were in a entrepreneurial book club where Stephanie never read the right book and Stephanie was terrible at this book club I really sucked at book club I did not fabulous I'm what I just had a visual I just had a vis proud of it hi every one look who I've got in the studio it's been a while some bright red wonderfulness yeah a little joy for your morning I've been need yeah I've been up meditating since about 3:30 oh well not me I got up I took some mcin X DM and I went back to sleep I have to get you some Elderberry because Elderberry believe me this time of year I'm already banging your your microphones haven't been in the studio in a while I guess graduation happened got the Summertime Blues already no Elderberry um helps with a with this yellowness that is outside that it's awful cuz it lands in your lungs while you're sleeping yep so that's exactly what I feel every morning I feel like I've been underwater for a little while I'll wake up and I'm like cat like I'm like a cat and I'm hacking up a fur ball or something it's awful Yay good morning to you hack up our fur balls together enjoyable over your coffee right it's time um it's actually World environment day and uh I love this this little fabulous witch over here she uh not only brings me food random spots thank you very much my arini was delicious y we couldn't I couldn't remember I've been so busy and you knew that which was why you were like felt the need to feed me real food well you weren't home I just came in I snuck in you know and there was a swath of males in here young males and I'm like I'm just going into the fridge and they're like are you bringing food yeah right you know so I just brought you food and ran away I'm bringing food but not for you you little Jackal all they do is eat me out a house and home those kids it's going to be a long summer Cody always is like is it mac and cheese he's um I'm gonna have some friends over you're gonna like take me to the grocery store because I SNS um okay he's just got a roundabout way of not being able to say no to him like there's never a question it's kind of like you just need to do this he he's such a good kid though I so we're at the farmers market and your oldest daughter she comes up to me and I hadn't seen her in what maybe a year or something like that and she back from California and the first thing she says is do you like my outfit and I'm and it was a bizarre outfit so I'm like um yes she's like my little B brother designed it because I ripped my pants so he went and bought shorts and he must think I'm a lot smaller than I am and he just got these shorts and they were tiny oh my God I know I was laughing she looked like a Solo Cup remember those like Little Dixie Cups those wax cups that's the design that she looked like to me when I looked at her I was like and where did we get this outfit from yeah she didn't care she walked around like hey I own this place you know exactly good morning Jackie thanks for joining us I've got Lisa Z who is a professor who is the designer of the witch dance I'm not the designer I'm I'm the facilitator how's that there you go um you just recently had sort of a gathering of witches a a coven so that's an interesting one so for those of you don't know there's this witch dance it started in Germany and it it goes viral everybody sees it in the United States usually around Halloween time but it it's like German techno music and belly dance style and people dress as witches but this has become a big thing in the United States where groups have created you know and they're all people like your age my age and and they you know and they they go and they do charity events they do parades dressed as witches and their families just think they're insane so uh last year I said okay the original German group they don't do it Halloween they do it on 4:30 that's their German Halloween basically okay and so I said we'll just do a worldwide witch dance and I just put it out there on social media now last year I think we had 1,400 people do it and this year all at the exact same time everybody did this dance I knew that there was one of our friends who is um in the in the Netflix realm of things that was uh videotaping you because I saw him later on in the day and I was like wait a minute I know you you've been in town before good morning Sam thanks for joining us are you talking about my new producer is that what it is yeah he's so we are doing a documentary called I dance with witches very cool yes very exciting a little scary but fun you have the biggest entrepreneurial space in your brain it's yes she is a professor yes she does run the Communications Department over at cap K Community College currently uh you're thank you so much for sharing your students with me oh I love when you come it's just so it's I love them you are so such a joy to them because they you know it's intense in ways because they're like oh my gosh I'm gonna be out live and this and that and but you bring so much fun to it well I hope like they get a little something out of it they have so much fun with you and it's it's so nice the people that get to do it with you and I appreciate it I hope it happens in this semester coming up and yeah for sure I really enjoy hanging out in there it's a great little space well you know we plus I get to be back on the dial and we did radio forever and and you we did radio forever and one of the things that I really liked when I kind of shifted from just doing radio to going into the college area is the creativity because in the commercial Market there's some of that creativity kind of got squashed down yeah absolutely and these students will be like can I talk about this and you're like yes as long as you're not swearing good you know and then they'll be like I can't not swear where minut they swear on podcast I'm like that totally different thing we have this thing called the FCC that we uh I had this conversation several times over the last two weeks about um just being uncomfortable around swearing just because I was on Commercial radio for 25 years so I'm like when I hear it I'm like oh you're get find oh wait no I could say that now you could go ahead be regular good morning Emily thanks for joining us um yeah it's it's just such a nice little space to hang out with him in fact I had one of your students last night who is training with me Tobias right Tobias Tobias is fantastic what a great kid he is so he's an adult yeah and and he was he wearing his cowboy hat he was he kind of does that whole Newsies you know little red CCH thing I saw him roll up with a cowboy hat and a flannel and I was like what it's like we're on the beach on a summer day but he rocked it yeah no he's good kid and he's funny and he's not shy so no it was really nice to have someone not even just like here give me the stuff all right and then by the end of it was like grabbing the microphone once it my turn I'm like oh okay we like you see I love the ones that come back I I'd rather have the ones that I have to reel in than the ones that I have to pull out of their yeah shells but you know what I don't get that many that I have to pull out of the shells anymore you know it's it's a certain type of program over at the college where you know if you're gonna get students and then not just communication Majors they're all like I have Funeral Service majors and Hospitality everything because he wants to be a writer and nursers yeah yeah he wants to be a writer absolutely and so but they come in because it's a creative creative and it's a retention tool too I mean yeah you go into that radio station you're gonna stay and you're GNA stay until you graduate you know it's kind of one of those well you've got a new certificate program that you're working on do it's a Content creation certificate so we had the radio and podcasting certificate and if you you know just what we're doing right here the same idea it's evolving so much the content creation kind of brings it a little bit more into what is happening out there so they blog they do social media they do video they do uh audio and these are students by the way of all ages I one of my favorite of your students Bruce oh my gosh Bruce is a bear who you can see him over at Trader Joe's working over there with a big smile on his face and he just came to us this year because he heard the station and he heard about the program and he is he's just a joy and he supports the students and he you know they all like oh is Bruce here you know why number one because he brings them snacks too but he listens to them you know he and he talks to them and he makes them comfortable and yeah it's it's really nice well I love the fact that mass reconnect is really bringing people back into the College of all ages and I feel like that's such a good Melting Pot for all-aged people to learn so for people who don't know what mask reconnect is is that 25 plus right now you can go to Community College as long as you don't have a degree you can go for free it's incredible yeah absolutely and and you know we were one of the first John Cox over at the college is fantastic the president I mean the nurses Go for free no matter what age there's just so much support system but yeah you just you have to fill out a financial aid form but that doesn't mean like if you're making money you don't have to worry about that part it's just a formality right and yeah you go for free they pay for your books you know it's it's it's nice you can just keep taking classes you know uh some students I've found like they might be going to a four-year school and they kind of coming back and do the reconnect to get some of those so they don't have to pay that higher price right and then the other thing too is if you know you have a student that's kind of just coming out right out of high school if they do their two years at 4 C's and they get a certain GPA which is not a hard one you can go to one of these other state schools for the same tuition as for so I mean UMass and Bridgewater all of them are pretty expensive s State you know so you get the same tuition as foresees that carries over to a Salem straight or or you Mouse right yeah exactly that's was on our radar for for Lil um she just happened to get the the grants and the funds to be able to go to Salem and it's nice for her to go off she needs to go she needs to go I adore her we made our deposit but she's got to go and now you got a little friend in Salem so well I'm gonna be shooting Salem and so I'm going to come see her and find I think it's a perfect spot for her you two very much connect um not only in the the witchy department but also in the garden department yeah the gardening I love it and she and I yeah we always are talking she comes over she's like I brought you something and it was like herbs I'm like yay thank you you know she's just a sweet little girl you've been a gardener for probably your whole life I have been my father was a gardener and it's funny because this year I'm redoing my Greenhouse my father Built My Greenhouse he used to have I think he had five and he'd build them and he' take them down after the growing season so mine's been up the whole time since I've I've had it and um it needs a little little TLC and such but yeah no I've always gardened I I the the connection with the Earth so if I'm in a nasty mood I was in a bad mood yesterday the second I get my hands in the dirt just just okay I'm back to that place I need to be I feel like everybody forgets that sometimes to just get your feet on the ground or tug a tree literally as we're here on world environment day good morning Chrissy thanks for joining us uh Mari Hi how are you good morning yeah just getting your feet in the ground I think is a little thing I think that that's what's unique about our mashby farmers market that we have going on it's just that nice green grass and the wonderful trees it's just such a wonderful magical area I you know I love the knockabout the the original knockabout I Absolut I just think that's a magical area but I absolutely love this farmers market I added more in because I I love the people I love all the dogs walking through I love the green and uh each time I go I'm discovering new people and new things to buy I got Swiss chard the other day made Swiss CH Swiss chard mash potatoes I've never B you those it's so good and uh yeah just nice I love it little blue and Falmouth has been making rhubarb Tarts and I was so excited for one Sunday morning I'm like where are they she's like I sold out of them and I'm like no and the pickles Amina is killing it right now with her pickle game she sells out each time yeah K pickle is very good C Island's produce has been fantastic Harvest Moon has been amazing the Silva Farms with their chicken and their tomato plants uh and we're adding more Farms we've got a micro greens guy Zach coming this week excellent we're adding I just started a micro greens myself Co I'm starting to do a little bit hyr product stuff too but I what I love it's definitely a community space where you can go and you can talk to them it's not like I'm not going to tell you how to how I did this or people are so open about where they sourced things from how they got things what they're doing with it I think it's really really just a cool educational spot and I love so my tent is a hippie tent you guys can't miss where where I am but I do the mushroom um mushroom coffee mushroom grow kits I love these mushroom grow kits so much but if you've grown mushrooms if you've done it at home with a log it takes a while but these are fun because you can do it right on your desktop so even some of the farmers were like I'm grabbing one of those you know putting in yeah because they're easy to grow and you know what after you grow them um you can soak them again and then grow I got two or three grows out of the last time I did a boxit like that yeah this company that work with they they definitely mine I started a few days ago and it's already it's huge and I'll bring it this weekend to show everybody we want the mushrooms Chrissy uh don good morning Ted Murphy two of my favorites TM Murphy mine too you were taking some writing classes I am taking classes with him so yeah that's a different Netflix show right I've had a story that's been going in my head for a while I with several stories but but Ted you know not him doing the adult writing classes it's just such a nice warm small group and you support each other whatever genre you're you're writing in and it's just really nice I know he always did the kids but this is a nice situation I and I really love Ted and he's the one who kind of introduce me to my producer so it totally works I love this community that we have built for ourselves with our little Makers Market and now with the full-on farmers market thank you Emily she said the mashby farmers market is amazing we rock do it every single week make sure you come and visit us because you never know what you're going to find and we keep adding amazing cool people every week you know what I like too is so the first hour because I think church is still in session right so the first hour is kind of quiet like so this weekend I'm going to do a wellness SE session I'm going to do meditation and energy healing and this by the way is free for you to come with your family any way you feel grab a blanket grab a a mat you know we have some stuff available but the grass is just really nice to lay on right and I I'll be doing that and then all of a sudden the musical kick on and and each week has been different the first week was kind of reg rappy type of thing and then this past week was old standards I was kind of grooving it was nice and then I just love all the people and this week we've got Dan sturis who's just a one guitar guy and uh Ted Murphy actually connected us oh nice so we we've got him um we've got uh specialty programming coming up um and we've got special days we've got pet day we've got I'm gonna do I'm gonna do uh healings with the pets amazing power of produce is coming up and that's going to be our first one that's on the 23rd so Vanna pachella is going to be there on her keyboard and uh kids can come and get registered you get a little token and you can go and pick a fruit or a vegetable for two or three dollar just so they can try something new yeah and we're going to do pop parties once a month and it's going to be extra kid geared we absolutely gear this towards kids and families for you to come Lauren from old places is just Fant she's magic she is Magic right you got the bubbles the parachute the kids oh you want to face paint now all right we're going to go into the blowup dance party like let's go yeah she hot and sweaty in there let's do it yeah she's so fun she's just you've surrounded yourself and I believe me this is what I think though when you put yourself in a certain and I'm not getting all woo woo but energy area where you're positive and you're you're giving positive you attract positive people and that's what you've done with all of this and I I love it you know I hope so I mean you and and I were both uh working for the same company and were released uh what was it and I how long what was the wording that they used replacing me with I Ai and a voice with my name on we were dislocated from our job is what they said I was like what does that mean can you pop me back in because I don't like being out here this is weird yeah but you know it's funny because and and I wanted to mention this too when I when I was coming here I was thinking about it so we both one of the things I think right after that happened it was 2020 by the way it's right as pandemic started the void and and that shot in the heart that H happened to me most was that all the community events that we had done were suddenly kind of taken away from us and or just you just didn't feel like you had the voice for them you know or the vehicle for them and I think that everything that we have both done in our paths has brought us back to it and it's Stronger Yeah it's absolutely stronger and I mean you're so in the community and I don't hear about some of those big companies actually well they're not Community Based anym which is a shame because we had family we did have a family there and um but it's you know and it's so nice to there's no bodies there anymore it's not real people I know and it's unfortunate that that's what happened but I love that we recreated it in a in a more actual Community fashion yeah no and and and God love them do do what they have to do and I I just like this path that is going forward and uh I love all the college and the and not just College the community and the commercial radio stations that are down there I'm still friends with everybody and I place my students in those areas just changed it's just changed quite a bit is very different um but I'm so thankful to you for your unwavering support in just me as a human uh thank you how can I not you're amazing didn't I I zero value you knew you saw me at my absolute hot mess lowest of lows I'm like what the hell am I supposed to do with this I brought you to I brought you to get a massage and we we were we wore robes and we went to marabo with masks on and all you could see was my eyes and all I did was cry so I don't know how I feel but that's where lemonad was born right we talked about it that day that day we were sitting there and I'm just like oh my God and I was like Cliff said lemonade I hate that and you're like I don't know you're like I'm just your friend love and light I don't know I'm not giving you anything oh thank you Ruth I appreciate it she said so excited you pulled it off what's up Liz and uh so sad to see the local radio station I know it is sad but things are changing and that's like will full circle go back to the content creation certificate that you're doing at the college like this is why things have to change right they just of life and there's so much more now and we were seeing the beginning of that when when we um when the the worldwide stations and stuff kind of well it was like radio and then it was like influencer stuff and podcasters but it was a little forced it was like you have to do this right now you have to blog so many times but you seeing too like you know Jackson I mean one of the most creative people I know Jackson Blue now he's recently in the the land of where we were at that point right and and so it's not about Talent it was about numbers um with us anyway I was looking for the sheet that I had when I worked for terrestrial radio that the demands of what you had to do every day after your shift and I was I keep it here with me just to be reminded of I don't have to do that crap anymore and I was a part-timer and I had those sheets too so yeah interesting and and I never thought of it that way I always thought of it as given back to the community and that's the same thing that I think we're still at I neither of us neither of us are are rich we we we're rich in our experiences that we get to we choose to we choose to take our money and travel you know the bills are always going to be there right um but you know but the the feeling that you know like I don't have to do the farmers market you know why I do it because I want to heal a world and I've told you this I've told other people this I've found some things that heal people I mean I'm a lot skinnier if you haven't seen me I'm 70 pounds down and I just have a different lease on life and I want to share that with other people people healing and such you took a leap of faith you went to to you went to Spain you're like I'm going to this Wellness Retreat I don't know how it's going to go for me good morning Roberta hi Robert you're funny Danielle hi hey Chris and Margarita hi from Providence thanks for joining us we got West Coast we got East Coast um you took a a leap of faith in your Wellness journey and went to this space in Spain with random people you've never met all by yourself I didn't even tell my husband the address and I didn't realize that till afterwards he thought he's like I thought it was part of your your big plan uh yeah no um Co kind of like it was weird because I was teaching the teachers how to teach online too that was a big part of it so I was behind my screen literally 16 to 20 hours a day it was like and constant and I kind of just changed my whole path yeah and so the retreat in Spain was lovely um Vana Silton and I got to teach like one class of it of this Retreat it was two weeks in Malaga Spain beautiful and the next week I next year I went back and I was the assistant and then I just came back from sicy totally different but yeah I think that the travel is part of the whole wellness and and and Sh because it shakes up your environment I'm we're about to go uh away and I'm really looking forward to that space and I need that environmental shake up also to see how other people are living I think it's just a really good reminder of like the things that you bring back with you and I think it's a different vibe in the way that we're I know a lot of people would think that you and I are constantly running constantly running but I I enjoy constantly running yeah but when you do go to these different places you see a different rate of speed a different value system and yeah and don't get me wrong I've worked um more in the last four years than I have worked probably in the last 20 um but I am well rested I the love every single day of it and I get up with the excitement to do more of it so uh I don't know whether that's because you know an object emotion stays in motion or if it's because I'm actually joyful about the work that I'm doing I think it's I I think it's the second thing yeah right because it's not it doesn't feel like work when you're doing these things because you don't have to do it I don't think I don't think you do anything that you have to do I mean there might be a day that you're like oh my gosh I'm tired I need to right get someplace but no you enjoy it so yeah we we're very blessed good morning Junior and Jenny thanks for joining us we've got a whole slate of activities events on Cap Cod is growing it's our new group on Facebook we've reached over a thousand people we're getting some more love yeah it's just it's it's jumping because I have it an open Forum I don't care where the event is from I don't care who's putting it on you don't have to pay to play just put up your stuff share it with us yeah and a few of the sites in the past were always they were run by yeah or run by a certain like media companies and so only certain things got out or hard hard to navigate to get the stuff on so you made it really so I'm just like you know what just go put your stuff there and and share it with everybody because I think we all need to know what each other is doing and I'm so sick of someone like oh I didn't know about that I didn't know about that just share it events on capecod.com please find our little Facebook group that is growing by Leaps and Bounds because it's share with it oh well you need to get your rear end to the cape yes and if you love what you do it is not labor thank you very much Ashley Irene I had the opportunity to hang out with them last night e for all graduations for last night the money was awarded yes we don't do it for the money but it also helps a little bit when you get to buy something nice for your business um mean p toown Burger has got them themselves a new screen I think Justin just got a small educational class for his watercolors and uh I love it it's been a really it's been Transcendent for me to find other humans that are positive excited doing new things passionate about what they want to do exactly yeah and I I took a class and I mean free classes and things like I believe in it that's how Kristen starts every meeting how much is he for all free yeah no it's it's fantastic it's just nice to talk about pain points it's nice to be able to have a community in which you can just be like this is what I'm dealing with and then somebody else is like oh I dealt with this and this is what I did yeah because I think when you're starting a business or you're starting a passion project you're like what do I do next you know there's so many bills some are some and some people don't know how to do the either the social media part of it or the bills part of it or get funding and and this helps yeah it is a great day Junior it is the weather has been so nice I don't even because I don't want to ruin it for us here on the East Coast we just kind of suck it up what it is do I know junior junior um captains maybe I do I know a lot of captains and swich Taverna okay yes then him in uh Thanos were on my show Fairly recently I but such a good work culture you know their family they treat their employees very well there's always like fun and games and gift cards and incentives us I used to do the events there so well you know her husband Jimmy Jimmy leg Jimmy call Jimmy 6 fo8 entrepreneur Rand a restaurant you just posted a photo of Jimmy BLT oh I know Jimmy's BLT I I think it's been has it been 14 years it's been yeah it's been a while unbelievable we had so much fun at that restaurant and that was after the Brewing Company because we had the higho Brewing Company with our partners and so Jimmy did the food there yeah so Jimmy's my husband you know the restaurant tour big tall Jimmy he he's great at starting restaurants you know so he's designed quite a few you know of the kitchens and the menus and he trains the staff and then he's moved to different ones but you know he stayed with Jamie and supern Nut family forever you know and uh yeah so I don't know what the question was but uh yeah so Jimmy's BLT yeah Jimmy's BLT that was a fun restaurant it was on 151 and uh great little breakfast spot and and the people that have it now are doing well but I think that you two are really good together because you're like not afraid you're like well we're going to go all in on this project oh I know we're going to we're going to do this project and we're going to see it till the end whatever it is it's going to be but you support each other in that yeah yeah and I loved the I said I think on my post I was like with the best window boxes because I did I did like the menus and I did like the the socials and I did the window boxes I loved my window boxes they were best ones in mashby you know but yeah it was such a fun experience we had we had that and then now he's of course at crisp flatbread and crisp 2 and my son's there yeah my son's behind the bar one day a week oh my gosh it's 21 I remember when you were pregnant with Zachariah I know and I told everybody's name was going to be Elvis on the on the cake it said welcome Elvis so you get a bunch of gossby radio witches in there and we're all like Elvis the kids name is Elvis and you know and my son is like why didn't you name me Elvis like Zachariah is pretty good except for you get he gets pulled aside at every airport every trip for some reason for his name oh I don't know why strange yeah well I thought it was just because he was famous because he's been in movies before and because he's handsome he's got an IMDb by the way so you can go on and see him you can't miss him right he's taller than Jimmy so I can't but I honestly like we have known each other that long and I remember just sitting at that baby shower and I'm like I cannot believe our children are old enough to just be actual humans themselves remember Kenzie in the stud right you know I'm like oh God Kenzie hanging in the studios and you'd be like hey why don't you go visit Lisa in the next studio for a while just go hang out with her for a little while byebye now I'm like come on come on you know yeah you and I find ourselves in this these fun adventures if you will our JW's this year are from Jamaica and you and Jimmy love Jamaica yeah we've been to Jamaica I want to say 16 times I just remember you jumping off the cliffs yeah well I don't jump off the high cliff anymore no we get to a point where we're like we're good we're good thanks but they were they're so funny they were telling me about their last summer where they lived in Yellowstone okay and they were like they're bison everywhere like they're not afraid bison are everywhere then I read in the news today 83-year-old woman gored at Yellow Stone by a bison and I was like oh my God and then they said their response from the um whatever environmental agency was like they are not fluffy cows what can you imagine going on a summer vacation and getting gored no by a bison by a bison but apparently there like a huge problem there they said they would go back to their dorm rooms at night block I will remember that next time I go don't go near the Bison everybody it's been a wild wild animal situation around here apparently we had a flamingo at chapen beach yesterday oh my gosh Lisa was like was it plastic like no it's a real Flamingo when was the last the global warming yall yeah I don't know I want to go back to the Bison for a second because I'm pictur I haven't met your J once but I'm just picturing because the Jamaican girls are very expressive so I'm just picturing the time they see ad bison they're afraid of everything they're afraid of my dog how about the turkeys have they seen turkeys no I don't think that they've seen them they'll scream though they're they're afraid and then when I told them that Jaws was here they were like we're not going in the water I'm like you're fine in the pond no thank you because you were asking about den and I was like oh no they're fine they're afraid of everything they're not going to go there pink flamangos tell them about right we got to go see the flamingo oh my God right so bizarre there's a photo of it it was captured it's not a prank it is actually here now how long did they stay with you um they'll be here until I think September you've done this how many years now a couple years five oh wow five years we've done j1's and then before that we had o pairs I think that that was like it was just such a really good experience for Kid K baseball league too or no no bo we never did that no boys now my husband's like we have girls we can't have boys yeah I'm like that's fair I get it yeah but you get a hold their teenage boy now too God do we ever all they do is eat me at a house in home and smell bad he is so tall and I have a and I have a tall one right well I got a call last night as we're in the middle of trivia mom I broke my basketball H but I think I found all the parts and I'll will put it back together all I'm working and I only work for like two hour periods you know what though you Embrace this because then you you know cuz when your daughter goes off to college and you don't have those little calls like I can't find this I think I'm going to like my life a little I don't know just for five minutes you're gonna hug her so hard when she comes home though trust me I will miss them but I I would like to miss them more than have them irritating me for everything good morning Swan did I hear about the flying spiders on the East Coast can why is that my Swan yes I love my Swan she's my Swan too no she's not she's mine she I'm keeping her I'm keeping it was very funny we were Swan and I ran into each other at the Methodist Church all over the cape you'll see popup plant sales or native plant sales or places where you can just get some good heirloom yeah starters and uh we both happen to pop up onto like the one because we're both like oh plants must go even though I have 15 that are not even in the ground right now that are around my house at some place Swan Swan will help you with that oh my god I've got to find this space for him uh so we ran into each other and she was talking about graduation so fores just recently had their graduation pour and rain right was it no it didn't rain during us it rained during the the pinnings okay yeah it didn't rain during the whole day was like a terrible day and I think it like cleared up right for graduation period yeah this one was so cute because I was the last speaker of announcing the names and she's like why didn't you do all of them you calmed me down she like the minute I heard her get on the the mic microphone uh right Christy thanks for joining us on the show Jameson speaking as a former teenage boy sometimes we're the worst thank you I don't get at that mentality but I think it's just a lot of hormones and snacks yeah and video game time lot of video games my my son the other day you said he's like remember that time you banned me from video games for a whole summer I'm like I don't remember what you did but right yeah but they remember so I did my job course because it was Monumental to them and we did our job that's it I did the job you turned out to be a good kid so no I you were saying something the other day and I honestly think that that is one of the best things that my husband and I ever did was raise these tiny humans to be you know functioning cool people yeah we were talking about that yeah yeah this time about Kenzie yeah because Kenzie you know it's it's my labor of love because well because she's in California you know and now and so when she comes back and I said she is she's just as hysterical as you so I just I and she's manyi you she's got a great sense of humor I think and I you know L is starting to look more like you too I know she doesn't like that so we're not allowed to say that I was like ghost to Christmas Future kid well then you got then you got the little one who looks just like his dad I was I made no I was just a vessel to birth another one of my husbands the two of them walk the same they have like the same mannerisms when you get them side by side sometimes I'm like oh God so we're embarking on this trip together and we do actually travel very well but the two of them are very similar they're germaphobes they don't like sharing food they don't like certain things and Lily and I are kind of just like this ball of wherever we feel like going very different in Europe that's the one thing I think that Americans don't get like like the farmers markets everything is out and like you know you can just take and and taste everything and and my Markin are like right yeah germs I know they're also really super familyfriendly they love seeing amilies together um and this was my vision for making the mashby farmers market a place where all of us can go and just hang out you don't have to buy something if you don't want to it's great if you do you're supporting small businesses I ran into a woman yesterday who is also dislocated for my radio show and she was like I went to the farmers market I went for cap shark but I didn't realize it was a nonprofit and I didn't realize you guys were behind it I'll support it more now I'll help you with your branding and I'm like great awesome like the more the merrier because uh to get the word out is really difficult because we are so fractured of finding things and spaces and it takes a real long time to get the ball rolling sometimes and I do want to make mention of that for our baby entrepreneurs and small businesses it takes a long time to Foster this well I was absolutely amazed that you took this on you know you did the you did the makers Market over at knockabout and which was really cool and fun and you know creative Vibe and then when you ever said you're going to do the farmers market and then take the whole nonprofit and all these different things because you're already giving so much to the community I'm like how are you gon to pull this all together and you did and it's great yeah and this is just the beginning we've only had two right and it's already growing and people are learning about it and it's nice central location too yeah it definitely helps the location for sure thank you very much to and I like I like that it's just you know and then new knock about like it's kind of a little back from the commons too yeah and nice parking plenty of parking great uh Partnerships with the library who's got their summer reading and so many awesome programming please go support them but they're closed on Sunday right so we get to utilize their space and I'm so thankful for that and also working over the church they've got their um um food pantry that they are working they're looking for a $2 million renovation for that food pantry they feed th like thousands of people and uh it's awful but also wonderful that they said how do we get get involved and I said I we've got our giving table so that'll be out there this week please bring a non-p perishable bring something that you want we'll bring it over to the church at the end of the day uh if you need something no questions asked help yourself and take it off the table we don't care what's left at the end of the day is going to be donated to the food pantry now there was a woman uh with a cookbook next to me was it Tommy's place is that what it was that was a really neat charity as well yeah Esther yeah so um so it was so collecting recipes from the different restaurants right and then they do a cookbook and they sell the cookbook but I didn't even know about Tommy's Pace that's it's a place for children and the families the children have cancer right right so um Tommy's place is such a wonderful space uh it was named after Tom uh who was the founder of the Falmouth Road Race and so um that it's just such a wonderful organization they've got a house in fouth they now have a house in Centerville and they give vacations full week of vacation food um anded like just absolutely everything you would need to just go with your family and have a wonderful vacation and not have to leave well if you didn't want to so if you see out with these cookbooks you know there and they're real recipes from these restaurants I'm like oh exact recipes oh I've always wanted that I know some good ones and it's good for a good cause too nice to see her at the market so we've got a lot of wonderful authors that we support during our markets as well Linda who was my eforall uh mentee was there with her pitopia book and that is for um dealing with with kids and dealing with their emotions and uh I think I've got a book somewhere around here but it's just like another method or way of calming them we've all seen a child throw an absolute hissy fit and this book and this program that she is building really I've seen it in action settle a kid in seconds because they can talk about their emotions that's and point to like what is going on in their space even if they're non-verbal which is wild we've heard something that really could use that I I could use that as a grownup thanks H I'm I'm red I'm on red don't look at me this is what I need the farmers market is every single Sunday it is from 11 to 3 11 to 12 is our quiet Wellness time Lisa is going to be doing some meditation with everyone this week and this is completely free energy healing come and just feel better and then come and shop and and uh I connected with healthy eats Cape Cod and um her and I were just going back and forth we have fresh roll which is vegetarian and vegan food it was so good the buffalo cauliflower wings oh my gosh it was so good delicious you know it was so good I was so happy right so we've got real food we've got um local makers we got beer and yeah Sip and stle basically you know you can sip have a beer and walk around and talk to and look at all the different things I love maai shaved ice has been there and she's just so she's so wonderful she's also an educator and she's looking forward to her this is her summer job now she made one for herself well that's kind of you know I I'm not as I'm not teaching physical classes in the summer so I do more these type of events and just spreading Wellness you know that's my whole thing spreading Wellness so hi Susan I love your face Susan texted me all of the celestial happenings for the month of June you're talking about my Susan there too yes seems very busy out there I own all these people SW do me my sus they're all mine James in a theater troop I belong to improv Cap Cod might be reaching out yes that would be I would love that it's such a wonderful space please bring some improv we would love that very very much and we do Post events for Rhode Island as well we're branching out um Sandy has started Cog in New Bedford we we do trivia We Do music Bingo and uh we're branching out we've got a group in Colorado that uses our trivia we've got a group in Florida that is using our trivia right now so lemonade o is spreading yeah you well you've gotten my husband says he's actually actually gonna go out to do your family feud my gosh like we're gonna win and then he's like trying to figure out the best people to be on our team he goes it doesn't have to be family well it was very funny so Dino when I do trivia there on Monday came out and was like you know I was on Family Feud right I was like I forgot that you were on family Feud I forgot it's his claim to fame yeah right he's like do you remember that I was on so we're we're uh we're going to do our first one over at 10 pin eery and uh next week we're going to start soliciting for you to send a one minute video and it's not just your family it's your chosen fam whatever it is that you want it's a team of up to five so being a germaphobe you should tell your husband that he has to be you know the one that kisses everybody yeah right I don't think everybody even rememb Steve Harvey go be apprpriate first host it was from Hogan's Heroes yeah yep I can't remember his name gosh my husband be like that would be the first question drop it in the chat yeah I know right my brain is not on for that right now it's not in trivia kiss everybody oh like so inappropriate so gross oh by the way yeah overseas though too oh I know and sis sisily everybody you don't you don't know they just all kiss you on the cheeks and you know sometimes sometimes if you yeah sometimes did you move too fast you're like oh yeah all right something I have to get used to lot lot of lot of touching we we were at a table and my my girlfriend Tina was sitting there and um the waiter kind of liked her I could tell he sent over the musicians to play and this and that it was time to pay and instead of the table he's like you to her you follow me you stay there and the table of a Germans next to us they're like you follow her no like what's going to happen in the back room back there oh my God Jenny are you doing Koke doie if you are we should talk I'll get you bookings I'll find you places people always ask me and I'm happy to send it to you I you know we we'll do it in the background for something if somebody asks but I haven't done a full on karaoke night except for the mash B post prom party that was uh an interesting group of kids many many years of doing karaoke gong shows gong shows we used to do the gong shows all the different bars well I just did one at Liam McGuire's and actually some body came to my trivia last night and they were like you the judge at karaoke it was so fun really it really they more fun being K the judge then lugged in all the equipment true um but it was it was a really nice group of people that they fostered very supportive very fun very friendly very audience participation uh and it was just so warm anti- Gong Show it was like oh it was a nice little bubble of fun that we had a good time at they fostered a really fun program and they gave out a thousand bucks the girl that won ended up coming over every single week week for eight weeks from The Vineyard yeah I love the supportive on CU there was a time that they were very competitive and caddy and that those times are gone right yeah absolutely yes so we're we're doing our Viva Feud I can't call it Family Feud because uh naming rights and whatnot but we're we're going to do some sort of it's just going to be Feud live there's a Viva Selzer out there now yeah right I know I see the big Billboards and I reached out to them asking if they wanted to do a collab since they stole my name I'm they said yes but haven't sent me anything so I'll work on that for you thank you and all of my free time Cliff's like we need a salesperson I'm like I know Mama's hats are too many they're plentiful my friend Britney was in that oh she was so good Brittney was so good it was Britney is a human that I connected with on social media for years and years and years but never really met in person oh we need to talk about that so it was really nice to meet her in person and she sent me a message right after afterwards and she was like I always wondered what you would be like in real life like hope I didn't disappoint so you're I come here one day and I'm talking and there's young lady there and she's talking too and me and Stephanie and we're talking up a storm and it's about you know 45 minutes an hour later I'm like I gotta go hey we never officially Met she's like I'm Tori I'm one of your students now it was during the pandemic was online classes Tori would never turn her camera on ever ever ever she was so quiet quiet and and scared of it and I had talked to her in person it was so funny that I never met her and she she took my class and that's why she ended up with you right I had no idea Tori and I I took her on for one of the morning shows as part of the program that you and I were working on for the kids uh for the students during pandemic and then I was like we we just connected I had to force her to get on a microphone it's so funny so now we do our own podcast the first shop Morning Show please listen to us we were three days a week we're down to two we're trickling away for the summer we both get busy in our lives so we're on season five right now and we so much fun yeah she's fun she's beautiful and yeah she was so shy about it all and then she came through and it's so it just kind of shows also how education has changed because you would never think you could do radio and I could do radio with Studio students from a distance yeah and all of education has changed so you know you you have these high Flex classes so you can be in the classroom you could be at home so attendance is actually perfect half the time because people can be everywhere Alisa congratulations the winner last night of e for all's speaking of our theater troop with the Improv we gota we gotta talk we need to make one of these tea parties fly uh with extra characters I think that that could be super fun um anything that you want to say to everybody before we go come by Sunday come by Sunday so we're 11 to 3 but I'll be doing some meditation and Hypno energy session and I don't know how many people I'll have if you bring your
