saraphina and I were in a entrepreneurial book club where Stephanie never read the right book and Stephanie was terrible at this book club I really Su at Club I did not fabulous I'm what I just had a visual proud of it well hello and good morning on a Friday hey Marty how you doing oh good morning all this energy you have yeah it's great all positive today right yay all parents of school vacation's over next week yay oh I C it has been a school vacation of all School vacations the house full of humans that I've had my daughter's home from college um it's just a lot of people to feed and I'm not used to the just sheer chaos of the trash and Dish situation because of the amount of humans here it's a lot so it's Thanksgiving every day yes kind of speak perfect way to understand it thank you so we've got Marty Burell here from the greater henus chamber and we're so thankful to have you I know it's a never a dull moment um in the chamber world now that I'm in it I totally understand from a different perspective that should be in the job description it's never a dull moment no never even when it's like the slow quiet season we're always planning right it's always the the next and the next and the next and the thing and businesses never shut down businesses always need things and we're trying to be the best I don't even know stewards of all the other businesses together and the way things are going these days you don't know what's happening in the business world uh no there's many Dynamics going on how you how are you doing right now on a scale of like 1 to 10 do you like I'm two of six coffees in so I'm doing okay he's like I've got Rocket Fuel and I'm ready to start this weekend you can tell it might be a good day when you're heading into work and you're getting every green light is that a good indication that things might be possibly a good day that's a good at least that's a positive way to spin things sometimes and I appreciate that from you I really really do so here we are it's Friday it's school vacation week shout out to all of our friends and family and parents caregivers twice if you're still in there if you're doing all right right I'm hoping that some people got away like got to go visit somewhere else you know the airport's been busy I got some numbers from Logan so um you know folks are traveling uh despite there's some fear still apprehension after the latest Airline stuff but uh yeah like that seems to be an uptick in that business yeah I have several friends who are pilots and one who's a flight attendant and uh uh you know it's unfortunately these things happen and luckily nothing bad happened with the Delta flight in Toronto but still amazing the technology that saved everyone yeah yeah it's amazing it's full on um award Seasons shows and I can't I didn't watch the Grammys I'm not gonna Oscars Tony's I know that there are lots of places for people to watch all of these exciting yay it's the end of the year things I'm just so not into it that's why YouTube is there can watch the clips yeah through everything that's four hours I did sit though and watched the entire SNL from start to finish did you no yeah I watch Clips yeah exactly that's how you can pick it up now good morning Miss Lauren over at o places congratulations on your top five entrepreneural ship um She's Got an opportunity to actually work with um one of the guys from shark tank that's amazing and this is a Buzzard's Bay business so I'm so excited for her she's also an eforall grad very cool rtb SAG Awards on Sunday on Netflix no thank you sir even Shark Tank post got into politics this past election season and they're still jumping around yeah I don't know it's kind of unavoidable it's unavoidable at this point yeah what's up Gloria give us a temperature in Canada as we're complaining about the cold I'm over it I'm ready to pack my bags and go to someplace sunny I don't this time of year is really tough for a lot of us especially if we haven't been able to get away from February vacation a lot of folks traveling Aruba has been very busy friends who work down there obviously last time we were on I was actually down there yeah day um you got to go over to Margaritaville yesterday yes I did I've been there a few times in Hy on 130 too it's uh just it's interesting being in in having lunch and watching people in their bathing suits and robes wait a minute it's five degrees outside but uh it's a different environment very friendly very nice very kid-friendly a lot of stuff going on this week down there so so people are just walking around in their bathing Su out of the pools and just walking around to the Joe Merchants having lunch or or so that's awesome that reminds me of one time I was visiting Vegas and I I was visiting my mom H we decided to stay in Vegas and I had both of my kids and she's just Waltzing around the casino in her bathing suit and somebody was like ma'am you cannot be in here like this I wasn't used to I wasn't expecting it I love it yeah it's school vacation week so what a better place to take your children other than Margaritaville there's no other just because they've got the indoor water park and they've got that whole themed area and also tomorrow is national Margarita day so everyday is Margarita day there you well you don't need to have an excuse to be able to tell me to go have a margarita I'll tell you that right now is it too early no well I mean I got work to do that response you did you did notice my hesitation yes I did delay yeah we're actually giving away a couple of uh night stays at Margaritaville with lemon Ado so our monthly giveaway we do every single month and it's an overnight stay and then we've got this Tournament of Champions going on over at um Shipwrecked for our trivia groups and that's also we're giving another night stay away at Margaritaville so I'm doing my best over here in mashby to bring some bodies over you to Margaritaville you're in mashby but you're everywhere I I can't keep track of you it's like watching Santa go on on Christmas Eve where's Stephanie tonight she's everywhere we're excited you know what we've got a new host also that's out there hosting some trivia for us um the staff is like just really energized and excited to be able to be out and about we're starting over at Captain Parker's uh next week with Robin she'll be back in full force so yay Robin and we've been talking we've been talking summer gigs already and uh we're gonna be every single week over at Cape Cod Winery so we're excited you know it's nice to see a lot of venues like Cape Cod beer a lot of folks are going out doing having a lot of bands play again we were so sheltered for so many years and then after that we were still hesitant to be in public and just sit with a lot of folks together it's just nice to get things going again yeah right uh oh John Cotton said trouble the two of us together yo put trouble with dollar signs or exclamation points afterwards we're working on all of them right one is baill related but that's the other show it's got to be balanced though I'm I am new in this position here as director of mashby Chamber of Commerce and it's not without my bumps and bruises right now I I'm definitely struggling and some things but also doing really well and connecting with our businesses we've got some new members coming in um we're it is a working progress you know what I mean when you take over somebody else's position and then you have to make it yours and so I'm getting knocked a bit are you getting the bumps and bruises or causing them that's that's the biggest battle so right you know it's always a bit of both it is right WWE right that's it all the above says John for sure uh what's going on with the Pope do we have any updates uh this morning I heard a brief update he has double pneumonia doing better but he's 88 years old when is there's no retirment age for these guys I heard and I've read that they're doing rehearsals for his funeral H rehearsals and I laughed out loud yesterday when I was at Mash PTV and I was on the show with Hank and Hank came in and he started talking about the pope and he's like you know it's always really exciting when a pope passes said my daughter to me because of all the smoke and the conclaves and all the circumstance that goes along with the the change of the Guard if you will I was like I don't think I've ever heard somebody say it's always an exciting time when the PO passes one of my friends used to work in Boston TV and used to have to put these packages together when a celebrity with someone that passes away yeah all stuff they're continually adding content as you go along so if something tragic happens in the death you have that package available to air so that's not a great job you that is a bizarre that is someone's job I know that the Enterprise right now is looking for an obituary writer I mean whenever I saw it I was like you know somebody's got to do these jobs it has to happen that way good morning Denise hey Dave hagner Ricky B thanks for joining us on the show Marty burmel from the greater hyenes chamber is here we're just talking we're talking business we're talking life we're talking current events this morning what's happening at the hyenas chamber so before I go into that went from Margaritas to the pope we segue all over the map here don't we right yeah we check the boxes I'm not afraid to talk about it you just might not like what I have to say about it oh well we have a dumb button here we talked about that before we don't but anyway we're unfiltered here in the morning well chambers's going a lot of stuff we have the Father's Day car show we're planning we're meeting again today so uh the show's half sold out already that's on Father's Day from 8:30 to 2 that's our big big venue here on Main Street hyanis um lot of other events going on we are partnering with the Brazilian Community the Brazilian local business the BLB it's called and okay the Brazilian Community as far as establishing their businesses uh getting registered business plans networking uh Communications with Town officials Etc so it's been a really rewarding experience we had six men members joined this past month alone so exciting so and it's such a large community and this is also applying to other communities Latino also so we're looking to really expand our our help and reach to uh to help folks get their business going there's so many opportunities out there you know that was really interesting I'd had a conversation with Jen Christian over at e forall they've got their pitch competition so healthy choices pitch competition by the way is coming up in April so if you've got a business business idea uh an idea to just generate some sort of excitement or Avenues towards a healthier lifestyle of any sort definitely think about pitching for eforall but we were talking about different things that she you know like an exit survey sort of like what do you think we need more of and I said I would love to see more of representation from the Brazilian Community especially in the the driving of a business impact because they really are in our community changing things for us very much so we had one business we helped out last a couple weeks ago she uh just was a communication issue uh wanted to do a lot of work spent a lot of money already doing something didn't wasn't permitted wasn't communicated she needed to be permitted so you know it cost her $155,000 to reset these are the kind of things we try to avoid and try to help yeah she was very upset but and this is a conversation I want to have with our business owners out there too if you need a question you have a question you have something to do with business Marty five seconds after I asked you a question this week you had the link to town hall where to go how to service this business and I was like thank you very much we are a resource we are very much so and and and also want to listen what's going on in fact the chamber in the next coming months are going to be meeting with the with the stakeholders members just to get their temperature on how things are in the town yeah which is ever changing right very much so how can we make things better for you how can we communicate to our to our Pol politicians Out There Our elected officials how we can make things work better I think Don wants the obituary job I I will set you up with that that is something that you're good at um the Enterprise is looking to fill that position Gina Sherry Wendy thank you so much for joining us on the show it's always a great time when a couple of chamber people get together and start talking about business and random things that are happening in the world but we're always affected right you have to pay attention to what's happening because it does trickle down to us locally or we can do a night show with Margaritas on the side that could be a different version show I like that the full vent sign me up for that morning show please yeah right but uh so that's been positive it's been a very good opportunity for people to just to get out and discuss things and and you know we're we're open to hear conversations and and dialogue get create dialogue to get things going further so yeah I know the the rising food costs our restaurants are definitely in a space right now where they're they're making some changes and they've got to figure things out and um one of my jobs years ago as a purchasing agent for a food food manufacturer so I look at I still look at the Commodities sometimes I look at the price of eggs just to incorporate that price increase to uh anything you do how do you adjust that some exactly some corporations charging 50 cents more per egg I think I was reading some breakfast place a national chain was I think it was Denny's or something I mean you got to make it up somehow but still I know well my friends over at phes have closed the Sunday breakfast buffet because they can't keep up with it Paul um but I did see that Stop and Shop is facing a strike yeah they're looking to close their Distribution Center or at least trying to to cut some costs down for health they're trying to hit the health insurance too so yeah touchy subject but they've already made plans to uh redirect the distribution to another uh company and that doesn't sit very well either yeah I it's kind of a snafu at this point um and we're hoping for the best for us but also um for our friends on the islands you know if that is that is a big thing they don't have the opportunity to just go to a different grocery space or go to a different place that might just be the only way that they can get food at this point so they're stocking up and watching this uh very closely and it affects the staff I mean there's critical issues with contracts and stuff and you know you want the the the business to make money but by the same token the employees have to work yeah strike doesn't help picketing started this morning I just saw a brief coming up some picketing started so how how do you strike that balance how do you just sit back and like try and take it all in and just also personally unaffected by it but also helpful to others without you know jumping into The Fray a little bit it's a tough balance it's a tough balance without biting your lip or you see blood running down then you know really tough balance but it's tough i' I've been in a couple situations locally here where you just have to just listen and acknowledge what's being said you have some opportunities to personally comment but that's not your role in the job you're in that particular time so yeah right you're just a big good sounding board you have to be what's up Mari thanks for joining us she was wondering what happened to Hank on our Tuesday show I think the beginning just got cut off I was not cutting Hank off we love Hank um you want strike yeah no we don't need him going on strike right now I got bigger problems he's got a good music program so I don't do that that's great he does well we've got Jazz and Blues here on the weekend on Lemon Ado and he puts a lot of effort into the weekend shows I would definitely suggest that you take them in he adds new music every single week he's really crafting something pretty special and uh I'm working on packaging that for him to get out nationally because it really is a good show and I'm like oh this is this is my station this sounds wonderful thank you Hank background music good stuff is is he working you know well it does take a village I know that uh Lisa's got some new students that uh I'm G to be uh sitting with over uh wkkl and uh at the college level and a couple of new stars She'll always call me she's like a doing mom I got a couple of new stars for you that's awesome what's also great is you can pick the feed up times we have heard every song yeah you heard it a million and five times I I remember years ago if the actually was the song Disco Duck Rick De I used to have to take my headset up I can't lookist top 40 it was a top 40 song Back Then and Muskrat Love confidence in I to play that oh bad that's how back that's how many musrat love saying that these days it's you can't keep a straight face right so bad it's awful um but so it's nice and refreshing when you get to hear some new tracks and you're like oh what's that or I haven't heard that in a really long time that makes me excited quick radio story uh my first time in a Ruba back in 1999 I'm at this bar and I'm hearing Barbara Daisy they broadcast mvy radio they're playing it at the bar stop isn't that crazy well that they that's part of their tagline right yeah even before we started this online platform really promoting it nby radios back then was just you know starting promoting you know their online listening opportunity so yeah and they've had their bumps and bruises in their back stronger than ever um given the climate of the the condition of radio right now I we all watch everything that's going on with NPR what's happening with um W um what is it CI yeah um it's just it's kind of heartbreaking to see some of these people that have put a lot of work and effort into saving a space and to have it ignored um we're watching it I mean if I can be supportive I I will but I we have friends of ours that are radio DJs that are absolutely losing their mind on social media I don't know when that is like the new are you okay when somebody has a meltdown on social media and then 5 seconds later they're like I'm fine everything's good but I have friends that make me laugh on the on the weekly have quit Facebook no I'm back no I quit I hate it here no wait I'm back it's okay the political climate right in the political climate right now people are upset anyway with a lot of things going on so a lot of people are venting which is understandable but some of us don't want to hear the venting all the time we want to stay try to stay positive that's why on my social media you'll see coffee memes and jokes I try to deter as much as possible this takes this is a common thing with me and coffeee for some reason so um it seems to be your speed Marty wait for my my Green Mountain sponsorship or something like that that's it Mari said thanks for the great shout out to Hank but I'm not gonna be singing disco now I'm gonna be singing Disco Duck all day damn it oh my God I had to play once or twice an hour it's an earworm it reminds me of roller skating it reminds me of Bobby's roll away my to do our roller skating people are singing this though I'm yes oh my God Muskrat Love Captain don't do it to me please I can't now I'm gonna be singing that also it's fullon Girl Scout cookie season and if you are trying to avoid that to watch your waistline watch out I feel like the cape we always start early we always start around Christmas time is when it's like full on Girl Scout season but for the rest of the universe it's Girl Scout cookie time now and all the troops as a former wine salesperson also liquor store manager uh girl Scot cookies do peer well with wine so thank you very much for that update Mar after the kids are ined you want to you know have some comforting uh end of the day nibbles let's say this is what I do not miss about being the cookie mom for the troop leader we would always have them in the garage boxed up and I would go to like try and sell them and they they would just be empty my kids would it was their own personal Pantry so it was like $2,000 later at the end of cookie season and I'm like my gosh all these cookies what was this last year or something at the Canada Pacific dispensary someone set up a set up that's a no-brainer right there $5,000 in one day this is that's that is a business move that is a boss business business move right there and that troop leader of that mom you are smart smart parents right there I appreciate you they're learning business skills right that's the whole point of the cookie sales not only is it a fundraiser but they're getting those boxes in the kids hands and you're getting them to talk to people and you're learning them soft business skills and stuff that is supposedly developmental for them for the rest of their lives right and that's the feedback I got from one mom you're selling girls called cookies and wine I said but it's business skills one goes with the other I'm not encouraging your daughter to drink wine but you're gonna drink wine so you bought wine what's with that Mom I don't know Marty I think that that's definitely pushing the envelope just a little bit oh we could FedEx it overnight too if you wanted to I was laughing in our c crazy crime listing of stuff today there was a student in China that set a dorm on fire why because he was trying to hide his Inflatable girlfriend this is something I've never seen before in my entire life the movie Airplane started this didn't it emergency auto pilot that movie pushed the envelope too back then a little bit I had to laugh you know what is we're coming on spring break time and you're about to start seeing some of these things filter into our crazy crime world of things and uh that one just made me laugh it's like a little kid when they panic and they trying to hide something we just lit it on fire sorry just throw it under the bed that's what I used to do years ago no one will see all my dirty clothes just throw it under the bed thank you these kids don't even go out anymore they don't even want to go to their dorm they're they're too busy with their AI friends AI also someone sent me an a an article about an AI dating app okay so this person communicat with this virtual person online like they're dating or talking so they know they know the person is AI adap yeah they they adapt to this personality this computer image V you pick out the the hair color the body size everything and the person comes up on your screen and you chat with this person like you and I are I a little SC it's a little scary but also I mean when you can create your own perfect person for yourself that won't get you in trouble I guess it's a little sad I'm a JP maybe I could do a marriage that's a whole new first AI marriage in hyenas get it done AI yeah AI qualified I'll what job have you not done uh lot of stuff I've done over the years I am I am also a JP which made me laugh I was like why do we do these things I don't know just in case I need them I've collected these skills I I was doing I was helping a few friends out and this became uh it became a business I didn't realize there's so much you know demand for JPS actually in AR Ruba coming up next year perhaps hysterical Mary Jane said Weird Science I'm like yep absolutely we are living Weird Science right now I just imagine on on an altar I get this Monitor and this guy trying to marry the how do I that work Marty if anyone will find a way you will do that because this is what we're good at right marriage right we can AI therapy I mean all these things we can open up here actually I think that that might be some an Avenue that needs to be explored right now as we're closing hospital beds as we're closing these areas I just get so worried um that our our infrastructure and the things that we actually do need and I'm I'm nervous for us a little bit yeah very much much so I mean nurses for example um God bless them you can't find enough staff and then again just to find the housing for them to work here on K fol come you know traveling nurses are here in the summer god um but I've spoken to many over the years it's pickly this past year um just scary 13 14 hour shifts um and there it's not for lack of people doing the training are the schools are full of of new nurses which is exciting that more people are going into the field and we do definitely need healthc Care Professionals for sure but you're right where are we going to put them yeah doctors too primary doctors once they you know they start up here um you got to pay their their so yeah right hey Deb nice to talk to you this morning I saw that fish can wrecking ni people from what they're wearing just by color perhaps apparently it's it said it's speaking of weird news and science while they're probably not judging anybody for their fashion choices fish can definitely tell people apart on their outfits according to a new study who's studying fish and their recognition is what I want to know there must be a grant for that somewhere there's a grant for everything out there right seriously well that is another place for to reach out and kind of a job that the chamber does right connecting people with resources funds that they might need for their other stuff grants a lot of stuff happening even barnville here's a lot of grants that for small businesses eforall for example you join that program it's like a continuing Network after you finish the program too 100% even a larger scale incorporating what the eforall business practice as far as connecting networking growing learning um it all works and we have so many great organizations like that too um and we're working on that over uh at the mashby chamber we're starting our lunch and learns and we've got one coming up over at U wine bar and this is free for chamber members to come and have lunch on us and learn a business skill we've got uh Ember marketing coming to teach people how to do a little bit better social media videos or and it's not just for leites it's people that are actually good at that also but maybe to just up your game a little bit uh we're working on how to do your business finances better with the seed program and connecting that to our friends we've got a job fair coming up with mass higher um we're definitely a place for you to come and be like I need this for my business and we will point you in the right direction TR brons is having a job fair also for students that's be coming up it'll be on our website probably on Monday Mass higher here in Barnesville highness also having one end of March but as you're saying it's all about Connections and and the biggest thing I've I've seen in this job even though we have the online capability the social media skills and talents and we're broadcasting and posting everywhere that onetoone conversation is always the best still 100% it just really works every time well and it's hard right because we are a lot in the virtual world of things and when you're not getting out there and touching people you're not getting that one-on-one and sometimes people just need a reminder all of the time we are here we are here to help you there we're going to connect you with the job and I love that you're working with the students that has been like the biggest joy for me uh working with mashby high school seniors this year and uh getting them in the workforce and having them kind of touch a little bit of the business before they're going to spend four years educating themselves on the business do I even like this do I even want to do this yeah um there's many folks who were just trying to restart their re reboot their lives restart um grow I I I really love doing that I like to encourage people and show them different opportunities out there too plus being in this job in the chamber World working here at the chamber um you get to meet all kinds of folks so yeah to it's like your your walking resume here this is what I like to do you someone can pick up your social skills you'd be great at this job for us but we never had that Marty when we were growing up no no we had sandwich boards that was here's my resume H me please I can't even believe I'm still alive it's a cookies over here all of a sudden I'm in the military and I'm like what's happening this they gave me I free outfits in cookies I showed up but if I recall correctly you mentioned the words Myrtle Beach at one time so yeah I don't that was an interesting time in my life I gotta tell you it it really was should that be another show oh my gosh I well this is how I I got into radio fulltime I had interned before uh the Hillman's brother was my high school Civics teacher so I ended up somehow interning with Greg Hill before I started my high school I mean before I started college and uh I kind of put that away I did Communications when I was in the Army and it wasn't until I in Myrtle Beach where my next door neighbor was like hey can you come into the radio station and kind of cover the boards for me and I'm like yeah I have a little bit of a radio background sure I didn't realize that he was a male stripper and I was covering his shift so that he could go dance at Fan Tales what was the name of that place fantales Fant Tales like so good morning Myrtle Beach instead of Good Morning Vietnam that would be you yes 100% so I found myself working back in the radio space again and uh my first gig ever in Myrtle Beach I was eight months pregnant and they had me go to a strip joint it was the master's club and here I am like announcing people and I'm like where am I right now this is this is not regular life there was a bachelor party I went to um many years ago and I went to this constabulatory of unclothed females and the DJ was one of the Boston radio personalities love it killer I'm not but you're like wow I said I'm getting paid all this money Marty a gig is a gig you know what it's like when you need to get out there and make your bucks they gonna make your bucks I I don't be able to cue the record correctly with everything what's going on around me like oh my gosh yes good morning Mr Danny Walsh thank you for joining us on the show this is you you rolled in right at the perfect time my friend working a gig is at a strip club that would be interesting you know a gig is a gig Marty I did it it doesn't say what kind of fish um I think it's funny that Haley's like wait what kind of fish was that study I'm looking back to see it just said it was in the Mediterranean Sea I can see me walking by the goldfish tank the fish look at me like ah who's this big guy in front of them right not again yeah not again no sushi today sorry that was my question of the day today is what food if you could only pick one forever what would it be and it was Sushi variety I need a little variety Marty well Sushi has so many varieties as it is exactly that's why I chose that for my food oh hot or cold um what else have we got going on in the world I just saw that the James Bond you said the last thing that you watched in the theater was James Bond theater was a James Bond movie I haven't been in a while either the newer theater is now have more comfortable seats for me um you know I just I need to uh not be tucking one shoulder out while I'm sitting there so uh um you know entertainment cers I guess has a couple theaters actually they're opening up at uh the mall again very soon I believe that's what I wanted to talk about what's going on with that situation because I know a lot of people were like distraught they were closed but I'm like but wait there's more it's getting bigger right Bill owns Entertainment Cinemas in Dennis and the northst Music Circus a Music Theater I should say and um um we're supposed to be meeting in a couple weeks and lot's happening there there's a lot stuff that plann for that place not just a movie theater entertainment um Speak Easy Bar I think I heard something like that being mentioned I'm excited for it you know a little variety something new I mean there there's a lot of development happening in hyenas right now and I'm excited for you thank you the the F the interesting thing is you imagine watching a movie it's something critical and you've had two or three drinks because they're serving alcohol and pizza and you got to get up like ah I you know you don't want to leave hit the pause button we're used to doing that at rewat it again Danny says don't eat the fish at the strip club my God I never understood that I really never understood the eating it's like crab legs I'm like why crab legs oh my God I uh so this one time I was there this gentleman this person was dancing literally like three feet in front of him and he's eating a sandwich I would be choking on my food I just can't people are so weird but uh the James Bond franchise is now uh owned I guess by Amazon yeah what don't they own at this point there was a I think there was a couple years of the rights fee for this going back and forth as far as we have the control of the creative control and I think that's the issue right so oh okay um you're seeing that a lot in music also where that people are just selling off their their rights to their own music to make a quick Buck I don't know what's going on but that seems to be very popular well the the strike was it last year with the actors of the AI component we could conceivably recreate a character just add their voice to it or image just adapt to what they're saying I've seen some adaptions on celebrities of of late they didn't say this but the computer made it look like they said this yeah that's been really creepy um you know so you could have a an avatar of Stephanie good please multiple shows recreate me throw her out there live from mytle Beach it's the Shag show right no never again I liveed through that that was that was a that was a time in my life I'll leave it at that you have the Shag contest at one of your nights night events one of these days hysterical we're always working on fun new activities I'll tell you what we're going to be over at dos tonight and tonight is country so we're going to be playing some country Tunes uh we've got a friend of ours that is going to be leading some dances and we've also got some karaoke our Friday night socials have been so fun last week we did the uh Cap Cod love connection and we had three couples get out there and just it it was it's very much like a cruise ship on Friday you never know what you're walking in for but you're down for the entertainment and I'm loving it I love it it's like puffer bellies years ago yeah it's from eight to 11: and and we just have a good time whatever we feel like we want to do it depends on what the crowd is down for if they want to dance more than sing fine if they want to play some games we've got that too so uh it's the evolution of Fridays but it's been popular so I'm excited for it and line dancing's back it was for the longest time it was out there it disappeared for a while now it's back again again these activities for people to do after work getting out and about to do things after the covid years which is hard to believe because it's been five years or less since we had this I know years ago but um here we are well now everybody's freaking out because of the flu it's it's a real problem right now it's high on the cape I know that I get the B Health reports once a week um but again even though we've had flu shots and there's always variance out there too as you would know field years ago too but um just keep going I guess right take it easy stay home hydrate not from wine Wine's not a hydrator can be you can have water with wine actually water is in wine right I remember correctly there you go I uh I saw speaking of ways to get some tourism dollars flowing I saw that Nathan's Famous wants to help you boil your Franks the 100% New York way do you like boiled peanuts no oh no and I'm gonna be in Charleston tomorrow and like my girlfriend is she runs um a beautiful breakfast lunch restaurant down there and she was always like s0 you're not eating the boiled peanuts properly and I'm like E I don't like them anyway I tried to have the boil peanuts it's not good tell me you really feel Stephanie well we are getting if you like milkshakes and stuff we're having a Shake Shack coming up in hyas that's coming soon across the mall more details coming out about that rumor has it I love that their burgers are delicious I recently was at Encore and uh they've got a Shake Shack in there and uh I I tried that it was good if it brings some business to the cape you know it if it as much as we love the local aspect of things um these larger companies do hire us locals folks too so um it does help a a bit for the economy other local businesses are always uh amazingly key to us like like the uh um the group you talk about this morning too so uh we love them yeah and there are so many places for you to to grow in that space score we can um efor all you name it got the ability to grow and uh flourish I'm excited for you Danny Walsh uh Brandy's new place uh her is CR it's just crushing I'm excited for you she made a cake for me for my birthday a couple years ago my God just I think I had 90% of it so good but she has got and I always love talking about it because it was just so clever the little machine that's inside of the Cape Cod Mall that is uh the cape uh cupcake vending machine but there's other great treats and snacks in there as well a dessert ATM what a brilliant idea right right we didn't have anything like that in hyena so it's always like just clever timing and getting things in here and I absolutely love it if I can mention we have an interesting business after hours coming up in mid-march I believe it's March March 20th at Cape Cod 5 headquarters okay we've never they've never had a business after hours there so we're going to be having our business after hours there love it so details will we on our website hess.com the events page if people want to register but it's a it's a look at that building which is an amazing structure in itself as far as the the uh the uh not just the architecture but the it's the campus the camp the campus that's the word they use correct thank you
