saraphina and I were in a entrepreneurial book club where Stephanie never read the right book and Stephanie was terrible at this book club I really sto at Club I did not fabulous I'm what I just had a visual a proud of it hello good morning hello boys and girls hey it's 7:30 and we're here I know look at us I know well is that because you didn't go to bed till 2 o'clock this morning or something crying out loud yeah it was just a a wild Mr Toad's Wild Ride I was on last night riding in from uh Charleston where our plane was delayed fixed delayed delayed delayed I got emails all day long I'm like I don't know when we're going to leave if we're going to leave if it's happening tonight may I ask career line uh Bri ah Jet Jet Blue strikes again yeah right so that was the first time we flew Breeze I was happy with the airline itself just uh not with the fact that both of our flights were delayed yet going there and coming home but the plane in the cabin crew and all that yeah that was amazing I'd definitely do that again for $39 yeah oh yeah that's unbelievable okay I didn't sign up for all the bells and whistles mhm I didn't need it we were good right uh we went down for my uncle's birthday he we totally surprised him he had no idea where we were coming we didn't know at at that point we were going either so uh and how old was your uncle he 60 just a child yeah right a mere child just a little guy just a young kid so uh yeah we did uh Downtown Charleston which I haven't done in a really long time that is a real pretty city I was there once for a conference and it's it's just lovely it was a lot it was a lot oh that kind of a lot oh yeah ah oh yeah like I was 20 years old ah um you're not no no we're definitely not and you haven't been for a while I hate but they're older obviously and they're in well they're in they're in better shape they are definitely not they were having a rough time of it that day I'll tell you what oh really well they had been at it since Thursday I was like we just arrived on Saturday they're like oh God no I can't do oneboard day and then they did and then they did Troopers I know and then I got to spend my son with uh with a my one of my oldest friends so that was super fun we visited her restaurant and uh we did the taste of Charleston I'll tell you what there was not one restaurant we missed oh really there are so many great places to eat there you know there is there is it's a great City I'm I'm in detox this week I like smoothies smoothies for me for crying out loud this is this is what I need in my life I was like can me order a vegetable I need a vegetable right I mean Charleston Charleston is one of those places that attract people down south you know you can sit back and say to yourself oh God I could never live down south oh but Charleston Oh but Atlanta yeah exactly there are a bunch of places like that Asheville and and um all those all those kinds of places there's just so many people there cliff and I were wearing beach comr sweatshirts and we were sitting on you know people watching near this place El Hefe which is a um it was National Margarita day yes and they have a mechanical Bowl in this restaurant yeah so we were just people watching Outside Inside great time no Margaritas no well obviously a margarita it was terrible it was it I didn't even finish it I was very disappointed well maybe that's the reason not to go they can't Margaritas but some girl came running up to me and she was like I are you guys from the cape we're like yeah I'm from sandwich no and I started laughing I was like oh um you know I'm I'm Stephanie and uh we we started talking I know her mom was like of course I know your mom I'll tell her CU at College of Charleston there's so many wonderful people that go there good morning Miss Ashley thanks for uh joining us on the show this morning the College of Charleston is a unbelievable school so many great people but there are just so many people in general I don't know it was the tail end of our spring break yes so I know I saw a lot of New England out there you can always spot a New Englander people wearing dun King sweatshirts red sock oh yeah some guy came walking over to us cuz my uncle had a bruin shirt on and he's like oh we were so close the other night so close yep talking hockey good morning Miss Emily thanks for joining us hey we're back I'm back in the cold it was uh super nice how warm was it by the way uh got up to almost 70 oh that's nice well they had had a cold snap yes the whole South has had some really whacko well yeah my dad went to Florida and he's like arrived in Florida it's not hot no and it did it snow it has snowed there but no he's in new Spa I don't think they're uh okay ready for snow at this point but but Dad but Dad finally got to Florida though finally got to Florida okay I was worried about him I know he'll be home just just before Easter so this is gonna be a very short respit for his winter and then he'll come back and go again or no no that'll be that for a while really well yeah I mean his his wife's still working and she's in Florida no oh she's here she's in Connecticut okay she's in Connecticut okay I got you where they live normally okay yeah that dad just likes to run away for the winner because he's retired and she's not right I right Hank what are you doing what are you doing wrong here you're retired she's not let your sh Mama work for you and then you need to be down in Florida with the beautiful people right that's right that's right so we are here the last Tuesday in February un Bring It On unbelievable bring it on I'm ready I'm ready for March March is coming in for like a lion for me I've got a million and five things going on oh I know it I know it you know when you said March I'm think I thought oh March Madness and then I realized I've hardly even watched a college basketball game this year yeah still doesn't stop you from betting though those little pool no no I mean I'll still do a do a bracket and everything but I'm by now I would be I'd be watching college basketball all the time and I don't I don't know what's happened to me I think we're we're all a little suffering from whatever is on that television right now I think many of us are moving away from it yeah just don't just don't want to turn it on right not interested I get a good book or I'm writing a book right now so listen to this one lofty goals over here I love it yep yep I'm writing a book of short stories and um I'm I'm was your inspo Ted's class well yes yes I love it I I I learned how to do it in my first class with uh Ted Murphy AKA Dean rush and he has another group there's three of us we're going to start meeting next Tuesday three of us are all writing books and he's going to he's going to work with us that is amazing to help us get our get our books in in shape and so fun yeah well people are taking matters into their own hands now whether they have a publisher or not I see a lot of people um our friend Andra who has the mobile dessert cart at the mash P Farmers Market has written um uh ebook of how to do that process how to go and get permitting how to how to do all the things to do that for yourself right I think it's great oh yeah oh yeah but I'm I'm I'm looking I'm I want something published published okay you know because I could I mean I could do an ebook thing I mean I've had a Blog for years and and and all of that so I've I've always written stuff but no I'm looking for because I have I have several friends who I've worked with over the years who um are very accomplished authors in their in their fields and I've always said to them when I grow up I want to be like one of you guys um so I think I'm going to get there I love it Ashley says I have lofty goals of getting up early every day just to catch your show thank you Ashley very much we appreciate it you're amazing we have lofty goals to get up early as well yeah right she says we don't need March Madness Frank we don't need any M more madness I think we're good Frank Frank Frank no my's not Frank Hank most breakfast food for drink or eat for breakfast that is our question of the day is there something that you ingest regularly I like leftovers I'm not a huge breakfast human I will have cold leftovers for breakfast that makes my day as will my wife yeah I love it I don't know what it is Chinese food also good pizza I've seen Celsius um Cheerios and beer thank you very much Dave hegner for wagering in with that one I do you put the beer on the Cheerios it's disgusting oh you eat the Cheerios and drink the wow I know it's a frat party over there I don't know what's happening wow I do know that we're getting more eggs did you see this no I did not turkey to the rescue the country of Turkey is sending over 15,000 tons of relief eggs oh my goodness I don't know how this deal was brokered well I know I know because turkey has another one of our favorite dictators in charge of the country oh wonderful thank you for the eggs we we'll take them oh well Denny's is another one that's search charging eggs I think most most places are having to sear Char EGS but the trick expensive but the trick is going to be this when the crisis is over is the 50 Cent charge gonna go away probably not no you know how that works well think of everything that happened with Co oh we got to add this and that and that was all legit because they needed to but then it didn't go away New World Order hello Lisa Ro thanks for joining us on the show good morning Robert happy Tuesday to you and our gas bills are going down allegedly are they what what the the governor and the Attorney General U kindly asked the the um utilities to do is to essentially this this delivery charge thing which is a story in and of itself it's the delivery charge that has really really run up so what they I paid a mortgage payment to utility companies last month oh I know it was I mean even it was more than my mortgage even even where we live the the utilities are a little high no but here's what's going to happen the um gas bill will will drop somewhat 30 maybe 40 bucks but what they're doing is they're taking that delivery charge um that they're cutting this month and next month and they're slipping it off into July and August when the bills aren't that high okay so if that's the plan I'll wait to see it but I'll tell you what I probably won't feel it cuz I'll have the a see running of course yeah it really doesn't work for for electricity it works for gas if you if you have gas and you use it for heat then you're cranking now but within a couple of months it's not even going to be on right and your gas I mean our gas bill is minuscule in swap yeah exactly one gets higher one gets lower but it's always just expensive I'll tell you that right now I'm sick of it well that's why we live in New England well we're going to be looking up to the skies looking for that Celestial lineup that's happening on the 20 8 right yeah Thursday yeah yeah should be kind of cool I there were three all seven planets will be on the side of the Sun so we'll have the opportunity to see all of them in a line which won't happen again until 2040 there's only three and I wish I could remember because I heard it this morning on the news there were only three that we'll be able to see clearly with the naked eye oh all right the rest you need to come you need to be have an un naked eye I guess or or what what are the a telescope a telescope yes I like Tuesday back in the home studio I am thrilled to be back I was so happy to sleep in my own bed last night not not not good hotel no I mean we we were just the can kicked around the road I slept in my girlfriend's bed last night the night before that and what did you do with your husband and then did he sleep with your girlfriend as well no no no no she she was in the gas bedroom she gave us the good bed oh okay CLE I almost thought you had a but I guess not no we were on the couch the night before that okay and now we got in trouble for what we were almost thrown out of our hotel what did you do apparently we were being too loud not you what were you doing singing karaoke holding laundry all of us no it was my girlfriend Meredith her boyfriend who um is just he's a very quiet human being I actually saw him come alive at night it was it was exciting my aunt my uncle and we were just all laughing telling stories yapping sitting in the living room having a whooping it up y the people across the hall from us were having some sort of convention there was like 80 people in one room I'm like I walked in there I was like does anybody have a phone charger my aunt's not answering the door they're like come on in then of course my uncle walks in and he's now part of this Rando house party that's next door to us us right we're staying in a hotel it was just like two bedroom townhouse style rooms yeah I've never seen so many human beings in a room and I had no idea what they were celebrating there was like not cake or food or anywhere I didn't know what was going on in there did you see cameras no okay it's just weird okay all right then it was legit somehow I don't know know what those people were doing okay I saw that uh Starbucks is having their layoffs 1100 people M they're uh not doing so well economically you don't hear a lot about Starbucks these days I mean dunks is just killing them around here I don't know what's going on with Duncan because I have heard from my uh company girl that there are no j1's coming this year for this season of Duncan in our area so maybe that's their cutback this year is just not hiring seasonal workers and maybe it has something to do with the tenor of the time yeah possibly possibly but they just don't want to bring the j1's over here what you don't want to come here why not why we're so welcoming to people who are different than us listen leave my red Sharpie alone we had to make some adjustments this morning yes this is this is high-tech we have a new microphone set up here except it doesn't quite no the other microphone had a buzz and it was driving me crazy so I had to use the third microphone and it's just not equipped to face that direction thank you Robert we're making it work it's paper clips and tape in a red Sharpie okay this is what this this is why radio isn't TV right well I enjoy it I but I mean if you could only see and you can but welcome in other places if you could only see right so uh lots of people stepping down in the news Department did you see Lester Holt yes that's got to be a grind though he did that for what 10 years I would hate that job oh and then the CBS Evening News is more of a poop show than it was before their new format is insanity well because of social influencers it is this Tik Tock phenomenon it is the we could just do it ourselves on our own space why are we going to have right the big whatever it is regurgitate the daily happenings yeah except except then you don't know where it's coming from I don't know we don't know where it's coming from now there's this there's this trust it there's this news site this quote news site that has all of a sudden popped up um I'm seeing it all over the place I think it's called NTD um and yes NTD it stands for new Tang Dynasty all right wonder what com what what country they're associated with and and they've all of a sudden popped up and they're the ones um you know reporting the you know Elon and his boys found $10 million or 10 billion dollar or 10 trillion put it in my bank account please never seen them before and when I looked them up and I saw new Tang Dynasty named after the Tang Dynasty going to eat them all in the middle of the night so the next morning when when our grocery delivery arrived he decided that he was going to take all of her Nella that she was going to bring back to college and hide it somewhere and then eat it aren't children wonderful and how old are they I was like are you are 18 years old a why you eating all the cupcakes B you are 16 years old Nutella cupcake fights oh and then calling us my husband was Fielding the switchboard between the two of them yeah texting back and forth back and forth back back and forth you know I was not getting a phone call back why because I wouldn't respond to it and they know it and he's he's trying to keep the pieace in this tennis match of the food war that was happening here under this roof that's what dads do oh my God I'm like really why you responding to why are you getting involved in that it's it's it's dumb they'll figure it out somehow yep exactly so uh Roberta Flack died huh I have to say I thought she had already passed I'm I'm sorry with all due respect to a brto flack but I was I was shocked that she died because I thought she already had so I was looking over some of the stuff that um today this day in 1995 uh who was it um Frank Sinatra performed his last show live really wow he was in Palm Desert he was 80 years old and that was the last time played live and not singing very well at the end probably no as I as I recall people saying there was another date that I was looking at and Sally jffe Raphael is 90 years old today 90 she is wow right red red red glasses red glasses the only thing you remember from are the glasses that's right don't remember any of the shows just the glasses or what her show is about do you remember what her show was about absolutely not I don't it was some kind of she talk about was it current events it was some kind of that in that whole string of Phil donah Hugh Sally Jesse Rafael Oprah blah personal interest stories I have no idea does sandwich police a resident called to report a suspicious vehicle with red lights going in and out of a driveway the reporting reporting party stated it sounded like a construction crew the responding officer made contact the vehicle was a plow truck the operator was plowing the driveway because it had snowed folks I mean come on I hear loud noises gotta call the police oh oh oh oh he hearing loud noises wait a minute wait a minute wait a minute there's one of those two you keep you keep looking and I'll here's the here here is it Sinatra's final song The Best Is Yet To Come a caller reported an unknown number of people engaging in unknown suspicious activity were trying to break into an unknown location somewhere in the motel where they were staying there's a lot of unknown there the responding officer requested an evaluation by EMS the caller was taken to the hospital okay I'm lost in my hotel yeah yes yes they left wearing their tin hat one too many Edibles what's up Sam thanks for joining us this morning hey Cindy and here's the other thing that is apparently going around here the um solar panel sales people out and about yeah and both in sandwich and in Mash P where we are well with the cost of all of everything that's going on everybody's exploring it I had the solar guy at my house last week right they are they are knocking on doors they they're driving some kind of white vehicle and some people are getting all upset other people are are letting them in the people who let them in according to what we're seeing on social are are saying that they're you know nice nice young guys legit actually legit in Mash P they don't have the the permit to go door too so maybe that's kind of iffy um but you're right given the cost of everything this is a great opportunity to swoop in and say you know you really don't have any trees here and and and you know your roof kind of faces the Sun for a long time how about solar panels yeah that ain't happening over here we explored it I got a lot of tree work to do it's on property that's not mine well yeah there you go some pain although I mean I can't petition for it it's just how long is this going to take forever yeah uh Phil Donahue listened to Sally Jesse rafhael radio show how she related well to callers and then he encouraged her to do a TV show so her show is a similar format as Donahue I love you rtb thank you thank you RTV I knew you'd know he's think one thing I would absolutely know and it is that I hear the uh Eagles are skipping the White House visit no they're not skipping the that's not the worst time of year for baseball there's hope for us I know I watched them play northeas on Friday that was kind of a waste of my life and yesterday they got rained out or or was was delayed I know Saturday we had an open house and Mari printed 50 listing sheets we had 48 we had two left really so on Sunday I said to Mariana you're coming with us honey cuz I did nothing but open and close the door 48 times over two hours get to work you can help Papa a little and she helped me a little that's it um and we had I think oh God I don't know 40 more and she had like three left we had seven offers yeah well I mean that's a price point in which people can stab at crack at yep and it went over obviously it went for um over over price it was a nice house and um yeah we've been that was so real estate's still been solid through all of everything right yeah if if if you have a home that's going to fit in that 450 550 price range um that's in pretty decent shape you really want to talk to your favorite realtor um because you're you're in a really good position right now really are I don't know where you're going to go after that but well take good luck to you take one thing at a time that's all yeah you know I mean the money if the money that you can make from selling your home is more than it could be more than enough to get you into the next one and how do people get a hold of need the long for him from the town hall it's like what this matches this matches this so annoying this is I mean it was the original in the cute little booklet and everything that that the that the pastor signed no sorry they need a raise Town seal huh that could be a forge what yeah you know me I'm forg in my way however we went to Triple A in Dennis uhhuh they were very nice yeah that's nice it's so much easier go to Triple A I'm telling you if you've not done this yet and you have to go through the process and you make an appointment and and they're relatively on time and I guess because I had already had my license renewed so this was just an an add-on didn't didn't give me an eye test I thought that was so peculiar speaking of which did you see the guy that plowed through the bait shop in Bourne 100 years old yeah somebody should have taken the keys away from he should have had an eye test yeah at what a you know what I mean it's always that question of like how with it are you some people are just sharp as attack and can see perfectly it's really not a one-size fits-all but when do you start requesting testing more often than not you know what I mean but but Grandpa ain't getting the keys back no no no not in that case he's lucky to be alive oh no kidding skin is very thin at 100 I know I mean I mean make it to 100 we should be so lucky and to be able to drive and not be in a wheelchair drooling somewhere not knowing what our name is exactly good for you buddy you know that's that's still little bait shop in the way that was all and and the and and the poor Pope is still he's still sick we got the text message from the church say our prayers and rosaries for our poor Pope right well what's interesting is Father Healey who's the pastor at Christ the King which is our church down the street here he and a bunch of other people from the um uh from the church out in Rome this week and they were going to a pable audience yeah so they were gonna go to mass in St Peters with the Pope and the whole thing and I was in I was in Rome when I forget which pope passed um and it we we were there we we got to do the whole conclave thing it was kind of very interesting it was yeah it was yep it was one of the last viewings of the Pope and I called it Pope on a stick because basically they like put him in this like little rafter thing and they just kind of like put him out to people I was like why the poor pop doesn't want to be here he just poor man's dying but they were just like putting him on this like little hoisted lift and P pushed him out pushing him out into the crowd so I was there for it because I was like this is history kind of cool must have on a stick yeah poor thing he should have he should have resigned if mind Benedict resign 100% he should have resigned he was so sick um but he was one tough old son of a gun that's a historic moment and he wouldn't he wouldn't do it I won't forget that one did you go downstairs into the into the um into the vault in St Peters and yes check out all the dead popes absolutely very creepy very creepy I mean once again Vatican City if you're ever in a one of our trivia it does pop up every once in a while and by the way the smallest country and by the way for people who were commenting when the pope was talking about immigrants immigrants and everything else well what you should take your walls down and blah there are no walls you can you can get off the subway walk down the street take a right and you're standing in St Peter Square going oh my God yeah it really does exist yeah no matter what faith you may or may not have to see that building it's like holy wow it is all inspiring for sure in the cinee chapel just sitting there like this y i I walked all the way to the top million and five people just I was much much younger than then I walked all the way to the top of St Peters amazing I did not and and you know where the statue you can see the statues yes that's where I was you can go behind there that's pretty incredible and you know what they have they sell postcards and they have a post office oh right I know I I mailed my family letters my my little postcards I was like okay right yeah why the heck not get a pope stamp and when in Rome literally I wanted a pope stamp Cindy much younger um so yeah Karen Reed I'm not following what's going on with the Karen Reed situation there was a apparently there was a a federal investigation going on as well and the FEDS not surprisingly they seem to be dropping cases all over the place um the feds decided that they weren't going to pursue charges right whatever charges they were going to pursue it's just gotten a little wild at this point but the state level case is still going such nonsense forward it's it's ridiculous what's up Dan how are you from Middle America I hope it's warmer than it is here what I don't understand is where is she getting all the money from she has so many supporters yeah but I mean it's like you have no idea crazy crime Watchers Ashley is like full on another person that is just like so involved in this but the amount of support she has from most people it's pretty incredible yeah they're fine to fund it wow I know speaking of funding we hear at lemonade uh would would love your support we've got a bunch of initiatives going on and while of our grant funding is frozen I would love your support yeah becoming a nonprofit this year was a sweet idea what just unbelievable it's like well we are not doing very many things nonprofit radio station in Massachusetts oh that's GNA get funded have to look for this one this one apparently didn't um show up on new Tang Dynasty news I was horrified I was like what what who lets Alec Baldwin out in public anymore at this point he just also it just wasn't funny no he said what's the word Mercurial personality sure kind of like yeah right yeah there's medication for that you need an edic yeah hi Lynn thank you for joining us it was 60 husband that he immediately got on Amazon and ordered himself a tracksuit he said I'm going to grow my mustache out like that and wear this tracksuit so when you know what's funny I saw pictures of him with a mustache yeah while you were away yeah I'm thinking what did he do right grow hair for vacation I don't know so he's working on his mustache and the tracksuit is upstairs on the counter because that was on the counter when we arrived last night at 2 o'clock in the morning then he needs the jewelry he did he ordered that also gold chain and a hat oh my goodness oh Cliff you're the man is he I I I can't wa will not be SE with I was like I will not be seen with you I can't wait to see he's like what we always throw theme parties we could find a theme party to round that outfit all right so you'll be seeing it at Dino as one of these Friday nights uh just brace yourself yes and Stephanie won't be there no you're looking to see Stephan ctis you were working not gonna be there oh that's too funny yeah I saw the mustache what's doing yeah we don't know I I don't know what that is all about whatever well that's the variety is the spice of life I guess so this is here you play together you stay together find a sport a hobby that you love know watching TV does not count prioritize your relationship camping biking building model trains whatever it is that you find enjoyable together yeah well we play golf we work out with Bri there you go we're good with that see so you're switching it up you know how to fight right I just say okay to have productive agreements keep these rules in mind don't call your spouse names when things get tough take a break let the other person finish their sentences and don't initiate a discussion when you're angry I think all of those are good rules of the road and then if you're the husband just say okay right can you tell my husband that please because I allowed the tracksuit I just sat there just shaking my head gonna fight you on that one just buy dumb things on Amazon s our Amazon you'd be like what is happening over there I wonder what they think of us yeah you scratched their back they scratch yours no one likes demands but everyone can appreciate a compromise if you want your lover to do something and you're not sure that they will be agreeable the quickest way to avoid a confrontation is to sweeten the deal all time but it probably doesn't mean that they don't care about you if you keep your perspective fixed on the goal to be happy and functioning partner then when things get tangled up in minor annoyances about the time you told them that we're doing this this weekend and then he makes 14 other plans or plans another vacation when you've planned a vacation because he did not actually look at the calendar you let it go I I guess we can go out with with or I can take out and Mari can take out and we can take out clients for weeks in a row and all of a sudden she'll tell me would you take some someone over here and I'll go who I have no it just I feel like that's a husband thing yeah oh you know them no I don't of course you have we G out with them oh them that Kathy and Bob right it's really bad Cliff is also the same way yeah oh I'm awful may just there's not a connection a social connection yeah because Mari and I are the Social Butterflies that can remember right what your kid was wearing on that Tuesday that we all went out together and whatever you guys don't remember those things you don't remember going out on Tuesday no no not at all never mind what anyone was wearing to be vastly more of them very scammy yeah or you know not a site that you somehow tumbled on to once and now it's popping up and it's and and it's following you like I said earlier all these crazy news Services well you just have to treat it like weeding the garden right spring is going to be around the corner and we're going to be out there and all the nuisance annoyance weeds that are going to be popping up you just pluck them and move on it's nothing you can do about it it's going to grow every single year and that's how I treat my soci media get in the garden it's time to weed whack right and and the accounts you don't want to see give yourself a half an hour and just go through and those you know those three dots up with the up with the on on the right hand side yeah if you click on those you can you can block the account or or restrict it restrict I need a break of you for a little while just just just do it and you probably get more but at least they'll be different feel so much better I'm telling you you will y Lynn what have you been cooking up in the kitchen she's always making something delicious that I'm like eat and she was very generous she was I I thanked her last Thursday so much she donated a $50 gift card to dos and uh we gave it to one of our young couples that played along in our uh Love and Marriage game that we had done it was three different couples one was they had been together for two years 11 years and 33 years and our two-year-old couple ended up winning the day that's great yep so they were the recipient of the gift card so thank you very much for that donation Lynn I really appreciate it uh Cap Cod dining at home and anywhere else always has some yummy fun recipes if you're looking to just not be so bored when you cook right there's always different stuff it's amazing what people are right uh what people are cooking and Mari should have a contest coming up again soon she tries to do it like like once a month Yeah a different kind of a a different kind of a challenge chefing it up in the kitchen I checked off pretty much all of my Southern boxes I had crab legs I had fried green tomatoes I had shrimping grits um oh my God absolutely delicious I can't do grits I I've tried I can't do grits I haven't done real grits you've done what our version of the grit is which is not really what shrimping grits actually is you could be right about that oh 100% because I was just like oh my God why can't no one make anything like this at home okay it's just not where we win okay it's not something we do well all right well I'll have to next time I next time I go when yes exactly give it a whirl yep we'll be in Florida in June I feel like Florida's not really South I think Florida's just warmer North it'll be warmer we bought our house down here 30 one years ago um one of the things that the agent said to us you know you can you can outside activities all all all winter long you can play golf you can do this you can do that because it never really snows here in the past few Winters that happened yes this one no no it's not no our friends at at at Holly Ridge um tomorrow is going to be a really warm day and they must have been getting phone calls from people trying to set tea times because they put out a post yesterday that said um the course isn't quite in shape yet yeah no it's G to be quite sometime yeah but check with check with Holly Ridge but that was that was the word the other day I saw that apple is dumping $500 billion dollars into development of all kinds of stuff AI Academy they're building in Detroit I hate AI we're it is something going to have to embrace it is going to make our life easier when we use it particularly what we're seeing right now is people playing with it and it's a disaster I hate the way AI writes I my my husband had an issue with his code and he was writing this program and couldn't figure out why it just was not deploying the way that he had written it so when you specifically ask the right questions and put it in properly and aim it right a I found found the one word that was in the code that was wrong wow and so he was like oh my God you know I finally told it what to do exactly what I needed and drilled down that way and so it found the problem where I wasn't processing so in events like that yeah it's G to be definitely helpful but you have to aim it right you have to teach yourself right so that's what apple is pushing into that market of development uh one in five Americans think should be completely banned in schools I kind of agree they're so distracting for our kids MH except those times when um your child needs you like Mariana was sick um the Thursday before vacation she was dizzy she fell asleep in class she went to the nurse the nurse gave her cough drops yeah and she had her phone in her bag yeah and she she she was like I need help yeah she she she snuck somewhere and she texted her mother and said yeah yeah somebody's gonna come and get me H I know it's difficult but I definitely think that there is such a a distracting factor I don't think it's oh yeah I feel like they should check them in right well what we've seen is sometimes on crazy crime a child will call mommy and mommy calls the police and the police show up at the school because there ridiculous there's been some kind of a fight and the school staff goes what I know that's ridiculous who I know you know and it's it's one child pushed another child and that was the end of it but one of the one of the children called Mommy and off you go well back in the day Hank we just sat on the side of the road waiting for our parents to pick us up for 10 12 hours it was fine then we it didn't matter that pay phone call hi it's me come pick me up yeah yeah we'll get there oh yeah they're gonna be fine I feel like just a little break of that connectivity is probably a good thing for them yeah even for a few hours oh yeah so I think most people are agreeing that phones need to be restricted in schools at this point yeah or or at least make there be a time um when you can say to the when you can say to the students okay if you got to if you got to check in with your folks or whatever yeah here you go you got 10 minutes guys yeah like at lunch or something like that this is what's going on lunch time 10 minutes or or particularly in high school they've all got study hall you know a period That's that that study first 10 minutes of study if you need to make sure your mother's going to pick you up or your grandfather's going to must be it must be used absolutely we've got a full lineup of events this week trivia Tournament of Champions continues on tonight over at Shipwrecked it starts at 7 o'clock double the points tonight so you can really catch up with whatever teams that you've got going on we've got a brand new trivia that is happening on Thursday over at Captain Parker Robin is going to be back out so if you're he's got a job he got a bank account over the weekend he's got a debit card little boys growing up right before our our very eyes well where's his job I know with uh with Dad oh pulling wires doing all the heavy work lugging things around very good I know he's taking some certifications right now that's great I know I'm just like what he this this child of mine is driven he's a little entrepreneur yep he likes money he's like Mr Krabs there you go from SpongeBob where there's money I will do the work I'll figure it out that's good and and and working with dad's a cool thing because Dad does Cliff does cool stuff he has a cool job I wish I was smart enough to know how to do what Cliff does but it's all it stuff and it's exhausting and it's ever you're constantly in school you're constantly learning new things and now with all this new tech it's it's a whole new world for them yeah um and it's cool that Cody's involved in it and he likes it yeah that's good yeah so yeah he will 100% have his license before his sister and I will have good laughs you know you might avoid College tuition we're working on that that would be lovely because you don't need a degree to do some of the things that he want he wants to go to school for business so he's going to work while he's doing that I was like perfect please do all of those things you can go to for SE to take business he going to be 100% of Finance bro I just know it already really painful oh boy here's my little Finn bro okay folks one more thing from the seage police blogs this is a warning to all of you as if you need to be warned a man came into the station to report $15,000 in fraudulent charges on his credit card the purchases occurred after he received a quotes fraud alert via text from his quote Bank he followed text instructions then received a follow-up phone call the caller sent the customer code which they were asked to provide as proof he was the card owner the reporting party complied and the next day the charges appeared the incident is still under investigation don't don't don't how many how many times people really really it's not real I know but when you get text messages and this is how we get you know two- party verification if you can do the authentification make sure you do it honestly I know it's annoying I know it's an extra step I know you got to go to your phone to your laptop to whatever but it is going to save you all of it in the long run oh we just started the the extra um authentication for for email and today real estate and it's a pain in the butt y but the um amount of spam and everything else has gone like this yes yep so because we were getting I mean everybody has been getting just slam I right so take the time and just put on two-party authentification I was just doing a podcast edit for one of our financial companies and that's literally what one of this like national fraud guy was basically if there's anything that you could do for yourself that's just cheap and just the easiest way for protection it's that right yeah annoying as it is it is the way in which we live now yep I sign it to the email and it says here here the um um is the block and gonna send you code and I get the code and I put the code in and then I'm in and yes Dave and I don't have to worry about unfortunately he says you mean that $59 million from Africa I was promised is fake I apologize to you sir oh sorry man do you know how many of those I get in the Farmers Market email really I don't know why maybe it's on whatever like it's a new email address so like we'll start the scams over from the very beginning like from the beginning of the internet times like because it's a rather relatively new email address yes I would like everyone's support we are going before the select board in the town of Bourne to bring our new Canal region Farmers Market it is slated for um the second week of March I will let you know as we get closer to that date uh but if you're in the area and you want this we are working on bringing some fun fresh food and other products to the board area so and where are you proposing to Hope have it it's going to be at buz Bay Park okay it's going to be during the can I watch out the canal concert series we're going to be teaming up with the uh Canal region Chamber okay and so it'll be already part of that event so well if the chamber's involved it's hard for a select board to say no to we hoping that that is the that is not always the way that's really hard to say no you yeah you have to have a good reason to say checking all my boxes I did my tip certification I'm ready to now make sure I actually learned something on this one and I've taken this certification before four years ago and I feel like I learned something
