what saraphina and I were in a entrepreneurial book club where Stephany never read the right book and Stephanie was terrible at this book I really Su at CL I did not fabulous I'm what I just had a visual I just had a visual I proud of it hello good afternoon we're we're doing an afternoon show here what is this about you know what we just constantly work as executive director and president of the chambers in which we work for so what's the difference there's play time too involved in this job also very true and uh right now is playtime as we are here live for Margaritaville Resort on kod and it's finally happening finally happening Stephanie it's been a long time coming here so a lot of work the staff's been great a lot of buildup do you want to talk about the process just a little bit because when you're like long time today is the day there was on oh my God I was late one time I'll never live this down ladies and gentlemen you were witness to the last show but anyway so this process started several years ago and Renovations and of course some delays um issues happen like every other construction project that goes goes on here so um Fally succession the multiple problems that happen like any other renovation supplies demands things like materials right of course Ashley said what a great surprise hi Joanna hi Eva and uh yeah we are really getting ready for an afternoon this is amazing the bands the food presentations are ready um it's an amazing facility here if you have a chance I'm gonna show what theyve offering for some food right now right we got some shrimp uh they're 20 shrimp wring now I was there already listen they've also set up with some margaritas no those aren't Margaritas that's popcorn but I'm looking forward to a little Margarita over there in the bar that's a big one you have to hydrate it's very important and I love it so when you walk in you get a little L yes and what time are you officially cutting ribbons five o'clock so five o'clock and then this will probably wind down around six or seven 6:30 but I definitely suggest that if you've got time today to swing on through and see this beautiful facility when you walk in the door they're going to give you this really cool um Margaritaville sort of passport yes and then you can take the tour around and see the different areas and there different Renovations they're even opening up to one of the model guest rooms so you can see what the rooms all look like I took a little walk down the hallway and just even walking down the hallway is like absolutely beautiful the doors are sorry I look like I've had a couple already it looked like I already hit the margaritas well you Mook shrimp from aarit I about that for a second okay it's all good but I love the little signs the wooden signs all throughout the building is really super cute uh save me some I'm on my way actually I know this place will definitely get you in here I even walked down to the water park area uh I just stayed outside because just they're busy I'm not going to start filming people in their bikinis like I think they would frown upon that as I'm like the lady with the camera it's a casual environment you'll be here in in khakis and bathing suits everything or Roba getting out of the spot everything's involved here it's a whole experience so I arrived and you had everything from people in suits to families that are here on vacation already which is exciting and Convention space for business people a lot of space we had a Kart chamber tourism event yesterday here for about 400 people that was well attended also they did a great job K chamber and Mild just one yeah right you're nearest and dearest Stephan no biggie so they're they cleared out the lobby right you know celebrating the big flipflop if you will and uh they're going to be doing the ribbon cutting yes very exciting I feel like it's so much pum for one second of a snip it's it's such an experience to get here first you're driving by are those palm trees out front yes they they are real pal trees are I think I actually captured some of the palm trees out front on Scenic Route 132 but yeah those are real palm trees and also what's what's up with this vehicle can we we take this party bus for a ride at at some point Margarita is anything as possible right just pick the keys we'll be I'll be the valley drivers I feel like the the resort maybe is that to get people from the airport or maybe drop them off at the beach I'm not sure what they're going to be using that vehicle for but um I'm just excited for it so what's nice is too this draw this there's a large resort so it draws people not just for the the like the Joe Merchants the or land shark here but people will frequent other restaurants and establishments in the cape cot area too so it's an experience and you know it's just a wonderful time here just it's a fun fun and festive day today of course what place are we in right now we're in the coffee shop we're in Joe Morton's coffee shop it's a nice roomy facility I've had a lot of meetings here very casual um everything from coffees to pizzas small yogurts to go grabb and go stuff here too so and then you and I met here for lunch last week or the week before that and then I wanted to share this moment with you as I walked into here and I had to like focus on the fact that there's a blender in a bike you want to mix your own Margarita you put blend on there and okay so you can mix your own margarita with with the bike yes not me I have to have the bike heavily reinforced oh like I have to do cardio before I get a margarita I don't know if I'm digging that that could be a good concept Stephanie you know it could work earn your margaritas here at Margarita and you can also tell we chance we can't stay on the bike if you have gravity issues because that second or third Margarita can be the chest also I feel like that's some sort of sobriety checkpoint right there with those bikes I think if you can say the word sobriety it's a good indication of I did it I deserve a margarita nine shots of caffeine later but it's all good um so maybe talk about your relationship with Margarita Bill a little bit as far as the greater High Inus chamber I think it's so important when we highlight our businesses AB not just when they're doing cool grand openings like this well reaching out for the community there's a lot of events they'll be planning too again nonprofit offs are having you know Cape employment business have been here a few times Cape cot chamber G highness chamber is having an annual meeting here in October we've had a couple meetings already um a lot of opportunities here for small businesses to have their conventions um nonprofit opportunities again but it gets a family experience so you you can bring your family down attend that convention during the day and at night you can have time with your family that's what I'm really excited about because they have live entertainment every single night of the week whether it's trivia Bingo what bins uh they've got it every single night they've even started an over 55 meet and greet so that's been I mean there's all kinds of things okay you know it's all good but they're open late enough yes they are so I this is the common complaint that I get from a lot of people that are looking for stuff to do and nothing's open and I can't find food to eat um I got to tell you the turkey club I had here last week was enough to feed me three times that I couldn't see the Sero when was being brought over with her face it's buried size of your head I was like yes it is it's always the take up afterwards it's a doggy bag to go yeah I think doggy bags could be changed for uh restaurants is not appropriate for but we're definitely gonna do another bigger show here and I'm looking forward to it I know I connected with Giani and all the heads of state are here right now oh it's a full corporate experience here it's a big event for the corporation now I hear a blender going is that smoothies or Margarita uh smoothies smoothies here okay margarita the other what other things do they have a spa here yes they do okay when I first came here actually after the first of the year there were it was I believe 15 degrees outside there's about 10 people outside in the outdoor uh outoor hot tub out there so it it's pretty cool oh I like that steam everywhere yeah very refreshing not I didn't experience it per se no well I saw the empty glasses next to so I guess they had a good time look slightly dangerous you know for me it would be the can oh my God so there is the spa there is fin up which is their fitness center and everything is refurbished and beautiful everything's redone and uh extremely clean again the staff is very accommodating they're they're here they're ready I is fully staffed I noticed that when we were here last week how many people are just like ready to serve you and I thought that that was wonderful very much very much so and again the point is also to bring a destination location to to reach in you know going to movie theaters restaurants on about Main Street Hy also here I don't know Road 100 when it's open exactly when it's open yes well we're still in a sort of a spring I'm not going to bark about the construction situation that is going on all around us throughout Cape Cod we all know it we're all dealing with it it's just a situation we have to deal with whether that's why Marita is help for medicinal purposes 100% traffic stress yeah it's an aggravation reducer I agree that's right on the rots an aggravation produc could be a name you can that's it the aggravation producer you're welcome Margaritaville so we're going to get ready for this ribbon cutting uh the band is getting ready to play I Was Here for their sound check I'm pretty excited about it the food looks phenomenal the drinks look amazing and um this is going to go on for for a little bit so if you're getting out of work right now and you're like ah I've been meaning to go check that place out definitely swing through please do and say hello to us if you see us yeah they're giving uh some great giveaways away and also walking you through their fantastic prizes I wonder where that name came from I was like was that you in the marketing department Marty I love it so yeah you got to tour around and check it out and uh there's definitely plenty of stuff here to show you around and come have a margarita with us or two blend your own though I def I need to see it work we had a business after hours here a couple months ago and uh we had a lot of folks doing it I feel like I could make a game or something out of the bike blend blend faster blend go I'm definitely gonna make it happen for sure so uh once again if you'd like us to pop up at your business along with your Ribbon cutting lemonade is also available for these events AB to highlight some of the fun stuff I'm GNA leave the uh live on for just a little bit so that you can kind of capture what's going on we might bot back in and and check stuff out but for now there's a lot of food out there there are margaritas to drink you've got ribbons to cut well if we're not going to bop back in we're drinking so I gu maybe stumbling you can watch us like zoo animals through the glass happily just move it closer to the glass so you can see exactly what is happening and you can feel like you're part of the ribbon cutting that's going
