all right here we are hello hello world hi so live from knock about our Sunday Funday is here and it's auditions day thanks for being my guinea pig Lily of course of course always you already had five test trials oh what the children yes the children my siblings and I what's going on with you um your seniors have graduated so you are technically a senior right now big fish in the pond now super weird I really like about it it's really weird I always had senior friends and when they left I cried and now I don't know how to deal with it well now shouldn't you have your underlings haven't you been mentoring children 38 38 children I mentor and I hate all of them oh that's not you're not supposed to tell people you hate children they're okay most of them are fine actually you grow out of it I'm just kidding tough love tough love they're middle schoolers well yeah that's a lot so we are here for audition day we have uh some amazing talent and some people who have never been in front of a camera I've never been in front of a microphone showing up to um test out their skills and we have like a little bit of a skills test are you willing to take the skills test I am willing to take the skills test I'm a little afraid well don't be afraid because it's just having a conversation it's just seeing how well that they do it's not under Fire but you definitely have a microphone and a camera in front of you so well how are you going to react yeah it's you kind of know what you signed up for yeah so uh the first thing that they're going to be having is a hypothetical convo so they're gonna get uh just a blank they're gonna have a minute to process what information is on it and then they're going to have to come up with a conversation to have with someone that's totally hypothetical off the proposed choices that they have so we'll have that also a trivia question I you answer the trivia question by the way it's brought to you by knock about stop in for a Paul's Pizza it's a bar pie it's really good so just how you read it how you interact with people so that's also a thing today is so it's just a little piece of paper that tells you what today is whether it's National whatever day and then how you can formulate that into a conversation and then weird news be able to process a weird news story and then have a conversation how it's relatable to other people so that is what they're going to be handed in a stack they're going to have a few minutes to decide what conversation they want to have with it how they want to have this conversation and then it's just based on their Poise their personality it's not necessarily factual information I don't care about that I just want to see how they react in the moment to the information that they're given how they process it and what comes out from that information so I'm pretty excited to see what this is and we have a whole host of openings for whether it's a weekend host whether it's a weekday host depending on how well they do if they want to make their own show if they want to host an event um we have openings in every space mom is tired mama needs to break so if you you think you've got what it takes and you're watching this right now and you're like oh I didn't get there in time next week is going to be the finals so you can come and try it one more time to see how well you do or you can just contact me during the week or you're like I'm too nervous to be on camera we can do like a small little private interview just to get you your feet wet and see how well you do in front of a live studio audience live studio audience it might just be Lily staring at you that's also I think more Awkward than having a jump a bunch of people in front of you look out world judgmental 17 year old we're mean very nice today oh no no no no I had my coffee I ate like 10 hours of sleep I'm ready to be mean that that's not nice oh no I'm just kidding I won't judge you maybe you did some gardening yesterday I thought that was therapeutic for you it's not I whack down weeds you that's like anger management she was rage gardening I've never seen anything like it before so swing on through knock about at any point during the week they've got events we had an Elvis not impersonator but an Elvis performer last night that was pretty cool Elvis guy I know they've got Lenny Clark coming back and these are all ticketed events if you just go on live knockabout.com and see what they've got um coming up you can buy your ticket also try some of their new stuff they've got new craft Brews and seltzers pretty much every single week they'll roll stuff out they do small batch stuff so it's here until it's gone and then you might not see it again unless you um really want it back plus on nice days the sun is finally out the whole yard out there is fabulous um so swing on through I just see someone without a beard right now walking in a handlebar I love this and also a recent graduate of mass art over there I know congratulations friends you never know who's gonna swing by knock about so we're about to get this thing started we hope that you come on by Ariel and Robbie are back behind
