mom's not here so the toys are out to play the land of toys we have such a land of toys for you and we're really excited to be broadcasting live from the crowd at anchor we have been enjoying so many creative costumes and spins on like operation that you would love hopefully they'll be coming back down a long Commercial Street here at Province Zone my absolute favorite though is when the group costumes I'm walking down the road yeah and all you have to do is say the right words and they will stop they will present they will sing their song they will magically do what toys do I mean there were a bunch of Scrabble tiles and I thought they'd form one word and all of a sudden they're like moving to form like four words I think we got three words every time absolutely it was fantastic so it's creative it is it's magical here so it's a it's such a Barbie Fest we knew it was going to be Barbies but if I uh leave with one thing today I'm gonna be hearing hi Barbie hi Barbie yeah and then guess what all day you're not a Barbie no you're Raggedy Ann listen this is my brother ragley Randy he's always getting in trouble yeah protecting her and he loves what I put on that voice when I got my toy voice on well sometimes she gives me the black eye from trying to choker happy to have you here with us Angelica's doll what was Angelica's doll Angelica do you remember the Rugrats Angelica's doll's name she's got a stumped on this one high five you never know what you're gonna find in the crowd and boy did I find my favorite ladies there's another Pinocchio going down the street Pinocchio's been telling lies left and right it's longer and longer every time he broadcasts um the parade is about to begin we're very excited to be here broadcasting live on Commercial Street in Provincetown what is the official time at three o'clock is when this is supposed to you're seeing the crowd start to thin and make way because people literally will not move until the parade starts coming down so I may start way over on the east side right you guys we got here at about 11 o'clock today and there were no spots well you live here so thanks for having me back brother I had to give her my parking space I refuse see what happened nice baby listen I didn't mean to hit him so hard but he just doesn't listen yeah she thought we were play acting where's my Bruce there it is Lauren on underneath this Raggedy Ann outfit and I'm still sweating the word raggedy just says it all raggedy right now it is a little musty I don't normally paint my face so I've been trying not to scratch it I thought you're gonna say pee your pants not well I do that all the time but you're not busy wetsy I saw her hi Pac-Man hi I'm so glad that you could actually see that I'm not crazy and they have the other side of the camera well eventually they'll see a Pac-Man coming oh my gosh find it out on the replay folks yes definitely do that we are having such a good time here we have a parade of dogs coming down now carry their dogs it's so cute oh here come the trolls the tokens those are cool if you've never been to one of our bingos these guys bring you luck no they don't not if you've had a lot to drink I don't know if he's bringing anybody luck but you're good hold on I gotta rub a troll now I have glitter on me it's like the herpes to the glitter World there it'll never go away you also having his first time today so he's had a couple of Firsts this week he went to his First Tee and now he's at his first Carnival yeah and uh neither are what he expected and he's actually very normally get to go out and play and have a great time exactly and play stuff like trivia that they don't get a chance to do exactly so we're here with the land of toys in Provincetown it is Road Race weekend on the other side of the cape so uh we'll actually be broadcasting live from the finish line of the Falmouth Road Race on Sunday which is really cool we're working with heroes in transition we got a little fun um and honorable veterans thing that is happening before the kickoff and then we're gonna get to see the elites across the finish line which is so magical everybody that does that race I mean a buddy of mine did it in just that that mile that Hill that you go up it's obnoxious to finish yeah I've done it 15 times the last time I did it I broke my foot and then I was the last person to cross the finish line in fact they had a meeting about it and they said that they were going to make an award for the last and I was so excited that I sparked some sort of loser award but you didn't get it no no yeah it didn't happen listen I am the inspiration of the loser you're an inspiration to a lot of things should we call it touch about a couple of the other ones in my life is there something else you did during that road race exactly well I can't hear anything right now because I I'm Randy I unplugged my headphones hold on show the crowd your toys mom said that you should play with your friends I know you don't have any so maybe you should just play with your boys wow we're having a lot of fun here I got some toys today from one of the other people that were in the parade a wonderful talented uh seamstress seems person uh yeah who created a whole dress made with those little stuffed animals it was amazing it was a strapless dress I'm gonna I wish I could drop the photo but there's too many moving Parts here right now to drop it so I will in a reel if you want to watch and see some of the fabulous costumes yes oh these are us these are us hi these are us of this oh yeah you have real things to talk about it's true yes as we Bop in and out of our characters it's Toyland how can I follow that I really want to choke her no but the Grand Marshal is the Monica Mora uh AKA Jason Carter who's from taunta Massachusetts um if you look at him I'm saying it right it's Taunton if you're from anywhere near Toronto I'm not it's Taunton all right you're welcome but there's a lovely spread in the private sound magazine this week and uh it was just you know what happened was uh Monica dress up went to the sun Tartan Public Library thank you the drag queen Story Hour uh went beautifully was fantastic the next week they were protesters there that barged into library and scared all the kids and their parents as well as the people that worked in the public library and um what was wonderful is that the mayor Sean Shauna O'Connell came out in support of Monica and just promoted nothing but that the community came together and helped support her um and now does the drag show also at the New Bedford hotel as well as continuing to do the drag Story Hour so Provincetown has honored her with this Grand Marshal event at the during Carnival because it's a great opportunity to support somebody who's in our community in the Commonwealth that deserves to enjoy and and show their Artistry and also do good in the world so this is our Grandmaster for the Provincetown Carnival yeah it is about to happen we're here at um yeah no but the midpoint of the break yeah yeah this was wild I mean you really had to plan to park it is super crazy every single year wow well if you're coming in to visit there's only so many people that live here year round we'll have a fun time in December I have a fun time in bubble so let's have a fun time America absolutely raggedy and gonna have a fun time about an insurance seminar folks actually yes that is facts all right so Barbie over there is not happy with her beverage well that's okay and play Come on there's some people that live here locally I think all of them live here locally they're you know the show's been giving great reviews everybody loves it so if you have an opportunity definitely go check it out uh at the crown since we're here tonight there's a Days R Us dance party happening at 10 o'clock and then tomorrow there's a pool boy party at noon um then there's a a meet the artist they're doing a six o'clock and tomorrow night exit through the dollhouse oh separate and not to be confused with welcome to the dollhouse uh the music's by Matt uh Matt Suave and if you have a Mom this mom that Randy doesn't like what I talk about Mom because Randy likes to wear mom's clothes when Mom's not around only the one outfit and it was because it was her it was your Emmy dress worn by Candace Bergen but anyway anyway I I think I still have that dress by the way oh my God this is honestly very exciting but whenever I get into costume I can't not be in costume I don't blame you something they need to gripe about there's a way to mediate all of that you know because you're you're killing someone's business and a great idea a wonderful entrepreneur who's serving the community and something that the community wants that's that's that's where I I feel I'm just as passionate as you are about uh supporting people that are just having other other business owners just kind of like die down on them and it's really really not it's not it's not um well you can't talk people out when they're doing well and that always wow if that's your motive then you know that's really a business model that is malicious and you know eventually Karma will bite in the ass but I don't want the business owner to have to suffer for that Jessica Rabbit is right in front of us yeah you're ritual yesterday we also had AJ hysterical who is isn't he funny yeah yeah dude I know he's doing a lot of Comedy stuff with paperback comedy and you can find them at knock about and I'm really excited to have some of his comedians on with us yeah uh as well as I've seen AJ grow from a baby comedian to how comfortable he is in this space right now he's also giving courses on stand up which is great and you and I have long since you told him and he's willing to like I know help you out there so like awkward it was wild because I was meeting with his mentor for his mentor past so my friend Preston wow so it's like really a passing of the torch for me to watch yeah that the growth that he has taken on so like it's also personal Pride but also I'm like right I need to do that I want to do that well what's great about that is like you know his mentor you've seen his growth and you see how he's paying it back by being a mentor to others I'm like that is an amazing like and meant to be thing yeah so that that's wonderful to hear I'm shocked that we've seen so many Tinker Toys here today I love it oh my God you're just seeing him walk past right now no that's the crane that's a buddy of mine yes with the claw he has worked really hard oh my God yeah he started all the way down from the boat slip and just went all the way towards the east end so what you were seeing was him walking back with his claw and his he's been holding this horse he's been doing this for at least over an hour hour and a half so he's tired so he's gonna put that Crown away and just enjoy a few cocktails which he totally deserves that's my friend Greta go giving him a shout out he has put a lot of thought into that costume and a lot of heart and sweat right yeah absolutely you're just if you're here on a Wednesday night all summer 7 30 I believe uh Julie my air amazing Cuban musician wonderful talent I was just I was like American Idol she was on American Idol and I believe of America's Got Talent um was was just about to become like I think one of the finalists um beautiful voice wonderful wonderful heart personality puts together an amazing show I mean I was like I wanted I wanted my own bongo drums just to beat along because it's just it was an infectious heart that whole theater like you just wanted to be like joining in and having a great time it's just a regular person too yeah you and I were sitting at the bar we were about to go to another place and she saw you from across the room and she's like yo you're coming you're like I bought my tickets yeah and then you were talking back and forth right they had never met no we had RGB has this like magic which I love I also have similar magic just in a different space but you had this magic where you just like made eye contact with her and she's like we're gonna be friends and what was great about it is like you know I you know we we I went to the concert we met we had after the show and um she gave me a a very special little gift after the show and um I've got a special place in my heart for her Billy is an amazing artist and I just know that recently she turned 28 uh and has made a major major decision I can't wait to hear about it uh and all I do is wish her the best it's fantastic I love it so these are the artists and people that you're gonna find here at the crowd absolutely yeah I know you're watching the live feed going this is pouring down commercial streets so next time you're never going to be able to see Commercial Street the same again because I don't think anybody's ever done a live no and it's going to be like you know the pictures the pictures like maybe at night or late at night or some little like snapshot a carnival or when we have winter storms which is great too because it's beautiful it's magical um no matter any time you're in Provincetown I tell people this all the time and I know that some locals are tired of hearing that word but Provincetown really is a magical place and it's whatever you really needed to be the teenage mutant turtles have a emerge oh they have a marriage and they're wearing their little mesh shorts they are they are pretty fantastic yeah but it's true I mean the carnivals the in the afternoon the most vibrant crowded place and everybody loves coming up here not just from outside the Commonwealth of Massachusetts but everywhere on the cape would come here and have a great time my favorite was I saw what was the license plate I saw driving up here it was 188 games I don't know I was already here and then it was just like these two very fabulous humans driving and you're just like you see each other I had three people Snapchat me because you're driving your vehicle I'm driving my 1180 in the morning thank you very much product placement yes okay but now let's Kia make sure you swing through and say hello to all of their sales people so yeah I was driving my little cute thing up and Jermaine was like hey girl hey move get out of the way but I had my moment where I was like that is awesome yeah as you get closer to Provincetown there is no accident why American Horror Story when they opened up that season of driving into Provincetown on that street yes where you've got salt water on both sides yep and the sun set or the sunrise and is on that like little plane and you're like about to add into a magical land so that shows you the spiritual side and then you with the Instagram it reminds me of 21 Mile more miles to heaven on The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas that's what is kind of like driving through traffic on the cave just to get here because you're ready you're having your vacation or your long weekend and you're ready to party and just have a great time your other person absolutely fantastic it really is so I had that I always have this spiritual moment when I have that I see this I have this look and it doesn't matter what's playing on the radio or who's talking or who's in the car I always have that moment where I'm quiet my mind gets quiet and you just watch yeah because I know that you you know because you look you you know you're with music all the time yeah your moments that are spent not like working it's weird you love having that silence and that really is kind of your you know your sanctuary in a way yeah and so it was that moment where my brain already just quiets itself I hear fuzz and foam when I think of that memory absolutely yeah and I can't tell you what happened in the car and then my husband's like remember I told you I was like where'd you tell me like yeah and that's great absolutely yeah oh my God this Sunday at Town Hall is the chance now what is the chance amazing a beautiful singer actress actor uh from Broadway uh yeah this is the it gives you that gives you that push you know and to just reappreciating people that are in the Arts it really is great I love that you are allowed to be whatever it is that you want to be and I love
