and we are here hey I was driving in this morning and you were playing bad girls right I was loving it but then it was you know at the very end it's all the music's gone it's just it's just the backup singers and I'm like can you imagine being in a studio and you're doing that for hours and hours let's do another take your TT no you're two two yeah ah we're doing a remix yeah good morning Danielle oh thanks for joining us yay so I once again got to thank MBR cleaning and landscaping for offering weekly bi-weekly and deep cleaning services you can get them by calling 508-280-0605 online MBR landscaping.com thank you Bruno boom we are here on a Friday we are oh thank God it's Friday I know you brought me my macaroon I appreciate that that was absolutely delicious almond rackaroon with crumbles of pistachio on top it was beautiful yeah like a light dusting on top that's it it's so good we prefer light dusting rather than full six inches life is a live dusting yes so we have got a busy weekend you actually have a busy weekend yes yeah it's intense it's the 24 Hour Play Over the Provincetown Theater and they have I think it's seven writers seven directors and we have oh my 25 or 24 actors um and we all meet um right before we get there they choose to pair off the director and the writer then they pick our names out of the hat for the actors so I'm going to be acting in one of the plays and then we get together as our group for each play the writer gets to learn about you know what you've done what you're comfortable doing on and off stage wearing while you're saying Dance Etc and then the writer goes home and they write the play overnight and we get The Script Saturday morning 8 o'clock and we rehearse all day and when we perform Saturday night and Sunday afternoon your role was amazing last year and I've got to say you can watch it afterwards the the amount of work that goes into it is incredible and it's very funny there are there's a lot of Comedy involved usually good morning Danielle good morning Dave good morning Josh good morning Darlene thank you so much for joining us this morning yay as you can see I've got my JT Chronicles sweatshirt on repping my friend JT who just released a great podcast about the uh need for Biggs for um the Big Brother Big Sister program oh so if you want to volunteer if you've got a lot to give and you want to spend some time and Mentor some of these young people definitely definitely get a hold of them Big Brothers Big Sisters it is such a fabulous organization and JT talks about their ask for what's going on recently so it's a great podcast definitely have a listen to it and you can listen uh listenhappier.com or you can just find them on Spotify anywhere you get your your podcasts JT Chronicles podcast so I wanted to give him a little bit of plug this morning good morning Don 's our West Coast check-in I saw beautiful photos of California getting pummeled with snow I don't think I've ever seen snow past the Hollywood Sign like it was yeah it was it was actually a pretty nice the top that has a nice coat right the tips nope so just for a second just to see how it felt um California got some snow and it is a once in a generation storm apparently so yeah what did you just drop in the link I dropped the YouTube from last year's 24 hour play in case you want to check it out see what is it like um and if you if you like it um that's what the feel is it's every year some years it's a little bit more political oh during a certain last presidency there was a lot well I think it was just about the way that people well yeah can voice what they're going absolutely it's another artistic freedom of expression which which is kind of fun and the audience really enjoys it and the writers they do a great job yeah good oh no nothing I was gonna respond to Don oh okay as do the the directors I had a great director I've had I have every director I think this is my sixth or seventh year doing it last year's director he was he was a dancer professional dancer and it was more about the movement and that helped tremendously and that just kind of let the whole play freeform and just fall into place it was really great well I'm excited to see what what this year it's got cooking up yeah I'm excited too yeah yeah it's all it's it's delayed because usually it's done um two weekends ago in February um but for whatever whatever reason they had it delayed or they decided to do it I guess in March we have a little crazy crime happening in Provincetown this week yes we did I need I was I the first to alert you yes yeah well no my girlfriend had asked me and so I was like I don't know you know I get down here my like I get in cave mode right right so I'm like I'm busy I'm working I'm doing stuff or you have people visiting that's what we'll talk about later uh we have to we're going to talk about later or should we just peel this bandage all right let's work the Band-Aid off let's talk about mothers I should take my glasses off or not Don you know my mom said this yeah RGB had a mom visit conversation conversation yes you know and it was checking out and checking in and you know um I don't know my head mom visits this mom visits you know it was the last last week two weeks ago it was the approachment of uh the first year anniversary of my Dad's passing which was March 1st um but she was asking if I got a package I'm like yeah I got it it wasn't the teeth great yeah the teeth I shared them with you on Facebook you saw them those were rtb's teeth yep my big old overbite but of course it was broken she didn't pack it right so I was like okay well thanks for the broken molds appreciate that trash sorry oh you threw them out of course I think I would have kept them uh they're just weird enough to start a conversation oh yeah I'm just gonna pull them out on the clock just leave him on a desk leave bring them to work no bring them to work why not I'm not I don't live under the Mason-Dixon line that's true and also your work is not as weird as mine I would put them on the desk you would or if I worked in the dental profession I would leave those out at the coffee table well she also was asking me questions you know about you know she's like I don't want to pry but you know just did you know anything or did your father ever share with you because she found some stuff and this relates back to something I heard from a relative at the viewing now I don't go to viewings or funerals I think it's an archaic tradition if it's important to you that's great but I think it's a very it's not for the dead it's for the living and I don't want people coming up to me telling me about the person that passed and and my relationship with that person and how they what their impression of my my you know the person was it's just like I had a different experience so I don't I don't like all of that it's just Pomp and Circumstance sometimes it's just fake and I don't want to be around any of that anyway long story short a relative told me that they were in the room at the viewing and a woman came up to my mother and said to her I I love I loved Richie and my mom said yeah everybody does she's like no I loved him and without dropping a beat she said well he always came home to me and I was like oh my God why does this have to happen but this is stuff you read about that is so it's it's that's a movie right there it's solely it's a it's a lifetime movie was that an affair was that an emission of an affair why would you say that at a funeral well exactly it's like to the wife I am and you know what there was a our variety of moment where he had admitted that to her and it was just like you know their relationship was what it was you know I have my own life here and they had theirs um you know so it's just like Yeah The Walking wings are just bad for me it's an emotional picking of a wound you know and yeah let it go just have your memories I still can't believe that happened that is I mean I know the relative was like I can't believe it and there was nobody else there like you're walking through the line like the uncomfortable Shake as you're getting it it feels like this since this was like with a small group of people it was calculated you know of course that reverts me to Golden Girls and I'm just like when plants is Big mammit her Mammy comes to visit her and she's like I heard you got stuff up for auction she's like there was a music box that I gave your father and she's like oh I don't I don't know it's just like you know Blanche she's like I loved your father she's like everybody loved Big Daddy she's like no I loved you my father I'm playing just like get out of here she's like but Daddy was a Republican so that's what goes in my head at least you found a way to deal with that that's it it's the way I got a process is comedy because that's the thing a lot of tragedy and hardships are based yeah comedy is based on that yeah and some people do handle grief differently it is true that is just a bizarre time to be like I'm I'm the one yes I'm the other woman and no matter how clean you think your laundry is it gets dirty well that's it and I mean and everybody relates to stuff like that I'm sure there's somebody you definitely need to have a conversation with one of your besties before you know somebody needs to know where your dirty dirt is hidden in your house that way they can go in and get rid of it for you so no one else has to find out about it find that one friend that will do that for you and have a code word I have a code word my girlfriend Bri it's potato there's a potato and we all know what to do well that's gonna be a lemonade here now lemonade okay so there's the Band-Aid off right so that was the weird uncomfortable conversation with Mom yeah it was just you know and again it's like you know for me it's just like you know why well mine's retired now and has decided to meddle in our adult children's lives all of them so all three of us are in this group chat from hell I woke up to 45 new text messages today I was just like oh my sister's not glued right now because of it I shut that down everything is on unrest my brother did send me a separate text message thank you very much I appreciate your time and that's it like we don't have to get into feelings my brother and I just have the same one we're good we've got an understanding and my sister is in the middle like hey everybody look at me look what I could do look at what I could do Stuart oh my God my sister I I'm gonna send her to you Dawn because she's like she is she's losing it she doesn't know where she fits in at this point in time and we're all kind of scattered and so I I don't know these these are her choices so she's got to figure it out there you go at least she's looking right yeah you know but at the same time you know you have to really strongly sit back unobjectively be a Critic to yourself and your surroundings and what is good for you healthy yeah yeah you know you know and and not everybody's you know not this there's no recipe not everything fits in the same puzzle you know what I mean only because it's difficult yeah you know um because there are certain things yeah my puzzle doesn't have any outside edges right now I'm not really sure what we're going on but but I'm working on it I'm right on top of that Rose and all the middle worked out the edges aren't there though yeah and if that's what you want I mean you have to have some mutual understandings and boundaries yeah right that's the thing boundaries good morning Mari thanks for checking in I saw that A-Rod is working on his version of Ticketmaster did you see this no I honestly anything could be better so I'm not that I'm a huge fan of you a rod but if you're going to make it better for people to go and see shows at a better rate before it goes to all the other secondary and third tier of ticket selling yeah then that would make me happy because we were just looking at tickets for Leslie Jones right and just you know they Skyrocket we were talking about Duran Duran that's because all the Bots buy them up and then they resell them for ridiculous prices and it's not what the artist ever wanted either it's not like they're out to Pro price gouge so it makes it just aggravating to try and go and be a fan yeah I just want to go and be a fan and watch the stuff that makes me happy absolutely not gonna fight about it on on secondary markets it makes me crazy that's it I'm not giving tons of money to secondary market so they can sit around the couch smoking dope and eating chips don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining okay I know exactly where that money's going I said that not only is the government trying to crack down on Tick Tock but now it's trying to crack down on TAMU Sheen other Chinese vendors and my sister has become an absolute freak when it comes to frequenting Tamu because they have wigs so she's been sending me all these photos of her new Chinese wigs I'm dying I can't she's like what do you think of this one and I was like oh that's spicy like what are we calling her I'm dead serious is she really name her name yeah yes it is I feel like and and I'm gonna pull this into another Daniel Levy conversation but yes she is naming her wigs and she's got a bunch of them uh because she's got some female alopecia situations right so she wants to wear wigs it makes her comfortable it makes her feel glamorous but you know TAMU has been uh doing that for her so if you take away her new happiness and wigs I'm gonna wake up to 90 text messages so can we please just leave the cheapy deepy things alone I don't buy stuff online and because I never get what I want oh it's because I'll order something that I think and then it'll come in dollhouse size right speaking of buying what'd you get what is the new shoes in preparation yes in preparation for the 24-hour place I thought talk about this no we didn't I did this on purpose so this is a shoe I thought maybe maybe I'll wear shut your mouth right now what do you think if you've not heard that rtb and I went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony this man was dressed like he was in Hollywood people were pulling us aside so that they could get photos I did not do it on purpose for that yeah you could have told them you were in somebody's band or they would have been like yes sir come through yes sir yeah I know people were requesting photos with them that was fun I did like that Don 30 bucks oh so you know about the TAMU wigs also uh I love those shoes now are those the ones that you said these are more shoes those are more shoes um so I if I can drag it in there I don't know if that's gonna work shoot I was going to try to pull that oh drop that photo in the chat I try to drop the photo in the chat yeah I definitely have it somewhere so yeah um I'll take a look yeah you definitely need to see his outfit for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame we had a really really good time very very long show very long six hours that they were able to I only had one bathroom break I was so proud I was proud of you I couldn't believe it all right I had no hair pulling this the drink falling in your uh along your back excuse me excuse me my I think my shoe fell in front the drunk lady behind us oh my God I mean we know how much those tickets cost I cannot believe that she got so wasted before this show right to she spilled wine on my back she dropped her stuff she lost her shoes they all kept falling underneath my seat so I had to deal with this woman at one point the guy in front of me to the right started yelling at her oh yeah exactly and I was just rolling my eyes like oh my God she's directly behind me can we not I already am having a problem I can't I don't know where security was because I'm sorry I get this woman out of here then she started sneaking into other people's seats in front of us yeah so that she could get looks I mean and they stole all these programs it's like what are you gonna do is I think probably 15 feet in front of us and here's this drunk woman like slathering all over everyone and trying to get into like their space like yeah cool Jay I'll call Jay Jay yelling at them while they're trying to eat and no one removed her no they didn't I think they were just so worried about the filming portion of this and getting that right it was awful since they had a gaff at the beginning with Duran Duran yeah where they started and their intro music didn't happen so they had to like restart this show that they were filming for HBO what's wonderful is they're all so professional and they're used to stuff like that yeah it was like nothing yeah they were able to pick right back up yeah I love that it was it was pretty neat hey Jackie good morning so watching the behind the scenes of that and and being part of the audience for six full hours Dolly looked amazing she had such oh yeah her outfits were great you can watch it right now on HBO I feel like there's a sliver of of rtb in one of the shots I gotta get the exact time oh yes because they were showing somebody um in the audience one of the I think it may have been Mary J Blige yeah and you could see me in the in the corner yeah so there's like one little portion and then if you look a little bit like you can see my dress the color of my purple that's what you can see well it was funny because afterwards you're like I was ready for anybody to screw with you right anyway because Stephanie was just like I've got my compact here on seriously so ready I really was just because he was dressed to the nines like he he looked like he belonged to this award show actually receiving an award so it's great good morning Carol thanks for checking in in sunny Florida go ahead taunt us with how warm it is there and how happy you are go ahead you can call my mom it won't let me paste it damn it well I'll do it later just remind me to do it all right sorry guys because I always I always forget to do it and speaking of what's on HBO right now the idol so it's a new show that is the weekend able test by a okay acting with Lily Rose Depp you want to talk about nepo babies it does look really good it was slammed by Rolling Stone they had scaling situations to say about it but then I watched the clip in which they rip Rolling Stone in a scene talking to Dan Levy and I sat there and I watched it and I was like oh that's why Rolling Stone didn't like it is because they slammed Rolling Stone in the storyline of this new show there you go and I was so confused I thought it was going to be another disaster of a weekend performance kind of like that Super Bowl performance that we had had and I didn't really get the premise of the show until I had it written out for me of this is what the show is about it's about superstars it's kind of like mirroring what they actually their real life is only it's a a written out thing by the guy that made that horrible show with all those teenagers doing drugs Levinson oh uh let's talk about a real movie like Lesson Zero what is that what now let's talk about it yes well that was kids in Hollywood in the 90s early 90s you know into drugs oding you know it was a very powerful film yeah Robert Downey Jr was in it I just saw something Bangles have a great song from them yes that's what it was yeah if you've never been to a Bengals concert definitely go I was it's one of these concerts I wasn't really looking you know looking to go to and a friend a friend of a friend had an extra ticket and it was outside in Atlantic City outside one of the casinos I wouldn't have ever seen a show in Atlantic City it was so good they they give a great show they have so many great songs too yeah so there you have it you're a New Jersey guy uh well uh I grew up there it's really funny though but I'm a Bostonian yeah I've been listening that's true you know but you have a certain Canter of the way you speak and it was really funny I was watching comedian Tom Papa have this conversation I haven't watched that yet it all gelled for me yesterday when we met as you were coming to the cape yeah and I was like that's why you have a say it's it's a New Jersey New Jersey Canter the way that you speak it's definitely Regional but it's not like no super noticeable right until I heard somebody else and I'm like why does Rich sounds like somebody I know and then I was like wait a minute he's got to be and then I saw that you were both from New Jersey not nearby New Jersey right not but the other thing too is this past weekend my jersey guys are here yeah because when I spend time with them that starts coming out the Jersey comes out and he comes out in me it's one of the things Daniel used to notice when we started because we'd be they'd be around for Bear week maybe till the weekend and Etc um and yeah they know how to get it out of me good morning Bethany thanks for joining us so it is Friday it has been a super long week has it been that way for everybody else I feel like I have not been able to get out of my own way this week it's like one project to the next project you just wrapped up a big project that has been like yes kind of Milling about over your head yeah yeah and it went really well the meeting went really well now it's the next piece um and I do have things coming together for that which I'm happy about um yeah so it's just it's still busy you know I have a brand new we have a new director I have a new boss and everything's working really well and there's just a lot of work that has to be done up front you know but it's all good and I really am very happy with it um you know but then I've got those all these other things which we talked about yesterday as well um Daniel's endowment Daniel's gift fund or scholarship fund finally reached the endowment level I signed the gift agreement I'm going to be updating the website and everything so now the scholarship the endowment and his name is gonna live in perpetuity that's amazing really excited Daniel is rtb's husband who passed and he was an amazing performer yes and they have worked so tell everybody about the what the showman is funding the dominance through Boston University is called the summer theater Institute or busty b-u-s-t-i-n I love it it's for high school students who are interested in pursuing a career in entertainment and it's people who want to be on stage or correct direct uh lighting sound and they give this all these students that apply that are accepted this six-week emerging emerge immersion um experience and at the end they put on a performance so the people that are doing the lighting the sound on stage it's all the students um and they do a theme and anyway bu gives a scholarship but then I created this memorial fund to give a scholarship to somebody in the Greater Boston area and um if that doesn't work out because like last year we had a high school um chosen but their High School um already gave them the scholarship so then they look out Beyond and somebody that fits um the characters right yeah absolutely we've funded some people from California from Georgia anyway uh long story short it's just an opportunity to give people that are interested in just to fund the Arts and I'm really glad that we get to uh just continue Daniel's Legacy and give a scholarship to to people to kids that are interested and that have that you know drive it's amazing yeah I'm excited I am excited yay yeah and I'm gonna on the website I'm what I'm thinking is just to keep my venmo um because there are other other expenses that are going to be continuous you know to keep the website going and to do updates and hopefully I'm going to have the benefit concert that we did back in 2016 that was great so you guys can watch it yeah so uh yeah I have my my web guy working that out of that haunting rendition of Xanadu still plays in my head all the time thanks to Andrew it'll be like the most random thing I'll be doing and all of a sudden I'll start singing Xanadu and I'm like bye yep yeah and that was our song yeah have you ever had a song like that that you saw and it just kind of stayed with you and then you're randomly singing it it just comes to me like in the most random of ways and when we did the stage like run through I had been to all the all the rehearsals I knew the music director everybody was very personal and everybody was there I was at all the rehearsals but the rehearsal wasn't able oh I wasn't at was Erica and Drew her husband um because they were in New York but they came up to do that performance and I didn't hear nobody heard that version that Drew so good until the dress rehearsal when it happened and when it was done we all needed to take five it was just so personal everybody knew so much about us and our relation all our relationships we needed a moment just to kind of breathe because it was it was well done it was you know and it's it's something that you know I carry very near and dear and it was something so special that they did that I will never forget that was great yeah it was incredible I had um I'm Switching gears just a little bit because like we're just talking about our week and all the stuff that we've accomplished and I had a very interesting four-hour pod meeting yesterday and actually it worked out well because when we were we just we got together right at the same moment which was great yeah so I spent the hours going through actually a a cannabis company and their making of all of their products so it's kind of like Levert and Shirley back behind Lucille Ball and and that's right because you were like a Whole Net oh oh where's my hair now you need to see when I bring it down I feel like I did I feel like it did all right you'll find it as soon as you said Laverne and Shirley I'm like oh that's right you had that hair oh yeah I did I definitely put it somewhere today so that I would not forget it I just hope you're not gonna rip your underwear right do you remember that one I showed you girl hold it up oh my God it was the Pamela Anderson thing how she pulls up her bikini underwear and she puts her hair up with it so Pam Anderson said she always keeps a thong in her purse because that's what she uses his hair ties and so this other larger woman did a tick tock of it yeah pulled out her giant underwear and she could not stop laughing it looks like a swift cap and she couldn't breathe it was really it was good it was good we used to have um a shower cap joke on my old radio show and Dave hegner who is on our live earlier would send us shower caps as a joke but yeah I had the hair net on yesterday and I got to watch like the whole process from and it is very similar to whiskey making the way that they extract the the cannabinoids from the plant and they use all parts of the plant but I got to see the weed Locker like oh everything they lock it up like Pat like bat like giant bales of it it just looks like it kind of looked like so much of it that it looked like barley right oh God and uh they make all their products are organic so I'll let you know that it was at Coast uh Coast cannabis and it's run by a woman a woman that was anti-cannabis her entire life yeah and it was like her and her husband who met at Fitchburg State and they they're both in the business of it so she has founded this business and now it's a family-owned business everybody in the family mom dad brother they all work and uh they're all part of the business so I think it's really really incredible how they've bootstrapped this fabulous and it's really the the products that they make is all organic they're very much um making sure that the materials that they use are tapioca they don't use any any sort of um all their extracts are exactly plant extracts so they really go out of their way to make sure their product is uh or organic in every way shape or form and they let us in there and we got to actually see all of the ingredients and she's like I challenge any other maker out there on the market period to show your materials to show exactly what is out there so they were very open and it was just really incredible to see how many people are in the business and how much goes into it and the science behind it absolutely incredible like my brain hurt when I left there watching how many wonderful people they employ but also everything they do is on camera everything so me walking around with a handheld is not a big deal to them they're watched all day every day when they go to work wow the butter the peanut butter crunch looks good and the s'mores and they're coming up with some different products they were actually talking about some of the other stuff not the tea portion right but the CBD portions and the CBN and the CBG which I learned yesterday CBG is called guts and giggles really so if you want to have that happy euphoric yeah it's actually good for your gut health so CBG which I learned yesterday so it's not the THC that's the one that makes you feel high it's the other stuff that is like the good the good things that you need for it so it was really really informational yeah like I felt like I learned a whole heck of a lot that just reminded me we need to do something good morning Serafina we need to do something about that what oh yeah we'll talk offline about it oh okay excellent yeah so yeah I definitely I had a really but it was intense and I was videotaping and I'm going through batteries and I've got wires everywhere and I'm just I'm learning some new skills and it's been really really stressful but I I got it done I was by myself I didn't have the team I didn't have my hubby I didn't have my tech guy I didn't have anything it was just me sweating I like had a sweat mustache so I had to wear a neck right I was like I was stressed out but I got it done so yeah it was a lot and then I see this study this morning people who sexed are more likely to be insomniacs and weed users and I didn't I wanted to know why yeah okay and it basically says you've got too much time on your hands true I do have to say that I don't I don't do that because I'm a married lady we're not very we're very vanilla just because you're married doesn't mean you're about to leave at all I I know but we just are I think that we're just we work too much and we're too tired that's it I'm working all day okay I don't have time for that away from me I don't want to see it I don't want to touch it I just want to go to sleep oh God that's so true the sexiest thing you can do draw me a warm bath I did I took a bath last night it's like so fast I think now I can read your thoughts no we really do have a very bizarre connection I don't know what it is but yes do you ever have that friend that you just don't even have to talk and you just kind of know what's going on in their life it's a little bizarre well the other thing too is you know we we have this great camaraderie and one I get over the bridge and get here it's just like you know you get that subtle nice relaxation and it feels great and we just hang out and have fun I agree I don't know if we're on still because I think Cliff mess
