hello and good morning good morning boys and girls happy New Year look at that our first show I've been so lazy well folks seriously this morning is going to be all about Stephanie because you have it's disgusting of shingles it's awful I'm like slopping off my skin I've never clawed at myself so much in my entire life it's like I've rotten chickenpox it's not a lot of fun Mari had it it's several years ago now and she ended up in the hospital well one of my girlfriends was like oh my God I couldn't breathe I couldn't this I couldn't that I'm like all I do is itch yeah like I live in the bathtub right now I'm like submerged it's ridiculous not loving 2024 thus far no and and and it's caused by stress that's one of the things that triggers it yeah sure they're like well you need to not be so stressed out I'm like oh okay yeah like when Mari had it when Mari had it Mari ended up in the hospital and the doctor said so you involved in any kind of stressful situations and she said yeah I'm a real estate agent and went okay that's seriously I yeah I'm just I I don't even know what to do with myself at this point so uh but you here nonetheless and you worked last night that's it I did I was out last night I got a little bit of like people time in there good morning Ashley happy 2024 so happy to see you again and good morning Lauren thank you so much for checking in looks like uh oh places spaces is Off to the Races it's a lot that was mou that's a lot yeah that's a lot for 2023 they had a fun little familyfriendly New Year's Eve situation so that was nice that's nice how'd you spend your your New Year's um we what did we do we went looking for Giants okay um for a little while love the sandwich Giants yeah we drove around for a little while and and found some there's 82 you know well explain to people what they are well the Giants if you don't know what they are they're these large lit up um um things that people put in front of their businesses so if for example your Canning service station um that's a large lit up mechanic holding a screwdriver or or or a wrench yeah um if you're the store in downtown sandwich that sells um windmills and things yeah um wind that's not what I'm thinking of like kites no no no no no no the thing that goes on top of a building that spins around oh like weather veins weather veins thank you very much wow we're off to a good start 2024 well you want me as a partner in one of those things sounds like I'm a charades Queen you you have hanging on the side of your building you know a cloud pushing out the wind and it's all lit up um and it's done by Mr magiar who owns the glass studio and he's made them all I don't 6A yeah he's made them all they're all really cool whether it's the church and the the candle and they've got pretty much a giant for everyone 82 and so how many did you guys check off your list I think we saw about 15 or 20 yeah I mean there's just so many and some of them I guess now are in in neighborhoods and in front of private homes they're very cool I really enjoy them when you're driving through the town of Sandwich in the month of December definitely check out the Giants right you should get one out here a big lemon a big lemon well I'll have to see with the new space uh 2024 we're bringing in some some big things hopefully we'll see right right and one of them is new space well uh you also took one for the team yesterday and did the Polar Plunge yes I did I represented I put on my my lemonade long sleeve shirt and ran into the water and turned around and ran out if you'd like to watch the film you can recap Hank not really going into the water I was like oh here he goes look at him I'm so proud did he even like go past his knees he's like like you made it look so good too it was like Bic going down the beach here she goes and I'm getting out getting out no the problem was I didn't count on Sand being so cold if I had had water shoes on or flip-flops on the excuses I would have gone all the way in it's the sand everyone the sand now my granddaughter Mariana she did it last year on her own yeah this year I did it with her and she went all the way in and she got when she came out and then she said you know we should have worn shoes this year Papa and I said well that would have made the difference that would have made the difference I said okay so next year but that was the only reason why the water didn't bother me all that much well it looked like a good turnout I love everyone at knockabout they're always so fun oh yeah but what what was funny was everyone lines up and they're gonna start the countdown 54 3 2 1 yeah and a bunch of people take off and jump in any is that what it was because I was wondering what the heck was happening good morning Nat oh yeah happy New Year to you right so then what happened was they made the people who jumped in get out and then they did the countdown and everybody ran in again instead of just saying to those of us who didn't get in all right just go and get it over with I saw who was there Leif and Moody and Megan all had like polar bear heads on right I was like okay and the Cog was there and I missed and I missed him oh really yeah I think it's probably because I ran to the car like a little girl turn the heat on we love that good morning Lynn thanks for joining us this morning what's up Mark thank you for joining us happy 2024 to everybody yeah um Lynn I saw you post there was an earthquake Where down where you are she if you could follow Lyn if you could just follow up yeah let us know about the earthquake there's some weird things going on with World huge earthquakes in Japan yeah overnight tsunami warnings and and all kinds of things it just just weird stuff going on well even yesterday we were all watching she said yeah there there was an earthquake well did you feel it Lynn 2.4 2.4 okay so I guess you didn't yeah right well that's like the one time that we got an earthquake around yes and I yelled at my husband I thought he hit the house with the car I did I was like are you kidding me right now he's like what are you talking about and then all of a sudden on Facebook we had an earthquake I was like oh that's what it felt like I was in I was in San Diego I was in La Hoya once several years ago now went a bar that's a big one and and it was kind of okay did I have too much to drink or was it just an earthquake and everybody kind of looked at each other and went earthquake yeah that's scary yeah and then everyone picked up their beer and kept on going yeah right nobody cared a typical California Fashion what's happening who cares who cares an earthquake whatever I have another one LD said um loud rumbles heard for miles but really no damage nothing well that's good nothing much happy belated birthday to you Wendy my birthday sister and oh yeah see Lauren remembers that a couple of years ago the front of the house started shaking it was really weird yeah and Ashley was defending you something is better than nothing Hank so thank you very much Ashley there was polar plunges you know what kind of an easy year to get out with a Polar Plunge I saw a lot of people in Province Town right uh as they normally do but it was it was a nice year much better than this morning where it's like frost on the ground oh when I went out to start the start the car I was like oh Mother Nature coming for us I'm looking at my watch and I'm going I'm gonna get there in time I still have time to stop and get my coffee and then the Dunkin Donut at Time Forgot it may be all prettied up nothing else changed oh that's too bad I was hoping for better things for them no no 12 minutes to get a coffee yeah if you'll you'll remember the Dunkin' Donuts in between my house and Hank's House shut down right before Christmas to revamp regener yep just up words same problems new building same problems right right come on I just want a coffee well now just a coffee right just a coffee that's one of my New Year's resolutions just a coffee it's better than saying no Donuts just the coffee is positive so just the coffee no Donuts some people are having a dry January I'm having a no donut January yeah I think we're GNA do a mostly dry January no no no no no no no no no yeah what do you mean mostly dry well yesterday didn't count oh okay you know what I mean really yeah yesterday didn't count I had a couple of seltzers it's not like I went crazy and it's not like I've been particularly boozing it up I've been itching in my tub well that's true you're kind of off the hook if you need something to help you get through you're right you can have that's I can't stand all or nothings you know I I really feel like that we can ease into this year without being like this is the hard date where I'm shutting this off because you know that this is garbage right Mark where were you yesterday I was at home yesterday that's what I did yesterday scratching see that's why dry January is better than saying I'm already dry dry 2024 whatever however it is that you have to do I mean we know ourselves right we know we're just lying to ourselves my New Year's resolution is just one pot of coffee that's good that might take the edge off yeah not feeling too uh are you no I'm just not one of those people I'm gonna go back to the gym I'm making healthier goals I got my little Journal out yesterday I ordered a brand new like planner Journal whatever and I'm like all right well this is goingon to be I left it upstairs already I ordered I ordered my calendar book and and it's like twice the size of what I really need well it's good because you lose things you're like me yeah yeah you know but but each it's it's it's kind of more organized and there's times in here and everything so it'll be hard for me to screw stuff up but watch I will well that's you look at your January looks nice and full I'm kind of slowly easing into the month I'm not doing anything super crazy y yep see ladio lemon Ado lemono I like that schedule lemono now I've got to put in Thursdays news folks I'm going to be here Thursdays too so we got Tuesdays and Thursdays now look at this guy I know it the hardest worker we got right now take take care of you hardest working man in like in lemonad Land good morning Gloria thanks for joining us I've been following your travels and excitement uh over the last month you've had you've been busy very busy everything in moderation I try Lauren this is like my new the the new Stephanie is trying a little bit the amount of blood work I had had over the weekend like I can't I can't even tell you and this poor woman I'm going to name you Danielle and poor Danielle could not find a vein on me to save her life and we're stabbing we're stabbing we're stabbing she knows who I am yeah just like oh my God poor girl I'm not gonna say where Danielle works I'm not gonna throw Danielle under a bus but she did her damnest to just absolutely make me look like a camouflaged and you just wouldn't bleed apparently I wasn't having it but all my numbers looked fairly good so that's good but everything's like borderline oh jeez everything's kind of like e if you had that one last cookie Stephanie this is gonna be the we're we're on the other side right so it definitely was a wakeup call for me to be like everything looks on the edge probably should like rain it back in so we're doing a lot more water a lot more movement and a lot less I mean we're doing meal prep we even told the kids I'm like no more eating out like this has been an exponential month of crazy for us oh we've been bad too we've been awful just disgusting the amount of money that we spent on takeout food being out oh I know just for no reason absolutely no reason so my son all all weekend well let's go out with a bang can you order me another Pizza this will be the last last time how about the last last time he's going to be the one that's on The Struggle Bus but we got all the stuff yesterday I'm like meal prepping like try to set myself up for success I don't know about anybody else working on just setting themselves up for success but well see it's hard for us because we live so close to mashby Commons it's really easy to say we get on to mash B Commons we'll find something right and you find something but you know you end up spending $200 for supper when you could have stayed home and made a meal for 2750 I know I know it's it's so true what's up Nate we missed your birthday Wendy and all of a sudden we just got older yeah right Gary Andrew thanks for joining us this morning yeah I love that Lauren just every day some small steps towards being a better me I don't think anybody needs to do I'm doing dryish January we're do you know if I don't need it I shouldn't have it I'm just really I'm working on the moderation thing y yep well when you're working when you're doing your your events you're in places where there's alcohol being served anyway so it's hard not to say you know what I'll just you know that looks really or then you get hungry and then you're like I'll take some of this to go right no it's always my downfall so I need to eat before and then have something afterwards at home for me like waiting right so that's what we did I made a big pot of kale soup yesterday went into work and then had a little bit um when I got home so it wasn't like crazy or I wasn't leaving the house starving yeah going to work and then eating bar food which is just been been my so so healthy downfall this year it's delicious but it's not good for me no it's definitely not no so who out there is doing dry January has anybody else like got a resolution because I don't really love resolutions but I feel like setting some goals for your year maybe it's Financial maybe you've got a big Financial goal maybe you've got a good career goal maybe you got a plan to organize your room that's always been the bane of your existence and the thing about the goals is that I have learned after all these many years is the big sweeping goals don't work and it's got to be the incremental kind of like adrive January not ad Dy 2024 right you know it's got to be I'm not going to the gym every day Mari and I have have agreed we're gonna do something we're gonna walk or we're gonna go down to the gym at The Villages three days a week yeah that's perfect you know you can do that yeah that's not as overwhelming as every day oh oh I didn't go today I've screwed up the week I might as well not go at all that's that's kind of like how I roll I was like well if it's out it's next Monday start again who out there was like next Monday is going to be the day anybody right oh this week's already over it's Tuesday I mean it's ruined right we'll start next Monday I had a beer oh well where are my gymo goers that are already ready gym goers are you prepared for the Star Wars bar that is going to be happening at your local gym because that is literally what's going to be happening for this next entire month as it whittles away but it is it is going to represent a scene from Star Wars like you've never seen people working out before be ready for it that's I'm there I'm there to watch right I'm a people Watcher all day long and you've been going to the gym anyway I have I have y so it works out so you're not you're not one of the newbies anymore no I'm I'm still like waiting my foot in it though Y and I still thankfully love my gym over at Quench and they're like are do you want to set up an appointment I'm like maybe I didn't say no but I didn't say yes but I do in fact use the pelaton at least once or twice a week if nothing else how about the rowing machine I like the rowing machine yeah I I do I used it three days ago as I was trying not to itch my skin I'm like you know what maybe I'll do a row that'll make me feel better right did it no no absolutely not I mean I felt better after and then I took like a two-hour TP I miserable everyone like really struggling right now I've not been ill or taken down down by something else in a long time so it's frustrating not to be able to focus on anything else what you're here I am and you work last night I did and you have tonight off right no I'm working tonight we've got trivia we've got New Year trivia over at Shipwrecked I will be there from 7 to 8:30 uh definitely come as a team it's a fun trivia this week I I enjoy the questions we've got portmantos oh really so portmantos are two words mushin to one word like brunch right who doesn't like a good brunch oh interesting that is the answer for number one just in case I see you tonight okay so we got over there yeah right portm and then we've got dry January right do you know what's weird about going over to shipwreck and we were there for your December 26 because your birthday and everything and then Mariana and I went outside to be able to be at that place in Falmouth and stand in the middle of the street and there's nobody there Isn't it nice it's so cool and to walk over to the beach and we have we have found some really really nice you know whole seashells and yeah with clunks or or what whatever you want to call them but like we're the only ones there it is so weird yeah I like it yeah being in the Heights in the winter time is really oh yeah I definitely suggest everybody do it at least one time that's why everybody likes Falmouth in the fall right you run the Falmouth Road Race in the fall it's quieter it's cooler way less peopley right and speaking of Falmouth a big fire in Falmouth so sad our hearts are with Falmouth Village right now if you didn't hear um the the alarm started ringing I think it was three alarms by the time I got to dins last night and uh just watching Facebook and Twitter and watching people um so many text messages I got for that building that was on fire so between a n that block and what's awful is the people that are displaced there were so many upstairs from the store so it's not only the pickle jar kitchen and twigs and all the other businesses that were in that block on Main Street of Falmouth but it's all the apartments upstairs I mean think about it you just had Christmas you just had Hanukkah you just had Quanza you just had a house full of new stuff right right that just got lit on fire like that's just so awful and to be displaced this time of year and it's not like we're overrun with places for you to go no and they haven't said why yet no no was did but it started did it start in the the store that got really destroyed was what Twigs uh the whole building the whole the whole thing you know was interesting when they were interviewing people on the uh for stories on the news this morning the number of people who commented that was the only section of um downtown Falmouth where the building stayed the same there hadn't been a new front put on it or any kind of yeah you know flashy signs or anything it was like the way it had been for horsehair plaster I'm sure that place went up oh I'm sure when it went up it went up like crazy you know so sad and the pickle jar they were you know they were noting that kieri had been there yeah you know did a Diamond D whatever it is diners driving and Dives you got it segment hooray and if I remember the story they parked the convertible out front and if you went near it you were going to get shot watch out you couldn't go near it you could look at it but you couldn't go near the the Corvette there because he had to get in it and do his little I'm just not a fan of him I don't love guy Fier I don't know what it is and for them to give him hundred million is ky fiery worth a h hundred million do to keep on the Food Network well he's like every time you turn it on there's some show that he's on yeah maybe I he just grosses me out when he eats maybe I just don't like watching people eat and he's just like so gross about it I think it's a turnoff it's like that Andrew Zimmer guy that used to walk around like go and eat bugs and oh my oh every time he ate it was like his teeth and like crunching into bugs and I'm like I can't watch him eat makes me sick well you know what they say about about diners divein Drive-In and Dives I'll get that straight yet if he only takes one bite y he doesn't like it oh if he takes a second one then that's how you know then you know that he likes it I mean he takes one bite and he'll say something positive but if he only takes one bite he didn't like it yeah interesting and there's no um prep time between when when he gets there and when they shoot oh it's just like let's go let's go he shows he walks in and there you his time is money there you go don't waste my time but it's all happening in in um in real time makes sense it's not rehearsed he's not saying okay I'll do this with the mixer while you do that he just walks in and bang they film it interesting you know so that's kind of real reality tv as opposed to this week which is big event this week what is this week the golden bachel is going to get married oh my God rtb was sending me photos of like why are these people on the New Year's Eve blah blah blah blah blah they were on apparently they made a a guest appearance on Ryan C crest's show they went to this they went to Puerto Rico earlier on in the night because they rang in the New Year an hour early so they went Dian arat Tores who used to be uh Mark Anthony's ex-wife and she was Miss Universe and they left her out there high and dry I mean this girl had no script she's a supermodel she's like we are so joyous so I didn't say it happy the people we are happy oh no it went on it was the most uncomfortable three minutes I was sitting there watching it like popcorn like this girl she is frying out is anybody else watching her die out there this is awful and great at the same time cuz you feel bad for it CU you know no prep you absolutely know this girl's got nothing to say they're leaving me out here to look pretty and I've got nothing and they keep like just like waiting waiting to go back to New Year's Eve in whatever time that they need to cover Ryan right so she's just out there like you are a Sitting Duck yeah and what was it with one of the networks didn't show the ball drop I don't know I heard because they let Paul Ana sing what in the hell was Paul Anor doing singing before midnight before midnight that's ridiculous that's well maybe it was on the station where Anderson Cooper was doing tequila shots they're funny Anderson and Andy they are fently he regretted it immediately after having he always he does it he does it every year and he regrets it and he says he's never gonna do it again and then he and Andy get on and I guess they're best buds yeah and and they just you know interesting thing on the CBS Morning News with Anderson talking about dealing with um grief in in his family and how he's finally going through all his mother's papers yeah and you know his father died when he was 10 and he's he's a Vanderbilt by the way just in case you're wondering what we're talking about and you were just in Newport right yes so that is like that whole tie in I was like the Anderson Cooper his mom was a Vanderbilt they had that beautiful uh I forget which one of the mansions with uh her Mar house Marble House of Vander that's where we were um yeah but he was saying how he's never really gone through his mother's papers or anything and um I forget who she was married to she was married to a couple of really interesting um interesting people and he's finally starting to do it now at his age he's late 50s early 60s I think I don't know yeah and he said how you know how difficult it was I can only imagine I mean that there's just a lot to digest there they colorful family history of just riches and craziness and I don't know like that's a whole novel I would definitely want to read that's some Great Gatsby stuff going on right there that I would be very interested in Reading see we know an author who could write could write a book we do we do actually I contacted Ted Murphy um fairly recently because I asked him I I'm said I'm finally ready to put stuff down in in Memoir fashion uhhuh you're going to be a book I I'm I was like I don't know if if I wanted a screenplay or a book but I definitely want some things in in the works I've got a few things going on so hey you know what Hank this is my year I've decided 2024 is my year coming in 2025 the story of Stephanie no no it's not me rated what it's gonna be rated there is no rating for thatting terrifying Lynn says I'm a January baby so maybe in February I just saw like a this or that dry January dry February where are we going uh Nate said his biggest goal this year is to grow my podcast and then transfer to a big school to grow my skills in sports broadcasting there you go buddy that's good I love that what big school Nate are you thinking about I'm curious Kelly thanks for joining us yes I was at dins Kayla good morning and uh who else is out there Stephanie Hi how are you thanks for joining us good to see all you guys glad you're up and moving first day back to work yeah for well that's what I said for just about everybody my question of the day I was just like throw some words of encouragement in here because just getting up and like being regular for a day has not been oh I know it I've been off for weeks my kids are definitely sluggish yeah are they going to school today yeah they're getting driven to school today they're happy I was gonna say I heard them upstairs and I'm thinking the bus left no dad said I'm gonna we're going to start the week off I'm going to get you a coffee I'm going to drive you to school I my husband's a good dad I got no he is he he really steps It Up Above and Beyond because he knows I won't do anything for them I'm like absolutely not that's a no that's a hard no for me he's the soft one they know that they can get it from dad because mom's not gonna give an inch well that's kind of like Mari and me mari's mari's the hard one I'm the softer one and and I was soft with with Megan and now with Mariana I'm just I'm just a you're mush that's it a mush I mean okay whatever you want honey okay well because because we I need to buy this Papa can I have your credit card sure honey here you go she's only 11 I said to them you know you've been upstairs now for 10 days you've had off from school it feels like even though it's been not that long but finally the two of them have excavated their bedrooms they teenage disgusting bedrooms and my son was like you know what I slept better last night my room's clean I'm like what really and when I came home last night from work he had had the whole downstairs cleaned w wow he did it wow I know and I was like that was the best gift you could have ever given me he's like you're so weird I'm like can I have a hug made my heart really happy just don't touch my back CU I a jingle I was like hug it and just scratch just scratch just scratch it really honestly it was the best thing that happened to me all week that's sweet I know he's a good kid he is a good kid and I love mean we love Lily and we love him too but he's got but he's driving me not so the basketball schedule they it's really bad because they've got four or five teams using the same court so every single day it's a new schedule and you know our work right schedule is crazy right so he could have practice anywhere from 2 in the afternoon to 900 p.m. at night that's crazy and it's different every every single day well sounds like it's hockey so it's obnoxious and I'm losing my mind Y and the amount we spent in Ubers for December for like when we couldn't be there mhm we're in the middle of something somewhere else right is obnoxious Mariana took her first Uber ride when we were in Newport M she was a little she didn't quite understand the concept yeah I mean somebody's gonna pick us up in their car really and we're gonna get in it yeah honey it's okay we we've done this we've done this before yeah un fortunately both coming and and and going we didn't have that far to go but it was just too cold and gross to to walk both good drivers oh good friendly guys yeah and and all that so she was oh you know this is this is okay but she was a little really you're not going to get the car po her and just drive no because it's because it's silly it's it's too short a drive for me to get the car and drive but we'll call somebody to have someone drive us hey you know what this is convenience it's 2024 now egg right this is what we do our kids don't even blink about it just call us an Uber I'm gonna walk 11 feet yeah we're we're at the if you're familiar with new we're at the Marriott and we're going to um we have dinner reservations at the moing which if the weather is reasonably decent is maybe a 10-minute walk and a really nice walk yeah but the weather wasn't all that great it was cold it was raining that's kind of a bummer and yeah it wasn't we need a new place to go next next Christmas break you know what I do love Newport though it's only an hour away my mom went to college out there I feel so comfortable when I'm there it's almost like Cape Cod but different right Rhode Island Cape Cod that makes any sense to anybody although we did drive to the beaches first be first Beach second Beach third Beach and and that was kind of fun Mari and I hadn't been there in decades and of course Mariana had never seen it yeah but those beaches are really cool yeah because at one of them I think it was second Beach they were surfing oh wow it's been so nice yeah yeah it was cold I mean it was cold and stuff but the waves were great yeah and the surface were just coming and coming and coming and and I don't think she'd ever seen anybody really surf surf so so that was kind of that was kind of fun get the Outer Cape a little bit more in your life right yeah we don't think you know it's one of those things we don't think to drive down there yeah and we should my brother-in-law has a house in well Fleet I mean why we don't oh you should definitely do that I he's one those 18 something around the houses so cool yeah I think I told you there's nine there's nine doors off the dining room so weird it's the coolest house ever nine doors off the you never know when you get up you got to remember what door um that's the bathroom right it's almost like a game walk in there that's uh somebody's bedroom and somebody's s you know so that's awesome right uh we've got uh speaking of game show we've been working on some new games here at lemon Ado and I'm really excited for it we're training two new hosts y um Nate is saying he's thinking Syracuse or the University of Pittsburgh very cool Syracuse there you go Hank decided for you get it done I vote for Syracuse New House School is unbelievable unbelievable and the the roster of people who graduated from uh from Syracuse and and and new house is is just incredible thanks babe good delivery he's like watching how he cannot be on the camera why because because then we have to pay him Union yeah yeah exactly Union wage if he comes on the camera that's awesome Mary thanks for joining us this morning rtb I so missed you this weekend and we just did not have a chance to connect he was in Province Town enjoying all kinds of activities hey the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was on weed we did not see you but apparently you were we were in there at least three times yep at least three times because we stopped and watched it and uh Rich was like check this time check this time but you didn't have the opportunity to watch it with like stop and it was just on regular TV yeah you can watch it on Disney plus and fast forward and Rewind it okay my husband's like you narcissist like I'm not I just want to see myself I was so close right right it was a magical moment in my 2023 to go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Stevie Nicks looked reasonably okay the sound that is on the show is not the sound that we had in person it's different oh much different mixed differently yes because it was alive so it did not sound all the sound was going out so in the in the arena it was just really weird it didn't sound that way oh okay cuz it sounded great yeah I'm glad that I watched it back because then I could actually really enjoy the performances instead of being there going oh my God I'm right next to insert any superstar that you've ever thought of in your entire life for music and that's who was in this room it was really incredible because it was what I what I saw Mar watch other parts of it because I was watching the football game Stevie Nicks excuse me Cheryl Crowe and U Peter Frampton playing guitar oh yeah yep that must have been cool he can still play Oh see rich said that that was the Disney plus version last night ABC and they only did two hours instead of the four hours that were on Disney plus okay so so then you and Steph weren't on as much we were cut for we were cut for ABC Rich they didn't know they didn't know it was a great show regardless um so the Madonna thing I'm supposed to go see Madonna next week really apparently uh rtb sent me this thing where madic canceled apparently she did not cancel oh Ticket Master said that she had cancelled or something there was some announcement accidentally that was leaked that Madonna was not going to be doing the eighth and nth show apparently she is going to be doing the eighth and nth show in Boston in Boston so I will I will see Tales from the Crypt Madonna next week come H high water unless something else happens wow hopefully I'll feel better and get to actually enjoy the show right wow I hope you do instead of sitting there with my back scratcher well just bring your back scratcher with you there you go ma'am you cannot take that in here I need it I need it I need like one of those selfie sticks with like little hands speaking about concerts being canceled or whatever does a um a local I guess local comedian Justin McKinny yeah uh out of New Hampshire and he's he's getting very very popular at least in in this area he does a lot of um shows New Hampshire Maine Vermont's really funny you can see him on YouTube and his his concerts he charges I think 33 and $44 and they've been selling out lovely and but the the um ticket you know the secondhand ticket Market has been ramping up the prices oh yeah that's and something 200 and something or people have been going online saying I've got two tickets I can't I can't use this a new SC I'll give them to you for for x and he has been if follow him he has been really aggressive about if you see that don't yeah you know and don't go to the secondhand ticket seller don't go to the folks trying to trying to sell it on my on my website just don't I charge 33 and 44 if you're spending 125 and he's he's almost like you know what 250 bucks to see me no I know but he's you really you guys should check him out he's really funny yeah um I I definitely suggest that that you not buy anything from and once again not from lemon Ado we are not selling anything on our Facebook page ever so if you ever see I've got two extra tickets to this or this that is a lie it is not from us it is from somebody else spoofing an account and that seems to be the biggest uh scam that's going on right now for ticket sales on social media where people saying that they've got secondary tickets don't buy it it happened with Gardens of glow this summer yes it did I mean this winter and also people with our Market people are trying to sell tickets to the market I'm like it's free it's open to the public that's a lie wow I didn't know that yeah yep I've had to shut down at least 15 or 20 people TR to sell tickets to the to the market to what the most random of events we have we've got tickets X Y and Z for whatever it is you watch as soon as I start promoting the Boys and Girls Club we've got chilfest coming up the minute those tickets go on sale they pretty much sell out so I'm warning you in advance they're going to be going on sale in the next two weeks they will be gone it will it seriously so don't buy them on Facebook or anybody saying that they're selling tickets because they're not I did not know that I'm stunned I'm sitting here stunned that people would stoop to that level it's any scam I guess I'm naive but yeah right you know I mean why God I know how Des I don't know how sleazy can you be how desperate can you be how rotten and oh good that's a great segue into it's political ad season everyone it already started I saw I'm naous already I don't know about you I saw them run this morning and I was like oh God is this what we're GNA be listening to for the next eight months yep and here's what you have to do when you see one of those commercials and they're say they're going to do this that or the other thing sit back and say to yourself okay how you going to do that and 99 times out of a hundred when you sit back and say how you GNA do that you're gonna conclude that they can't Lenor good morning the think the things that they're saying that can do it's it's like can we just start over I don't like any of our choices period and also I feel like that we have already made our decision we're already going to go with what we think it is I don't think there's anything that's going to sway us it's just going to Annoy Us for the next eight months yep and we're going to really dislike somebody or really like someone more the only thing that could happen is someone could get themselves convicted of something and then get sentenced to jail or something and and then oh my goodness I'm just not ready for this next eight months it's it's gonna be it's gonna it's gonna be ah I wish I could be from Atlantic and I haven't read it yet that says something about why this past decade has been uniquely stupid oh what because we're we're moving into a new generation right yes yes there's a new yesterday on on my 12 to two show I like it and and which kind of um what's up Adam ties ties in with that and one of them actually came from Pope Francis um he put it nicer than this but essentially the pope said get off the damn phone I find myself sucked at well lately I have just because I've been not working at home forced being sidelined to deal with myself and just sitting there scrolling scrolling scrolling Doom scrolling yeah responding to emails actually doing things setting up appointments focusing on what we're doing for 2024 a lot of other you know behind the scenes and I'm excited that it's a little bit of slower month in terms of events I've got a lot of private stuff this month but it's going to be enough time for me to imploy the new stuff that we've got coming up for 2024 which I'm excited for to get a little bit organized yeah um just because I feel like I have stuff everywhere and I feel like that's that's my goal this month is to kind of put all the stuff in its boxes right whether it's putting all my Christmas crap away where it belongs and it's organized or I still have Halloween stuff I'm unearthing from places I'm like got to put all the market stuff just like everything needs to find a home this month right we need to take the Christmas tree down I think starting today taking all most of the decorations down yeah my brother and his wife were down yesterday so we left the Christmas tree up do anybody else that leave it up all year long my friends just decorate it for each holiday and man I was at HomeGoods with Lil after uh I think it was Saturday went to grocery shopping and the place is already on fire with Valentine's Day I went to Walgreens and they were selling cadburry eggs stop I came home and I tossed one to Mariana and I said happy Easter and Mariana looked at me and said you're kidding right 11 and a half years old she knows it's nuts is it from last year though I'm just curious oh no they were fresh they were Wicked fresh I got one too I mean it's not like they had been sitting around for a year you know how they get chalky sometimes like last year these were these were creamy and the chocolate was fresh and everything disturbing absolutely ridiculous got to get ready for your 9:00 a.m. meeting someone scheduled a 9 amm meeting GH that's ridiculous 9:00 am meetings who meets at 9:00 am. exactly crying out loud oh Lauren you did it all yesterday good for you look at you on top of things I Lily uh do our traditional take the Christmas tree decorations off and hurl the Christmas tree into the pit in the front yard there's about 20 two Christmas trees in there the pit of Christmas tree but that's a good place for for little little creatures to make their homes absolutely wonderful you're being concerned about the environment and the little and the little creatures out there plenty please my cat's taking care of those little creatures oh really him and his murder mittens he's always bringing us home some little treasure on my deck disgusting he doesn't seem like that kind of cat oh he's a murderer oh yeah he loves the spring all the little bunnies that get thrown in my window well I'll walk by there and I'll see like little baby bunnies help me and then I see my cat like on top of him evil I didn't know that he seems like a sweet little guy oh yeah he's not he is not I'm so sorry yep he's a rotten murderer the amount of bunnies that I've put in buckets to get them out of here to bring them back to just have them be in there again he throws them down the well basically and waits for them to go oh no it's he's a murderer it's not great he just he just watches them yes yes he's evil oh you know he also watches the camper too so I don't have any rodents in there that thing is perfect right what's up Carrie how are you feeling I know you were down and out for a little bit thanks for joining us bring your tree over let's burn baby girl I got like 20 years of Christmas trees did I ever tell you the story with the Christmas trees no I don't think so so my husband for years and years near did cable he was the cable guy right and uh always having to go into people's basements and do cable stuff right and uh he's like you know Stephanie it's not that bad here and he's like I've seen people just open up their basement door and hurl their Christmas tree down there years and years worth of Christmas trees in these people's basement really so forever he life ones yeah just like throw it down the basement that's where it lives now and so he that's not safe no it's not safe at all but apparently it's been it it is done around where we live oh good Heavens so he's he told this story on multiple occasions to multiple people when we discussed it and he was in someone's house and they were like oh you know it's it's really bad down there and he's like oh then he launches into the Christmas tree story and then he's like you could feel these people their like anxiety was up a little bit they were acting a little weird and then he opened the door and of course they're the Christmas tree people oh no all their Christmas trees were downstairs in the basement just thrown in the basement why would you do that I don't know that sounds like a fire hazard to me that sounds like a huge fire hazard yeah right so apparently it's a thing that we do here in New England I don't know what it is but it's weird thr in the backyard right thr in the front yard right why the basement why the basement I don't get it wow I really don't get it I want something new this morning today is National Buffet day who the hell is hitting a buffet on the second of January you're an animal and I love you right what was it that used to be around here we used to have one of buffet and hyas but the golden oh my kids loved it we used to have a golden Correll Megan did no it wasn't the golden Correll it was the Old Country Buffet yeah that's because all of my kids got to eat what they wanted without complaints or having to share because you know we've got five we had five kids at the time right and it was always a complaint over somebody didn't like dinner it was a place where I could bring them and everybody liked dinner and nobody complained Mari refused to go yeah she's not a buffet even even in a casino Mari pretty much refuses to go to the buffet I Cliff is also the same he's a germaphobe yeah no she's just a snob oh and she admits it I'm not saying anything out of out of line here I'm not gonna get yelled at when I get home she's a snob y um but Megan and I used to go if Mari was somewhere come on we go down the buffet and it was just I mean it was easy for me for the same reason yeah she got to eat whatever she wanted right and she was happy and honestly it's the little things especially when you have a pile of small children I think back to like how did I even survive at that point it's just I just let it happen whatever do that does that make you happy great right go ahead you just give up at some point like I'm just gonna survive this right now but next next month it's on well with each child things get easier because you because you care less right I don't know if it's that you care less it's like you really you can only you know your limits and you can only control what you can control good morning Donna hey Nancy glad that because sandwich police kind of took a little yeah they did someone whoever whoever wrote the blog was was ill and we missed them greatly we love our crazy crime I wasn't disappointed at all when I opened it up and I was like here it is and one of the first stories was that somebody had called because they heard gunshots yes and the police had to remind them that they were driving by the gun the gun club let's see now what would you hear in front of the gun club there well uh gunshots there was another one where a guy called and said that the woman had who had been inhabiting his dumpster had stolen the dumpster yeah I don't understand that one at all she absconded was the word that that they use she absconded with the dumpster great vocabulary word thank you for sharing that with us why would you have sca with the dumpster you I I I mean God bless you whoever you are but wow gotta love thank you sandwich please for always keeping us entertained We Appreciate You Yes uh bull season is finally over so I don't have to deal with any more college football one more game to go one go national championship game next week okay but all the other game and some really good games yesterday particularly the the Michigan Alabama Alabama game was that was a good game that great great watch he really was a great watch I Didn't Know had' won but Michigan ended up winning that that game but it was back and forth for a bit yeah yeah it was a really really really good game not that I'm a huge college football fan but you know whatever it was on and it was seemed entertaining and everybody else is ENT I'm one of those that is like all right we're in the crowd what are we doing why are we happy let's get it done it was better than the Patriots game no that was New Year's Eve right yeah and there's one more of them folks and then and then we're done can it be over yet and then all the hoopla's gonna start although M Jones has been off Instagram and he popped up um over new years's yeah picture of him and his and his girlfriend and he hasn't been on in several weeks yeah and I saw the picture of him and his girlfriend on New Year and I thought oh God the comments are going to be awful and they weren't they were incredibly supportive of of Mac Jones hey Mack you deserve another chance you got screwed yeah you know you're a good guy you know you've don't worry about it you're gonna go someplace else you're G to have a great career but I I really thought you know how people can be on on social media that they were really gonna go after him but they but they didn't this just so lackluster we're like G we just kind of gave up you know what I mean it's just like deflated I feel like as a Patriots fan yep I was in um I forget where I was but I we had stopped and the Kansas City game was on by the way they look so cute for New Year's Eve Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey hanging out with the the football players there and I I think Britney um momes is more obsessed with Taylor Swift than she is her husband at this moment in time you should have seen her holding Taylor's arm just looking so happy like oh my God she's my best friend also uh Mahomes looks lit lit like a Christmas tree so whatever they were doing for New Year's they look like they were really enjoying themselves well they're all young we got to remember they're all they're kids they're in their 20s or early 30s good for you guys what what they would what they would do they're 30 you know but everybody says that that Kelsey is a good match with Taylor Swift I think they're cute because he doesn't need her money he doesn't need her Fame he he can't get jealous because you know she goes out and and crowds of tens of thousands of people cheer his cheer her because they do that to him was it the head coach of um Kansas City that said she's a distraction now oh I don't know it made me mad it was one of those Andy Reed Andy I think Andy Reid said something like it's playoffs now like we need to get serious and she's a distraction and I thought that was kind of rude a rude B yeah yeah rude it's not that she's the distraction the media attention to her is the distraction she's just sitting there being supportive and that's annoying that it just it bothers me as a female to be called a distraction I mean she is Taylor Swift I mean Travis Kelce is not the only football player with a celebrity wife and her girlfriend no I mean jelle they go hand in hand Jazelle was at every Patriots game yeah and you never they were never shown pictures ofel Haley Steinfeld who happens to be dating one of the Buffalo guy the who's the the one that beat us this past weekend but I didn't watch any of it I don't know who she's dating the quarterback oh oh um um alen yeah so she she showed up at the thing she didn't make the Fanfare I mean it's Haley Steinfeld but even still right oh yeah I loved her in Dickinson and Pitch Perfect she was real good but she's a celeb yeah she's and they could they could show yeah another singer dating a footballer right that's what happens they're all celebrities and when John bonjovi sits with Mr craft they show him like once poor po poor Bon Joy he really wanted to be noticed Taylor took the upswing on that one oh yeah oh yeah he's got his own famous situation going on right now his son is marrying an a an an amazing actress oh really and they're way too young to be getting married personally but how young is you they're like 22 23 that's young that's young I mean I did it but times times are different yeah you did it and then you had to do it again yeah right times are different right see when I did it again I was 23 please oh you did it the first time you were younger younger Lord I was a child I was a baby a child bride exactly of the women swooned you want to see women motivate and move up to the front row they made like a little thing around them all of a sudden he's saying another one now he's got a fan club and they're how old I want to say mid 80s kind of like the golden Bachelor thing even older way older whoa way older whoa the woman that he chose to leave the party with oh no because my husband was watching this like this was anticipatory like which one is going to win this guy cuz kind of seems like this guy is like he all of a sudden gains status immediately and then all of all of them wanted him they were all dancing around him dancing near him and then Cliff's like I think so and so went with so and so they're gone now they left the party and it was fast I mean f like gone and how quickly did they come back they didn't whoa right Gee right I'm impressed like we all know what goes on in this 55 plus communities we know what happens in The Villages there's no secrets however to be intimately watching it go down in front of me just made me laugh and it was like not even at all hidden it was very apparent she she made her move she did yeah speaking of made her move what's up what's Mari
