what saraphina and I were in a entrepreneurial book club where Stephanie never read the right book and Stephanie was terrible at this book I I really sto at book club I did not fabulous I'm what I just had a visual just had a visual he proud of it hello and good morning hello boys and girls you know this this setup with these microphones this way just immediately reminded me of that sketch on Saturday Night Live with the two NPR ladies delicious dish yes we are a cable TV so yes say that I never asked you oh I I don't know why that popped into my head but so good it did that was one of the funnier things theyve and and the one with Alec Baldwin was funny and then the thing with Betty White and and her muffins was oh my Lord so good see those classic skits right there fabulous wouldn't you have loved to have met Betty White uh yeah we went to see years ago um uh we're on vacation in Florida and we went to a taping of The Golden Girls and the audience is told don't acknowledge any of the stuff Stars don't wave to them anything and B Arthur is very Business likee and Professional everything else and and Betty White is coming on you know not not initially and she comes out you know she's just standing off to the side and the first thing she does is turn around and wave to the audience of course of course she's Betty White right you're not going to tell her what to do right right I feel like yeah that there was no telling Betty White anything I feel like her character was very much be on Rose Island who is one of my favorite gold girls right oh absolutely absolutely we've got a golden girls party in the works I'm very looking forward to it what a Doos uh well to be determined who wants to take us up on our very bad Golden Girls idea but golden dress is your favorite Golden Girl how much fun would that be I'm so down I'm so blanch and if you are and and and if you go back and you look they were much younger than the characters they actually play that's what's upsetting things okay and they really don't need things right now no they don't have a home they don't have a you know you can't bring them plus if you donate things like clothes it's just more work because they have to go through the clothes because you would be surprised when people put in those donation bags yeah you know the clothes are always always say clean so what they really need United Way Red Cross um uh the relatives group money um the world Food Kitchen they just need money that can allow them to go out and buy the things that they that they need maybe the you know the use close later but U but certainly not right now um rtb said yes is getty but she passed first ironically so did not know that good morning Miss Cindy how the heck are you and of course Betty passed last yeah and U Mari says happy Heavenly birthday to my dad Mario oh yeah grumpy he was affectionately called grumpy good guy one of the best but yeah just grumpy his nickname served what he was he called him grumpy he could be grumpy yep although I find that that is most chefs though he was a chef wasn't he yes he was yeah and I feel like chefs for whatever reason they create in their kitchen they make lovely things but they are tend to be grumpy people mhm yeah yeah and he was he was they like the Solitude of the kitchen and he did yeah he did that's his space right but but interestingly enough he was Italian but my mother-in-law who was English cooked all the Italian food because Mario's mother taught her how to cook for her son so Janet made these times are different I know Janet made the meatballs and lasagna and and all of and and all of that not not Mario he made all the other stuff but the Italian cooking fell to fell to Janet because she was taught how to do it I love it but also I hate it yeah that's just not how we operate anymore not at all no so we're here live at mashby TV Chris has left the left us here again no we're not gonna break anything we're not going to do anything don't think he's coming back today is National nothing day National nothing day yeah I don't know exactly know what that means but like Seinfeld nothing nothing okay the show about nothing that was about all of the things that was just a lie and something that they told the executives to get it done yes still such a good show oh yeah so yeah do nothing day or nothing day whatever that means I guess they've just embraced the fact that you know some days don't need to be celebrated some days are just a day right so are you doing nothing today no no yeah right NOP I'm trying to Fig figure out which something is the most important pressing something uhuh that's basically been my days oh okay until I get used to this new schedule yeah I'm just kind of still not wrapped my brain around where I'm supposed to be when I'm supposed to be there and how I'm fitting in all of these pieces so that is do you do you write it all down yeah I have a schedule yeah but it still doesn't help it doesn't mean that there aren't other things that take too long or take long longer especially when you're editing audio by the way we are audio assistants video assistants we have three of us that work behind the scenes at lemon Ado to create podcasts edit things and help you out with whatever it is that you need so if you need that service we're available um but sometimes you know you you don't give an exact amount of time on something sometimes you're sitting there waiting for something to render right and then I'm like okay well this is now sucked up all of my computer so now now what do I do what else can I do right I go to another computer right than S more music to download oh well that at least that's like okay here you go that's a that's a five minute task right it's not that heavy lifting I'm trying to do it on Sundays now okay where where where I think you're not terrifically busy not that I want to see you work all day Sunday but I think on Sundays you're probably not all that tied up and you can just tie the computer downloading all all the songs that I keep sending well we are going to be live on um Sundays starting uh this Sunday over at knockabout from 11: to1 we will be there we're going to do a quick little live show at noon when Hank gets off the air and uh it's just open to anyone come and perform we have open vacancies for not one but two possible farmers markets this year so we're definitely looking for entertainment we're always looking for a place for you to show off your goods and wees and maybe you make cinnamon buns and the best cinnamon buns well come and hang with us for one Sunday and uh try your try your space of of vending and this is free this is a free opportunity it's a community space come and share with us and and will knock about pres serving food yeah they've got great food yeah they do they they've really upped it upu their game now they've got Smash Burgers and Fries and all kinds of other stuff they like full kitchen yeah the pizza was the pizza well full kitchen that used to be a full service a long long time ago but they lost some of the room in there because they had to make room for more beer right well what's it's Thursday one day before the weekend I've had a kind of quiet week and the nighttime stuff really like at a board meeting I was supposed to to Margaritaville and check it out yesterday I didn't have a chance to do that oh all right I'm I'm interested to hear how that actually is what Margaritaville yeah very 5050 on the returns from people really I think it just depends on what you're walking in how we dealing with our expectations right right I guess so people were upset that they spent $18 for a plastic cup my tie but also yeah Al that the plastic glasses have to be able to be transferable to their pool area so that's why they went with like the higher end it looks like glass all right but it's very much plastic so that turned people off right there and some other things but I did get uh glowing recommendations from a couple of my friends because they're open later everything around here closes at 9:00 p.m. yeah oh they're open later they're open until 1 o' a.m. yeah like the time we're allowed to be open till really and they have live entertainment every day oh so there are two pluses in that category of what are you looking for if you're looking for that then it's there and when the tourists come that will be muchly appreciated well for sure and also for our artists that are always looking for a place to play it's really nice to know that there's some place that is at least booking musicians yeah seven nights a week that's incredible I mean is it is frustrating that you can't not that we go out very much after 8 o' no but there's no place to go anywhere right you know the number of times you know a couple of times we've come back from from being off cape and hey let's stop and get something to eat on the way home like oh nine o'clock nope nope nothing's open what you know except the the drive-thru at Wendy's or something yeah now there's anything wrong with that right but you know you're looking for drink a couple of options I'd like a couple of options please right and then obviously it's Never As Good As what you can make at home uh if we were all Cooks like Lyn Benderson right oh exactly or or or Mar sh yeah right if you can just magic up something like that then why are we going out right she made the best grilled cheese last night hey you know what it's the little things that's right I busted out some grilled cheese fairly recently and it was like bougie grilled cheese nice butter nice bread good cheese and I made tomato soup and I had so much basil over the summer from uh our fabulous friend Deb over at one of our Farms that I froze them all and so now they're all just like broken apart so I can just grab a couple of leaves and throw in My Soup and it's perfect very nice Chef's kissed to me the other day grilled cheese and tomato soup there's nothing like it right nothing like it what are other some food combos that just make you feel comfortable yesterday my husband crunchy bread and a kale soup couldn't have been happier couldn't get me to eat kale soup really my nope I hated it all growing up because I'm a Portuguese and um it wasn't until my husband and I started making it and I started putting the ingredients that I know are real ingredients yeah my my my aunts used to get pretty sneaky about whatever they were throwing in that pot that's probably what scared me away from it all of a sudden you see an octopus tentacle pop up and you're like all right that's poof that is not K soup what what trickery sorcery have you got going on so now that I control it I love it yeah and I don't put the beans in it well that's one of the things I don't like about right I no beans I don't like the beans me either no no there are no beans in my kale soup let's good you know right you I had my first session with Miss Brie the other day how'd you do I did okay we're talking about working out here we are new new stuff right personal trainer and um Mar has been having Bri come for a while and and so I I I started this week I was in much better shape well I was in much better shape in the moment than I thought I was however I got up the next day I was like what the heck did I do oh yeah that's right I was putting my leg out this way and my arm that way that's why I'm so sword all the good surprise sore yes the surprise sore yeah but I'm going to do good and and she's going to get me ready for golf I'm not having a me too moment on that I thought about it I did some hit flexor material things yesterday I was like maybe I'll get on the bike nope not today not today no gon I have to move the clothes yeah not GNA no right maybe I I need to and one of my friends said strategically place weights all around so while you're waiting for something to be done like loading the dishwasher just kind of lift one up or while you're doing other things kind of do some I was like okay I can kind of trick myself into it if I leave weights all around my house but then it looks crazy that's way too much work strategically place them well maybe that was her intention that was my workout oh oh to place them you have to pick them up and put them down pick them up them down okay so you will notice if you come over my house it's basically like an Easter egg hunt anyway um but I do have random kettle bells in random places and different different weights all over the place just to see you know while I'm sitting there that it might be inspired to live something and you just have to make sure you're not picking up the dog that's useless that's an ounce no but he's like this big oh she's like six ounces that's not even fun she's so small oh my God Bella Bella my Miss Bella who is uh just turned the corner on her 15th birthday and uh I tell her to go to the light every day good morning Nate smaller dogs live longer great it's the big ones that don't that don't last I know one of the biggest days of activity when I was here I walked 12 miles on Tuesday good God Nate oh you're up in the mountains that's it he's getting his Mountain workout look at you you don't even have to go to the gym anymore holy cow good morning Emily he really not that he really needs to go to the gym no he was I don't think he had much nobody liked to I think it's also a mental game right there yeah I think it's just good for your brain to go to the gym also MH they say those are the two things that you're supposed to do continue to educate yourself and move your body okay I'm working on the other one okay I can't always have everything educating yourself I'm always educating myself every day is a new a New Horizon for me I'm like what new software what new what I have to learn what what's this now the continuing education is exhausting now now what's the replacement for Tik Tok that's owned by the Chinese as well I was asked by my child who is still on our phone plan he has to ask before he downloads any app and that was the request yesterday what is it was the red note red note but it was in Chinese so I okay I I don't know how to pronounce it it's just red note all right it was it was a red thing and it was in Chinese and I was like he is downloading this red note and then of course I allowed it because I'm curious about it right there's what three days left Bob Dylan before the band goes into did you see this no Bob Dyan joins Tik Tok days before that closes no kind of like where where are we what's happening oh got to see what that's all about I gotta write a song yeah just just a couple of days times they are a changing let me check this out before it goes away I think president Trump has asked the Supreme Court to um stall that to delay it because he thinks he can he thinks he can do a deal with the Chinese to get it all fixed so I'm sure he can what it's good Tunes he made great great music oh he did had a very sad life in in a lot of ways but he doesn't have to be doing this now yeah I mean why can't he find some young girlfriend like 60 and go go sit on a beach somewhere in Margaritaville I mean come on Frankie come to the cave we'll take you we'll fix you yep a lot of people are using their AI now we're training our little AI Bots to do all the things for us and they're noticing that it is linked to lower critical thinking abilities using someone to think for you no I'm shocked I'm shocked and chrin doing my Home Alone face what D don't say people aren't thinking for themselves anymore because they trade a robot to think for them that's stunning i i i who writes this stuff I I need a drink I I need a different job I think rul it's absolutely ridiculous just like the red dye it was news yesterday that it removed itself from our food system and it is now banned it was taken out of Cosmetics 35 years ago yeah I you know I Waco and he convince him to buy all these supplements so he's taking all these supplements and I'm like why are you such a spaz today are you drinking another coffee I think he had had like four or five coffees yesterday and he was like crazy really I was I'm like you're not even saying words anymore what's happening she like I think it's my I do fish oil it's just so much energy I was like maybe it's you're literally drinking coffee with your fish oil right now oh my goodness put down the Java buddy right you've had enough it's really affecting him now but he's convinced it's the fish oil did you try it I was like yeah I took the fish oil yesterday it was like a drug dealer did you try it yeah yeah I took it I'm still the same me pretty flat right now Arch hasn't hasn't convinced wildest items left behind on buses the story came out of the UK anything from a fridge a fridge to canoes really there are some of the strangest items left behind on buses this year from canoes a shoulder massager a fridge and a set of false teeth Brighton and hve buses which operates from Sussex sui and Kent which I've definitely been on all of those buses 13,000 forgotten items wallets Keys phones Lost Property teen came across a canoe a wardrobe and an entire fridge entire fridge other surprisingly large items found on board of the bus a tent a microwave a Grass trimmer a pool queue and an electric oven why um I think that they use public transportation a lot more than we do in this country so when you got to get a round tank and you don't have a vehicle where else are you going to put your fridge right then there's this from the sandwich police BL a woman came into the station to report receiving photograph a photograph of a man's private parts she got a DP ready okay here here here's the line she reported not having any friends or acquaintances or family members who could be the subject in the photo so she went around asking everybody how does one know that is this yours is this you is this my friend is this you or she knows not him like what honest to God I bet you somewhere somehow we can find out who this human is and just bombard her with more can you identify these for us welcome to 2025 they're in everybody's inbox nobody wants them nobody wants them but they're everywhere no one cares stop trying to identify them and definitely don't call the police no it's embarrassing that's awesome that police officer couldn't wait to go home to tell his or her family what happened at work today those are the days those are the days I got this picture and I don't know apparently gotta pay now yeah buy something you can't hang around now they they are getting rid of their open door policy which went into effect back in I think 2018 when um police in I think it was Philadelphia arrested two black gentleman for loitering when in fact they were having a business meeting which of course you were allowed to do so they instituted this policy uh Starbucks an open door policy which kind of led to people just coming in and hanging out and using the bathroom and taking a nap and everything else so they're taking all that back now okay so you have to buy something so they were profiling they opened it up to everybody then they realize when you open up to everybody we can't have nice things that's right and so now you have to buy things or get out of there right you can't hang around you have to buy something so it's like every other coffee shop and they're just trying right right you just can't you know use the men's room or the women's room or the yeah because people are gross or the or the whatever you are and you give them an inch and they will take a mile yes and it's just like let having a conversation with your teenagers this is why we can't have nice right and it was another case of just an overreaction you know instead of saying okay you know we have an overreaction here let's all come to an agreement about would be nice to have an open meeting space that didn't cost anybody anything right in theory it sounds great yes but at end of the day when you've got to pay for all of these things now your staff is cleaning up nasty bathrooms and nobody's buying anything right and there's no room for anybody to have a seat that's a problem right and everyone's sitting there with your laptops because you have Wi-Fi and they're not buying anything yeah you mean how many cups of well I don't know maybe Cliff could keep them going if he 100% keeps them in Business If he if he went to work there with the Starbucks and he could he's in there all the time the worst thing that ever happened was that online ordering he's like hey I already ordered it you want to go pick it up go pick it up want to run in there and grab my coffees I already ordered them oh so now that they're to go it's just a matter of a human running in there and getting them for him he loves it oh he does Starbucks he has an addiction yeah yeah see I do dunks in the morning yeah I'm not I'm not sitting in the Drive-Thru anymore or or or anything else I you know hit walk in get this than made it too easy for you I made it too easy but it's but it's fine I'm just not I'm not doing a drive-through anymore I'm done there's a TV show that I like that my husband makes fun of me and it's the sex lives of college girls and it's written by Mindy kaing okay and it's just very funny but there was an episode in which the Barista the area in which the coffee shop on campus got these little robots and one of the workers hated the robots locked them in a closet didn't let them anywh because it took away her tips oh she didn't like it it made me laugh because is automation taking away human jobs I don't know well I know when I was teaching up it and I know this is this is still the case it started during Co but at Bridgewater State um the students can order uh food to the dorm room and they've got these little robots yeah that's exactly what it was yeah I mean it's really cool but and and they they know how to stop for traffic um if you start to walk in front of them they'll they'll they'll stop I mean they're really neat little things but you know the students didn't have to leave their room to go to the calf they corre order to go and I don't know this is the way Miami you see them everywhere they're crawling these little robots delivering things all over the place for food door Dash all the other things they've got robots to do it now did you say speaking about robots there was a story a couple of days ago they had the big robotic convention that they had have made lifelike robots women nobody's surprised by this they look like blowup dolls yeah and they can talk and and they can respond those movies are real don't you remember the movie her that's real yeah it was it was spooky they had the you know the the robotic ones that that company in Cambridge nice and safe you just order your own girlfriend right you get one for goes of course like she didn't know well you want those now that's what's in right that is our question of the day what are you doing with all those digital photos all I do is end up buying more and more storage to keep photos I'll probably never look at again just so I know I have them but you know what though I was um but that's what people do now those big huge engagement photos they have photo sessions for everything right I mean obviously he has the money to pay for whatever kind of photo session he he wants but but putting all those fix pictures on you know up in the cloud or digitize them or whatever I was thinking about that all those houses in in California the family pictures they're gone yeah you know I mean that's why I paid for cloud storage just in case right right I mean Mariana's life is is digitized somewhere yeah Megan well there's a box in the basement somewhere I know what happened maybe maybe has some pictures but I'm not sure which actually we've got three boxes to say pictures pictures and pictures what's in it we brought them over when we moved I have no idea yeah we had a house fire 15 years ago we lost everything right before Christmas and the worst part of it was losing all of the big kids stuff right you Katie Ty we have very few photos of them and we asked our family that Christmas to just give us all of the photos that they've ever had of our kids just so that we could have digital copies of them um yeah that really stunk losing their baby book and losing all their stuff and memories right yeah it was awful yeah but then what is it that people say about all this stuff anyway it's stu oh it's your memory it's up in your mind anyway you don't need to hang on to it yeah you do well I mean two years of therapy it took me and I I was fine we got it trauma yeah sure did I lose everything sure but I definitely have a Detachment to stuff now which is good but you do so we've prioritized experiences in our family just because those are the things that are in our mind and I will take with me forever right right and you can remember correct exactly for now and you'll have and you'll have a couple of pictures to go along with it but right but no would just I mean what I think the pictures my dad would take oh good Heavens yeah you know he took pictures and then he took movies and then he had Polaroids my Uncle Dave Dave who was on this uh show today he was the family photographer the family videographer so he has plenty of videos of things that I absolutely never want to see again oh okay I was like he B he dusted them off and put them on my aunt's TV one time and my husband's like is that you and the overalls and the braces and your hair like a mushroom I was like it was the80s leave me alone you didn't know me then it doesn't make any difference I didn't know me then I'd like to have not have known me true those things can have an accident how about those for a fire thanks my my my my my kid brother has all those pictures all the all of that stuff in his in his basement because when my dad died my mother lived alone for 10 years and then when we you know closed down the closed down the house he he took all that stuff and and it's in his basement and I mean it doesn't it doesn't mean anything to to anybody I I remember before he um I'm I'm sure the same thing is true now but he was living next door to my folks and when we started to close down the um close down the house he um designated a corner in the in the attic and he said to me tell Megan when something happens to me all those boxes over there throw them out that was it he said I can't throw them out the the keeper but those can go won't mean anything to Megan yeah just tell her go right to the back she can start right there and throw them out and I'm sure those boxes still still exist yeah yeah I'm sure my mother when she was moving from her various places and husbands um would send me all of those things how Mom I don't know okay different states I believe we are one of them so just Public Service Announcement over here and who does the grocery shopping at Walmart I don't think I do sometimes yeah we've never bought anything I like the superstore in Plymouth if I end up in that area for an appointment or a thing I've got going on I'll bpop in there yeah I don't think groceries in Walmart going to get up to the grocery shopping I just push the car well because we have a tiny one here on the cape that's true so it's really yeah there are some stable shelf items that I would purchase occasionally since we're talking about stores have you been to the new Paper Store in hyas no oh my goodness oh yeah it's worth it yes what's in there huge it's a paper store everything okay everything it's somehow it it is like um a paper store and a gift store and all kinds of women's clothes interesting yeah I haven't been to that whole Plaza at all I haven't even gone to the new Whole Foods no we haven't either I'm afraid I'm G to get lost or just buy everything and then you have no money that's ridic I can't imagine what's going on take my purse take it all well you know if you go to A Whole Foods sometimes if you don't if you don't you know look like you should be there you people kind of look down their nose at you you think I have phone oh yeah I'm oblivious to the world around me I don't even care what someone was like the office spectacle everyone's coming in there listen I get sucked into one of those stupid pimple Dr pimple popper videos and I will sit there for hours I don't this is my gross thing this is this is what I do I will watch them for hours so then that is what I was around all of the girls in the whole Salon oh this is a good one one I'm like send me the video though I want to see it I do suggest that it gets off years of of dead dry skin uhhuh okay I feel like it's a little shiny and and brighter okay I don't know sure okay the moisture is getting into my skin better Hank okay these we are going to go next year because um Universal will have How to Train Your Dragon oh fun Mariana and I are staying are staying home um but Mari oh it's work no it's not it is you're going do I'm going to be networking no you're going to be partying it's okay it's okay really it is but just you know tell Pap of the truth here networking is not always miserable but for the introvert it is a miserable experience it is very difficult but Mar's not introverted no she's not just because we enjoy our work doesn't mean it's not work nonetheless Mari and I agree with you because my husband gets Miffy about it also I'm doing this it's for work and then he always got mad about it because you can't he's got this thing where you can't have fun at work that's not work right it is work I'm sorry you don't enjoy your work in the same capacity that I enjoy my work that was a life choice you made I can't stop that for you what that is part of my job as entertaining right we are going to be doing so over at dos tomorrow night it's from 8 until 1100 it's Friday night social that's going to be cool we're doing town and uh working on some trivia elements that are going on on the TV so it's just had a hankering for biscuits the other day I'm like how am I going to make these biscuits I made some homemade biscuits they were fabulous but it was so annoying to find a recipe that was just a recipe yeah and not 17 pages of BS and then 17 ads and then something else like I just want the ingredients what what are the ingredients give me the measurements right very annoying but now it's so easy I can absolutely recreate this by myself without a recipe I just needed a oh okay that's it okay got this once you get to it really yeah yeah and I very much enjoyed my biscuits M stupid I didn't need them it was my Sunday morning and this is the sign of Stephanie having too much time on her hands she's making biscuits listening to Classic jazz on ladio I did it was a really nice Sunday in Hank you had a little interesting interaction yesterday people were a little fired up about their real ID yes um I watched a piece on the CBS Morning News yesterday morning that you have to have your real ID by May 7 and it's and we're going to um Florida in in June so Mariana can can go to Camp well you can't go through TSA without a real ID so you know giving them the license and everything so I didn't blink cuz I already have one okay I'm not a waiter last it's one of those things my li My license was renewed a couple years ago and it was like do you want the real ID I'm like N Get It um and a lot of a lot of people are like that so um I kind of just took that as as an idea and I yesterday I talked about all the paperwork that you have to have yeah definitely go to your local AAA and save yourself a lot of time they're really super helpful um right we got a great big one in Plymouth that's awesome yeah but it's not just well here's my old license can you no it doesn't it doesn't work that way and I'm gonna have a particular problem because I'm a junior and when my dad passed away I after a few years I dropped the Junior because there was no need to yeah and my birth certificate for example is Junior yeah which you have to bring a certified birth certificate is Junior some of my other paper it does not say that oh yeah that's annoying so I don't I don't know if I'm going to be I don't I I don't know I'm I'm a little concerned you'll be fine they'll figure it out we have to deal with that situation because my son's the fifth the fifth y yeah you didn't know
