goodness I cannot shake this damn thing yeah I took the test folks I don't have the vid I just can't I was in a meeting Mari and I were in a training yesterday and I and I got a started to get a cough and I put a cough drop in in and it got even worse so I had to run out of the meeting and I stayed in the back of the room uh for a long time and at the end of the whole session the woman sitting next to me said you know oh it's so nice to meet you and blah blah blah and I said look at I just want to apologize for that for that coughing fit that I had and she said oh my gosh she said my wife I just got her out of the hospital she had pneumonia and a blood clot and and when I heard you I was I was hoping I was hoping it wasn't going to be you thank you very much yikes good good morning Maria good morning Danielle and hey Nate how are you this morning Wild Weekend in sports huh yep might as well like just like let's kick this off first off what's up Ryan's 10 pin eery we are going to be there starting today for uh a three-month engagement we're really looking forward to it that includes February vacation April vacation it's just going to get wild but we're doing dinner date nights okay so if looking to just grab some pub food get a little company in the season of when it's freezing and it's January 9 millionth we're over it we need to just get out um we had a great night last night at trivia and I think it was just people looking for company yeah looking for something to do and to get out of their house a little bit when I notice when it's cold there's no one on the roads like no one no it's a ghost town around here no and you go to these events and Madam Stephanie will hook you up yeah right so tonight is going to be Bobby and you Bobby's experience Bobby Bingo is definitely worth experiencing because he puts on a show yes he does already yesterday with the laser lights I'm like all right Bobby is that one one piece at a time it's gonna be a good time yeah Bobby is his own person he really is a fun guy too so I'm looking forward to that we've got some sort of fun thing that we're doing at Old places tomorrow uh so that should be interesting doing the morning show in a Canadian news agency that accidentally let fly a Super Bowl ad mhm and it was promoting Reba McIntyre Usher and post Malone as the musical group and it was also promoting 49ers and Ravens I mean could very well be okay could very well be 49ers and Ravens but did that Canadian news Outlet know it's a little it's a little premature okay is that gonna be the musical guests cuz I'm not mad about it but I don't know how that stage show would look exactly has anyone seen post Malone dance on stage I think I think reer and post Malone are pregame all right I think ushers the halftime okay and that and that man can dance yes he can yes he can but he hasn't had some new music in a while no he hasn't I don't really maybe he's busing out some new new music well see that's why he's safe for the Super Bowl he hasn't had a big hit in a while everybody remembers him we've got the transcripts of all the music we know what the words right right nobody's going to get offended cuz it's Usher he mom like well at least I pay enough money there I feel like I should have a plaque on the wall somewhere crying out loud PLA and all the like the the equipment and stuff yeah paid for by and they gave me my 400th consultation for getting my wisdom teeth out I've had my wisdom teeth out already I have extra teeth you have even though you've had your wisdom teeth out you still have extra yeah like a shark oh so I have two fully formed out wisdom teeth one on each side top and bottom that I have to I finally made the consultant yesterday so I might need you to like step it up in the morning show Department if I'm all like mangled with okay wisdom tooth things okay right yep like too old for this crap right no you're too old why why why would you even do it at this point that's how I feel about it but I mean I it doesn't impact your health negatively right having extra wisdom to I just feel like they need to go we'll see I've been putting it off forever so I'm going I'm going to go meet with the con the consultant guy mhm we'll see how much this costs I just got a message honest to God I just got a message from my doctor's office out of the blue I think you should probably come in one of those my you know you know the chart things where they send you I have no idea what this is about and thank you Bobby for noticing my funny he goes pla you made a funny I he didn't get it I didn't get it I missed it watch was ringing and it's like oh my God it's my doctor and and was Poe mari's gonna murder me oh my God sorry Mari you know you know she just bought some new knives wasn't that a show Wives with Knives something like that yeah there are so many great shows I was chatting with one of my friends Mary yesterday and she had said Prison wives it's a new show we're watching it my sister and I are like it doesn't get any lower than this Prison wives oh boy so then she was like well she's in the single category of not it's not desperation she's not needing someone but she's definitely in that single status where she's kind of like I would like company yeah to the point while watching this prison wiv show she thought maybe we could find a prison pen pel and then her sister texted her back have we no low which I love that she's the bad guy not me y I like you should probably listen to your sister I don't know what to say about that everybody everybody needs somebody yeah everybody does need somebody which is why we're doing single Sundays this Sunday at knockabout it's just like Cliff calls it a bitching Stitch but we're always going to do some sort of craft and we're going to bust out the Disco tent that we have it's an inflatable tent and we're going to do some sort of activity in there and just it's a single meet up it doesn't have to be for love maybe it's friendship maybe you're just going to meet a pile of girls um you just never know what's going to happen but it's a place to go and and have a conversation with like-minded singles because sometimes it does get lonely here on the cape and with the cold and with the way things are and the lack of light maybe we just might need a friend single Sundays are the last Sunday of every month at knockabout so we're going to start that one off early at 11 o' also we've got our speed dating event that is coming up over at Wicked I was running through the program it's a two-hour program uh I think it's gonna be fun uh we have 20 people signed up so far oh good so if you're looking to do little speed dating this is actually on Valentine's Day we're doing it over at Wicked Restaurant with your chance to win a beautiful dinner at vagio and also right that self as we're coming for the speed dating event very and then we've got a couple of other prizes as well so just get out there and have some fun and this is for entertainment purposes but you never know you might meet somebody and you're gonna have fun the program is good Mari said Hank you can't join you guys can sit at the bar and wait for Cari te to come on afterwards I think she's performing at 7 o'clock I don't know what anybody else has going on for their Valentine's Day I did see that the Cape Cod Times I think I have two subscriptions yeah oh how do you have two I don't know you signed up for one and then you didn't think you had I get irritated when I'm on Facebook and then I click and then there's the pay wall and I'm like this is stupid I shouldn't have to pay first off it's a dish rag second I don't need I don't mean to criticize but we don't they're not even you're not even on keepon anymore you know it's so sad because you remember I remember when that was a really substantial was a really good newspaper we don't consume news that way any longer I get it but I still would like to have people that live and work and breathe on Cape Cod writing articles and stories about what is happening here instead that would be nice instead of working in fall river right not there's anything wrong with Fall River but that's where they're headquartered now and then relying on third and fourth hand information from friends that call them and say hey you should probably do do a story on this yeah hey you should probably know about what's going on like that's too long to wait for us to find out what's happening on our arm right please and thank you right what's up Linda background check any single that today is the New Hampshire primary yay what does that even mean I I don't I don't know Joe Biden isn't on the ballot but and then it's down to Trump and Haley and she's not gonna win but there'll be this debate about we still 2024 why are we still here with the same people I don't know what it's because younger people don't want to deal with it we need somebody I I know I I referenced Jimmy Carter but when when rosin Carter died um many of the networks interviewed this author who wrote The Definitive uh biography of Jimmy Carter yeah so this is a professor haish thing I I don't recommend it to everybody but I started reading it and it's really well done but what struck me was what we need now is somebody to come out of nowhere like him sweet love you know who who knows what he's doing he was a governor and there's no one like him no and I know people like to dismiss not going to go too far on this Jimmy card oh he didn't do anything as a president did a lot after he was president when you read about all this stuff he did a lot of cool stuff when he was president that that we take that we just now take for that we now take for granted I had this conversation with Lil yesterday and she was like Mom I don't know where I stand politically and we're not going to get into this however I just said I feel like everyone is so divisive right now and just firmly entrenched in what they believe in and we're not going to change that I don't know where we go from here on that and that's kind of where where things are uh did you see on the way in by the way she got accepted to St Joe's no I did not so now now we're I think three three universities and uh colleges that we've been accepted to so is is is Westfield State still in the running it's still in there St Jose is much better I I don't know for that price point but they did give her a nice little scholarship there you go we don't know yeah it's crazy to me that my I have a senior in high school we're about to be into February even though we're on January 4th I in 87th and um she's really not leaning anywhere she's kind of like me now you guys have been to St Jo's right we have I do like St Joseph's a lot I think she would Thrive there yeah I don't know if she would Thrive at that price point bye have a great day y see you later babe The Wizard of Oz The Man Behind he's never on camera um I just I I'm very curious to see how this next few months plays out it's a tough call it really is and and you don't because any parents out there with seniors like really any of your kids I we used to have this firm trajectory right we start here we're going to go here we're going to do this whether it's you're going to go into the trades you're going to go into college you're going to go for this specific job and I feel like that's over the last five to 10 years too expensive for college yeah uh and they're are making strides our local Community College they're offering free over 25 I hear next year it's going to be free for instate residents um very exciting stuff on the in the world of that what's the tradeoff she lives here more and the trade-off is you don't the trade-off is you you you you don't expand your horizons it's it's you end up going to school in some cases with the same people you went to high school with yeah right and and now you're now you're in college and you really don't meet any any new people the the the thing about making the decision is it's hard to get a um a redo because it's so dang expensive right right you know you can't say after sophomore you you know what I don't want to do this oh mine mine did that was that was costly right yeah but but you're stuck with the bills already you're stuck you you you're stuck with the loans and you don't have a degree but you're paying the loans so you got to be sure that where you're going is where you where you want to go and where you're going to complete it thank you Professor Hank you're welcome Bobby says all I know is you often make up your mind in college and not before 100% oh yeah L 100% lots of times you know I was floundering in in junior college and then I went into the military and and was like nope this is what I'm going to do I mean I have a degree in English Lit not that I'm using it I speak there you go and every now and then you you have you have a witty quote sure there you go see but I mean I feel like that's just a degree that came from you know Shakespeare 19 you know whatever you just have to get the degree yeah and then figure out the extra classes and things that you want to do and I keep telling liie I'm like looked at LinkedIn I said look at LinkedIn and see the jobs that you might want and see the education that the people that have those jobs have and what job does she want so she doesn't know okay it's not really helpful I'm just trying to be a resource here as a mom that's I think that's what we do look at the companies you think might want look at the companies you think you might want to work for try that and and see and see who they're hiring well she's really she wants to be an entrepreneur okay so I said if that's something you want to do then let's let let's explore e for all let's talk to people that are into that right let's take business courses yeah for sure yeah yeah so I mean you you just try and direct them as best as you can and and my son is like firmly a math-m minded kid so I hope he's an actuary because that's like one of the best paying jobs in the but if l wants to be an an entrepreneur then going to 4C's and and taking business courses yeah makes sense yeah and and then if she wants to add finished to the degree later well then you know she can she can do that but you know it it it depends well Nate said and he's currently enrolled uh I got locked into a school because I just didn't get a chance to interact after a bad year at one of the community schools that I was at yeah and I kind of got stuck on this trajectory yeah and I mean you have to dig yourself out of it not everybody is yeah yeah she's an entrepreneur right right well there you go and then I don't know it's so hard I'm glad I'm glad I'm not back there at all but at least I knew what I wanted to do so yeah I always yeah you know it made it it made it somewhat easier for me my disappointment was I'm not disappointed I went to Boston University but I really was a BC guy and and and in Boston College just had a little dinky Communications program and of course Boston University was they had their school of public Communications that everybody in his brother went to and well you never would have interacted with Howard Stern never would have interacted with Howard Stern or or you know a lot of a lot of other people who are um who are Eric Jackson Eric in the evening yeah was a classmate so good you know so you know give a little plug for your Jazz show met a lot of people every Sunday morning from 7 to 11 classic Jazz we we're expanding the playlist a little we had I had a funny meme yesterday and I'm gonna send it to you we had a little Rod Stewart mocking your Jazz show but also it's funny all right we had a little W Stewart this morning yeah I mean Sunday morning um and it was it was it was good he you know and I'm going to try to introduce somebody who you know from another from another genre into the into the Jazz because a lot of people do American song book stuff um that you wouldn't that you wouldn't necessarily um you wouldn't necessarily think I'm I'm loving the the additions that you're adding so whenever I get your playlist I'm like oh that's good yeah I never heard this song before it's nice to hear different things I'm so sick of the same things and I don't know whether it's the industry that we're in but I've heard all of the songs I know all of the words right right and and the interesting thing about the Rod Stewart song um was that it was from an album he did with Jules Holland now Jules Holland might be a name that sounds familiar to some of you to some of us I think he had a show well he has a show we may have seen it on VH1 or or MTV or something yeah and he was the host and there were like four or five bands in the studio and there would just take turns playing and it would be a band you never heard of a band you never heard of Eric Clapton and a band you never heard of and he would jump in every now and then and like play the piano and I always thought oh isn't this cool you know the host gets to play Rockstar wrong the host is Rockstar right Jules Holland is one of the founders of squeeze yeah I mean so legit big time and and now he produces albums and and he has this this show and squeeze is tempted by a fruit of yes it is yeah so a lot of a lot of his song Love That Tune that was a good tune that was a good tune it was a good tune yeah they were a good band Bobby by the way went to BC he did he did Bobby he did uh Danielle said make sure to check the site uh to check the teachers out before signing up for classes well yeah you definitely have to work on PE everyone's style is different and you never know what you're G to get Lisa Z over at Forest East does an amazing job in their Communications Department we're going to be working with students once again wkkl I'm going to be going to wkkl and doing the morning show with them every other doing it today is National handwriting day it made me laugh because I wrote a note for my son and he honestly couldn't understand what I wrote and I write half cursive half regular writing and it's it's it just flows that way it's half and half always has been since I don't know fourth grade my mom had perfect penmanship of course she did that's how they were that's how they were you know the Palmer method that you'd see when you go into a class from that's how she wrote like just gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous yeah I'm like you I'm like right half and half you get what he get right that's why I love the screens now when you use your card or something and you got to sign your name I just go like that hell is what it looks like half the time anyway anyway exactly now Mariana does not know how to write cursive right that's what I'm saying they don't even teach them anymore well he didn't know how to read what I wrote mom you think I'm gonna read that I get I get on a daily basis roasted by those two all day every day I'm I'm being heckled and roasted by the little teens in my house please call it a residency at wkkl yes we have a residency at residency oh we're gonna be residents and uh Nate says he could still write cursive from his fifth grade teacher made him write it for the whole year I feel like they still need to know how to write the words what if one day all the computers go down and I'm not being a crazy Walking Dead theorist but it is a possib ility that we might have to actually right go back to times when we have to communicate with each other by writing things it might happen you can't text you can't send an email right no autocorrect no grammarly my daughter was talking about the latest hustle in which they're dealing with their papers and Bots and chat Bots and other things and I'm AO correct is terrible because it it it if you don't reread what you wrote after auto correct goes through it you could send out a totally different I sound crazy on a daily basis because I talk to text oh and I do it too fast and also we do have an accent even though we think we don't have an accent we do and so M sometimes I send some glorious doozies though I'll tell you Mari good time Mari does too like what happy birthday to mver 74 today yeah wow 74 happens to the best of us well it's just I can't I'm not yet I'm not there yet no you're not there yet no but I just can't he could fix anything with anything no matter what speaking of if anything went down kind of like your husband that's yeah he's he's a good mver actually I give him credit for it he likes puzzles so I know no patience no patience with puzzles honestly he like orders the most random things because he likes breaking codes or lock picks or it's it's either physical or mental he loves puzzles he picks locks I never told you this story no so he's like it's just a puzzle so he orders this lock picker set well one of our kids at the time gets his hands on it and goes to school with it and then up like oh no sirens and my I'm like seriously this is why you're not allowed to have these things because you think of it just like this but everybody else in the world that is like you are mark you're marked like a criminal what oh my goodness my high school he would be like a High School Janitor it would be perfect those guys you're right those guys could fix anything they could do anything absolutely you don't need an IT department you just need the janitor he'll fix that's right exactly including clean up vomit with sawdust right it's just amazing the most important I my my grammar school I'll lay the presentation grammar school the most important guy in the building was John the janitor He Walked on Water right I mean we had nuns and priest sing out of there but the guy was John right seriously you are the mcgyver of schools we appre salutes to you our High School Janitor whatever we needed whatever the nuns needed whatever it was it was would you go find John yeah right and he'd come up and he he he'd fix it or open it or or do whatever had to be had to be done he was a hero in our eyes mhm I agree there was just a comedian over at knockabout and he was the High School Janitor sold out yeah was like sold out weeks prior to and it was like such a great crowd apparently everybody said it was just a laugh because imagine the stuff they see they see all of the stuff oh yeah they see the underbelly of everyone's stuff teachers students right all of it John had his little office by Secrets by the furnace room so even when it was cold John's office was always I mean he wasn't dumb John's office was always warm exactly because it was right by the furnace and he oh my gosh that I haven't thought about JN in like a million years thank you custodians we appreciate you yes oh yeah we have to call them I I don't think you I don't think we could call him John the janitor any no no it would have to be John the custodian yeah what's up zy very much looking forward to your show coming to Lemon Ado once we figure out the logistics of all of that we are getting things done though can I fire them no you're not going to want to fire him you're going puzzle but it didn't it didn't end with a good ending of a puzzle it's stunk I'm still mad about it now I'm rewatching it to be more angry about it I don't understand why I'm here kind of like the end of the surprise I was like what oh I started watching young Sheldon maybe I'll go back I didn't love it didn't hit this is the last year for young Sheldon yeah that's if they have Junior High Sheldon yes um I I liked it I just watched a movie with her and it it was so bad yeah everybody's doing bad Netflix movies right now stop that right you're better than that and then don't need that payche another person from The Big Bang Theory she's the judge on Night Court oh okay the blonde the other blonde yeah she's the judge on Night Court I liked Night Court it was great I I loved oh Harry John larat John John L John larette is in this one I love him oh he's so funny who was the judge he was a magician and a comedian Harry help us Harry I can't remember his name it's not Harry neelson no he they called it the laugh supper three idiots out to dinner having a good time when I saw the photo I was like I didn't even know that they were friends or knew each other right I mean they knew Adam Sandler and David Spade but I didn't know Jim Carrey was allowed to be in the mix with those guys right I'm surprised Jim Carrey was was let out I know he's had a lot of bad press lately I don't know what's real but you never know what's real and what's not right and to be able to play the characters that he played you've got to be a little offc Center yeah I mean when you think about to be the Grinch to be um remember the movie The Mask yes we started the day off with Ace ventur with that M kick I've had like this Jim Carrey thing in the back of my brain for a while or the woman that has made a name for herself on Tik Tok C she looks like Jim Carrey yes a a lot of that's going on my brother just talking about that Buffalo kick one more time my brother sent me a um a clip last night of the Korean TV coverage of that Korean watch TV coverage and you don't have to you don't have to understand the language excuse me um thank you you don't have to understand the language just to hear them in Korean right call the kick it's fabulous I I I like the Korean language RTV great picture of the laugh supper Bill Burr was there too that is a laugh supper I I don't think I would have been able to eat anything or drink anything cuz I would have inhaled everything how does Bill bur fit in with those guys I don't well they're all comedians aren't you in a club don't you all hang out yeah but he doesn't seem to be the same I mean they're all of the same age I guess so yeah you know what I mean they're all in there I'm sure that they all at some point crossed in a club when they were making their bones and Y doing whatever that was or watching each other because you got to watch and grow from other people your age and and you never really know who's friends with who right right you know I mean you're standing up by yourself that's that's that's scary stuff impressive I know AJ's going to be doing a um a sort of teaching someone how to write your own comedy routine and then giving you an opportunity to do it really I really want to do it rtb you and I have been talking about this like the one standup thing even if it's like I I may have a good five minute routine but I've never had the gumption to get up in front of a group of people and do it and it's not fear of rejection I feel like it's fear of losing that that dream that desire to do it to realize to realize so like she just doesn't even give a damn right correct oh okay and it was rescheduled from the August show so we bought tickets for a weekend in August yeah we got a Tuesday in January oh very different yeah that's a fair trade but that's why everybody else was kind of upset about the situation because not only so we have to wait and it's an uncomfortable time of year in New England to be waiting mhm but now it's like a Tuesday right and now it's 10:30 at night right I know time and space does not matter to you because you're a Madonna but to everybody else it definitely does but if and and if you're local and you've done the right thing and you've taken public transportation in the last train out is 12:45 that's what Monday was and they said that the Ubers were costing over $100 eons by my brother my youngest brother not his birthday today it's my brother Jeff's birthday happy birthday Jeff um he subscribed to Sports Illustrated for years and years and years and saved saved them and when he got married and he and Linda were were moving into their new place Linda started going through things and saw these magazines and apparently she threw them out but she didn't tell him she got a touch with Sports Illustrated and she got back issues seriously seriously and then she told them so she threw them away in anger because whatever her suit Edition going through stuff you know just G to get rid of it all and then she realized what she had done yeah the collector's items and what she items although I mean is anybody really going to make money off of these things not anymore see but see but that's the thing back back then you know you'd save those magazines for the magazine covers because back then they were worth something yeah you know just like just like my folks bought um you know my mom had this huge hmel collection because that was because that was their investment everybody's Grandmother Had the Hummel collection because they were going to be worth something right and you know you know my mom passed away passed away five years ago they were work up you know worth a buck and a half I know it's like the Beanie Baby people have you ever collected did anything with the hopes that it would no just grow in value I just I can't whether it's currency whether it's coin collecting whether it's anybody collect anything that's worth anything no because nobody wants anything we are going back to minimalism I kind of like it right I mean when we were when we were downsizing from from our house to move to the move to the Villages I mean we had dishes and glasses and things that you know we offered to offered it to Meg we offered it to our nieces and nephews and I mean really good stuff yeah no they didn't want it Mary Jane says she collects Lion's gear and speaking of Madonna I know it's hard to tell with her British accent but she's actually from Detroit the Lions Danielle I collected rocks so right so no big for you you can collect Tom Brandy stuff what what I think is beautiful about bobor is that Bobby or signs everything yeah and any one individual autograph of Bobby or isn't worth a damn thing no no it's not but I like that though that's why he he made it that way right but also he connects with his fans so they feel like they have a piece of him and I think that's great Bobby or stuff might be valuable as you know he would death and years pass right and it depends on the item in which he's autographed we probably he's 75 now go up there I told you about the time the first time I met Bobby or no and he I was at a the um the rich club would do an event like every every couple of years to invite the local realtors in uh to kind of pump them up about selling stuff from the ridge club and this is when Bobby yor had actually bought into the ridge Club Ridge Club is in Sandwich it's a gated community golf course whatever and um it was going under and and Bobby or and a couple of other U people of significance bought in and they would do these events and Bobby or would come to the event and he'd you know autograph stuff the long story short is you go up and you meet Bobby or you go hi Bobby I'm Hank nice to meet you blah blah blah blah blah you have this conversation with him and then he goes to autograph whatever it is he doesn't ask you for your name again he remembers it that's pretty impressive and the thousands no doubt millions of people who he has met over the years years I was I would like it is impressive because that's my best skill is shaking someone's hand and I'm forgetting their name while I'm shaking their hand oh I do that too it was I was sitting with my girlfriend Julie this her name basically we asked the guy and she goes what's his name again I'm like I don't know just and he was like hi my name is John I was like I don't know I don't remember to the point where I had to go back in and I'm like hey what was what did you say her name was again well you have to you have to say hello John right you have to repeat it yeah absolutely may you have a shot maybe you have a shot I'm real bad I never forget a face I never forget the outfit that you wore when I met you or the place where I met you at 10 20 years later your name the worst thing as a server the worst thing as a server Mari tells me is when you go up to a table and you say hi I'm Mari and the people at the table say you know I'm Bob this is Jane yeah right generally speaking those people suck at tipping don't do that don't don't if if they tell you their names if they're friendly like that the tip is not going to be what it should when I was a server my little trick was I just put a little smiley face my name on the on the check when I gave it seemed to boost my tips I was a jovial person anyway so I did pretty well with the tips and I also worked in an overnight breakfast restaurant so every I gave myself their tips a lot like he doesn't know that guy can't even count right now it doesn't matter right just give me your wallet it was basically how it went there you go thanks very much thank you I'll see you next week because you're GNA do the same damn thing and not even remember Wonder credit card here give me a credit card put me through college he I'm telling you overnight breakfast restaurants right I saw a lot in adabo the breakfast place oh my gosh oh yes oh dear oh yes yep my favorite was when the town decided to stop having it was either smoking restaurants are nonsmoking restaurants and this one was a smoking restaurant yes it was so this guy Bobby Bobby would come in with Beth his wife both of them on oxygen tanks and just Huff butts the entire time like eating and like dropping cigarette Ash into their eggs and like eating and then and then eat their sausage and I I I was fascinated by it like zoo animals I couldn't tear myself away from it it was the best TV show I probably lost a decade of my life from secondhand smoke but it was so worth it it was so worth it and the problem with alboro making people decide whether they were smoking or non-smoking yeah was that they were the first yeah no other community around no one in re Island was doing it right and of course my father-in-law had had so if you chose smoking you could not have children under 21 in there it was the best of both worlds right right they could smoke their butts and no kids would bother them they were so happy for a solid five years that that lasted I think somewhere around there maybe even two yeah it wasn't long and then everybody did it and and then it was fine but oh yeah it's it's yeah I explained to my kids that that was just a regular thing even when I was in South Carolina where you just walk into McDonald's and there's ashray everywhere it's like God your arteries are just clogging as you're in here right now someone's eating a burger and smoking a butt they doctors used to smoke in hospitals used to smoke in the while shopping in clothing stores right like just what it's oh yeah it's wild to explain to them the times like this was actually a real thing yeah we actually actually did that yes we lived that and it wasn't that long but once again we we lived in the N we were born in the 1900s we born 1900s that's true God that's frightening when you put it that way isn't it though oh I know I know which is just wild times to me it really is speaking of the South I saw that they're not having one but two cicada situations this year really I think I'm not going to go visit my girlfriend this year Meredith I was going to come and visit you but I don't think I can this year too cic I like it's too noisy sorry they're just gross don't you remember when we had them on the cape yes I do it was raining bugs yep I was I I think I have a picture of me with my umbrella standing in my driveway and I'm just covered in cicas it covered yep well they wake up what every 14 years or something so great well this year I guess it's like the two the double right it's like an extra long one I guess there's hibernation periods of whatever okay so two hibernation periods of cicas are opening up in the South what are their purpose though in terms of God's plan if if you sleep for like 12 years God's plan wake up and then die yeah right I don't get it I don't get it have to ask about that one is it maybe maybe to deal with blight maybe they have to eat all the crops or regenerate something I mean there had to have been an original purpose for this nasty bug have no idea what they do I don't know I don't know either other than scar us good morning sudden I'm cooking science experiments in my brain and I wake up and I'm like what the flip like stop doing this can't you read can't you wake up at 3: in the morning and read why you got to make me all of a sudden wake up and I'm doing cooking science experiments and like very vivid dreams I like the picture of him with the mask though oh yeah he likes my new LED mask yeah it's got all different colors supposedly I don't notice my skin any any better but I use the red light makes the collagen boost apparently oh okay the blue one is for calming over for coming I don't I don't know does this work who knows seriously I hear a song coming cicas I don't know when they'll be on the cape but I'm not really looking forward to it you and I always since we've both been married since birth since forever um like to chat about some some dating things and here was a funny one that I came across said I don't marry a man until he can truly make these 10 promises to you okay so I figured we' go through these oh sure it comes the how come you don't you yep do here are 10 real and beautiful promises every man should make to his future wife okay I promise to stick by you through tough times okay I think that's kind of the yeah right now I mean how many tough times is there a limit I feel like we've done all of the tough times I promise to always make us a priority okay yep that's fair I promise I'll never let you forget how much I love you okay I could we could do better in that department yeah I promise I will not lose my identity lose my identity because you're still you is that like change your gender no it's merging into just your one we're just one person where cliff and I are very much independently ourselves yes to the point where we fight about it MH oh my and I are politics again but there's a a controversy up in New Hampshire that there was an AI generated alleged call from Joe Biden telling people not to vote today i' I'd vote for an AI president at this point Y sign me up for that chat GPT make us a new president thank you I don't like chat GPT because it it's it's too wordy and well you don't just use it cart blank no no no no no I know but I look at it and I say so now I've got to edit this thing yeah I could have wrote it right so why did I ask this for a suest sometimes people just need that prompt sometimes you just need a little of assistance to get the words out and that's really what that is supposed to be there for but you have to tell it what you want to begin with correct and then it gives you this junk that you've got to edit so you could just write it yourself if you knew a whole other thing yeah yeah oh my God Danielle yeah we talked about it last week the woman that poisoned her husband because she was catfished we 100% Hank and I talked about it in one of our crazy crimes the the older woman who thought the soap opera star right was was coming on to her right speaking of crazy crime got to give it a shout out to our favorite police blot log the sandwich police you got no no no soup never disappointing for me no soup for you an argument over soup got salty to the point that family members had to request police assistance officers did an good job of deescalate the situation and then referred to the family to the community resource officer for further Support also there was another DUI one that made me laugh not the duy portion but the guy said I don't want to get out of the car it's going to get me in trouble my friends told me it's going to get me in trouble and the police were like uh I don't know if your Facebook friends are the ones to tell you that you probably shouldn't drink and drive that's what gets you in trouble right but the argument overs what's the dumbest thing you've gotten in an argument about oh God fries um you had to be here last week go back to another the fries thing we watch our shows all the time you can subscribe to our YouTube channel and watch our shorts and our shows and and catch up with us whenever you would like to actually probably the fries I I can't think of a lot of dumb things we've argued over oh we argue over the dumbest thing yeah over who said house oh we did I feel like we did talk about it or we might have talked about it with with binoculars so the police went up and said why are you looking to this person's house with your binoculars and she said no I'm not looking in this person's house I'm looking in the house behind them oh because I had an affair with the guy who lived in the house behind I would just not want to be a police officer I would not want to talk to people like this just stand there and go what new levels of crazy right like we know it exists so we don't need to be intimately involved with watching new levels of crazy right and the well-being checks lots of well-being checks and a number of times when the police show up and the answer is no I didn't want to talk to them so I didn't answer the phone right no one answers the phone anymore if you could text a wellness call that would be great cuz we don't answer phones anymore now I didn't want to talk to my son I'm mad at him come or most of it spam anyway when you answer and someone's always trying to sell you something or it's a robot or somebody's offering you something and quite honestly the amount of scams that are out there it's not worth anybody picking up your phone at this point at least every now and then when a number comes up it will say scam likely right so so you can at least dump those you have to do the preemptive text hey I'm gonna call you about something do you have time and then you set up an appointment you set up an appointment to talk to people now this is how it works you just don't raw dog and FaceTime people you got to set up an appointment for that I'm going to call you in 10 minutes make sure you have clothes on and you're ready then I will FaceTime you thank you right that's how you do it or the or the ones that you get that say Hey your name is in my contact list I don't quite know how it cut there who are you never respond to that no okay good I was like heang don't don't do that I have to make sure that you're not doing that scam likely it's your car mechanic yeah facts absolute facts and make sure you have every phone number that you think is going to call in your contacts with a name to a conference and me marianao and I are tag in along I cannot wait get it done cannot wait to get there like a shot of warmth right a little bit of excitement right I was going I was cleaning out photos from my uh from my phone and I came across some photos when it was warm and we're all and we're all wearing shorts you remember that when it wearing shorts and I went oh isn't that nice oh so
