mashpi that is doing amazing things you don't have to live in the town of mashby to nominate a mashby business or a mashby person so um put on your thinking caps or maybe you've got an unsung hero somebody that just shows up all the time that supports endeavor whether it's food security or whether it's you know they help me get the mail because you're a senior and you just can't do these things on your own it doesn't matter what kind of unsung hero it is um please nominate them and it's on the mash B Chambers Facebook page and also their website because we just want to make sure that we have the most amount of people that are registered for this like I said citizen of the Year business of the Year unsung heroes our social connectors the people that are making things happen in the town of mash B that sometimes don't get noticed or recognized we definitely want to do that for them and we have our annual meeting in which you'll get an award I was just talking to David via he's like make sure you get everybody's name in so they get a beautiful certificate from the state of Massachusetts that just recognizes all the hard work that you do and we're thankful for that so as much as we can talk about that we will Joanna I'm thankful and grateful for my neighbor who used a snowblower to get me out this is a thank somebody doing some small things no you cannot nominate me but thank you I appreciate you yeah we need some other faces but there are so many great ones um we are planning the mashby farmers market in fullon gear this year and we're spanning out we are talking about the canal region Farmers Market I just sent it out to our good friend Dave our um our creator our amazing um just graphic design designer extraordinaire and I said we're moving ahead with the uh the canal region farmers market and shout out to our friends over at the canal region Chamber Marie Oliva is just an amazing human being and we're so thankful to have her in the mix and working on this new farmers market in um in tandem with the canal Concert Series this year so figures cross we passed all the things that we need to pass for uh our our town government and governance but uh the farmers market looks like it's a go uh will it have beer or not we don't know we we'll have to see how that works um but we're really looking forward to that working on some food security and some food Hub situations here in MH because we definitely need it I was talking to my good friend Sierra from core designs she is um made in Native America all of her designs she's pretty fabulous and she's part of the mash B tribe and uh we just found out that uh the tribe is going to be participating in sharing some of their shellfish this year at the mash farmers market so I'm about that they're planting some stuff in the green houses for us this year and planning for us so I'm really excited to be having a full on Mash B support system this year at the mashby farmers market it looks like it's going to be a really amazing season hopefully the weather is with us this year who knows I don't know hi Lori Lori and hello Laura um thank you so much for sharing your food photos our friends over at Laura and Tony's in the off season as I just eat vicarious ly through all of your fabulous photos and your pad tie got me the other day chef's kiss give him a big hug for me to antoan hey Ally thanks for joining us happy Sunday to you to the Robert Paul group they are planning some fun shows for us on the cape and I know that he's been working over at grumpy and some of their entertainment um shout out to anybody right now trying to just make it through the winter uh especially our restaurants I know that the cost of food right now is outrageous which is why we started the farmers market cost of eggs cost of everything I want to shout out to our friends over at D Silva Farms Daniel is back in school and he's working on branching his business and especially with like the Aven flu and the things that are happening for why our food costs are so expensive to be in there and educating yourself and being proactive is so important and I'm just so thankful that we as cap cotters get to take this time and kind of work on ourselves work on our businesses and support our local so as we're rolling into this week and it's Valentine's Day um we have a bunch of great Valentine's offerings for you I'm doing a Valentine's trivia that's supporting henus Library that's going to be over at barille Brewing Company on Thursday which I'm looking forward to that um also support your local as far as chocolateers big GES I know it's super easy to just go to your big box store and grab something but honestly the people that are creating things in small businesses yeah they are a couple of dollars extra and yeah you might not have it but if you do please support the small businesses that are struggling to just be in business and pay their staff right now um G's chocolates our friends over at the the chocolate rose um if you're thinking of fun little Chach Keys then definitely head into the commons we have so many great businesses I know Ashley Irene has got some beautiful cute um outfit going on for Valentine's Day and shout out to our friends over at the purple poppy who's also got some Valentine's Day gear for you black dog has got their Valentine's Day shirts honestly if you can support anybody trying to make a couple of extra bucks in this time of year please do so um people friends that are down in Florida Charleston shop our local stores here online and support them that way if you can do so we really appreciate it because Commerce is tough this time of year and we're just trying to help everybody eat and do well what's up Jay hi Colleen zigg I cannot wait to hear your new Tunes zigg was just um mentioned in the Cape Cod Times great article about our tribal music right now and I'm so thankful he was a part of the mashby farmers market this year and he'll be back again coming in 2025 so I'm looking forward to that and uh making some new Tunes we're really supportive of you and the funky professor and excited for wamp tronica music to be coming to everybody with some new sounds we absolutely love everything that you do Zig and uh you'll be on the show coming up I was hoping to get you training has begun her Runners were out there this morning they were shoveling they were running they were getting themselves prepped we have a fundraiser right here at knockabout it's coming up on March 9th so mark it on your calendar March 9th we'll be here to do a fundraiser for my specific Ruck for hit team which is uh it's team Hazard but we I always call us team ha Hazard just because we're we're disaster of a team and I think we're still looking for one runner for our team so if you're an avid Runner and you want to be part of a Ruck for hit team it's pretty incredible this raises almost a quarter of a million dollars for programming for our soldiers and for anybody that is in the military services that needs Services hello Roseanne thank you so much for joining the show this
