let's go well what surina and I were in a entrepreneurial book club where Stephanie never read the right book and Stephanie was terrible at this book club I really suck at book club I did not fabulous front of me do you guys ever get day we're all become Andy Bernard I I I don't know why I do it I just feel the need to all of a sudden just have a voice or something thing it's like the the signf and Josh okay Josh Adams they're they're like oh they're having them back again like Stephanie's really trying to Tank the show she's trying to it's not me bringing it down Josh highest ratings it's most d band The Midnight's aide they are really so good and they they go for hours like No Nonsense breaks you know when bands have been around for a while and they take nonsense breaks or they're barely working and it's like is it over yet I'll go on for two more songs and we'll drag it out for the three hours I'm PID to be here because because they're great at what what they do Matt wiro best drummer on Cape C so good best oh look at that endorsement dude I'm not GNA send that to him A+ this show deserves an Oscar already dudee I would never tell him to his face he's the best drummer on Cape even though I think so but I'm never gonna tell him to his face is that a guy thing yeah yeah and and I am the epitome of masculinity we we had this wearing a Madonna sweatshirt right now I love that's like we we had this conversation yesterday where like uh after a show Once like I went to his parents I was like you know AJ helped me out a lot like when I was first getting started and I was talking to him like just saying that made me like vomit in my mouth and just is saying anything nice to anybody we're just not say that again I didn't hear you you miss you miss I said it once I just I did it to makeone I did it to make your mom smile I'll do I've done a lot of things to make your mom smile and making making women smile or telling women to smile that's what we're all about here no it wasn't a suggestion it was it was it was an authentic smile that she did on her own this is going to be a long morning I'm just telling you that right now good morning Emily thank you for joining Patel two two also amazing Comics very solid line I really enjoy the shows that you put together it's always a Melting Pot of the most Ridiculousness which uh I thoroughly enjoy you never I'm a big fan of stand-up comedy I was watching the new Mike EPS that was released last night love Mike he's so funny like just uh just natural it seems like there is no act here it's just I'm naturally funny I'm gonna get up there and make the money that I need because I'm broke and I lost it all because I'm I'm that kind of person with money and I'm here right now it is just very different going to see one of your shows and seeing people try things try new things try different sets and everybody being so supportive which I love because you bearing your soul to people it's it's tough we're we're supportive to each other's face yeah like behind her back we will trash you I'll go up to AJ oh that was an awesome set and then like I'll talk to you know better comics and I'll just be like I can't I like I I'm so happy I've seen AJ sets so many times that I haven't excuse to go outside and have a smoke and you still haven't learned anything tough have they sent you a non scheduled appointment interesting at least it's going to be 40 degrees tomorrow and good morning Crystal thank you so much for joining us yes 40 degrees even more of a reason to go to our show tomorrow at knockout 800 p.m oh the it's gonna be bombing in 40 our hands will be clammy it's been absolutely miserable I cannot stand it when it gets this cold and we've been spoiled a little bit because it hasn't been this way same show that I was at I mean there was a lot of intricacies to that show and she was like writhing on top of a box that was being hoisted in the middle of the Arena what a wonderful show I I really wasn't mad at it I really wasn't mad about it but I was like oh there's a lot of danger to the show danger I'm I'm surprised she didn't get exploded at one point either or like a haircut on fire got like full Michael Jackson like she she came out like around the same time that Michael Jackson had his solo career and her hair is not never caught on fire which I find amazing because it was was it ever her hair doesn't matter still even more flamable that that's fair hair is more flamable which is which is why I'm surprised it never got on or like we never saw a tit or two there's never been a wardrobe malfun yeah know right it's all been locked down dude shout out to everybody that that makes those concerts like viable and makes Madonna still stand after all these years yeah because that's the good news is when I wear those Trump sneakers no one will ever rob me so I'm not around here not around here they go after him like no he has no money he spent it all well talk to me about politics and and comedy a little bit because I feel like a couple of our friends are really like like leaning into it yeah like have made it part of their act you have to have an absolutely unique take on on politics in order to get away with it Liam mcer is probably like the biggest example on the scene yeah of somebody if you were like dead in the center and like ripping on both I feel you can get away with it most Alex GM Papa another great another great he's really like it's it's thought provoking when his comedy is out there it's it's funny because it's real but also thought-provoking it is it is different it's crafted very well oh and if you're high when you see him it'll blow your mind I never thought about that well he's really high too so it's fine like an ex Josh Josh was born high if he's not smoking oh you should you should see pictures of my dad carrying me around as a kid like his eyes are like [ __ ] stop lights what so sandal weather he says yeah killing your sets I feel like what you're talking about right now is definitely resonating in the world yeah I would say I would I would say that that's fair yeah especially with Josh uh like Patrice O'Neal used to say like and I'm paraphrasing something along the lines like if half the crowd loves you and half the crowd hates you then you're doing you're doing you're doing the work you're doing the work right like you know if you go up there and you're trying to get everybody everybody to love you then you're not really kind of pushing the envelope or try when you're up there like that's what you're trying to do is get them I mean or is it just you you've got this thing you know where the laughs are going to come in like how does it work for you a little bit of both like uh we when we did the show at Sea Dogs like I didn't have too much time but I I wanted to do a bit about being Jewish and just like I I tagged it up with like I love starting with a joke where there's a decent possibility of it getting me killed and that got a big laugh actually and um because we're all deep down self-deprecating so it's we're like yep well just like I I kind of like working from like digging myself a little bit of a hole but like seeing how quickly you're do you think it makes you relatable to the audience that way definitely not know especially rude on on on on Cape Cod in in the winter you know we have a sick sense of humor we really do but but none of the Jews are back yet so nobody to back you up he all alone I know I I know I'm I know I'm all alone and and that's that's fine but like you know sometimes you got to like establish that like look I'm GNA be myself and I I hope you like me but I personally don't give a [ __ ] about your opinion Nate is already calling for your um Netflix special and Kyle Kyle I can't say that out loud sorry guys gonna have to read it okay you go all right I'm gonna censor it I'm I'm too much of a feline to be polarizing the fact that I'm a straight CIS white man does not help like okay first of all like a couple of those are very loose Kyle he can always straight he could always send his his twin brother up with like a third brother that looks very similar so dud he could be full dark def have an act he could definitely have an act with the brother he's a little zesty he said good morning Danielle how is Florida I hope it's warmer than here for you and I hope there are more Jews than there are there are definitely more Jews there right now I had a dream about you guys uh oh I'm sorry for whatever AJ did or said why is it always me because it's always you it's it's not well okay it's I don't know if it was a combination of whatever murder show I was watching at the time Stephanie brought this up before we did the show and then Josh asked who's who was bigger I I just I shut it down because I was like no I need to we need to go and fresh to this material here because I I'm admitting uh on camera that I did have a cameo up with you both uh and I don't know whether that was me like reminding myself that you were coming on the show today or whatever so you Incorporated yourself into the dream however it turned into prepare yourself M oh I can't believe we're doing this again right and so I incorporated into this while I was looking for a serial killer moment so it was both of us in here doing the show but it was in black and white and that wall that's there was like you ever seen that Meme where there's all like the tape and the pointing and everybody looks a little bit crazy but it was like all Hamas and all kinds of crazy stuff on the wall and you were like screaming at the wall pointing and there were fingers and it was just a really wild scene so after I hung that up for Josh I don't know why this was my this was my dream I dreamed about you guys in black and white in a crime scene I don't know why and what that says about our relationship together DJ just shows up at my house with like a blowhorn and will yell at my front door just there's a vooo Zella let's go yeah he's from the rivering from the river to the Sea Josh will drink my pee I swear to God next time he yells Hitler was right in the middle of my set it's it's going down first of all I didn't say it like that I said if only we had an Austrian pager here I didn't say who oh that that's true I was so good right I but that's not because I hate you name your favorite serial killer it's not because I hate my mom I we're from bar we're from barille We're Ed G people you can see his lamps they're crazy so I had this list the other day that I actually just posted on my regular social media and it was like going through all of the serial killers in their signs and it's it's all Virgo of viros like uh gemini or sag no Scorpios no no Scorpi neither Capricorns because we get away with it so we got we got we got work to do yeah no away I kill on stage but it was terrifying for me to look at that list and see how many viros were on the list and being married to one was a little frightening for me that's all I'm saying uh yeah but he knows that you're going to sleep watching all these serial killer shows you think he's not just as scared of you murdering him I have to be prepared for what might be coming my way I feel like it's one of those things hey he's he suffered me 20 years but honestly I feel like if he was gonna do it it would have been done already I think that's what every relationship needs just a little bit of fear that the other person might murder you yeah just a little and it's it's what it's what gets us going yeah it's it's it's definitely what keeps our friendship strong he knows I want to fight hold that thought for a second Don Jody good morning thank that's an excellent question we do we do three to five a week maybe yeah um about a like yeah between so you've hurt each other's everything do you ever help each other with jokes like if you had done this it would have been funnier or if it was this I've I've helped him with some yeah yeah he's uh he's he's helped Josh has helped me a lot lot with mine and uh tags so like when I do have my special I'm I'm putting uh um I'm gonna have uh Josh and Gary Peterson as uh as additional writer credits like on my speciales when that comes listen to that AJ special I've I've asked for him to take my name off being ass with that joke and it's all yours I have to give credit where credits due like uh if you've given me multiple tags I I feel I have to I feel I have to put you on that and uh and J Josh has helped me out a lot and uh and Gary Peterson as well and Aaron says you didn't need the stage and like Aaron did you not listen like we had Nester hosting and Nester Nester is two and a half feet touching the ceiling how many comedians do you work with on a regular basis is it just who's available we're doing the show here or do you craft who you think will complement each other in an act uh the latter yeah okay yeah um look yes Josh a a lot of it comes down to who's headlining where the venue is how many tickets were sold beforehand AJ knows who we could get cheap Aaron said leave Nester list of activities if you're looking for something to do this week and you're losing your mind trying to entertain your children I've become that switchboard operator for my girlfriends yesterday it was like I'm on the cape I have this amount of time I'm going to be in this town what do I do with my kids and I fired off five options for her which I feel is like a really nice service that I do for my girlfriends all right what can I do with a bored 11 year old at what what town uh highas yeah there's a bunch of places for you to go Ryan but everything we know we take her to Ryan's I I I was a Big Bowler during the pandemic yeah 300 really 300 under which is both like I myself with bowling people look at him you see I'm married to Fred Flintstone you know he is like the treasurer of the league like Wednesdays I can't even talk to him water buffal hat oh 100% he's got his own line 100% mark it zero Donnie you were over the line what is that it's weird like that like a 300 that's like one of those few things that's like really impressive and at the same time a little sad yes and I and I know that I know but it's a great sport it's a hobby a great hobby they're people that make big bucks off of it the more Josh Bulls the more he's not doing comedy and I fully support that God I love your comedy though I think you're both distinctly funny in your own fashion we compliment each other like we've never given each other compliments compl that's gay dude uh but but like within the past couple years Josh has gotten so good that like it makes me work harder like after I follow him so so so like any any road gig he's generally the first person I asked that's it a rising tide buddy look at that how do you feel about that exhausted AJ AJ is a lot back I don't know I don't know if you've you've noticed that you know he's no not one bit kind of over the top a lot like AJ has that kind of energy like you kind of assume that his farts sound like one of those like uh DJ air horns like you're welcome perfect timing we set this up before but but you get a lot but you get a lot of experience I I do I do and and and and and corporates like as far as a solid feature Pro probably nobody's more solid than Josh yeah no that hand job for the first bit of stage time was a good investment I just started waiting into the corporate realm of things and it's definitely a different vibe altoe uh we've had a couple of shows in the corporate realm I think we're worse I think we're raunchier on corporates I don't know how you would do that like at least me it's a program so it's like we're doing trivia we're doing this we're doing that this is the program we're gonna have fun I you know crack small jokes in between and it's not heavy lifting like you've got a group of people that you know nothing about that you've got to figure out what their sense of is and what's going to make them laugh well and then you're stuck in there rotting like I don't know if I can do it well that that that's another reason he gets me to do these corporate gigs with him because he knows I'll prepare I'll look up the the company I'll write [ __ ] about the company I'll go through their social medias but when we get there I'll go around management do do Recon you know I'm like the the Scout I'll go like who's the most annoying person in the office and won't shut who's probably going to Heckle us tell you know and you have to do that feel like I would that's like riding in there with nothing you don't know what the enemy has yeah so like I'll usually [ __ ] on the CEO or something you got to do that oh you have to take down it's like prison you got to hit the biggest [ __ ] in the yard oh God we did we did a show in Albany for uh like the fire the volunteer firefighters and the mayor of the Town came up and I was doing like people were telling us like he he loves like uh like could be e cars like electric cars stuff and I was doing jokes about like you know he no one's ever heard like his car or his wife coming and stuff like that and just [ __ ] all over them that's that's a real act right there but no like you know yeah it's you go after the biggest guy in the room and and cut him off the knees yeah cut him off at the knees Whatever Whenever we were like losing we felt we were losing laughs like we we we we' just go back CEO well he sucks like yeah well I love that you've been putting out your clips and you've got like 40 million followers on YouTube which I was like wow look at AJ yeah 40K but close to 40 million well for I was like that is that is really impressive that you've amassed this good group and I really loved one of the corporate or one of the event gig things that you would put out a clip of where you were like uh when I said I would do this again I said 20 people over here and three over here and I just enjoyed you mocking the audience in which where they sat he he did that once like two years ago and was like this worked and doesn't the the two things he starts either like I go up before him and if I Crush yeah his first five minutes are gonna be [ __ ] on me as well as he can as well as he can I haven't done that in a while so does that make you you know write your comedy a little bit more elevated because you're like come at me bro absolutely so now I have about I have about 45 minutes of just and his mother loves them so can you share a little bit about the writing process when you guys are working on some stuff or fleshing it out have you ever just like done something and you're like I'm never doing that again that was such a bomb or it was so embarrassing or I got heckled so badly like that's an Excell that's an excellent question well that's pretty much all of Josh's jok that's that's Mo but that's most most comedians like people don't realize like you think you write a joke you go up that's the joke no like a lot of times I'll write just a a word or two and kind of spit ball and try to see what works and comes together and sometimes it doesn't work but usually if it doesn't like those are the jokes it's like I want to figure this out then the the ones that the ones that you craft the most are the ones that like you change a particular tag like NE Nester had this one joke where he would just add with oh thanks ch for Columbus but like that tag would get no laughs uh but then he changed it um and it got an Applause break on Saturday I like we found it okay yeah like just testing out the areas in which that would turn that thing over you know like you're revving the engine you know the joke is there and it's just not kicked over to make people first out laughing he put it in the right gear as like okay we found it excellent yeah like so sometimes it's it's such a minute adjustment that'll change everything like I I was I was doing a bit and I'm not gonna do the bit now um way too funny to share with us too too funny but just like all of Josh's jokes um it it was a bit I was doing after Gilbert Godfrey died and there's it it's about my daughter and just like you know she was like a fan of Yago from and and then she went and started watching Gilbert Godfrey's comedy after he died cuz I like this guy was which kind of a little bit runchy and and that and that's the that's basically the bit and like it goes into this like little not the cartoon voice man I thought I was gonna get where is my cartoon voice man he would drop seab bombs a lot in his comedy and that's kind of where the joke goes but there's like a a an impression and stuff and like I was doing it and uh I did it one time and it worked but not great and uh this comedian that we were working with uh Jay Whitaker who is awesome oh I've definitely seen Jay yeah yeah he you saw him at knockout we talked about him I think uh last time we were here and he comes he's like he's like that's a good joke just give it one more beat before the punchline and then next time I did it I give it just like an extra like little bit of time before waiting for and I love seeing how the sauce is made sometimes One Beat is changed everything it's crazy sometimes it's just the smallest thing well because when people go to accommodation show they want to pay 25 bucks they want to forget about their feelings and they want to just laugh with somebody and feel like that you know wow this was a moment I feel exhilarated um I don't know if they get that all the time here but I'm kidding just saying this is what people are out there for no you guys are super funny and always get because she couldn't get gaki so she got it oh my god well I'm on the in with glowaki apparently now we have always been around each other's Vortex but never officially met so when I met him basically at awake which was a 70th birthday party that he was doing in someone's living room he's like ah we we got a lot of friends in coming and I just really yeah don't talk about this gig yeah if you're gonna be at a wake okay if you're gonna be at a wake it's probably good to be around Yeah well yeah exactly but it was it's one of those things that I think is important that people know the amount of work and the amount of writing that goes into comedy that's not just you're naturally funny I don't want people to feel like you could just get up there and kill for 10 talk about even crafting a 10minute set like that's a long time to new comedians right like a you know if you if you talk to you know more uh seasoned vets talk to you about uh how long it might take to craft your first tight five 10 minutes yeah it's like [ __ ] two years yeah if you've been doing it for five years you should you should have at least five minutes it's like five solid mes did you hear that Thatcher I knew someone was getting under the bus today I'm sorry I'm sorry man well like well like there's some people that like haven't even started and like think that they could they could just kill like in instantly that they're Patrice without doing the Patrice War you have to have a little bit of an ego though to be able to get up there and take that mic confidently and deliver whatever it is that you're going to say good morning Amanda love you guys true but you got you got to get you got to get on that mic you got to you got to do the open mics first yeah and and guess what everybody your [ __ ] Tik Tok followers don't carry over all right I don't care how many followers you have AJ you still got to be F but maybe talk about that in 2024 where people just see your best like those those farmed nuggets that are polished up and that's all of your best stuff right there that you had to like dig through shine it up put it out front this is what's in this door window I feel like you're doing a pro like the walk you want to take that clip shine it up real nice let's stick it straight up but honestly that is what people want and then they're like they don't see the development behind it or how you got to that laugh well that's the problem Bookers see the followers yeah that's what the Bookers are seeing the followers oh this guy has x amount of followers oh how much time is done on the mic none oh well but it'll still put butts in the seat and then you got to like try to put Comics around them to kind of save the show it's it's my my recommendation for that and a lot of Tik Tok stars have been starting to do this and have the wherewithal that they host the show yeah that they host the show and they bring up more talented comedians that that because I've opened for Tik Tock stars and they've had me do five minutes beforehand yeah great and then they're up there for 45 minutes to an hour and they're just eating their own ass the whole time what does that mean in comedy kidding having a good time h no they um they're they're just they're just absolutely because they're not preparing they're they're assuming just just like anyone else that sees on the outside that they can go up and say like oh I could just I could just talk for 45 minutes that doesn't mean you have 45 minutes right yeah exactly yeah I mean you can be engaging and have conversation but now you're doing TED talks not comedy like it's very different even Ted Talks people prepare for that and they think like oh they didn't prepare they just go up and they're talking yeah like a lot of the times TED talks like have um uh what what um like they have a script right like oh of course they do like they have a script they have something that they're reading from um they've worked on the presentation anybody in anything I it's been a very weird week I started off the week with a poet uh and she was like went to Brown like very educated uh no I had tomor on last week um this week I had jarita Davis on on on Sunday but it she was reading a short story that she had crafted from this one little moment where she was on vacation somewhere and saw plaque you know what I mean it's it's the writing is still the same as in comedy as in TED Talks as in being a presenter as in being an idiot that's on Tik Tok it's all still the same you still have to write the material there's got to be and a beginning at an middle and an end in there somewhere to formulate getting people in there I I mean it's yeah they're similar to say it's the same process you know like not everyone's process because we're looking for specific reactions like a lot of art is you know in the eyes of the beholder like people stare at the same picture and feel two different emotional responses to it comedy like we're trying trying to find ways for people to get to that place even though they might not be coming from you know any sort of understanding of what sort of Life we've had or like how are you doing it in a climate where everybody seems miserable and in their own way dud so when I perform to a crowd where everybody looks like Josh I'm happy I'm happy on the inside it was it was at a depression uh study and AJ killed like three people they're off with this I've had enough they're holding their heart like it's it's funny still counts AJ did a show at a uh at an old folks home and you could actually see people bending over and holding their oxygen tubes just close it just shut it down that's why they hired me and Briana Woodward so that so so so they're like hey we have too many patients what can make them feel were trying to get a couple beds to like my grandson was gonna visit me but that's it I'm done AJ ruined it all it's over no I did I did my job I did my job so when you're crafting for that like how how how do you change for the world the climate what's going on oh I make it sound even hipper I do reference is that came out this year that they'll never understand it's it's not my job to change for the world they should change for me and that's that Josh Adams he'll be here all day he's running for office I've never seen you two slam on a desk more than today it's it's like that a lot of points to get out it's like that episode of The Office where Jim pretty much tells Dwight he needs to be Hitler like the we the Gears of War he's going for it as long as you don't spill my coffee that's it Nate said if he was honestly if I was getting flamed I'd just laugh especially if it was really good no I don't have any good OIC jokes who was out there to O zic again yesterday or to be basically is what she said she's like get away from me pores she's totally like really just down to earth such a sweet girl absolutely beautiful but holy my god well we just read this morning that the average American lives off of or gets by uh spending $35 a day and I just didn't really even know where to go that I feel like that's extremely low well when since I shop at maresa then yes I get away with but I feel like especially with my children who are like a demented kings and queens I think that they have no idea or reference for where money comes from how hard it's earned I'm like Dr especially this week during school vacation I'm like what do you think I'm made of what if if I ever have kids and they turn four they're pulling their weight around that's it absolutely we'll talk about your cultural raising you are working you were working since birth oh yeah I I was I was working do you see my skin color us people were working from the start we were bu we were building decks alongside with Nester you throw in your mom in your comedy a lot oh yeah and my mom still goes I throw his mom in my comedy a lot they're really good friends they really do like each other really how dare you bring up my mom I've never brought up your mom on stage ever I'm pretty sure you said you [ __ ] my mom on stage like three days ago I did I didn't put a warning on this one sorry guys Susan does that go it felt like it's going on for too long even for Josh oh so what do you do when you're sitting there and nothing is working on stage yeah I don't know that's never happened oh well you delusional either either either either you're you're correct and don't do enough comedy or you're delusional have you ever felt because you end up being the host or kind the booker or the one the organizer the the ring leader if you will that you needed to get up on stage and save someone from themselves oh sure really oh you felt it but have you actually done it um Josh you've seen me do it before yeah and and and and you and you've done it before too you'll you'll see AJ will set the lineup based on who may or may not eat [ __ ] and and then he'll put me after them dude first of all you put yourself after he looks at the lineup oh I'll definitely kill after them Jos like before I saw before I I I put a a lineup in stone like Josh is this lineup good for you and you're like no put me after this person I'm like oh okay um only uh one other time in recent memory like like like a few months ago um this this this this one comic on stage she was just not getting that the crowd wasn't like into her at all yeah and we told her eight minutes and she ended up doing like close close to 15 16 so many accents so many weird accents there there was more accents than jokes and and I I just had to I just had to pull you're just watching it it's like just a bad accident it's in slow motion and it's just happening I I I said give give it up for blah blah blah take off I like oh I didn't see the light yeah I know I'm the light go into the light doing doing double your time like AJ's on the side like over no laugh light light is that how you alert each other to get the hell off the stage this get gone all right I'll pay attention to that somebody somebody asked me uh how much while on stage AJ how much time do I have left I said uh that's enough yeah that light has been you're getting into comedy for the money [ __ ] leave immediately yeah well he was in radio so obviously he's not after money oh yeah never anybody there you're you're well like go straight to Tik Tok yeah yeah just go straight to Tik Tok that's that's where the that's where the real money is and then Bookers will book you just based off of your Tik Tok following like if you actually want money in it but if you have a passion for it and you want you that has to be frustrating yeah that has to be frustrating for people that are actually funny um just aren't social media Savvy yeah yes it absolutely can be but like my my what what I said was step it up in the social media Department your yours isn't going to be as big as theirs but at least give them something yeah even if you're posting like once a week if you can post three times a week awesome but even if you're posting once a week you have something well do you help each other out with that aspect of things because I know there are a lot of wonderful social media managers and people that are really good at it it um but then they you know they want money and they think they're a lot better than than what they are for that and obviously if you're getting into comedy you're not rolling in the dough at this point in time no I got de for food stamps so no sorry AJ we're working on our mashby Farmers Market I just got certified um I will I will feed you oh thank you that's a great plug by the way I will always feed you guys oh oh because someone comes up to I'm so depressed well luckily for you we have a show knockout Thursday at 8:00 pm yay with Mo Musa he's so funny oh mo is great talk to people about some of his comedy a little bit because I just I think he's unmissable there are tickets still available which I'm surprised yeah Mo Mo's great like uh if you listen to his his Cadence and like his delivery it sounds like kind of like a young pre Killing Them Softly Dave Chappelle he's just yeah he's really got a great pacing he's got a great a great pacing great delivery very clever jokes very very smart he doesn't really hold back from anything uh I do kind of want to smack him right now uh me and me and AJ went and did a show in Boston uh in Brooklyn what was it two weeks ago yeah and uh I grew up in Brooklyn my mom lives like a prepared for the Boston Rising you knew what you were getting into but you know my mom she does she doesn't live on C so she got the opportunity to come out and see my show and I'm out getting ready for my set and Mo's on and he starts talking to my mom and I'm like [ __ ] he's talking to my mom and then like halfway through a set stop talking to my mom he's like uh look like are you are you a comics comics mom like I don't know I might be [ __ ] somebody's Mom after this set night he's like are you somebody's mom I walked out into the middle of the crowd and I was just like raising my hand up like we might we might have to go Josh this your mom was like we'll we'll talk after the show he runs out after the show at least she made it funny no he made it funny and look as as as mother should know what she's getting into as as like infuriating as that might have been he made my mom feel pretty and I can't stay that's awesome too much you know good morning Mari Ricky Tom HCK how are you I'm so psyched I saw the press that you got last week very event speaking of moms that you just reminded me of and uh very difficult to find single guys single guys of a certain AG I don't know why I don't have a problem your community it's all single guys yeah and like you you you have to remember guys that like guys are still guys correct that's that's fair when uh they had me host uh their dating show at Harpoon Brewery in Boston and there was 16 women on and just three dudes and like are you kidding these are some of the most beautiful women I've seen um in in in quite some time and then dudes are handsome as hell but like come on no no one else wants these women are are you serious so what they can't have groups I don't know how need to learn work together Mo MOA should been there I was I was just like dude you're you're you're you're single dude you would have been their King and you'd be the only brown person in in in the crowd other other other other than me you was you was you was smooth them over and I saw a black leg kick me and I just like and they be laugh their asses off so we had this speed dating event we had um 50 50 women sign up for it and um 15 guys day of the event um nine guys showed up one one of which was very young for the crowd wait like young like legally young or no no like legally young but you know he's 21 and these women were like 55 56 oh Kyle's trying to get laid I gave everybody numbers I gave every I gave everybody numbers so nobody had to exchange names if they didn't want to and so I I was looking through the scorecards to match people in the right thing as we're getting together for like single mingles and all kinds of stuff and breaking people out in age bracket but he was writing down so so and so's mom so and so's mom but one of the moms he put He would date and I was like well this guy's got a type I appreciate it very much to sit there and watch him write down he knew who this woman was knew her son and said that he would date one of them so good for you buddy good for you everybody deserves somebody at this point I'm not judging you're keeping America rolling bro well it's a scary place on those dating apps for people and especially when you get to a certain age and catfishes and you know a lot of people they especially our older community doesn't they did not grow up with this situation they don't know we've been watching this crap on MTV and the leg since the beginning of time yeah with Kurt loader loader to bust him out somewhere that's great Dre beat up a second journalist today but I mean if you're over 60 you did not grow up watching reality shows and people pretending to be other people are having fullon families and lives faking being another person to just feel alive well they didn't see it on TV they could do it they could move right up the street and no one would see them again and they'd have a whole different family that's SC it's scary it's scary out there at the day those those were the days when you could have multiple families they they really were the best generation and now we're going back to serial killer town where we began the show dude you could have multiple families they could be in the same town their kids could be the same school district and you have no idea oh Christine yep I'm wrapping the speak easyy here this was started at the beginning of the pandemic appreciate your entrepreneurialship salties it's just basically where we all um we're drinking home alone so we decided to form a club and meet each other online it was great just drinking bourbon out ofs I was really excited the day that this particular sweatshirt came because I just bought all the autri M for pic coladas why because it was pandemic and that's what we planned our day around the excitement of what beverage we were gonna have to celebrate death with that was a really a long station it it really it was crazy it really was so thank you very much for at least you know making me feel like I'm not alone I love you I appreciate you and I will always rep the Speak Easy for sure um no definitely not Mark you are definitely not getting money working for lemonad we don't make money here just like comedy yeah ju if you did nothing wrong right so uh according to the case like him and a buddy uh they were hooking up with this girl and then he defecated like on her head immediately afterwards so like that's that's the number one thing like going on your face says everything on it and then was telling that to to a friend of mine he said wow physic man lost his whole reputation I feel bad for him you feel bad for Vince you know who you should feel bad for freaking woman that got pooped on and then the the second person you should feel bad for is the person that had to clean it up after 100% because
