Mother's Day Sunday Funday

yo hello and welcome in to Mother's Day Sunday Funday here at knock about Brewing Company hi I'm all by myself hello mom duty it's like it normally is what nothing else oh wait Stephanie will do it so here I am bye my lonesome drinking beer with my flowers and you know what I'm okay with it probably one of the better Mother's Days that I've held in a while so thank you so much for joining us and uh I've got these beautiful flowers thank you very much to adequate Acres uh every mom that swings on by while supplies last we'll get one of these gorgeous little things you can put in the garden and I'm telling you adequate Acres it lasts all season long so um we have impatience that I put up every single year from adequate acres and it's the entire season it really it's pretty spectacular so um their Garden is open today I think until five knock about is open and we're just having some beer it's a beautiful day cooler than yesterday which I'm cool with um I had such a busy weekend how was everybody's weekend hey Megs what's going on CJ hi hey cam wherever it is that you're flying around to I'm drinking hopes and sunshine right now that's what I'm hoping for and sunshine thank you so Lily had her prom last night hey Lauren hey Joanna so I was trying to get her to have like fun photos and I like staged the couch I'm like all right come on over get some photos and she was too busy first off she fell down the stairs before prom even started so it was one of those like huge thud noises and I freaked out so I went running around the corner and she was like relax my shoe fell off it sounded like a dead body fell down my stairs it was terrifying good morning Bree thank you so much for checking in yeah so that was our beginning of prom we got last minute shoes when we were in New York but my heart is full like I had a full weekend we were in New York for 36 hours I got to see my brother got both of my daughters and my son and uh just walking around the city and enjoying some time with our family so it's okay that today is kind of the down day and I'm just chilling waiting for my friends to show up here at knock about Lake Ave and Mashpee they've got a lot of new stuff on tap too they've got Cape Cabana so if you're feeling like a little vacation and asseltzer they've got that um they've got the margarita I'm trying a hopes and sunshine like I said there's also splash and old exit two there's a few other good new named beers you never know you blink and you just miss it I know her prom dress was totally Jessica Rabbit Vibes and uh my husband all right so this is my daughter okay yesterday we get home we're in a rush I'm like you have an hour and a half to get ready for your prom so let's go Junior Prom not senior prom so I'm not super freaking out about it she was going with a group of girls didn't even bother to check on her ride so I'm bringing her over to a friend's house where I thought the photos were being taken and then I'm like you should probably just call your friends and make sure that that is the plan calls the friend and you could hear all this hubbub in the background and she's like yeah we're already at the venue daughter didn't even know where prom was didn't even know where her tickets were didn't even know where she was supposed to be we got her there it was fine but then it was one of those moments where I was totally dressed like I was gonna go to her friend's mom's house and have like a backyard cocktail now I'm pulling up to like New Seabury Country Club and all the moms are out there like dressed like they're going to prom along with their children getting all the photos and I look like a hobo in my Crocs so good morning you guys yeah I definitely uh yes I totally will set up a meeting with you CJ I'm just getting my life back on track right now the last three weeks have been kind of just up in arms but we're getting there as we're heading into summer schedule we're about to host some auditions so um next Sunday here at knock about if you are looking to host a trivia night host a uh music Bingo night host a radio show we definitely want to see you we're going to be having open casting calls and that's going to be here at knock about next Sunday from 11 to 1. so if you've ever had any sort of inclination to be on the radio to host your own night to I don't know be a bartender even we are going to be having open auditions so swing on through from 11 to 1. and that is going to be next Sunday here at knock about oh thank you so much successfully not murdering my child to date thank you I adequate Acres Mama radio that's me and oh thank you so much Mark thanks for checking in it's good to see you here yeah I've been just trying to check in with everybody this week it's been like I just haven't been able to get on track you know how sometimes everything is like so many activities this time of year it's springtime here on the cape and when you're trying to get organized and you're just not able to get organized that has been my absolute life and then no one was feeling great this week so that kind of threw a wrench in the mix my son has a football game today so that's where my husband is and my daughter was supposed to bring him she's not feeling good today so I'm like awesome so here I am doing my thing enjoying my Mother's Day sipping on some some hope and sunshine and enjoying it so it's a beautiful day out and I would love to see your shining smiling faces we're going to be here until one o'clock we've got some tunes going Robbie and Arielle are back behind the bar and they are awesome they've got some new merchandise new shows are coming to knock about Lenny Clark is going to be here Memorial Day Weekend they've got comedy shows I'm working on a makers day also a tea party with Miss LaRue that's going to be very exciting so be looking for that that's a ticketed event that we're going to be having here and that is going to be put on by lemonadeio which we're really excited for working with a couple of other places so um yeah we are definitely doing tons of events right now and we would love to see your face oh happy Mother's Day everyone out there Andra thanks so much for checking in I don't know how everybody else is going this week but I cannot get anything together I cannot I can't focus I can't I have just so many things up in air we have our J1 students coming in next week so um my tasks this week are building bunk beds organizing bedrooms and making sure that everybody has what they need um we are rearranging all of our car situation which has been a total nightmare situation but my husband is um I've left his full-time job and uh he is is working on his own business so it's it's pretty wild right now that we are we are entrepreneurs for like the Long Haul here we're in it to win it I know and I did show up today thanks Lauren so like I said we'll be here until knock about at uh one o'clock and we would love for you to swing on through and say hello have a beer with us happy Mother's Day to every single one of my mom friends out there I know that you are the hardest working bunch I have the the group chats of women that I am on with I'm feel completely blessed to have you all in my life you all work so tremendously hard for your families for your businesses for yourselves and I just wanted to raise this glass right now and say cheers to you I appreciate you I thank you happy Mother's Day from the bottom of my heart here from knock about like I said we've got these gorgeous little flowers here and
