Bare Minimum Monday

let's do it what's going on hey I know I'm so excited cheers with your water do you not have caffeine listen you know where I was on Friday night no we're worried about on Friday night it's one drinking water was it a Festa no I put a post up about it it was um it was just the usual Friday night haunt over at can we say where we go oh absolutely no I've never been to Tiki board tell me more really because me and Andy yeah right his name's engraved on the seat there I got a plaque on the back of the stool Stephanie sits here so there's a whole thing so they have a secret stat I'm not supposed to say there's a secret stash of pens now oh Tiki Port pens interesting but you have to be a special person you gotta know so I got a pen because it's a legacy pad there were no calendars this year oh that's right right I've been getting a calendar for years right I went in my office people come in and look at it right and they say what do you have to do to get a tiki Port calendar show up sometime in December usually whenever they come out Andy just starts handing them out to everybody so they didn't have calendars this year but so what I couldn't get rid of my calendar in my office so I just printed out a 2023 sheet of dates and isn't that sad I just taped it you're like there it is thanks a lot of Anthony now we're in the wrong year because I think this is the year of the whatever goat or rat you know yeah so it's the wrong year but that's okay but anyway so I got the panatiki port they broke out the pens and so now I have a that's it honey had a great Friday night for himself everyone this is Matt Pitta he is now with uh Davenport companies amongst other every other things that you do yes he's the consummate News man he's one in Edward R Murrow award three oh sorry you gotta get this right when you start interviewing people I mean it's pretty incredible that you and I have known each other for almost 20 years yes we have so much fun together whatever we're together it's just always constant it's usually work involved but it's so much fun you can barely count it as work yeah we've had a lot of good shows together yeah I agree good morning rtb listening in traffic on 93. perfect we're definitely traffic material that's for sure you know so I'm at Tiki port on Friday yeah and you know weird conversations come up I love that you know what I mean and this was one of those I don't know how to describe it but it was a it was kind of a d it was deeper than you get into it okay right so some people are sitting around and they hate going to deep Town though on a Friday night but you know it's okay because I think it it kind of moved beyond the deepness and that it kind of became funny but but the question was left open and I said well you know what I may try to bring this up I'm going to be on with Stephanie Viva I'm gonna make my debut on her I love it okay here he is so there were a bunch of us there who are of a certain age yep I use quotes I love that of a certain age it's a new thing you can probably figure it out yeah because I can see all the gray hair yeah but you get to a certain age right and then so there are people in this conversation about when you get to a certain age and you're in a Rel you're in a relationship right but you're not married isn't it weird that you call your other person a boyfriend or a girlfriend it is awkward when you're 18 years old and you know you're trying to you know date Susie or Bobby and horrible names that is of a certain age but you you know you see your buddy at the locker like oh I'm Susie's gonna date me Susie's going to date me we'll be her boyfriend it's just weird yeah so we try so what do you call it so what do you call people right is it significant another I know and then that just sounds weird that sounds so nondescript like you're hiding something is it your life partner yeah that sounds um then somebody says what's my lover yeah right now so what do you call it I mean I don't know so it was it was nothing was decided so the question is you know what do you what do you call people who you're in a relationship you know you're not married you're feel free to chime in on the chat here I'd love to know you're of a certain age so what are you calling I've been married since the beginning of time so I don't really know my starter husband and then my regular husband I move right on in what so wait a starter I did you didn't know that wait a minute it did so this is husband 2.0 yeah yeah but and we've been together 20 years so I don't do the math please don't I did so I mean I mean we just call each other babe we don't even call each other hubby and wife or anything weird like that it's just babe hey babe it's very non-descript it's not even cute anymore oh yeah babe the pig so that was the conversation it is it is partner I don't know I don't love that significant other yes oh my other I feel like other is fine but not significant no I mean if they're in your life it should be significant enough right that's right if you're bothering to refer to them as anything my girlfriends call them the each other lobsters what lobsters because apparently lobsters may they keep going back for the same thing it's like a penguin will they make for Life yeah my Lobster my penguin I don't know if you want to get cute with it I though that um yesterday I was talking about it 60 percent marriage rate has fallen 60 over the last 50 years so there's going to be more of this situation happening where your people are cohabitating get not marrying because we're too old for that it's something like under I thought it was even under 50. like total people of married age or it's under 50 yeah so the number of people with marriage is lower yep that was the stat that came out over the weekend and I was like that's pretty significant yeah and people aren't having kids either in this country either there's a you know I think they've learned they've learned from the Boomers right I look it up every day it's one of those mental things that there and then there was the fight of the year or two here and there where everyone's like no no it's not so you know the Gen X are we Gen X yeah we're generous you're still Gen X all right so the Millennials are getting they seem to get really you know chastised they're not working Mark you know I've been to Tiki Port continue on you know apparently they're not working the the Millennials don't want to work I I keep saying these things on Tick Tock from these Millennials you know about oh I want better balance in life well you know how about you need a paycheck too what are you gonna do you can only live in Mom's basement for so long yeah right I agree so I don't know it's the whole and then what's the next Generation after Millennials and then there's why I think it's y right the youngest are wise now uh I believe yeah yeah so what's after that I don't know I don't know I can't keep track of them yeah so we're X and next generation is Millennials then right or is there something between x's and Millennials yeah the millennial and then z z yes then Millennial and no no it's Millennial Benzie I don't know there's like an in-betweener it's an in-betweener I know we know that we're off camera right now but you're listening to our voice at this
