what saraphina and I were in a entrepreneurial book club where Stephanie never read the right book and Stephanie was terrible at this book I really Su at book CL I did not fabulous I'm what I just had glad that uh my husband bribed my son to shovel up the driveway yesterday while it was warming I was gonna say it was shoveled yeah that was a bribe oh okay how and how did he bribe him cash oh okay that always works oh yeah I was texted yesterday while uh I I ran out to do some errands and then I ended up in provinc town but again how do I make money fast oh what okay what does he need money for to buy some stupid online stuff oh okay you know that part of when you have a child and they love to take your actual dollars and trade them in for fake virtual dollars that get them no things that get them fake things right it's magical in my house is called hey papa yeah hey papa would you mind could I love it yep we love that for us how is your school vacation going everybody what's up Nate thanks for joining us on the show hiari Junior I hope you're doing very well need to come see you over at captains I think uh by the end of this week it is going to be a necessary thing that one of those fabulous beverages that you're concocting is going to be ingested by me it's been a long week already and it's only Tuesday Tuesday how can be yeah well school vacation yesterday it's only Tuesday well yesterday I had to hurry up and get my daughter out to her last pedi pediatrician um appointment before because she's turning 18 okay I mean they don't throw you out they'll let you keep around until you're 21 but now you're really in charge of your healthare right which is a little terrifying and I imagine it gets a little uncomfortable when you're 181 19 and you're in the waiting room with mommies and little kids and stuff yeah yeah well yeah there's that also but my favorite but we're leaving the house and she's like Alexa Place slipping through my fingers Abba and so that's playing in the background and I'm like oh my God you're so ridiculous well she's not slipping through my fingers because we went to the pediatrician and there was no one to be there they weren't even open her appointments March 11th why did she think it was yesterday well she got a text message I said did you not read the whole text message I don't know if she's going to make it in college oh she got one of those reminder text messages and thought Oh must be for Monday must be tomorrow okay what's up Dave being retired every day is vacation probably like one of those you sure you fill out all these forms before you come messages it just made me laugh that so here I was driving all the way to Falmouth before I drove all the way to provinc toown yesterday so you put some miles on the Stephany mobile oh my God the Stephanie mobile needs needs um some some TLC right now Cliff ripped the door handle off and how did you do that it was frozen well I suppose there's one way to open it ripped it right off what the hell could you us a blow torch to can't even have nice EGS but he opened the door right yes he got the door open wonderful then then who could ask for anything more now I have to open it from the inside it's great okay it's awesome love that well don't you know somebody at Kia you could get that fixed yes I have an appointment already okay okay very good it just needs to happen I'm just so irritated it's one of those minor inconveniences until I get it dealt with and you know me always going in 47 directions correct so having the moment to stop down and have this dealt with because I feel as if it was unnecessary well but you wanted the door open I don't know maybe it was just his brute strength I have no idea well there you go it's that Australian diet powder he's been oh yeah right the man Shake is he still doing that no no I started with the lady Shake oh okay I I'll let you know I had one of them yesterday it's not good no they're disgusting yeah they really are not I saw in I I saw a piece in the news this morning that it is more difficult for men to lose weight by exercise than it is for women so we have an excuse you already just lose weight you just decide that I'm going to lose 10 pounds and you just do you're like I'll stop having this and then I'll just lose weight right I'll stop eating Donuts yeah that's not the way it is for women it's just not not g to complain about it really haven't set my sights on it and I know what I need to do I'm just not doing you're still going to the gym yes no yeah I'll be there today that's then who can ask for anything more and I do like lift weights so that's good I'm keeping my bone health at least they're deeply protected oh good what's up Robert thanks for joining us on the show this morning yeah so school vacation make is off to a stellar start at least I got my driveway shoveled we went to BJs we did all like check boxes of all the things I had to do Feed the Children all right got all of the snacks so you're all stocked up for school vacation week yeah but we've we've locked them up who the children or the food the food not the children the children are free to move about the cabining but we did have to lock up the food because on our way we walked in the door and all of a sudden I look and my son got this giant BJ siiz box of Nutty Buddies and a whole paw of them a stack of them was missing and all of the beverages my children are like they drink like their diabetics I don't know what they do with all they're not we've all been checked everybody's healthy but they drink like they are and like if it's around they can't help themselves like if there's a case of soda my son will rifle through it in a day really so I have to meter it yeah a couple out a couple oh yeah so basically he pulled the this house is a prison last night at midnight cuz I need things I'm so thirsty I'm like water dude right right you're probably thirsty from all the other stuff you've been drinking drink water please so I'm I'm I'm gonna end I'm gonna cap it on complaining about kids because I know every mom and dad is out there also having a week right but I do enjoy having them around they're they are funny Lily and I had a really nice dinner together last night just going over life and choices and what you go out we were out we were on our way back from provinc toown oh okay so broke up the trip a little bit especially like you know driving in the dark I don't like doing it anymore right Nate I tried less sugar in my diet eating more clean it helps me feel better and work out better absolutely what's up Michael Anthony how are you hey Michael Anthony we we dropped your name yesterday excellent someone was um looking for a ride to Boston and they and someone responded with your name hey Stephanie who's the guy that you use oh and then Mari jumped in and perfect and put Michael Anthony's name I love this little web weave weaved yes somebody's watching something somewhere which I appreciate right between you Emily is also fabulous she has joined the team here at lemon Ado and she's spoton with making sure that everybody gets answered so I'm thankful for that oh good uh making sure that our events are updated and we just got a lot moving uh so follow us events on cape.com does she answer all the people who talk to you on Facebook Messenger The Crazies The Crazies because I have access to Facebook Messenger now and sometimes I'll read stuff and I'll go oh I feel like that is social media in general yeah inboxes of weird stuff guys hitting on girls guy like shooting your shot and you're right there in your DMs right it's just real weird yeah yeah I just I feel like people feel comfortable because they're behind a computer and not in real life but it still has your face there like we know your name we know your face or do we is it a catfish situation but this online stuff is not working for dating anymore you sent me the article and I appreciated that we're spoton with our speed dating events we've got another one coming up and this one is going to be a 55 plus event we will give you details shortly also um I believe the Wednesday before Patty's Day I think we're going to be over at Wicked once again and that was just a singles mingle it's not a speed dating situation it's not an uncomfortable thing you're single you want to hang out you want to feel comfortable in an area where there are a bunch of other people and activities going on and if you need somebody to walk to your car you don't feel comfortable we're there for you so it's nice it's like chaperoned events right just just ask for Cliff he rips doors off of cars He Man they man he'll walk you out this guy unbelievable some guys and girls get a little too confident shooting shots online I agree yeah yeah and Michael Anthony yeah absolutely go talk to Cody about his sugar intake he could lose a Little's up Crystal um Michael Anthony knows a little something about sugar intake I hope you're doing very well I'm very excited to see your new whip I'm very excited for youh things are happening and you really are the king of self marketing I I love your buddy he's good he really is and the new car is gorgeous is it oh he brought up by first us to see Mari wasn't there but I went out to see it it's gorgeous it's bigger than the last one it's it's just it's and he's got snacks and water and soda and maybe you could just stick your kids in the car and I could just go with Michael Anthony he's got snacks water and soda and just have them drive them around for a little while DJ's on the way I'm telling you no but the car is gorgeous gorgeous we'll we'll uh we'll have to book you already for June I got to give you my June dates because uh we have finally um got the tickets for for Lil's graduation gift MH and uh we're working on our itinerary right now you're going to Europe somewhere we are yep we'll do that in June I'm excited for her and uh my mother-in-law is Gonna Come really really really I'm happy for it oh really well cliff and I have to stay in the city we have an actual work conference we're going to oh okay and so they're going to stay in the country because they don't need to have the expense of being where they are listen to this folks a work conference in Europe right on the on the liffy river I'm very excited the convention center in Dublin wow uhuh life sucks for Stephanie in the morning hey i a where conference to go to in Europe well we're very excited about our art but but the whole thing is a write-off it is it is right but there is a lot of technology to learn it stresses me out when there right uh the first time I was ever involved in one of these it was so stressful and I felt like I was taking notes and I'm like speaking another language but we've met a community of people within um this this working environment so it's really nice to be able to call them now and I'm like I just don't get this I don't get the software I don't get this I don't get how it works and people are fabulous to be able to help us and now we've got the the the European fam yeah which is uh it's just really cool it really is it's a different it's a different life it's different work March 1st Employee Appreciation Day just throwing that out there to you employers great little breakfast Spa off the Luffy River been there well let me know Louie I would appreciate that can I sneak in your luggage as long as you bring the baby thank you very much she's lemon Ado's new mascot her name is Savannah I love her to death she is the happiest little gem of a baby we we get her once a week I love it I just didn't have a chance to play with her yesterday because of my daughter's fictitious appointment I can't I don't know what's up Sam we had inspiration is everywhere and uh did you guys get to your thousand point on Sunday I know they were collecting money doing meals for our um in between homes people and collecting coats scarves definitely needed today it is a cold one out there as you're getting out there no it is it was surpris but it's going to warm up as the week goes on yeah it has to I saw that January is the number one month for deaths followed by February and March I'm like so we're we're in death town right now I wonder why that is and December is the 4th just in case you were wondering oh the joyous time of year I maybe that's what it is maybe you're like okay it's over now people just can't take it yeah but that's really kind of tough though I mean think about how many not to be depressing think about how many families like come into the holidays and it's like oh this is when my grandma Auntie so and so passed away that's kind of that's kind of tough yeah that is wow just be aware of that everyone as you're enjoying your ski trips today although you did bring me joy you could be going to someone's wake you could be worse you did bring me joy today when you're like it's 40 degrees in Orlando or wherever it was and I was like yeah yeah we'll we'll we'll be in Orlando at the end of the week hopefully it's going to be a little warmer for you hopefully but that's okay we'll we'll we'll we'll be okay we'll survive I hope it gets warmer we'll survive well right now it's 24 in Mash p boys and girls yeah I'm not loving that right now today is love your pet day so it's 45 in Orlando now get snuggling up with your furry friends I love the photos keep them coming you can drop them on Stephanie in the morning's Facebook page uh We've got over 70 pets up there right now and it just makes my heart happy to see little furballs it's better than mine upstairs which I tell her every single day it's okay to go God we thought we thought one of ours was was dying last night why well the little one had a furball but it was like what's that who's that who's making that noise you know they determined it wasn't me so then they kind of figured out where is it and oh my God and you wish you could help them yeah you know because you can't Pat them on the back they're a cat right you can't say on you'll be okay you'll be okay you know and it's just and it was awful and then she went downstairs which which is apparently she has a quarter down there she throws up or something I guess and she appeared later and seemed fine good morning everyone you loves this pet that's the little one that's hiie that's the one who was so small when we got her she sat on my shoulder can you hear the sweetness in his voice talking about the cats and I don't like cats folks except this one I don't know took a shining to me for some reason and I don't know but what's up Justin thanks for joining us sorry Danielle I know it's cold it'll be warmer it's just wanting you to feel like you're back in New England and Rebecca thank you for joining us on the show I appreciate it yeah um it's love your pet day and we're looking at all of them it's very cute I feel like you just said a dad statement of all dad statement what I didn't want the pet I didn't even like the pet I didn't whatever and then it's that photo of you guys besties right you just accepted this and now you're the one I wanted a dog but we got the we got you know the kids instead and that's fine I feel like animals and babies also gravitate towards the people that they don't want like oh you don't like me I'm gonna extra rub myself on you right oh you don't want me around I'm gonna be here because I just know that is true with cats we have friends who come to visit us and they don't like yeah and right over it's a moth to a flame they can't help it they can't help it no what do you mean you don't like me seriously y what's going on you're you're packed you ready to go are you we're starting to pack yeah we're starting to pack are you one of those super Travelers that's just like ready to go and everything's I'm last minute I'm last minute out on the way out the door shoving stuff in bags that I forgot actually I'm behind packing my dad when my folks would travel my dad would be packed 10 days before they were leaving can't do it he was just you know but we're not I mean I know what I'm wearing I got it all stacked up and and and we've got those new suitcases that you see advertised on um social media you know the ones where you where you take the thing out and have you seen those no that that has the thing you hang up and it has all the little sections no take video squish it squish it oh it's all over I just talked about it it's GNA show up on you on your Facebook yeah right just wait um yeah right you set it in front of all of my devices it's now going to be marketed to me it'll show up it'll show up but it's really it's really cool and it's a seems to be a good way to pack we've used it once already but yeah Danielle says I have to pack the day or night before Rebecca same thing day or night before because I do I'll forget stuff yeah no Mari does too but not because um she can forget stuff um if she packs too early she takes too much because then she's last minute oh maybe I need another pair of and I drive my husband insane before we leave for a trip because I go room to room not only do I clean it I'm like trash cans making sure this is clean laundering everything because I love coming home to a house that's clean there's nothing worse than coming home and something's gross in the fridge or something's nasty in the trash or you forgot the this or right I like to excavate on my way out the door and as we leave and he's like oh my God everybody's in the car with the keys on and I'm always rushed right on the way out because they're irritated that I'm not ready to go yeah no we have we we usually have somebody come to stay um even in the Villages where we live now um to stay with the animals yeah um she's a vet so if you're looking for a vet I can recommend a great F oh that's nice yeah yeah she she's the daughter of one of my golf my golfing buddy Paul yep his daughter Dr Stephanie Esmond yeah um so she comes and she stays and the cats love her I mean she's a she's a vet she's got a nice way about her and they haven't seen her in um a medical capacity a medical capacity for vocation she's just their pal who comes and hangs out when they're when the when the big humans leave this nice person comes and loves animals and all of that and so but someday they're going to see her in the medical capacity I don't know how they're going to respond to they're goingon to remember that I think that that's why we do so well with Doc Newman doc Newman vet Pet Pals if you're looking for a locost Veterinary Clinic he is fabulous I think he's now two days a week and you can find vet Pet Pals on Facebook discounted medications and it's a smaller fee I like going to see him because he's at a different place and it doesn't smell like the veterinarian oh so it doesn't alert our animals to immediate danger right they walk in the door and yep exactly Justin you should scooter luggage bag so you don't have to walk I've seen everybody bopping around on the airports with those things they look so fun yeah they do Mari said and of course we'll get to the airport 5 hours before our flight you're one of those I'm one of those although we're flying out at 5:30 in the morning I I those are the best flights because they're not late yeah well it wasn't supposed to be 5:30 it's supposed to be more like seven and then Southwest changed the flight to to to 5:30 so that's a little early even for me um so we're gonna be in Orlando at like quarter or nine so we're we're hoping the hotel um has early checkin really early checkin most of those hotels though will take your baggage and at least let you sit by the pool and be fine I don't know about 45 degrees of a pool but yeah hope it's a little warmer for oh this is a this is a really cool um Hotel it's the um it's the Gaylord by Marriott and he's already shown me videos of it I had to sit there and watch how great it was nothing worse than bragging about your vacation person that's not warm and hey look mari's going to a conference yeah just like you taking the kids to Europe I mean it's the same thing it's work guys it's got to be done it's work it's got to be done and might as well take Mariana what the heck we got the room and the place has a enclosed water park and everything and why not most romantic hotel in Massachusetts chanon bars in yeah not a surprise there oh gosh no it's lovely we've stayed a couple of times I really do enjoy it those were work events I wouldn't be able to get into that price range on my own oh what I'm working here you'll put me up oh okay okay thank you we say yes to that hey honey we got a room of the chat Mar I know I just got the email for their Easter brunch and also Mother's Day which fill up yeah real fast good for them right I love that group over there they're wonderful people yep one of our favorite places old yth in is having an Easter brunch as well oh everyone get ready for your Easter brunches I specifically planned my oral surgery around Easter so I wouldn't eat so much is that wrong no that's probably very strategic actually no I I also had a few extra days off in that schedule that I like P pulled myself off of the schedule just to give myself ample time to recover I don't know what my face is going to look like I don't know if I'm going to be able to talk I don't know what's gonna happen I just know that I've planned for it you don't need to be seeing all of my glory here all bruised up and swollen or maybe you do maybe you'd love it because that's the sick society in which we live in that's correct um Danielle says nice and warm inside the Gaylord you'll be fine yes oh yeah can't wait to go she said it's gorgeous they went there on Christmas Eve you're gonna love it thank you I years ago I stayed at the Gaylord in um in in Tennessee yeah and it was this is a thousand years ago and it was gorgeous look at him doesn't he look great for a thousand years old what's what's up Nathan the only vacation I'll be taking is in the mountains of New Hampshire in the summer well uh Lauren good morning and that's okay New Hampshire's cool in the summer yeah I mean literally it's cool it's cooler than it is you know any place else and I like it anywhere in New England is exciting and it's nice that we've got multiple States just an hour or two away from us right yep yep it's a good way to Vacation yep get up into Lincoln New Hampshire and everything it's it's just gorgeous up there we get the mountains in the lakes and then wherever you want to decide to go it's a little bit different of a topography to visit right you feel like you're further away than you are right and go and go looking for moose I there were moose tours up in um where we stayed stayed again a couple years ago up in um up in Lincoln we've talked about this want to see real know you want to see a real live moose it's my thing I want to see one in the Wilds I've never seen one in the Wilds I go hunting all the time they elude me anytime they're like oh there's tons of moose here and I'm like yes never no they hide from me they do not want to be seen by me it makes me very sad somebody posted a video of one jumping on a ski slope oh jeez and skiing down with people that had to have been a freaky sight the monstrosity of it all they're huge sliding down the mountain along with the skier is like oh these guys look like they're having fun I'll just jump in you have no you have no idea how big they are they're just they're they're immense immense you have a family camp in Jefferson oh that's nice nice quiet mountains reset absolutely yep perfect for you I'm a little bit jealous a and the second most romantic restaurant in Massachusetts is the Ocean House not that anyone would know because you can't get a reservation well I've I've never been fun fact in case anybody wants to take me I've never been I know don't all jump in at once right right between the cost because the summer it's just redonkulous did okay you can't get in you can't get in don't don't even bother trying to make a reservation for July because they're already filled up speaking of reservations apparently um you they're entertaining a fee to visit Hawaii what $25 visitation fee to do what to go to Hawaii and they're just tacking it out the whole the state and then and and then they're going to do what with it I don't know I don't know if they're using it for repair and Recovery I don't know if they're using it for I don't know um that seems strange right yeah yeah a visitation fee that doesn't seem friendly well um if it works for them I feel I will put that in the suggestion box for Cape Cod $25 fee come over the bridge 25 bucks maybe they'll get all of this construction work done faster I don't know what's going to happen in the spring I'm already a little nervous about it between the bridge and the sewage and the all of the stuff that's going on but did but didn't we see in the in the paper this morning that um the money for the sewers have been cut yep Cape yeah loss this is from the Cape Cod Times to give appropriate credit loss of momentum Cape dedicated sewer project funds fall short whoever this group is that's in charge of these things has voted to reduce sub ities from 25% to 12% well that's going to encourage things are we having a sewage fundraiser you could come up with some interesting slogans couldn't you there's so many things my mind is spinning you know how I love planting a good party Hank yeah I know what are we gonna do for this this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle themed please say yes yes please yes I would love it oh yeah let me know the planning committee anybody else looking for fundraising I want to be in on those chats I want to be involved in planning some parties and fundraisers please thank you we got a fundraiser going on Cabin Fever is happening and you're definitely going to be feeling it March 2nd how how are tickets going uh we have probably 30 left wow so grab them um all of the proceeds are going to Habitat for Humanity so publisher um the publisher of his books really is is based out of Amsterdam half the year half the year on Cape Cod half the year in Amsterdam oh so he gets to go to it is a work related trip a business trip absolutely wow him and Jennifer are enjoying it another Cap Cod couple happened to be there when they were there really the Portuguese restaurant that they dined at looked fabulous uh very very excited to be visiting Amsterdam and I wouldn't think of Amsterdam and Portuguese food at a pub in Amsterdam a quick hello Hank and Stephanie from the Murphy's hey guys I'm telling you we're worldwide between our African uh podcasts yes uh they're in Tanzania right now by the way Jenny and Mary are um hanging out with the Messi tribe and uh yeah this is the third leg of their tour I think they're visiting six countries altoe really so upload speeds are slow so if you're waiting for new content you might have to wait just a little bit longer right it's going to be a while before we flush all of this out purposefully right now we're kind of just doing check-in and where in the world is Jenny wheeler at this point and Mary's doing a really great job of making sure I know where uh with the limited connectivity that we do have so I do appreciate her very much but you know we assume that that every place in the world has the same kind of con connectivity that we do yeah right and not everybody does like Africa you know it's kind of like northern Maine it's it's just not it's just not what have here and we just assume that that everybody problems the same thing that we do no I know no I know but you're talking about you know the uploads are kind of slow well it's because they don't have what we have I would like to talk about meline Ashton good morning rtb thanks for joining us on the show I'm super jealous of all of you guys in your travels this week uh I got to look into fundraising yes you do Lauren you've got an uphill battle over there but it's for good and you're you're crushing in it I'm really proud of the way you've handled a little bit of um uncomfortableness when you start a new business and all of the things that go along with it I really feel like you're crushing it on the daily we love you and appreciate you and all of the things that you bring to the table love o places definitely go visit them in Buzzard's Bay yes and uh support her Mission over there um just having a fun little Studio that you can be a part of if you're looking for I don't know someone to have lunch with maybe have a little bit of company right I think we are struggling with that when we were talking about our speed dating events when we were talking about our singles mixers when we're talking about places for people to go that's just a place where you get to be around people and not be alone I think this time of year is definitely a killer while we're doing Cabin Fever exactly it's like get out feel like you're part of something because your natural inclination is to hibernate right it's too cold although the the Sun is going to start to Sunset is going to be getting later and later now it is exciting to wake up and with the sun now it's getting a little bit lighter earlier it's G to be all ripped from us soon when we have daylight savings time I thought we we voted against that what happened I don't know what's going on like lots of stuff it just kind of went away I don't know what is going on and who is in charge of that within our government but can we push that a little bit forward maybe we need to get John Oliver on the horn could be John Oliver has offered Thomas a million dollars in a luxury RV to leave Congress I saw that no no no Supreme Court Supreme Court rather Supreme Court I saw that that's great that's great on the other hand George Santos is suing Jimmy Kimmel what is going on you know when I first saw that I thought okay he's Su I don't know I think Jimmy Kimel may have stepped in it because Jimmy Kimel I don't know if he encouraged George Santos to do those Cameo videos but Jimmy Kimmel through various aliases sent in 14 different things I'm sorry I it doesn't even matter you paid for the Cameo you paid for it right but then but then he turned around and he made a bid out of it that he showed on the show yeah what would George say and it's all these like embarrassing things so there's grounds there for I don't think so I think it's one of those things where you paid for a cameo you're paying for a personal whatever how you chop up is really up to you I mean is it slanderous it's I mean I haven't seen any of them I don't stay awake long enough George Santos and be himself he said enough about himself that's true he's been the the butt of many many a Saturday Night Live joke oh yeah skit and or otherwise so yeah but I don't think Jimmy should have done that but oh well it's all in good fun Hank I feel like he's disgraced already is it because he wants a little bit of money it's going to drag on forever like this Hull and oats case that we won't even hear anything about for the next full year now darl Hall is out on tour on his own yeah no JN o no well why would they I mean they got a court date pending I'm sure got restraining order on them oh probably probably no it's just and none of them are kids anymore no I mean that's the that's the thing John travol to turn 70 this week I think Daryl Hall is 705 or 70 my brain around that I feel like I'm frozen in time I feel like everybody gets to this place where you're Frozen right and you don't think of yourself any older than that right oh yes I know nobody else is older than that so when I think of these Rock these aged rock stars I think of them in they're like 1970s and 80s album covers and they didn't get any older than that no I mean I have an age in my head as to what I am and it's not what I really am trust me it's not what I really am who's that guy who's that guy he's how old ah he's an old guy no I'm not an old guy so I guess there is another new Marvel flop you're the you're the Thursday guy you're the one who talks about date night in the box office yeah there's a Marvel movie that came out mam web that absolutely bombed it's the second in the series that has not done very well for Marvel and people are asking if it's lost its luster they thought that they were gonna have a Bangin situation with ton of money into it yeah but I I hear that it's really good I hear the story is really good and it's well done yeah I did say I don't go to the I don't go to the movies right but I did say toor right that's one I want to see same and I asked my he's like no I will fall asleep it it's gonna have to wait until you get home you'll fall asleep anyway I know I know hey there are a couple of Way shows where he stayed awake the entire time and we were all as a family shocked so first time the first time I think it was at Lily's Lily's play I thought he was look at this guy he's working because he had his head down and he's still working through everything what I didn't know was he was my husband's narcoleptic he falls asleep at the drop of a hat doesn't matter where it is if it's dark and it's quie is uh-uh that's it he's going to be snoring himself awake good morning Wendy well he woke up to a site last night what I fell asleep early but I woke up I was wide awake at midnight I hate when that happens like wide awake so I'm like all right I've been binging this series one day which is on Netflix and it's a dumb British love story of over decades time this couple comes together every year they went to college in Edinburgh together and I like the sights and sounds because I've been there before kind of like same time next year that they meet once a year well yeah but it's not like they're purposefully meeting once a year it just kind of covers where they are in their relationship every year okay gotcha um and you know finally they get together and she gets hit by a car I'm sorry if I'm ruining it for everybody so there I was at midnight last night balling like loudly sobbing they finally get together and she gets hit by a car that's an uplifting storyline it was like oh he wakes up and he's like I hate this stupid show I don't understand why people watch this and I'm like what do you mean you people he's like mostly women but I don't understand why people watch things that make you sad and cry it's like kids with cancer and this that and the other thing and you're watching all these horrible shows stop watching things that are depressing speaking about sad shows yeah last night on if you guys are in CIS fans and at some point everybody was but it's kind of running on his steam um I thought NCIS came on at eight it didn't come on so I missed it at nine but it was they finally accounted for David mcallum passing away so in the in the show uh Dr Mard died and apparently agent Tony came back okay so they they swapped one with the other yeah they brought him back I don't think he's he's there to stay there to stay he just he just came back for the um for the for the funeral but those of you who are NCIS fans you didn't see it apparently from what I've seen it was it was really good and and Tony shows up and something for you to look forward to in Tony oh God I forget what his last name was but whatever Mari I can't go for that look at you question yes it's called gut mil born police contacted contacted dispatch after they received a call from a sandwich man report reporting that he had swallowed a chocolate milk cap the man was a past sandwich Police Department customer and was not satisfied with the service we provided so he instead contacted Bourne yeah why are you bothering the police with this stuff apparently an officer spoke to a family member who reported the man was not choking and had not actually swallowed the cap but rather the ring that goes around the cap either way why cap the ring that goes around the cap why do you think that was a good idea do you think that people are now doing dumb things just so they'll be featured in the in the lock I'm not throwing out conspiracies but some of the things are really wild right and then there's this one involving the Animal control officer they received a call about a dog stuck in the marsh between wood Avenue and the boardwalk Animal Control was dispatched and the Animal control officer dawned his gear and went out to rescue the dog and it turned out to be a log a log a log well let's air on the side of caution nobody needs dogs lost in the marsh I I would have probably dawned my animal gear also people just get bored and like to try new dumb things you're not wrong no I guess I I don't I don't I don't know but it's just the crazy stuff they you know multiple offices including the K K9 Oakley assisted in searching for a missing teenager they were located in another jurisdiction yeah well I I do enjoy keeping up if you're GNA run away from home tell somebody where you going yeah so the police won't get involved I don't know what's gonna happen with my children they're not running away I'll tell you that right now no I think Lily's making her final decisions this week we'll have to see she is going to be wrapping up driver's ed no I don't I don't think she'll at her license before she turns 18 though she's there's no drive or ambition to get her license even yesterday I said do you want to drive a little bit and you know maybe work on some things no it's been too long but doesn't she want to get around what teenager doesn't actually Megan our daughter Megan didn't get her license until she was I think 17 and a half yeah but yeah we've surpassed that she is like a two months away from her 18th birthday and has no drive to get in there I mean but don't don't most of us certainly when I was younger I mean the first day I could get my license I had it no I I waited but I also had friends that drove me around everywhere so it's not like I was you handicapped and getting around it wasn't a problem right I also like married at 17 I had a husband to drive me around places that that was weird oh gotta be honest guys okay don't um that's it what's going on in the real estate market what's happening moving and shaking I feel like you guys are busy people are gearing up for that spring energy people who have been and we've talked about this every now and then when we've talked about the real estate market there's just pent up demand that looks like it's starting to starting to break yeah you know that the that the people on the who have the smaller homes need the the bigger homes the people that have the bigger homes that need the smaller homes they're starting to to realize okay the interest rates aren't going to go back down to two and a half so we have to do something and and the other thing that we've kind of developed a bit of a niche for is working with families who have to sell the parents home oh okay yeah either because Mom and Dad have both passed away or the one who was remaining is now in assisted living and it's a it's a it's tough it's tough for them because lots of times it's the home they grew up in or the home they summered in and lots of times it's just not one sibling you're dealing with you're dealing with two or three or four and Mar's really good at um you know sort of massaging everybody and and making sure that you know everybody is happy and satisfied well that's it there's a lot of moving pieces there's a lot of emotions and now you know you're getting health and wellness mixed in with just what should be a real estate trans action right there's a lot I mean sometimes people are looking for you know probably more than they should because they need the money to you know keep mom in the the nursing home or the assisted living facility so um that that makes it hard but it's it's starting to it's starting to move it's it's not deluged by any stretch of the imagination but but it's starting to it's starting to move so there's going to be going to be opportunities out there for people you guys are also busy on the food front dining at home and everywhere else is taking on life of its own and you're very busy on the page I think we've got over 6,000 participants now pretty incredible and I do love checking in with everybody via their food yes yes I saw seven food Trends to watch out for in 2024 okay they they are climate conscious menus and cooking what sustainability I I feel like it really is a conversation that has been brought to us the Forefront we've been talking about it here in Mash work we're working on our Mash P farmers market and um we are at an at risk Community here in mashby we don't have the access to farmtotable situations here so we're going to be bringing it which I'm excited for but we are talking about sustainability we are talking about being mindful in the foods in which we eat and where they come from I think it's super important we're getting away we got away from it for a while oh yeah yeah and I think a lot of people are asking those questions feeding on mushrooms and plants mushrooms mushroom coffee mushroom like exploded last year mushroom coffee yeah for health and wellness okay um Lion's man and all kinds of other stuff now while I'm not suggesting you get out there and start experimenting with all kinds of weird mushrooms I don't think dunks has mushroom coffee uh not yet okay but I'm I wouldn't be surprised if they started to be adding it to their menu however I think that they're being right now for charging too much money for extra different milks okay like the almond milk or the I forget whatever other milk that they overcharged for oh okay people are saying it's because of their dietary restrictions that they shouldn't be over oh stop it I know stop it it's an upcharge here but yeah feeding on mushrooms and plants everyone functioning and health boosting ingredients so looking for superfoods adapted gens Jin sing and ashwaganda all of those other things I I feel like that's been slowly increasing in what people want to have Global flavors third culture Cuisines absolutely yep the boys had their Curry night last night while Lily were and I were out of the house because they know I hate it yeah and they cooked cooked I just don't like the smell yeah yeah I love the taste of it I don't love the smell of it I don't know what it is yeah no I can't I I I love the the smell of Curry I The Taste is no artificial intelligence in the kitchen which would be like what me trying to cook I mean I don't AI powered recipe apps are already available virtual kitchen assistance that can help you rustle up Meals from scratch I ask Alexa all the time to give me alternate ingredients right or recipes or what should I do next and she knows oh yeah she'll follow on back she knows everything they sit there and spy on us they're robots they're all watching us right um buckwhat the new superfood MH the pseudo grain which is actually a seed has been Herald as the new superfood for 2024 okay and singing about soups the spotlight is swinging towards Rasam shorba and India and soups globally I love soup same I don't know that that's my age I've always loved soup though I feel like it's so hearty and comfortable it's soup season right now
