what saraphina and I were in a entrepreneurial book club where Stephanie never read the right book and Stephanie was terrible at this book club I really Su at book club I did not fabulous I'm what I enjoying some of your tunes thank you yeah really liking your shows on the weekend well I hope so yeah right I work hard at it yeah we're here live at knockabout Sunday Funday we are back for the the winter season the sesh and uh some good deals here going on somebody laughed cuz I posted the menu they're like what if you don't like a Portuguese muffin get a pizza I don't know there's other food here get the get the the pretzel pretzel bites are really good well they've got a full kitchen now so they've got Smash Burgers they've got Wings they've got pizza and uh brunch offerings here on Sundays some of us remember when this is a full service restaurant right some of us are hold up to you to remember I I am it was The Flume and um actually uh the her family she's a dickbeard um dickbeard a beard a beard awardwinning chef and like di Beard Chevrolet thing actually it's just mocktail okay that's right I got a Sil weekend Tri myself this is a mocktail here at knockout however if you do want a noct tail they've got a bunch of them different flavors this one happens to be lemonade and blood orange and I love blood orang oh it's absolutely a delicious drink and they've got $10 crafts of mimosas and $5 brunch specials a sandwich and they're like little wagon wheel potato tots that I'm just addicted to they're delicious hey Mary Jane what's going on happy Sunday Funday to and they food offering so Wednesdays is wings and Thursday Smash Burgers Friday Pizza special I don't know if I've ever had a an actual Smash Burger okay what is that where they just literally smash it onto the grill that's so it's like flat like a flat Patty okay so it's not like a big fat burger you know what I mean so it kind of mushes into the bread okay I I enjoy them a lot more L meat okay I'm working on a little less of everything these days and and and if you like it then it's good I'm telling you that's right um so yeah Sunday Funday woke up this morning and my husband goes go to Tik Tok yes was more well there was a different I don't know notification that it is what is on there right now really so first thing this morning and I wrote it down and I'm so glad I did y because I couldn't believe it I was like that's okay and they've changed it since oh really so this morning it said t talk the law Banning Tik Tock enacted in the US we are fortunate that President Trump was um indicating that he will work with us on a solution to reinstate Tik Tok when he takes office stay tuned and it's gone now oh yes it is definitely changed since this morning and now it's just like oh we'll wear clothes you mean somebody saw that and said not so fast there were three different notifications this morning somebody said something about it so wow I know and then did you hear about the the the flag is going back up for him yes well but here's the thing he didn't want it to be seen when he was outside being sworn in yeah but it doesn't make any difference no no but it was kind of kind of chy yeah yeah this is where we're at right now so take a deep breath and buckle up for 2020 right oh it's going to be fun no question you can just you can just fall right down the hole reading the articles on the internet already about this is going to happen that's going to happen the world's going to end we're all going to be millionaires okay it's either it's either like one or the other I'll I'll take being in a millionaire in 2025 sign me up for that what's up Gloria thanks for joining us Sunday Monday we're here out on a little field trip and we're at knockabout 13 I know just every once in a while but Sundays are going to be great we're gonna have our makers here from the farmers market so new faces next week is Michelle pets from um Sun catch her Haven heaven really y so she'll be here um selling some of her stuff the following week we' got chocolate Nana we're just going to rotate in some of our makers so you can come do a little shopping and have a $5 breakfast like where in the world can you get a $5 breakfast you just can't so that is what is going to be our deal um Sunday is in the winter time here from 11:00 to1 we'll have some new musicians from the farmers market that are going to be not auditioning but showing us who they are and talk about their music a little bit that's great and so we'll follow Hank show on Sunday y um just bolstering some of our program here in 2025 on Lemon Ado so looking forward to that your wife is away she's networking is that what we're calling it I saw some pictures this morning of her networking well she's at a real nice hotel oh she's in a fabulous hotel we were there Gaylord something it's the Gaylord in in Orlando beautiful yes yeah we were there last year Mari Mariana and I went because we took Mariana to Universal yeah but this year obviously we didn't go yeah next year we are going to go I think because the How to Train Your Dragon oh that's right we talk about that at Universal is is gonna be available Gloria still has Tik Tok Gloria is in Canada ah us know what we're missing what are they saying on Tik Tok lauia you know that's really that's really strange you know those nerds out there are changing their IP addresses to be funneled through other countries just so they could have their small of course fine yeah oh yeah it won't it won't I don't know oh speaking of which the vacationer is joining us she's not networking right now oh she is hi Mari hey Mari how are you she just said breakfast she just said lovely breakfast oh good for her she told me and and they were and they were taking a walk around stunning stunning Hotel so I saw Liz at our Friday night social over at Doos how was that everybody was dancing they wanted to dance more it was hysterical so we had the going on in some TVs and you could participate if you want to yeah but you didn't have to so it was like a good mix Sandy was there with her 360 video machine so people were you know dressing up and taking some videos people were dancing people were playing along with us and people were having a good Friday night playing wtown yeah yeah it was good time that gets people dancing anywhere yeah well next week it's yach rock so if you want to put on your best captain's hat and come and hang out with us on Friday at Le it's a crisscross exactly that's Cliff's favorite Ste Dan Christopher Cross you think consider Steely Dan yach what it is yach Rock because yach Rock I guess is technically not heavy on drums that's really what it is that's what personifies it right but yeah it's your but I can't imagine the Steely Dan guys consider themselves yach Rock I don't think that they would like that very much no I don't think so but I I like Steely Dan oh yeah I consider them we went and saw them my husband immediately bought a meloda cuz he had to and does he play it every day no no right now he's trying to learn the bag pipe so he's walking around with that bagpipe thing in his mouth like the read thing it's absolutely obnoxious constant entertainment your house it's like a kazoo it really is like what are you doing but does he have the extra bag pipes yeah he's got the set of bag pipes he just he hasn't graduated to using that part yet he's working on it yeah that in the trumpet which he was playing the other day that just it it was not yeah it's not great I'll tell you it's not sto at your house constant entertainment actually it's not great actually we should take everyone and this and just go to your house and then let's see what happens I'll put a I'll put a little uh GoPro on Cliff one day and you'll see his ad in action move around his little stations while he's playing all of his games and music what's up Denise hello noren Joanne I've missed you we've not talked in a Market Basket like a crazy person yesterday yes I was I legit had to be there legit why because I needed a couple of things because on a Saturday and then posted about why is it so busy in here I'm like hey get Market Basket on a Saturday no I took I took Mari and and her friend Aon to the airport and it took you know this was really strange it took me one hour to get from the cap to Logan Airport isn't it so nice this yesterday morning like oh my goodness and when I was leaving to come home yeah it's first was all backed up to the out yeah yeah it was like how did this happen Saturday morning only been like 20 minutes we've learned that lesson taking Lily back to school we started we used to wait for like Sunday or Monday Saturday morning is the time to go there's nobody on the road get in get out get out with your life well I had to pick up a couple of things because Mari Mariana staying over with me because her mom-in-law are working and all of that so I wanted to make sure I had the approprate the the appropriate you know chips and whatever we have to have so that's what I did you know what I did I did not do that I went online BJ's delivery thank you delivered everything to my house and I didn't have to deal with crazy DJs really I loved it best thing that I ever ever got for myself was that BJ's credit card because it's like the free insta card so I don't have to pay for instacart but I get instacart oh okay not that I'm stepping anything for that Big Box store in hyanis if you want to give me a free membership we'll talk about you a little bit more in dep but right now I pay for that privilege so I was so excited my husband gets home from work and he goes well some of them felt like snacks today right because it's like the BJ sized capcon chips oh I was like I was getting the boy ready for this week and he was complaining we had no snacks I was going to say you you have a teenage boy trust me it won't be there long who's an athlete so you need the big I don't even know where things go like missing bags of meat kid doesn't even cook I don't even know what he does in there like feed it to his friends when they come over maybe you go boys he'll use the air fryer So and I've showed him how to do certain things in the air fryer so we can do some chicken maybe's doing yeah I know I know I'm kind of proud of him and I had a new approach yesterday for getting Saturday morning chores done how did we do that hey buddy I really need your help can you help me today I'm not feeling great everything got done without a fight so oh sh because Mom asked well maybe I have to be really nice about it and not feel okay Mom can you carry this for your dear old mother well that's how he was with the markets though yeah are you okay Mom anything I can do mom a my back hurts can you live I don't need to make ailments to have my child help me but apparently this is the only way we get things done if it works oh I'm so frail if this is beginning now wait until I'm old he's going to throw throw my from a train is what he's gonna do Joanne says that we're getting mostly rain and she said they're getting three to six inches and I can't fully pin it down on the cell Shore not good yeah what's up Tina we're looking forward to having you happy Larry happy Sunday Michael we're looking forward to celebrating Vanna's birthday I know she's got a big birthday party going on a bunch of postings from Kuna it and uh I'm GNA pop in in some fashion I don't know how I'm going to work by maybe maybe some sort of lift would and come down from the ceiling I have a grand entrance I will have pants on I promise not like how we're I'm working on my grand entrance in there for sure hi Liz I love Cap Cod chips years ago they came in a bucket I remember the bucket o chips we got to talk to them about bringing back the commemorative you know what I never got a liking for them really I wish had that problem and I don't really like chips but I like those ones I like chips I never kind of warmed up I like that with hella of a dip and I like the hell of a dip I'm not a I'm not a chip person but for whatever reason that that wham bam combination gets me every time and I'm in I'm a sucker I'm in um so what's going on in the world what's up with football the Lions lost last night so if you had the Lions to go to the Super Bowl you've lost already it ain't going to get there that was a heck of a game all I saw that Taylor Swift War $22,000 outfit to cheer on her boyfriend for while and they won wow and and and you know what they didn't show her they showed her like once or twice it wasn't the constant you know there she is there she is there she is yeah so well that's good well I me $22,000 I mean outfit she probably went somewhere and said of the Year mauve no the color of the year for hair yeah is Bron bronze no bron bron yes blond so brown blonde brown blonde how do you do that I don't know I'm not a hairdresser one one side one in the other no it's just like a specific tone of blonde apparently it's more Brown than blonde but it's not exactly Brown okay it seems a lot well it wouldn't work for me anyway so well I was looking at some of the trends for 2025 I'm thoroughly not impressed Mary Jane sneakers I also saw that we have it's a bab Bonnet have you seen this no adult bonnets for winter like we're going back to the Bonnet I I well some people would argue we're going back backwards anyway and shoulder pads I saw shoulder pads and I was like I had to slam it down I closed my laptop loudly because I was like shoulder pads and bonnets and Mary Jane sneakers I don't I don't it's like all the bads from all the decades let's bring all of those back please and they'll be in and they'll be cool and everybody wear them and no then look back and go what was Dana we're so excited for your birthday party she said thank you HTTR yep March 8th Vanna pachella birthday at Kuna messet and the color of the year is brown handmaid's tail hi Lauren Lauren you look like you had an awesome birthday party over at opis if you've not booked a birthday party with Lauren I'm telling you what you are missing out opis is the to be she had like some sort of toddler Rave oh really it was let it go it was black lights it was just a whole lot of kids on one rug singing karaoke it looked magical okay not me no but I mean she does all ages birthdays oh okay I hav't joined my birthday party yeah mine yeah okay you already had a big one I it's only every five years we have to remind me that I'm old I know we don't need anothering of the right the situations when it get the next big one we'll be over for a party yeah so back behind the bar today we've got Annie Robbie is making some food and we are here at 13 Lake app knockabout and uh they've got some really good food specials so I don't know what their Saturday Night Live entertainment is this week um but they've been having some really good stuff I'm loving it yep nice to have something like this in our area yeah well this is the time of year where we can actually enjoy where we live a little bit right come out come out of our hiding places right go out and drive on roads where we're not going to be like oh it's so much oh I know you know what the weirdest thing is is being over in family with heights yeah at shipwreck at night quiet right no one there yeah it is so bizarre I it's lovely I mean don't get me wrong the restaurant is still jumping oh yeah but there's nobody on the beach or that whole stretch of like nobody walking up and down the sidewalk and people yelling and screaming it is just you're right it's lovely it's bizarre yeah eie yes might be good for a horror book maybe that's why Ted does so well with his books we'll be having Dean Rush on with us at some point soon you can talk to us about uh his adventures and uh writing book two yes because I know he's uh been toiling away oh he's he's he's doing a couple things at the same time right I don't know how artists when you get in that creative path of where you're going to go with it and try and do that many projects at once I don't know how you push the needle forward a little bit more on all of them right he got he's got a couple of things going on she said last night we celebrated Mark turning 50 so yes all ages in the Rave was the biggest event we've ever hosted a doler rave I love it that's good right uh noct tail today is a lemonade and blood orange cocktail so I'm having it mock I I don't either the boo I'm good yeah I love blood orange that's that's something that I learned to drink I learned to drink blood orange orange juice when when I used to travel to Italy for long oh yes and the Italian blood orange nothing like it nothing like it seriously uh what do we got coming up this week we've got some new offerings yes yeah we'll be at DJs and Falmouth on Thursdays that will be cool I know Bri is really excited they're excited about it to DJs good I'm glad and this is family trivia too so you can bring the whole entire family and eat with us and play games Bri is a lot of fun it's from 6 until 8 on Thursdays so yeah we're moving into Falmouth a little bit so Tuesdays Thursdays in Falmouth taking over the world yeah you know UNC down at a time we're trying Thursdays also over at 10 pin and we can't forget our Marshland to which uh they've been having huge bands over there at Marshland and really uh stepping up their winter offerings as well they have we've got great Community Partners and uh we're always looking for some more I know we're looking for our unsung heroes putting on my Mash B chamber Commerce director hat for a minute we're looking for unsung heroes we're looking for who you think is the person of the year or citizen of the year in match me so nominate the person that you work with or somebody that's doing cool things or somebody that volunteers a heck of a lot or someone that's change the game in town just a little bit right I'd love to see some more faces in there we've got just a few people and I don't know whether I don't think that the application is like timec consuming you just put someone's name in there but I'm going to be putting physical uh ballots at the library at town hall and then if you think of any other places maybe cap Cog coffee maybe here at knockabout yeah um to just vote for who you think these people are that are doing awesome things in our town please wager a vote there's going to be a lot of people around town who are yeah who are doing stuff yeah yeah and there's a lot happening I'm really excited our annual meeting is coming up where we honor everyone and uh we're unveiling something new and I've been working with Sierra one of our members of the mashby Farmers Market on creating something that commemorates uh an awesome Town piece that we're going to be selling during the holidays so interesting I know we're tying it all together and I'm really looking forward to this collab and uh she'll be there to unveil her art and when the annual meeting it is in March March 8th so start thinking of uh and where is it it is going to be at New Seabury and tickets will be on sale shortly okay that's all I can say about that things are happening here in the window all you got to concern yourself is nominate cool people from the town of mashby doing cool things right I R race that spans from and the route is different this year we're going to be starting in F the fairgrounds this year instead of all the way in borne um and we're go all the way to provinc toown and back and end back in Mash P that's a bit of a job oh it's a lot it's a lot teams run anywhere from one to Five Mile clips and then they tag uh teamate with it I do the driving my running days are over but I have to stay awake for two and a half days straight and make sure everybody lives and endure the smells of the bus that's good well well no maybe not not not exactly the lovely thing ever a little big fapable rub there and we're good smell your feet and whatever else is going on with your body people are eating breakfast over there they're fine I think they're mostly down oh okay oh they're definitely eating still sorry change it subject quickly well I was like guys what are we going to do Tails from the Vans and they were like oh we need to do that and I invited everybody three people showed up it we it didn't it wasn't released okay not stor that could not be told yeah there are stories that remain in the van stay in the van right it's like a situation in Vegas all right what do we got coming up on the shows this week well we got lunch break all week and on and on Monday because it's a lunch break will be on the same time as the inauguration I'm going to have some like inaugural tribia oh okay I like that you know sort of like programming yeah if you will I like it particularly involving cold inaugurations okay because there have been a couple one more than a 100 years ago I guess maybe they probably should have moved inside because it did not have a very good ending did anybody die um well yeah well you heard it first or reddited your history books and forgot about it you read it in your history books interesting just think Tippy Canoe and Tyler to all right then MLK day tomorrow and uh now are places open or closed or or I think most places are open it's a Federal holiday so no banking no no Town yeah town is closed yeah don't have to worry about any of that and then um and then Tuesday we start I mean look at that we're almost through January January 67th over here no it's crazy it needs to end I'm over it yeah yeah although Valentine's day has been out since Christmas Christmas so once I start seeing the Patty's Day push I'm like get it stop stop pushing me please please but we can push forward what are you supposed to do with it if you buy it now put it somewhere safe where you I'll lose it where you think you'll remember and then you don't and then you go buy maybe that's the trick they get you to buy it because you think you'll save it and find it and then you don't so then you buy more so they double the profit maybe maybe maybe no we just keep buying the hot the the chocolate that yeah exactly so we just buy more and by the time the actual holiday rolls around the chocolate's gone right I go from like the marshmallow Santas to the marshmallow hearts and then of course you got the cadberry Easter I bring on the eggs that's what I'm they're out already I've seen them already but but I'm still I'm still in the in the marshmallow chocolate heart mode okay so I can't go to the eggs just yet what is your favorite Valentine's candy I like gelies I gotta go local yeah yeah they could I know they do chocolate covered strawberries and they're delicious yep that's good stuff yeah yeah that's the good stuff right there all right we're going to wrap it up here at knab but we'll be here until 1 got College you can't afford no cruises adult yeah exactly it's an adults only cruise and I'm looking forward to it and um like I said two cabins are left and you can get that information if you just
