wife of that Broadway actor who got very sick and passed away yeah and she was providing all this information about you know what happened and when he died and all of that and I'm thinking to myself you know what I think a lot of this has been public already oh you felt as if it was a sham and the wife was kind of playing along well she's an actress too so so so the wife was kind of playing along and you know Teresa K was saying well he told me this happened and I mean we pretty much and I don't remember their names and that's the sad part about it but we pretty much lived that whole thing yeah we all knew what was going on interesting yes I feel like a lot of that is that also but the I've Got Friends that there's no way they would know anything about that oh yeah like my girlfriend SU and who will just come up with the most random of things and I'm like how did you know that right there's no way so I don't know yeah with like that Tyler Guy the one that's like the medium to the stars or whatever I don't know yeah he seems to get into there into their skin to know about them so know he seems to we Mari is a fan of um maren Hancock I don't know her who is a she's a local local local medium and she's been to see him see her a couple of times and Megan's on too and and uh one time my father was there really yeah he was flirting with the ladies that doesn't surprise me at all does it no no that was my father that's how he knew it was him he was flirting with somebody oh yeah no no he's here yep that's him good morning Rob and Jackie hi Emily what's going on happy Thursday T we are one day before the weekend you anything fun this weekend and PS what's going on with um the island Queen does anybody know is it just a ship problem I don't know they canceled all their sailings yesterday and all their sailings today that's two full days of people not getting their dirty bananas right I don't want to hear staffing issues yeah right maybe probably a boat could be I feel like it's I don't know if they've only got the one the island Queen so yeah we've got the mash B Farmers Market on Sunday as always we're going to have a great time van Pella is going to be performing this weekend and how many vendors do we have for this one m I think it we had to expand the market really for this one and now we're expanded we're going to be expanded for the rest of the summer so we're taking on more I I understand my favorite uh Baker pastry chef is coming oh Natasha oh so good right oh folks if you see where Natasha is go and get her stuff so good she's a former client she is a client of ours at today real estate minus plus today real estate when you eat with your guys she's got these massive macron that I'm like so dying for I love them she made my birthday cake so good your birthday cake was delicious it was it was great and she made little cupcakes that everybody got she's made I think she's made Mariana's birthday cake pretty much um pretty much all 12 years maybe wow um if yeah for for for a while anyway hey Mark unbelievable guys I saw your new haircut yesterday looking handsome is it a boy's regular she's 50 no it is it's cuter than a boy regular she's 50 this summer Believe It or Not mechanical reports of smoke when coming into the harbor the other day oh Luke I 50 years old there's a lot of anniversaries yes I don't recall smoking starting to smoke when I was 50 like bleep it we're halfway through let's do it oh Jackie I'm gonna see you the mermaid is gonna make another appearance I cannot wait oh boy well uh yeah we're we've got anniversaries all over the place not only is the island Queen 50 but I saw this little nugget today in my stack of stuff that it's been the 50th anniversary of women getting credit cards without a man having to sign up for it really it's only been 50 years wow that would have been 197 something right right it's only been 50 years that we've been allowed to have a credit card without a man I mean well then again how long have credit cards been around right that's true but that's still Bizarro right it was such a stat that I was like wait a minute Double Take let me read a little bit more about this seriously 50 years today wow so te technically 47 going to be the hottest day of the week on Sunday real feel 94 degrees oh I mean mean hotter than it has been we are setting worldwi glob mobal heat records right now which is not a super exciting thing but when you put it in the scope of things the temperatures on Saturday reached 120 degrees in Vegas no thank you yeah no I mean it get warm out there and I like it warm and all of that but that that might a little too much for me it was like 115 in Oregon I saw a place I've never even heard of Mama Russia Mama Russia where it hit 101 their highest temperature ever Mama Russia in the United States not Mama Russia no it's in Russia oh oh oh okay Mama Russia wherever that is okay so if that it must be in their Frozen area must be right must be and and and speaking about stuff like that this may be a bad segue do you know there were two um astronauts stuck on the space station I know I saw that I saw that this morning too with no return no but they but they're confident because the problem with the Space Capsule is the Space Capsule was made by Guess Who Boeing and there's problems with it and they can't they just pled guilty right right right they can't seem to get it back to go get these two astronauts who only supposed to be there for eight days they've been there for a month and they say they're having a good time and they're helping the regular Crew That's there for half their life or something I mean they can go back if they want to however it's not exactly I would not feel great about not having a return flight on that one no I I want to be sure that the door stays closed sure it's not a standby I want to sign myself off for well especially since they say you lose bone mass and all kinds of other problems the longer you stay in space right so they've got more of a rehab time when they do get home um they must have really supportive families they must they must but this is the kind of stuff that you you know read about when you were a kid or something in some science fiction book about you know people going into space and getting stuck and and all of that sort of stuff and it's it's happening it's really going on crazy Gloria hello good morning thank you for joining us from Canada um I loved your post the other day you look so super cute I don't know where that photo is from warning to behave he's usually behaved although I'm feeling cranky today because because I'm tired is it tired is the the heat what is it I haven't slept right since the clock's changed you know spring ahead I'm I'm like I usually wake up 5:30 quarter 6 maybe six o'clock I'm waking up now at like 4:30 that's not fun that that's a little too much and I can't go back to sleep so then see I'm cranky I'm gonna I'm gonna complain now um so my short little power nap is becoming longer which means I don't go to sleep quite maybe yeah you just don't function I'm all I'm all wheel that's skiing we need to pull this over this wagon needs to be fixed right I need to go on vacation oh wait I just came back from vacation Emily says the weather is drunk and needs to go back to Florida maybe done eatting anyway oh gosh Jenny good morning what a pleasant surprise it was to see your face bopping into trivia on Monday Jenny lives in Maine now she relocated from the cape and she was down celebrating her son's wedding and uh popped over to say hello that's ni and I don't know if it was for me but selfishly I'm going to say it was for me so it was just really nice to see your beautiful face it's all about you so we'll just say it's for you listen it's never about me so I have to make it about me on the show because nobody in this house listens to me and it's never about me oh I find that hard to believe no we had a great night last night uh jam packed over at the sandwich Taverna for trivia and Lily was slamming over at Cape Cod beer ran out of cards really just jamming wow I know so she covered things over at Cape Cod beer while my husband and my son were off Cape dealing with doctor stuff so I mean we'll we'll get there we're we're chugging along in that realm it's you know the summer of trying to get everything squeezed in before school starts and we all start our new Endeavors she is seven weeks left before she moves in WoW right wow are are are you feeling old no are you feeling happy I'm there's a mixture of excitement and also she's just ready I know it's going to be a constant barrage of everyday phone calls because she's learning to do things but she's really jumping into doing things when it's a problem it's not just like Mom can you fix that I'm like here's the phone number you call right here's the person you do it Go and deal with this I can't log in you have to call the school you have to call the buser's office you have to deal with your fincial aid but she's doing it you know at first it was a little Merry meltdown every single time but now it's getting a little easier and it's like okay here's a phone number I'll deal with it so it's been awesome Jenny says I can't wait to come back we are working on some karaoke in fact you inspired our daily question today Stephanie in the morning what's your go-to karaoke song A lot of people are like I will sit there and cheer for the people that are up there because it's not for me I haven't been to karaoke in a while but when would we'd be at places where there would be karaoke it would always seem it would be the same people everybody's got their favorites who would get up in the sing and everyone else would just would just applaud yeah and you have to have maybe a little alcoholic inspiration to do it sometimes some people just really enjoy that right and they think they can sing like our friend Danny from sea salt who sang for us when we had our open house over at Everly we had a summer party our Spring Fling got pushed into a Summer Splash so we ended up doing a little karaoke over there and I had first lasted everything from Barry White to some other fun he saying that he did granted a bunch of octaves up higher right Barry White songs they're really tough to sing because he had a really unique voice and they were kind of they were kind of a song kind of a tune but then again they really weren't because it was just all those I mean I can't even do it I'll hurt myself all that low voice stuff he had that love baby music right was very good I don't know slow as I can get but my first my last my everything that that was the song they always played on Ellie mcbi right yeah yeah one of my favorite tunes by the way so he inspired us there I'm I'll always go with a paty Klein usually an opener but I like anything from Steelers wheel to Paul Simon you will find me singing literally anything they let me and I got the words I'm good my favorite karaoke quote for people is I don't know the words lady there in front of you you have the words on a screen have you done this before I don't know the words look in front of right here here here here make them up make them up think I know sing sing what you think they are that's always fun because they're usually not rtb hello how are you hey rtb how you doing bud um and she says I just need my tea and I absolutely love that my voice is deep enough I can do that Jenny you're awesome um now now is next week R tb's week um it's bear week yeah oh absolutely he's already made a com he's ready to go I guess we've got a couple of Rupal drag race performers rolling into Province Town I got to I got my tea I got my own tea on uh Friday we went to tea dance my girlfriend Michelle was here visiting from Pennsylvania this is the season where we've got all of our influx of visitors so Michelle uh and I and rtb got to go out to lunch red in which I absolutely love we went to tea dance we had an absolute good time and we ended up at karaoke at the governor Bradford what else are you going to do when you're in Province Town and I had an interesting moment yes so we're sitting there and I see this guy that I know from somewhere and I'm like how do I know this guy I know him from somewhere and I see him smiling he's bopping all around and I'm like where I can't place his face I know it I know his face I don't I can't remember his name and then all of a sudden it hits me I've never met this human being in real life okay I have been editing his podcasts for a company that I work for really for a solid year really never met him he has no idea who I am he only knows me by my name we've never seen each other I only edit the audio but they send the video so I've got that too and so I'm sitting there and I'm like wait a minute are you and then I turn around because I see his pile of friends behind me is his name Brian and they're like yeah I was like okay I know he is I know he is so did you go up and say hi I'm I called him over I was like hey I edit your podcast he's like oh my God I was like can we take a selfie so I can show the other guys sure so I sent it to my friend Chris and I was like hey look at who I found in provin down over the weekend and he burst out laughing he looks he's like because they do a financial podcast right something more with Chris Boyd if you've ever listened to it it's really good and if you're looking to retire have any questions about money uh those are your go-to guys Chris Boyd Jeff Perry this guy happened to be Brian rean who I've never seen in real life and I was like can we have a selfie and he's like yeah and his whole friends are like this is so weird right but in the selfie I took with him there's a guy behind him just like lifted up his shirt oh jeez it's like this like a serious business podcast like very very Financial oriented we talking about the Dow and the ndaq and all their stocks and all their other stuff so it's just like very serious so it was fun to see nonserious side of people that I work with that have never met me because because those people who do Financial podcasts they're Wicked serious oh my god well they have to be I mean you're dealing with people's money people's livelihoods people's retirement they look at you to be like what are we doing here this is going to make or break my next 30 years of life make sure you make this happen for me super not any stress or anything no but they seem like they'd be no fun yeah no and totally not who broke a chair I didn't break a chair I didn't break a chair did I break a chair I know I'm gouchy but I didn't break a chair this morning I don't think I did did you break a chair what they saying you broke a chair there I don't think so somebody may have but it wasn't me I didn't do it this time so he said we were celebrating a bunch of anniversaries the H 100th anniversary of the Caesar salad is today where was it invented I'm G to be a wise guy and say Rome probably not Mexico me Mexico right Caesar salad in Mexico 1924 that doesn't make any sense the the gentleman I guess his name is Alex cardini says he still has the original recipe card wow in his family so wow invented by a guy named caesar no I don't think so oh well how it ended up I don't know why the Caesar became the Caesar I just know it's this and it's one of my favorite salads so we'll it what's up Diane and hello Amina our pickle lady I think we've just picked a day for Pickle Fest oh good right right it is going to be a day of pickling all of the things so much fun July is National pickle month so we celebrate you Amina and your hardworking business that you've got uh Lily is starting to work for the pickle lady tomorrow oh good which Farmers Market is she going to be at drop it in the chat just so that we can keep up to date with you they sell out they sell out within like the first hour of every farmers market that they rrive at oh yeah they can't keep up it's just like a mass demand for pickles I don't know what it is hi making my teeth hurt uh is the season of uh like I said as we were talking about visitors here on the cape everybody has come to visit us the amount of traffic yesterday was absurd apparently Wednesday is the new Friday oh really so if you think you're getting near any of the bridges and whatnot that is Wednesday is not the day for you oh boy so many people were visiting and why do they decide to mow the the the lawn in the middle of the day because they don't pay attention it's like hours of backup traffic yesterday and it was all because mowing right I thought my Mo my friend MOA was GNA have an absolute contion she's like I'm trying to get home I can't why they're Mowing and the road work gotta stop gotta stop it can wait till the fall we have a pretty good fall we got problems people we got a lot of people here right and you go up to Boston yeah and the summer closed for a month well and that and and all the the the you know things that they put into place to sort of make it easier I guess they're just blowing up yeah there are people driving through Chelsea now and neighborhoods in Chelsea and they don't like that and and the folks that are wild and you know they they're looking for the police to direct more traffic and the and the police chief is saying I don't have enough guys it's the summer they're on vacation W it's it's like oh please we all know this living in a vacation space where all of us a sudden if traffic is rerouted and you got randos in your neighborhood you're not loving it you're like who are these people you don't belong here this is not your area get like what's coming up for me in the next couple of weeks I'm just going to have to deal with that these are the crosses that we bear living by the Bara Fairgrounds correct we are going to be seeing all kinds of crazy right right and just that that is what it is summer heat and tourus equal crazy town so be prepared for it and and when they get to a a rotary they just don't know what to do it's not the dog days of summer right now it's not their fault they just don't know what to do yeah I feel like rotary lessons need to be a mandatory situation as you come over the bridge Park here for for rotary lesson yes the people on the rotary have the right away don't just be bombing up in there and blowing up traffic flow up into smithin right very annoying obnoxious you know who you are right and we're coming to get you we're definitely not so you've got visitors in town your mom-in-law is here my mom-in-law is here and do you feel the need to take take her everywhere when you're here you're like what are we gonna do well well she's she's I mean she's really good really independent she came in her own in her own car but my um my wife's cousin and my wife's two of her cousins are here as well yeah so they're all kind of going out and ping around together because we're we're working we are so dang busy right now yeah I mean when I leave here I go to a home inspection um for a home that clients of ours bought well we were away neither one of us have seen it yet oh boy so I'm I'm going over for the it should be I hope it's okay um but it should be but there's just there's just so much there's just so much going on yeah that that we're lucky that you know Janet can get around and you know Diana Jan and an are here and they're all they're all paling around so it's it's you know it's working out and of course you know Mariana's boy who happens to be a friend is going on vacation for the next two weeks so we've got to you know she's got to see him every 20 seconds so had to truck her over to hyanis yesterday oh that's super fun yeah Cliff ended up in hyanis yesterday oh picking up Lily good morning Jane she said someone stopped just in at Eva's Place yep so we had just like a girl sleepover we ended up watching some terrible Melissa McCarthy thing burst out laughing because because I was like oh maybe we'll log into Hulu and then uh my girlfriend was like don't do that because I'm still logged into your Hulu I'm like oh are you the one watching my shows and every time I go back it's on a different one she's like probably so that had me for a good laugh we ended up at the pilot house yesterday grabbed a nice little lunch Lily joined us for girls time she was mad she wasn't invited to the girl sleepover yesterday yeah my mother-in-law was there see Diana Jan and and we might have missed were all there what time were you there um about 1:30 2 I know I don't I don't know what time they were there but that's where they had lunch yesterday yeah probably around about that time actually we were hanging out we stopped over and saw Junior over at captains Lily got her dessert fix on and uh it's just fun to be a tourist in your own town to bop over to places although sometimes it gets a little bit exhausting you're like all right you got this one this one this one you guys go over there great I got a little bit of work to do I'll catch up with you after WS so that's where I ended up yesterday as after I did squeeze in a little bit of work right well it is summertime I mean you do have to kind of I try and balance it back off a little I know well I'll tell you one thing you're not doing you're not swimming in the pond across the street here listen I try not to swim in that thing in July well it always it it officially has the creeping crawling crud as my dad would say yet another wond on Cape Cod that's like it's the heat don't go in it don't drink the water if you have happen to get in there go to your house turn on the hottest shower you can stand and stand there for as long as you can to get the crap off you then hope for the best sorry guys somebody posted um I I don't know if you saw it on social a a photo of her daughter's bathing suit um she went swimming at I guess a camp that is on one of these ponds that they've now decided has the stuff in it and her bathing suit was green yeah it like turned green I believe from the mck and the yuck and and all that stuff well we can't have 80° 90° weather and not expect things to be growing in the ponds it's just no sorry no and that's what we get for kicking the can down the road about this stuff you know we we here we go I'm being cranky again we've we've known that this can happen and we know there are solutions and we haven't done a thing about it well now here we go folks you can't use your pond for a that you live on for a month yep and I'm sure Cliff did jump in and on Sunday oh captain that sounds kind of good right now yeah but Captain house is over the bridge it is and you got to get back over the bridge well if you're stuck over there though it's a great place to buy some time Captain 's yeah yeah true I like it true when we're visiting our friends over at Old places spaces shout out to Lauren she is our entertainment on Sundays at the farmers market she does such an amazing job but if you need a birthday party a rented space for something you just want to go and create a little bit of art or the kids are crazy check out her open hours and all the wonderful activities that she's got some really fun stuff including drop in times for you moms stressed out moms if you need to just drop them off and have a few hours to yourself definitely check out Lauren's um schedule to see where you fit I saw a story about Mom's um medicating self-medicating themselves with mushrooms I'm not against it however moms are taking magic mushrooms to manage their parenting stress the thing was like but is it safe there are potential benefits enhanced emotional and mental well-being increased creativity and problem solving menopause relief and hormone balance um but they're strongly seeing the micro do situation do you know boardrooms and offices are doing micro doing at this point in time with mushrooms I did not know that yep like we're having a meeting today everybody drink your tea let's get weird I think that this is great we need to come up with some new ideas right wow w wow this is 2024 everybody everybody must get ston you can't put this back in the bag I'm not against it and see Alicia says it's not as bad as you think we're not against it no must helping people but it's nice to talk about it must be weird to see the CEO at the front of at the front of the table wrecked right let's do it what have we thought about right Tiffany what what's happening over there in Creative have you gotten more creative what have you made for us Jimmy let's go oh the let's the next the next lemonad staff meeting y maybe guys we see Hank get weird your mother-in-law's watching we all vote Yes yes but there was just a couple of other things that I was looking at which made me laugh speaking of the mom realm of things there was an 18-year-old that took to Tik Tock cuz that's what 18y old to solve the world problems she said that her name was cringe and her parents basically named her a pirate name and now she's looking to petition to change her name at 18 years old C she can and what did her parents name her Arisa how was that a pirate name well because they wanted to get rid they wanted to make it more unique and so taking the M off Marissa and she got Arisa she hates it get over yourself she says it's literally cringe I don't know what to do and other people were chiming in with you know Ari there are other nicknames in there that you could just make the best of whatever it is that you were named and kind of gravitate towards something so I don't have a lot of sympathy for that I mean that's that's not like you know being named pink flower or something or or or what's that actress that named her kid all kind of weird oh there are a lot of them apple and yeah Moses apple and Moses I mean I mean not there's anything wrong with Moses by the way we want to be sure we don't offend Moses but case he's listening this morning whatever you want to name your kid a fruit that's your business right look at elon's kids names the they're numbers they're not even real things they named their kids AI barcodes for crying out loud I mean there comes a point where can't you just name them something that is every day but nobody likes what they're given anyway whether you have straight hair curly hair whether you've got this color skin this color eye everybody wants something different because it's not theirs so I can't really jump on the bandwagon of you've got a pirate name although I think if you're gonna go in with the pirate name make everybody call you Arisa and just embrace it right of course of course see I I don't think that's that bad but I'm not Aisa so right you don't live in her shoes you don't know how bad it is for her no it's not making us cringe not one bit I I I would think GE that's kind of a pretty name see so you've got your closing you're working harder than ever in your real estate dealings right now do you think it's because people come here for the summer and they're like we want to live here let's look at Cape homes or is it regular everyday Cape cotters already I think I think people have Mari and I have talked about this I think people have just adjusted to the fact okay the interest rates aren't going to be three and four% anymore they've been six between six and 65 or 66 and this is what they're going to be and if we're going to do something we we've got to do something and um you know prices are kind of holding steady they're not going up they're not going down uh for those of you who are waiting for the election to see what happens the election has no impact on I can't even look at what's happening in politics right now every day it's like whatever what AOC calling for the that she two retired judges like get them out of there oh yeah she want yeah um I forget who because they yeah it's it's just and I guess they passed you have to show your citizenship in the house but they haven't reached the Senate yet and they're planning to do that for voting purposes there's just a lot of crazy going on I mean if I if I went to vote and someone said can you prove to me you're an American citizen I don't have a piece of paper that says I'm an American citizen no but I have a license okay yeah but in here in here in Massachusetts I had to show mine remember that whole to do oh oh yeah that's right that's right cuz I forgot to fill out my census and it's not that I forgot to fill it out I forgot to mail it back right I'm just not good at the mailing back thing I guess um what is it uh Target is doing away with checks uh next month or the month after that I'm like you still accept checks I didn't even know that they did right oh my god when was the last time you wrote a check like this is for me what I feel like mailing things out I don't mail things I I finding a stamp I write a check every Sunday and put it in the collection basket for father Healey there you go so I write four checks a month that's all he's got I mean that's it I mean I don't write a check for anything else no or if Mariana needs something at school every once in a while we had a debacle over the past weekend because I did have to write a check from the farmers markets budget to pay one of our entertainers and then it got lost and I'm like oh no like this is why we can't have nice things we can't have checks this is pieces of paper that are put in people's hands it's gonna get lost by the way that check was found so good very right and I don't I personally I don't ven Mo I don't PayPal Mari does I just like I don't know it seems so foreign to me that I just can't do it we're changing the way that we interact with people and paying for things is another one of those things it's just easier if we use digital currency pretty soon we'll just be able to Blink yes if we want it paid for and then it's g i finally got I finally got the Dunkin' Donuts app yeah H so so so so I order before I before I leave the house and I stop and generally speaking they get the order right even though it's the same order every day and I just did reorder reorder reorder this morning for example I had a hot coffee oh medium iced it's always IC right says medium IED always medium iced well I get grumpy because I'm the opposite way it's always hot I don't like iced coffee I'm just like I'm I'll just give it a cliff it tastes like milk especially in a latte Jenny said there's always something that you can pick apart about ourselves my maiden name was man hey that's not that bad Jean thanks for joining us no it's not bad no it's fine but I mean if it's given to you there's teasing involved with absolutely everything that you do of course so we were talking about real estate and I laughed when I saw this today in our our things about Taco Bell opening a retirement community now I've seen it all in California but Taco Bell is actually opening a retirement community in California please tell us how this is g to work I love how they put quote luxurious experience with Taco Bell yep will offer senior inspired Recreation and cross-generational activities such as early morning te times afternoon aerobics pickle ball matches for anybody 21 and over exclusive access to the canten is it's reserved for Taco Bell rewards members who can choose between two options weekend membership you can come over and have it so it's a retirement community but it's not it's just if you are looking to retire early but don't think you've got quite enough money saved up this is Taco Bell's response to this so so you can go hang out for the weekend and and pretend and you're retired right I'm not against it but Taco Bell I it's weird that they're the sponsor of this but I mean it makes sense if they're going to offer Refreshments in that space But I like the idea of having a weekend membership at a retirement community that nobody lives at and I don't have to deal with any of that other stuff like you get all the benefits right right 50 bucks for day pass 50 bucks for day pass and and I assume they serve Taco Bell yep they do weekend membership costs 100 50 includes overnight accommodations for the ticket and a guest unlimited access to the amenities Recreation dining and entertainments wow right when I think Taco Bell I don't think dining however no no there's a lot of places that I go mentally here and how are the the bathroom facilities is just was I was just immediately going there I just but apparently the Cantinas are opening their do August 17th oh boy we'll have to not be there I definitely want to I want to see it I want to see it to believe it for myself but maybe they're on to something with these retirement communities and when I think of Taco Bell I don't necessarily think of the older demographic no maybe that's why they're working on it I think of the younger demographer who just runs in and out of Taco Bell and they love Mexican food or not the word runs in anything that we talk about when we're talking about this it's just no I'm sorry yep and then there are the folks who are offended by the um coconut trees or fake coconut trees that are going up at the Margaritaville in hyenas oh now this is the new gripe this is the new gripe ah they're not appropriate they don't well it's Margaritaville folks they're gonna put up coconut trees fake not whatever I feel like that this has been a weekly conversation about something that is going up that is not Cape Cod enough for people right when it's just you're you're upset about the resort you need to pick it apart weekly to complain about it it's going to oh well I'm gonna say it's going to bring people to the cape which may be part of the problem and I think when they get here they're going to be disappointed to find out where it is in relationship to um sandy beaches and yoshan and everything else you stay inside the resort right you stay inside the resort yeah you can't wander out of your room and walk onto the beach and my I had to at one point in my care radio career read a commercial that said scenic route 132 and hyenas and I'm like is this a typo do do I have to seriously I have to say that scenic route 132 Scenic as in I've seen it maybe what what part of Route 132 maybe near the college where there's like trees I possibly other than that no there's nothing Scenic about Route 132 and that's the problem that people are going to have when they go to Margaritaville I mean I'm sure you remember initial PR about it yeah I do nestled in historic hyanis and well speaking of which C and all no we are having a fabulous fundraiser for eforall at Margaritaville so if you want to see it in all of its Glory grab yourself a ticket just go to eforall Cape Cod when is that is going to be happening like in the in the fall like the beginning of fall it's like the shoulder season Once the new cohort starts and all that is happening and it's a big fundraiser that they're putting on which I'm really looking forward to and I love a good Gala right in which you can wear a Hawaiian shirt this to me screams happiness I am so lowkey I am not one of those people that is pring in in the outfits and if if I have to wear heels and I have to stuff my feet and no no no that's not you not for me give me a good margarita Ville Gala with a Hawaiian shirt and this mama is that they you know sort sort of like The Flintstones and we were growing up yeah the kids found some stuff funny the adults found other stuff funny there's a lot of movies out like that right now I want to see the feelings one the feelings one the emotions one which one's that one which one's that one well let's look at it's a cute little animated one and um there's a lot of cute little animated I don't really have any little people to go see animated things with anymore so inside out thank you Emily yes inside out yes yeah that's a good one I think that's number two this I'm waiting for Savannah to be big enough so that I can go do fun little kid stuff with now because I don't have any little people in my my Vortex right now so right well Mariana has already hit me up to take her to show them the ropes and they were they were catching on I've got to work my way through we've got like four five new people we got to get on that's really exciting so it's it's taking a little time all done right right we're just I I gotta do one at a time he's just one man that's right and he's got a house full of guests and a Full Slate of activities the real estate thing and here I am putting more on his plate sorry and I'm on Lemon Ado six days a week soon to be seven so and he doesn't sleep and it's hot outside so so don't mess with me I swear to God that's why you want to come on the show sometimes we got to get it all it's therapy here yes it is it is it really is speaking of therapy I saw that uh Bob Dylan and the band were putting together 27 albums of a compilation really they're still talking to each other right because usually at that point don't they not talk to not talk to each other anymore I don't know I just don't feel as if this is anything that I need in no I don't think there's a need he's on tour actually money but Dylan's on tour and I was like so I always want I'm like is are you broke or bored yeah like what is it what are we doing here seems to me mar and I'm not judging I'm always just really curious for people's motivations for things it's one of my weird ticks why are you doing this what what is tell me your motivation go seems to be Mari saw him once and she said he was incredibly boring he is guys not a popular thought but I don't like Bob Dylan no he can't sing he can write really really I do like the hurricane probably one of my favorite songs right it's in my top 10 of life but other than that I'm just like h i don't rainy day women 87 like what a I don't get it I had L lady I mean when L lady L came out wbcn played it back to back to back to back for I don't know how long is it like we're going to like this song we're all going to like this song together we're just going to continue to play it until you just sing it like an earworm no no no because the title was play Lady play that's sad and that's why they kept playing it over and over again the sadness of envelope pushing I played a game what was the game Mora that you made us play the other night when we had our girl sleepover which by the way my husband thinks is weird when girls have their sleepovers more dirty minds dirty minds is the name of it so you're giving Clues so that somebody guesses a certain item but it's a they're runchy Clues oh okay but it's your mind that's the dirty mind because they're just saying words oh okay oh that's interesting yeah it's actually kind of funny and we had a really good time but it was like a little bit too I I just couldn't get my brain to not go to the dirty Place well geude that's a stunner so I so I couldn't think listen I went to bishopan what do you want from me so my Uncle Dave blames everything on my aunt's Catholic school education that's why she has a dirty mind she went to Bishop fan right that's why that is you fan girls I have to hear it all the time when we get together we were actually the worst ones yeah boredom mostly so yeah we were playing this game and it it was actually kind of fun mhm I don't know if it's got longevity or if it was better for the original version because this was like the extended version you know when you play Cards Against Humanity and they add like the add-on Cards Against Humanity they're not as funny as the OG ones right but you've played so many times you've used all of those cards so you it doesn't have that same initial laugh right it's not as funny yeah because it's like okay yeah right ha right because you know because you know it's coming or something like yeah and I would definitely say some of the cards but I don't want to say that because I mean your mother-in-law's watching and we can't have that well Jen is cool it's okay I don't know about that Beverly Victoria Jen I don't want to be the cause for anybody's anxiety Heat make sure that our furry little friends uh they are wearing fur coats so let's just make sure they have ample water and they are enough right shaded area even then it's miserable oh yeah here on Cave Cod where we originated it's going to be like in the 80s it's GNA feel like yeah pushing maybe 90 it's just a heat blanket I don't need to be wearing it's terrible yeah AC days everybody uh Robin is going to be out tonight over at 10 pin eery so if you need a cold place with a cold drink inside where you feel nice and safe and chilly uh Sheamus you can bring the kids and they can go play in the arcade this is why I like that space buger off going to have a little grownup time Sheamus is back behind the bar we've got a great round of trivia this week it's really fun you know we're talking about the naysayers commenting on things prob inappropriate remember when they first opened that everybody's reaction was oh God that'll never work what are they doing that for that's such a dumb idea bowl and Alley blah nobody's gonna that thing is a huge success they're very busy it's just a it's a great space and we are going to be having our Feud live that's going to be cool yeah I'm really excited we are working cliff and I just started talking about the questions and uh we've got some poll questions that are going to be coming out during all of our trivas so we're going to get actual real life kcod data so it's not just where you're watching The Family Feud and you're like where are these hundred people you are going to be the hundred people that are going to be answering these most on the board Feud live questions so I'm really excited to be gathering some of these informational stuff so if you've got a moment to answer these questions if we send them out to you in an email if you see us posting about them on our social if you're at one of our live trivas just know that you're contributing to our database of these Feud live questions and answers so you are definitely part of this game show whether you like it or not it's just going to be really fun so I think you were saying the other day you're going to film it or tape it or record it or whatever and then it's going to be played back on the on the local cable we're going to be releasing the local cable access channels yeah so you'll be able to see these little game shows our little hoopy Cap Cod game show that we're putting together and it's going to be a lot of fun so we're doing that August 2nd and it is going to be at Ryan's 10pin eery inside of the cave Cod Mall and it is from I believe 5: to 7 of us are going to be there we want wings I just need a good number that we are going to give him by the 22nd of July and the demolition derby 24th of July smashing crashing at the Barnes bokani Fair lemon Ado is going to be there right on the sidelines and I'm so thrilled to be back I feel like we did this event when I started on 963 the rose a million and five years ago and cat was a part of it um now gone DJ alvy was a huge part of it and it was just one of those super fun events that my family grew up being at I've got pictures of having Cody on my front and Lily on my back walking around throwing stuff out to the crowd like they were so little and they were a part of this uh so it's just really exciting to have this back as a lemon Ado event and to be able to just be a part of it so I'm pretty pumped about it demolition JY July 24th we will be all there to help because Megan has Wednesday nights off I mentioned it to going and of course Mariana's coming and Mario will be there and perfect you can meet the whole clan yeah meet all of the lemonade o crew are going to be there and it's just really a fun family show right there get that spot lady yes I know Sarah said for a while um she was doing mushroom therapy and I can say it developed her what de daily attitude more focused less trauma other good benefits and that's fabulous I I love that any looking we're looking thought about the MC okay but he got stung in the face by a bee oh he was sharing a swollen eye yesterday on social ouch like why are you sharing that with people but I also I appreciate it a man of the people right oh he is no he he is he he's one of those guys that you could that you would see walking through the airport by himself just like well K Reeves does it all the time but nobody even recognizes a regular dude he married a regular wife they have their regular life it's just I I appreciate it yeah you need to have some sort of grounding I feel like when you live in that Hollywood craze right yeah and I think that Camila gives that to him and his family stuff it's like I think he strives for that well he lives down in Texas he's not part of the part of the Hollywood crowd they are having a time right now let me tell you as somebody who used to be utility guy Texas brought this on themselves Texas not the people but the government the government Texas is not connected to the other 49 states to get power they they are their own it is really bad closed grid and this is what happens so hurricane Barrel came through they've got they many people there's so many people without utilities at this point and the heat is absurd right absolutely absurd heat related illness and injury is happening now on top of all of that it's absolutely awful and because they're not connected to anyone else no one's gonna come and help them yeah it's not like you know when we have storms around here and if there's a you know a lot of snow or something you'll see trucks from um um other parts of the like Ohio where they didn't have a bad storm they're coming in to help bring back the power they're not doing that for Texas well they're goingon to have to rely on some private citizen volunteership because it is really bad right now and I'm like watching the stories come out of it I'm like I can't it's it's Houston area um in particular got got hit but it's just so ridiculously warm down there anyway mari's going to a conference down there in um in Dallas at the at the end of August and I'm just like who chose let's see we're going to do this conference and Dallas let's choose the end of August yeah was hell unavailable just curious apparently not these choices people they're like we got a really good deal everybody stay in the convention center oh that's exactly what the hotel is connected to the convention center and and you only go out at night maybe I wouldn't even do that no no I did it twice I went to Dallas twice and I was like Mar you go you fun just going with going with the girls it's not a it's it's a real estate conference and there's not a lot of guys who I know who are going yeah so it's the it's the wives and and and all of that that's great go have a good time I ain't going I couldn't think of a place I would like to be less no and here's the thing once you've seen Dallas you've kind of seen Dallas at least from from my perspective I mean because we don't have a car I don't know where I drive to anyway but but the hotel is located over where you know de plaza where President Kennedy was assassinated all you know all of that there's some you know spots right around that you can walk to and and get to okay I've seen it I don't need to see de Plaza yeah several times I was creeped out the first time yeah that's a one in 10 and and we were with people who did not I mean obviously I remember that but we were with people who you know had no memory of it all and they were creeped out by it yeah it's just a it is weird do you want to go watch where someone died it's not like no yeah it's it's just it's it's just a weird place yeah and there's I've told this story probably not for a while but um there were ex's on the um on the street that show the spots where president and then the president and and Governor Conley were shot I mean you can stand like right there oh that's where the that's where the president got hit the first time I'm good and then you turn around and and you look up at the the the window at the book um The Book Depository the window's still open where we Lee ja oswal allegedly creepy and you have to say allegedly there's a there's a plaque in the building that says Lee Harvey Oswald allegedly assassinated President John F Kennedy you have to say allegedly because he never went to trial C
