here we are hey everybody Sunday Funday knock about uh yeah yep as you're noticing I uh I have Bono as my guest today I have I have the honor to be here as guest of this wonderful woman unbelievable thank you so much for being here Bono I mean it's incredible that I saw you live on television Last Night Live Netflix special with Chris Rock you opened up the show and you you look a little different than you did at the opening of the show last night that's what people were saying I had my eyes closed the whole time it was really quite astounding for me I was in a virtual world yeah it was It was a very bizarre camera angle I noticed and I saw a lot of your nose hair which just kind of threw me off yes I saw it too and I went into the nose cavity itself it was very dark and Bleak in there I say I say yes but I I managed to have a good time anyway well good yeah awesome football players that I knew in there did you decide on Jailhouse Rock to open that up to sing that Elvis song did you decide that or did they ask you to do that uh it was a spur of the moment okay I uh I I called up one of my friends and and they said uh would you like to rock around the clock with me and I and I thought to myself Elvis Presley has a song like that so why don't I play it tonight and then I took the virtual helmet and put it on and it was all over oh all right well thank you very much good morning Sam thanks for checking in with us we are here at knock about as we are every single Sunday Funday they've always got something new Brewing whether it's a hard Seltzer or a seasonal brew once again I'm so blessed to have Bono here with me what have you been working on but no I mean this is your month I feel like Patty's Day month like this is your month what we do is try and get to as many places as possible I'm now here but I'm also as I was winking at you virtually in 15 000 other locations and pubs throughout the world this version of Bono experience 1A is here at knock about excellent okay just so you know right I mean it's not like I would show up and be here it's almost like I'm a cop or cut out almost very similar just so you know yeah I mean this is incredible so we appreciate you being here and spending the time with us this morning because I know it's a very very busy month it's also um can we talk about the special at all last night because we're one you know we're one yes we're one what's special well the Chris Rock special that you opened up last night did he get slapped again I dreamed that was it true did not slapped again I feel like he slapped back at Will Smith the way it should have been slapped back if you're not watching it I hopefully am not ruining anything for you Chris the rock we're gonna call him Chris the rock now it's going to be a you know you asked me a question like this I have been trying to tie shoes last many years as I've been alive if you've ever noticed I'm never wearing tied shoes I'm always slip-ons yeah I see that yeah whether they're lovers canvas I've been in canvas for the last 20 years right canvas canvas slip-ons but now I'm trying as hard as I can to tie shoes good morning that's what I've been working on thank you for joining us yeah Bono was just regaling us with his tale of working on his anybody helps and who does that his therapy is can call uh me bono1a on OA if you wish virtually good morning Kristen so you there is this album your last album bundle that you made You released it free to everybody on Apple music yeah that was a mistake on the toilet um I was on my cell phone and dropped the thing oh my God and ah I don't know why I'm admitting this to you right now maybe OA needs a little repair I guess but there I was and then bleep zap you know how it is with those phones I go to pick it up and God knows I got the thing all over the world uh-huh people in Indonesia saying good album within the first 13 seconds but the problem with that album is there's some weird glitch where when whenever I open play my car play my Apple music that album comes on it doesn't go away I've tried to delete it it doesn't delete there is you truly dropped it in the toilet there is a serious glitch in The Matrix with that album that won't go away uh apparently Walt Disney's grandson was in a basement somewhere doing some tinkering and he heard when I I say flushed out my album to the world which is an inside joke of mine uh but like he heard that yeah and then decided he would use that music to sort of do his little spy thing that he was doing and uh you know infiltrate the world with my music he did that that's Disney's grandson's fault not ours I gotta tell you I did not love the album but I think the reason why it's number one on iTunes everywhere is because you force it on everyone's computer their phone anytime anyone opens Apple music that stuff opens up and we're stuck with that album forever and it's not your best work we'll do Stephanie when you hear the story of Brian Epstein buying the Beatles first 1 500 records to send it to A1 Number One Love Me Do thank you very much that's what we're doing all the time anyway here genius genius on you one up for a01 B oh all right all right you're gonna have to I'm gonna shut your mic off for a little while maybe you can meet plug Bono back in America no seriously though Bono did open up the show yesterday Chris Rock's live special on Netflix they're promising more they went way out of their way to make this function the way they did it however I thought Chris Rock was absolutely brilliant I don't know what is coming out I just saw all the news with Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith and all he aired that dirty dirt and he definitely did verbally slap back but fought back the way humans and grown-ups do with their words not their hands so I definitely think he had a lot to say about it I was kind of a master class up until the very end and he botched a joke that kind of laid it flat and you could tell physically I could feel his upset permeating through the TV he had this look on his face like I'm so mad I gaffed this one joke it was kind of like the culmination the Pinnacle of the punch line and he kind of just he misspoke and he called himself on it and he went back for it and the joke was delivered and it was magical but you could tell that it did not get the weight that he wanted it to hold so I mean it was pretty incredible I really did love the special and I thought it was showing everybody else the right way how to behave so that was pretty incredible also Sunday scaries are not a thing here at Sunday Funday at knock about we're on Lake Ave and Mashpee we're here every single Sunday you never know who's going to show up thank you Bono uh we have a new guest also anytime you're in the community and you've got something to say whether it's a non-profit whether it's a business whether it's an event if you've got that coming up then we uh would be here to promote you encourage you for coming on the show oh can you zoom way out of my face thank you cameraman fail put it back all the way back leave Bono as he is foreign so um as you can see my co-host today is late so we are going to move on without her today and this month is all about women's history we have so many great fabulous things that are happening right here at knock about so as we're promoting other people I want to talk about some of the stuff that we're working on right now um so Canali Irish Fest is coming up they're going to be at absolutely every single one of the Irish festivities that are happening throughout the cape we've got tickets to the Cape Cod Irish Fest I will have them at every single remote and thing we have going on here with lemonadeio this week so if you drop by one of our trivia's if you drop by one of our music bingos uh or if you just swing on by here today we're going to be giving away a pair of Cape Cod Irish Fest tickets Ireland the band is going to be playing it is a fundraiser for Dana Farber so that is pretty incredible we've got that going on also um Ellis is going to be joining us next week so if you want Sunday Funday with food it's going to be close to Pi Day so we it'd be fun for an Ellis Patty's pie day it's going to be a breakfast pizza and that is next week here at knock about with Ella's so I'm excited for that pink boots we have an all women's group that has gotten together they're going to brew a special version of beer and it's for the pink boots Society and we're going to be doing that along with attican Acres which is a female Nursery right here in Mashpee and they're going to be having a live play in the dirt event so the kids can be outside and play in the dirt and moms can be inside joining the pink boots Brew which we're really excited for that so March is very busy here at knock about and a lot of activity which we're pumped for good morning Lee good to see you thanks for joining us um I oh well look at it's for this one um and you know you know we've always spoken about my influences and one of the influences today is um is Mr Paisley Blake chesner oh and he's one of my country favorites and you know my soft side of country soft side of country that I am really really explore Paisley Blake chesner wonder where you came up with that one Ainsley Blake chesner Paisley is Right Paisley's just he just got my heart like that and so you know I just learned this the other day this whole heart thing like this I just like I didn't know what that was I thought you know I thought there was some other thing going on but that's actually a heart um and so I got a song here about very you know would you want to say it's a modern occurrence okay and it's something uh social media does to us kind of gets us a little hooked yeah you know a little thing calls Facebook kind of gets you a little hooked you know it kind of hurts when somebody kind of lets you go you know what I'm saying Stephanie I do that big word unfriend oh or block it's a shiver sends a shiver right up my spine too by the time I have to say it and sing it but I do it anyway because I know it's important and so here's a soft country song dedicated to my last episode on Facebook she unfriended me on Facebook made me feel like a total mooc to golf with a cowgirl look and an autograph book and left me stranded with the cat it's by Ted Murphy wasn't it she put the block on my Instagram made me start a new will count as stand so I can spine a Costa Rican Knights compliment her butt in them you're all good get me darling here at home with the kitty litter and a box filled with our poems can't you smell the bitter odor of a love gone bad and the stench of the litter it's already been had he unfriended me on Facebook maybe feel like a total move golf with a cowgirl looks and a autographed books left me stranded with the cat you put a block on she put a block on Instagram made me start a new account as Stan I can spy in a Costa Rican Knights compliment her butt in them short little type squeezy little oh my God yoga time foreign took off with the cowgirl looks in our autographed books left me stranded with the cat meow meow my heart is still swaying when I had Bono watching me I had Liam Nelson watching me I had you're getting Applause all over the place all over Facebook and Instagram still like melting in the Ooze can we still find you a stand that's what everyone wants to know but I'm gonna say it again YouTube wants to know if they can still find you on Instagram and Stan or if you now just Loomis chocolate I only have the account just she's only I'm only following her that's the only it's a private account it's just me I didn't really mean to say stop did I say Stan I meant wallaby wallaby I would I wrote knock about and we're definitely gearing you up to get rid of the Monday scaries I saw an article this morning that was like East into your Mondays what you can do to get rid of Sunday scaries and I was like well mine end here at knock about what well that's why we don't have a problem with it it doesn't affect us because we don't have a whole day off ever so it's really never a problem but I like this new phrase it was bare minimum Mondays and I was like I love that so much so don't over attack your Monday and over schedule your Mondays which is a great way to get through your week Ted Murphy thank you so much for joining us Bree thank you so much Michael great to see your face thank you um and I had the privilege this weekend of hanging out with two of our podcasts here at lemonadeio making some great new content uh which I'm really really excited about and uh that is from fit fat chat they are going to be releasing a brand new podcast coming up at 3 P.M this afternoon I was also working with what's toking and they are gearing up for their big launch on 420. so this group of ladies I'm so blessed to work with so many fabulous female entrepreneurs business makers and shakers here on Cape Cod so I just wanted to give them a shout out for all of their tremendous amount of work we hung out at Coast cannabis we definitely checked out a few events and uh it's just been so incredible I'm just getting word right now that we're joined by Liam Neeson how did this happen like seriously who's booking these guests for us Ariel at the bar has definitely brought the guests for us here at knockabout to a stereotypical I believe it's leprechonic okay I saw Bono here just a moment ago yeah where did he go he's somewhere yeah so Liam thank you so much for joining us um pretty incredible I know you don't like to do a lot of press because you feel like people fawn over you women have this thing with you I don't know whether it's your voice um I believe it's partially that and partially my gentle chill you know giant kind of thing yeah maybe that's what it is because we did have to make a few adjustments to get you in the whole shot good morning Cora you do remember I broke into the world with a um you know Woody Allen movie oh I don't sensitive yes I was the sensitive uh uh boyfriend that you know kind of came in place of another older character and yeah and uh it was quite revealing to my character my sense of Hollywood and how things worked speaking of revealing um I have to reveal to you that I actually uh saw you in Death of a Salesman on Broadway when I was about 18 years old and um that was you were fully naked in that show on Broadway and I'm feeling a little bit uncomfortable right now being line of sight with your your bottoms yes uh well it was a necessity to play the role as you know completely naked like I didn't think it was necessary I would like to to explain exactly why uh at the same time that I was uh performing that act I was also doing a uh one of those digital scan representations of my body so that I can be replicated someday used in a a vinyl or latex format yeah uh and and uh you know in in a sexual way so that if people want to use me at home they could like have a part of me or something I see I see shoulder some people like elbows we do elbows okay the Liam Neeson elbow coming to a shop near you we can buy it on Amazon yes I'll have my own Lube cream coming out soon but we'll wait on that actually it's drinkable too you can put it in in and just stir it around I stir it in orange juice well that's a Wonder we'll make anything a liquid these days a little rum in there it sounds like a really good fun Friday night you know I gotta tell you Liam what have you been working on I know you've got a movie coming out right now but talk to me a little bit about your appearance on The View and how uncomfortable because Joy Behar has this gross crush on you uh it's it's funny that you say uncomfortable uh because they gave me the squeaky chair yeah literally uh I was I was uh you know they must have thought I was too tall or something to sit next to the ladies so I I came in and the producer had showed me one chair which was the regular chair and then then when I came back in he put me in one of those kindergarten chairs oh wow little tiny chest kind of rude my knees were literally hitting my jaw when I was saying things I was saying things my knees were hitting my jaw if you if you look back on the this is the wrong tape and go back it was a little uncomfortable but I like the ladies and me and joy uh were able to squeeze into an elevator for a little while afterwards okay because you said in a statement that you're never gonna go back on The View again so I was wondering if you got in the elevator and you know you're you're giving out your latex Parts everywhere yes that's my uh that's my seasonal politeness all of March I'm I'm very too polite you see on that elevator right she actually turned around and closed the door and said this is a squeeze play Baby Oh and proceeded to well squeeze me okay wow I was that's aggressive and this is why I to tell you the truth she forced me into the company yeah uh uh the lube company you heard it here and uh so she's making support all around off of the lube company on the back end no pun intended right exactly she forced me into that because it was very compromising taking pictures I didn't want the world to know I had anything to do with joy Baron and then I talked to my lawyer and they said you should probably protest it yeah I I do and you know what I really do appreciate the seasonal politeness as you call it I'm gonna have to use that good morning Sheila yes thank you so much you're
