no phone calls in the morning what's going on yes like the day never ends right she just keeps going actually the day never ends if you were a member of Congress the day doesn't end oh yeah yes the uh Republican majority in Congress passed a resolution that said each day shall not constitute a calendar day so which means the day never ends thanks guys I G have to talk honest to God honest to God I have to talk to David Vieira about that situation tonight when he's at my annual dinner yes the day never ends because there are some things that are on the docket that have to be voted on by the end of a day oh when they're introduced so that was to buy themselves time to vote on them ah so they've just instead they voted that the day never ends that makes so much sense once again if only it were true right you know that that you know still today it's a calendar day right but you know you get busy and it's CTIC use a couple more hours or you're somewhere and you're having well that happened to me last night I fell asleep literally with my laptop on my stomach which apparently is bad for you oh no what it's a battery I don't the lithium battery yeah apparently it's not good for you okay that study okay or or or you're having a good time and you say God I wish this wouldn't end that's a rarity pretend you're me pretend you're a member of Congress the day doesn't end yeah I feel like that put together the videos tonight for my annual dinner excellent I know it like little moments of what we did this year very cool and uh moments for our citizen of the year and uh I hopefully they'll work of course they will just me with technology this week nothing has seemingly been working properly for me my my laptop came yesterday oh it came back it's all fixed it's all fixed in fact um with the write up they give you like a little summary of what they did yeah I I don't know what you don't know what they did is still my computer was like so basically I just got a new computer oh 99% of it was replaced even down to the screen I lost all my cute stickers on the back of my laptop I'm very sad about it but the stuff you had saved there is still there no there's nothing it is a new laptop so all the things you had saved on your laptop are gone yeah yeah I got to start all over again oh my goodness it's fine most of it's in the cloud anyway we operate in a much different fashion yeah but even so I mean I'm logged all into it I took all of Monday logging into the backup computer at least everything's fresh in my mind and I know most of the weird wony passwords exactly oh my goodness because I've been logging in and out of them from different browsers on the stupid thing every single day oh that'll be my weekend project I'll do that on Saturday at some point like I just can't run my brain around it right now just went through this this week and can't do it again I mean frustrated because we don't have any luck with printers yeah we bought a new printer a couple of months ago we have it up and running printers stink it constantly jams yep and it was not an inexpensive computer I mean a printer and it just jams and and we were able to use it and which meant we didn't have to go in the office all the time because we could print stuff we're not GNA complain the whole show I promise promise so we could print steu out before he met with clients without driving God forbid all the way to sandwich and it's like it's one little tiny piece of paper jammed and nobody can get it right that's what happened to me I inherited one of those when I took over at the chamber and I just ended up buying a new one because it was so aggravated yeah we recycled the old one oh well that's good yeah you can do that you know you got a a paper shredding event coming up yes a paper shredding event coming up on April 19th at the loads of it good at the um parking lot of Tedy real estate in Sandwich great white Shred with will be there bring all the stuff that you need to have shredded and they will shred it and it's really cool the the truck is really cool and and they they dump it in and you can watch everything get shredded and it's neat it's really fun so that's going to be make a little confetti out of it April 19th we're not sure of the time I found out last night we're not sure of the time but it's going to be either 10 to 12 or 12 to two or something but got even like little favors for people to take with them we' got comedy we've got uh Rachel you can meet our new mashby High School employee and uh I think we've got somebody singing the National Anthem who knew how difficult it would be to get somebody to sing the national anthem because nobody wants to get booed I mean one never knows how the crowd's going to respond to the national anthem I had no idea how what a daunting task it was given the fact that one of our board members an executive board member runs a music school that it would be so difficult to find a human you find someone I did I found someone speaking about the nation 99% sure okay speaking about the national anthem and booing I believe now that Canadians if they stay in this country more than 30 days are going to have to register somewhere can you imagine the impact that's going to have I don't think it's I don't think Canadians who come for the summer I think it's more like the this puff up situation oh yeah we're gonna do this oh yeah we're gonna do this think yeah I don't think anything's going to happen I feel like it's one of those guy fights that doesn't really fight in anything they're like children that's what I think of right now they're like children I'm gonna raise this tful I'm going to raise that ter I'm going to ra this you wish somebody's mother would just I'm waiting for it hopefully that's somebody has to have a mother out there God almighty we're not going to get into it but that's exactly what's happening kind of like turkey Mating Season that's happening on your lawn right now be careful Don't Go Near them you know how guys can be when they're puffed up puffed up Don't Go Near them it's not safe big story on the on the news this morning on I think pretty much all the news channels just stay leave away run away stay away from the turkeys don't interrupt you know you don't like to be never mind but I okay I mean no one likes to be interrupted but what's up Mari I don't have to worry about the turkeys bothering my yard right now because I have construction happening directly beside my house I left your house Tuesday morning yeah you don't take a right backed out went down the street went to take a right and no no no detour this road is closed and it's closed all day they working on that weird slope thing that goes down they're putting in drains over there which needs to happen just because that's such an area of flood and erosion all the time question so yeah they're finally doing something about it which I'm I'm happy about but also it's it's painful oh my God it it's painful uh well little things that we have to deal with it's fine yes it'll be fine hey and I might have asked this but why are all those trees knocked down on every time every day I get calls about it now at the chamber office no yeah yep I got two of those phone calls yesterday while I was sitting there what's happening on 151 you called the chamber for that okay right so those of you who aren't familiar when 15 sidewalk project which which is a state little State Highway here in here here in BBY they have knocked down half a forest but they're doing it for the for the sewer project they're doing it to still makes me a little bit sad to see all those trees on the side of the road I know but they they're stacked up for like what a half a mile yeah and if you didn't realize what they were doing You' drive by and go oh my god what have they what's happening and then I don't know every day on social media though what's happening right I think this is terrible they knocked down oh for that I know oh okay are they going to have a bicycle lane two calls yesterday yeah supposedly they are you see the folks who object to the trees being knocked down they also want to see a bicycle L it kind of fits with their motorer right look at you motus operandi big words today perfect uh our injured Tiger Woods is down for the count oh my goodness when when is it g to stop mattering like do we don't even expect him to play anymore like you played an F yeah Tiger's not gonna be at the BS he ruptured his Achilles he's lucky to walk right no Tiger's Tiger's got to realize that it's time to say okay I don't know why he hasn't I thought he did this already I thought he did too when he decided Well maybe I'll try to play the majors and now he can't even do that do you think he keeps breaking because he's on so much medication or do you think he expects his body to still do that I think both I think he still thinks he's 20 years old and he must be on so much medication for all I didn't I didn't realize till I was reading one of these stories about um is ailles yeah and they started taking off all the operations and procceed that he's had it's incredible that the man is walking around at all yeah that's that's an awful injury I can't even imagine both my parents had it happen to them within like six months of each other oh right that must have been lovely I don't deal with them anymore so they are other people's problems not mine love you both bye-bye hi Haley how are you Cindy says I want a bike lane I would love a bike lane that way my child would stop calling me we finally put Uber on his phone yesterday because I'm like I can't deal with you he starts driver ed this weekend oh good very license before his big sister oh 100% he might even have his license before she is done with this semester of college really I am thrilled well I was surprised again to walk in the you know the house on Tuesday because we were broadcasting from the home studio and I walk in and who is doing your makeup oh yeah right like what are you doing here and I she left half of it behind painful like did you clean she going to call her father and ask him probably can you mail it can you bring it to me and he would as we talked about before that's what dads do this is my shirt today my mommy my bro this is where I live right now my kids are something else right had a great conversation with somebody else they're like oh my God you only have one left at home I'm like I know but it's a lot a lot the two that we have left are very needy well our our one at home is Turing 13 yeah well good luck to you on that in a few weeks it's like yeah all of that's when the Assassin attitude becomes a thing oh it started already yeah yep moms and dad's got any tips out there to assist with a 13-year-old you know watch out we we've done this once already and and when I was discussing it with Megan I was texting with Megan and Megan said well the sandwich chamber great job she did putting it together watching her painstakingly put together that chery grazing table I was thoroughly impressed but Josh was over there pouring some beers and he's paid $900 to go see Kelly Clarkson in Vegas yeah she's not there well I mean she'll be there for that show she better be there for that show but nobody knows where she is in real life right now where is Kelly Clarkson fans go concerned over talk shows week long unexplained unexplained absence what's it's right here in the New York Post page six we want to know wow oh it's like Carmen San Diego yeah they don't know where she is no you got to give excuses if you're going to be out for a week Miss Thing yeah maybe she's loped yeah right no I don't think she's gonna try marry marriage again she's gonna take a break from that for quite some time she's good I saw the Girl Scouts are being sued for their Thin Mints apparently they have poisons in them I thought you going to say they were fattening no no poisons toxins really heavy metals great you know how many how many Thin Mints people have consumed over the years exactly this has been my problem the whole time too many Thin Mints that's the answer to the all my Metals between that and the Pea what's not killing us our forever Plastics so now we've got heavy metals and our Girl Scout cookies we are going back to where food is food and you can join us for the mashby farmers Market I think our count right now 43 vendors coming up already so this is pretty exciting I'm thrilled to have a nice start to this season we head to the select board in borne to bring the canal region Farmers Market to life next week vote Yes for us yep anybody in Bourne like to show up and support stuff might be a good idea I I'm having mushroom meetings I'm having egg meetings I'm having never in the world did I think I would be in this position right now no I bet not when you when you were sitting at 963 whatever spinning the hits think You' doing this you're a mushroom lady there she is the chicken lady I talked to um Dan DVA from D Silva farms and apparently they're adding pork to the menu this year really they're gonna be raising some pigs oh love pork right sorry pork we love fres pork very exciting so I'm looking forward to that he said he would love to have cows they just don't have enough space yeah and he has eggs too he has yes he does but you have to ask them right the second you get there right or they're gone the golden eggs right now everybody's looking for them and the the good stuff yeah and there's a difference between fresh eggs and the eggs you get in the store folks if you haven't if you haven't had both there's a difference yeah so Memorial Day is when our Farmers Market starts up uh next week is when we go before the select board to see if they say yes or no to our Canal region farmers market so so Canal region starts on memorial date when does Canal region doesn't start until late June okay so but Mash B starts Memorial Day weal Day weekend okay well we have one thing to do yes rtb says either she's sick or rehearsing for Vegas thank you very much the Kelly clarks's in update and he must know because he knows these things yes he does Mari says that's why they're so addicting heavy metals so poor girls I was up late watching um the John malali live show RTV how long has he been doing that I thought it was really it was good it was a live TV show that he's been hosting kind of like a late night show but it's at 10 pm oh on what CH uh it's on Hulu I think I found I just fell upon it when I no Netflix or something one of them I just opened it right up and uh it was good he was having guests on and one of the questions that they asked have you ever lent somebody money and received it back oh please and one of his like his sidekick there and I can't remember the comedian's name and you definitely know who he is he was like yeah I lent somebody 10 grand three times and I got it back one of the few but we never get we lend money to people with no you have to go in when and I agree with this and it was said that when you lend someone money you have to go in with this space that you're never getting it back no nope right nope my husband recently lent somebody 200 bucks and they return it really yeah within like 3 weeks wow that's R that's really R it is a rarity and it was unnecessary like we did not have any expectations of expecting this money back at any point in time but they needed it to get in through a pinch and they returned it so if you have to borrow money because you're short all the borrowed money is doing is attempting to make you even and then whatever the situation is that makes you short you're going to be short again well that's it this situation was a temporary situation now the situation has been rectified so I should have expected the money back but when you go to lend somebody something you never expect it unless it's like a 20 and then they'll get you next time you know if it's a situation like that but not 10 grand what's up roella next time you'll lend them 20 they'll buy your beer next time you see them yeah Richard what's his face I can't remember his last name he's his MC but yeah the show just started it it's really good check it out I enjoyed it I missed that late night talk show that's not political you just talk about stuff yeah exact right like regular life stuff like what we do here on this show uh rest in peace Tom cahir that was a shock yesterday yes it was went out for a jog and did not come home 72 could say goodbye to someone or plan to say goodbye to someone they just went right yeah I feel like it's almost I I think I would like to just go yeah but you know I don't want to knock down drag out sickness forever and do my goodbyes and my mulas I like to just go I would when you get older you occasionally think about these things and I would like to at least have an opportunity to siby yeah I just go to bed I do an Irish goodbye Mari does the Italian goodbye go to bed I'm sitting out in the car for a half an hour she has to say goodbye to everybody in the room even if she hasn't met them yet she has to say goodbye to the Portuguese party right there you never leave because you start you start one place you go around the room and then all of a sudden you get sucked back in for another round of it just gotta go Gotta cut it leave it's the only way you're getting out of things see and I want to leave when I'm when when I've seen and talk to the people I want to and if there's something to eat I've had something to eat I'm done yeah whether I've been there for an hour or three hours I'm done how do you leave a party and I want to go oh easy I walk out the door not your wife though forced to be there no no no no no no because she knows everybody at the party anyway and and I as do I but I choose to just exit stage left I'm good bye see you next time left my own party I know no it's real it's real real little bit of nepotism going on going to the pharmacy to pick up prescriptions see he's got to go all all the time one of us goes and we say do you have anything there because I'm going and and we've not reached that point in my relationship yet it's only my husband that has to go pick up his medications yeah sorry the is slowly picking up a bottle and another bottle and another bottle slow but slow but sure as the years continue on um I don't know what they're picking up and putting down next door but wow it's aggressive today yeah they they're really aggressive today well you know that's how people get out their aggression of their life I guess someone's going through something next door they must be must be very frustrated with something little bit of nepotism going on on American Idol apparently Brian Latrell from the Backstreet Boys his 22-year-old son is auditioning oh and they spent a lot of time on him so was he selected to go for I'm sure he was I'm sure it's gonna continue on it gets a lot of star power for them on TV yes I stopped watching American Idol I stopped watching all those reality shows a long time ago um Mari will watch the audition part yeah I I used to like the auditions I mean she she watched the the audition part for um the voice and then I think she kind of got away from it and now she's watching American Idol but it's the same thing yeah and then she'll get a she'll get a away she get bored of it yeah I'm watching 1923 right now I do not understand why the show evokes so much emotion in me but I'm so invested 1923 obsessed it's um Harrison Ford it's Helen mirin and it is the sequel to uh Yellowstone okay or no the prequel to Yellowstone it's where the Dutton family is fighting for their land in Minnesota well you're not well we know how you feel about Minnesota anyway they don't have that accent thank god oh the motans but they don't have the Minnesota ACC they don't have it it is way before the Minnesota accent was a Minnesota accent thing okay it was 1923 1923 okay so I for whatever reason I'm obsessed with it I'm obsessed with the characters I I feel emotionally invested in the show I watch it as if it was the history of my life and I don't know why I was going to say it has nothing to do with your life no not at all not nothing nothing about it it's just it's romance it's drama it's death it's real it's gritty there's just something about it sure sure that's your life of course I don't know what it is but I really I'm obsessed with it so and Helen mirin is really cool right that one and then um the writing on the new Kate Hudson show is really good the basketball show it's very funny I thought the first three episodes were like H it's it's quirky it's funny but then it gets really good so I suggest that one also yeah we're back to watching the old Perry Masons again okay on Pluto I mean the old Perry Masons really yes and and you do they stand up oh yeah yeah yeah but you look at various people and you go who who's that who does that and the the cast of people who were bit players yeah on the original original Perry Masons who came up to be the other night Paul Winfield was like was like a bit player that's kind of cool yeah Gavin McLoud was the bad guy in another one he didn't have any hair back then either never had it yeah but you see all these people and you say oh this is must to you know how they got their how they got their Stu Perry Mason the old Pluto is that the the network I don't even know is mar found it I'm I can't find anything there's too many apps there's too many things many I saw the new uh way to save your marriage it's a bathroom divorce separate bathrooms oh when we had our bathroom redone we got separate sinks yeah and it doesn't make any difference Mar's just she's spread out no matter what she's spread out no matter what it's all her real estate I I still don't have much think room you're just living in there no I would love to have a separate bathroom for my husband because he is just a in there all the time and B is just a slob just a slob stuff everywhere coffee cups with half of a coffee in them I dump it out every single day every single day I'll find it's it's add I know what it is but he leaves it literally everywhere all his stuff and then makes another cup when he come downstairs yes so I find quarter cups of coffee all over the house in every little crevice once again Easter is always at my house and it's not in a good fashion it's not it's brutal Greg Hiller romance's death what Greg Hiller you B your son oh right you haven't talked to Greg in a while we missed your face Greg still waiting for you to come out to karaoke you got refresh me on that one you don't remember Greg our social we got a Patty's party weekend and Friday night we'll be at dos we got uh karaoke we've got um an Irish jig off which I'm looking forward to could could you have thought of a better phrase than jig off we're jigging it off oh Steph sometimes we've got a great turnout on Friday night you never know what's gonna happen chig it off all over the place wear your green win a prize Saturday and we'll be back in a minute oh my God his illegitimate father that has hair so I want to test love you Greg um yeah so we've got that going on on Friday and then all weekend long we're at knockabout we've got the Canali School of dancers if you've not seen them this season I definitely s just to come and see them the girls are really stepped up their game they're they're fabulous from little teeny tiny dancers all the way up to the big hair big competition going overseas to win things Irish dancers and and with all due respect to Irish dancers and Irish dancing school these these kids are different this isn't the oh God clickity clickity clickity clickity click they're excellent yeah they're really good they're really good and there's nothing wrong with the clickity clickity click and all that other stuff but totally different Colleen invests in these girls as far as their education um their athleticism yeah their hair always closer to God right I learned that when I was in South Carolina when I had this woman who I had to help her close her door because she had these crazy nails and her hair was to the sky and I looked at her and I was like oh oh she's like the higher to God I am this is why and I'm like okay okay girl I loved it but that was a very Southern moment for me the higher the hair the closer to God that's what they're doing over there more hair comments I'm offended sorry Greg we'll have a a bald day for you one of one of these days so yeah the bathroom divorce I also saw this morning that chewing on wood for five minutes improves your memory no I'm serious I'm going to pull up the story I don't understand where came from but chewing on wood for five minutes May improve your memory it says your brain and your jaw may have a closer relationship than you think we've long suped that chewing ex affects brain function okay this is from South South Korea so take from it what you will okay not North Korea South Korea no South Korea chewing moderately hard materials elevates your brain's antioxidant level such as gsh potentially influencing cognitive function so yes in fact chewing on wood makes your memory better okay grab that toothpick right maybe those weirdos with the toothpick in their mouth right they've been on to something the whole time maybe they maybe they yeah because those weirdos always seem to know stuff and yesterday for taper lless dripless candles at Ikea at IKEA yeah Mariana likes to go to IKEA because they have a huge collection of stuffed animals she she tricked me into going to Ikea I thought she was just curious about it because she likes to build stuff and but no we didn't really look at any furniture we went right to the stuffed animals and oh well Wes says good morning and for the food yeah right I'll be tagging those trees today keep us updated as to where they go I would like to know the Journey of the trees that are on one 51 laying about yes what happens to them are they put to good use right also Kelly says the wellness committee for the sandwich school is having a wellness fair today four to seven sandwich middle school for families maybe that's what you're going to no no it's tonight it's tonight it's someone's having a party somewh oh not my party no no someone's having a I don't know it's on my calendar I will let you know on Friday I think I have a show I can't keep track of the days at this point but I my like my regular job work that's been stacking up this week I need to attack that today at some point I don't know when and between my decorating um and and getting ready for this event tonight okay here's a question which is your regular job the the business that I own oh okay that one lemono yes correct our podcasting uh business especially I've got like seven things I need to edit in the queue I'm like I'll I'll do that tonight literally fell asleep last night with my hands on my laptop my backup laptop because it's slower my workflow is interrupted this week everything's off full moon tonight the blood moon the sunrise was beautiful toight yes it was and it's a lunar eclipse tonight I believe great from like 1 to 3:30 or something so I'm blaming everything on the eclipse yep and the sunrise was gorgeous this morning I almost stopped to to take a picture when I was leaving The Villages seeing the the through the trees it was like wow this is stunning yeah Kelly you never have to ask if you can post on our events page that events page is exactly what it's there for events on Cape Cod we've got over 10,000 people and you can post about your event regardless as long as it's an event right duct cleaning is not an event Landscaping is not an event your Restaurant's menu is not an event unless you're doing some live event break I go to the events on Cap Cod awesome and I talk about some of the St stuff that's coming up perfect yep yeah because you know sometimes we get tunnel vision in our own little space and we're stuck here doing our own events lemon Ado has four million events and if you ever need something to do check there first obviously but events on Cape Cod it's everywhere so if you find yourself in
