and you've got a lot of stuff going on at work yeah um I have a tremendous amount of stuff that I've now assigned myself and uh we've got a great staff here with l80 we're doing some amazing things but I gotta tell you I am so frazzled and fried that I just need today yes because you're yeah we're getting together later today so we are fully caffeinated we've already told everybody at lemon ado.com listening to us there we are ready to go to kill somebody them out of coffee I've had let's do this surging through our Friday speaking of last night I got into I got into Province Town and I you know walked Rocco dropped him off and went to phes and there was a older couple next to me je I know we we'll go we'll do something else something I'm looking forward to and I'm going to suggest it later but anyway there's this uh older couple seniors that were s sitting next to me and they had a martini and uh you know Billy was asking do you want another one he's like no no only one I said why right where you going another one exactly it's fine it's not like push well again you're in Province Town you're not going to run over a small child it's fine where you going to go buddy where you how was your experience you said you had a Duncan story today oh my God so I placed my order and I'm like oh wow it's it's it's really early CU I was like all right I got to get on the the road at least by 6 so I can get here and be here at 7:30 fast forward to the fact that this man has been up since up 2 a.m. oh yeah I couldn't sleep I couldn't sleep I woke up I went to bed early like 10: after watching High Spirits something the new Teresa Caputo I love oh okay so I was watching that and then uh anyway I get up this morning and you know Roco is up ready go did that and I'm like oh wow you know it's going to be like 5:45 when I get to the dunks I'm like but it accepted my order so I get there it's dark I see but I see the lights in the back open and I and I I see the become that customer I see well I see I'm not there knocking on the window believe me but I pulled up but I saw and I knew exactly who it was the woman and she comes and she turns on the lights and she like I'm like okay so I come out of the car and she opens the door she's like did you place the online mobile order and I'm like yes I would be that one oh my God Jesus and I was like well and I looked on my on my map and they open at 5 there are no lights on and it's 5:45 come on get with it but anyway she says there are no Cooks here so I can't make the stuff you ordered but I can give you your coffee I'm like okay and she's like but I can I could get you some donuts it feel really bad I'm like okay so I named a couple donuts she threw in another one for me she's like you've never had it it's really good and I'm thinking The Cook's not here babe don't even start it's a bagel I ordered a bagel toast pay grade with strawberry cream cheese which is in a container it's not that difficult she needs a cook oh my god well she's like I'm so sorry I'm like it's okay I said and I was trying to be nice like it's not your fault she's like yeah I know it's not my fault I'm like yeah you can't boil water either right all right moving on then we go to the next one of course I I was like oh they have frozen drinks I'm gonna try a frozen coffee why what the taste was nasty I don't know I don't know if the milk was Sour or whatever and I was just like like I can't drink it but I had enough sips because I was like maybe you know it was just the bottom or something I had a little bit more had a cigar and of course when you have a coffee and cigar it's like it gets you going so nothing tastes okay and I was I waited to get closer to you to order our coffee I'm like I'm gonna have a real coffee and iced black coffee and get your latte but first I had to stop and wreck the bathroom so I did that well good morning everybody and while I'm there I'm placing the mobile order and I'm like yeah it'll be readyy then I came here good morning Rebecca so there's my morning I think you were just so excited to come and see me is what I heard from all of that yes I'm so happy to be here that's what I'm gonna take it is National goof off day so I thought that you know right this is the place for you oh my god I've sent my work email already I'm done out of here yeah we did all the real work I have to do for today which is not true I have to put together a whole presentation I know and I've got meetings which I don't normally have on Friday but it's one of those things we're getting closer to the seon and around here even though it does not feel like spring oh my God it was the day after the first day of spring that I went outside and I had to chip off ice to get to the college yesterday today that flood warnings exactly well this weekend yeah flood watch today um yeah yes was it yesterday the day before I was like I when I was doing the windows you it like sticks you're like it's like you're peel unpeeling something y the door was that way I'm like it's 27 degrees it's supposed to be spring good morning Rebecca hey David hey Liz what's going on thanks for joining us eight dates that she's doing in Las Vegas from June 19th to July 6th you know I'm a cheapo I can't pay for sh shows like that I know but I had the you know monsters code pre-sale oh so I went in for you know shits and giggles and looked at the price oh my God it's obnoxious $2600 because you know I have just to see Lady Gaga well you know I have to sit I know in a certain area the prince needs to sit where the prince needs to sit and I'm not complaining he gets good seats well that's the thing I was going to wear my Rock and Roll Hall of Fame the first one that outfit because I would have see for me that's that's money well spent because you're seeing so many people I'm like I feel like I'm getting a lot of bang for my buck Rebecca said she just laughed out loud at you wrecking the roor is you know he's pretty leathered so that was super fun this week um well you had said a meme to kick off the week that I thought was super funny I don't know why Paul rdd is now circulating in the internet other than the fact that he's he's a Swifty well and then he doesn't age he he is a vampire he's sold to Soul of the devil but you sent me this meme that was him next to Wilford Brimley in the movie Cocoon right in which Wilford Brimley was 49 years old in cocoon because you sent me down a rabbit hole I didn't send you down a rabbit hole that is all on you so the way my brain works is if I see something on the interwebs I'm not a sheeple I'm not just G to forward it off no I'm gonna she doesn't just accept it no I've got to do a deep dive to find out where this came from who are the players where is it now what is the Baseline of that how did it get here where are we going from here it's really a problem I know you're the nine-year-old with internet access that's exactly what trust when I tell you that Wilford Brimley was a bodyguard for somebody famous he was but you don't remember the famous person I don't remember the famous person because the famous person was so old that I was like how is he that old like brck Crawford or something it it was really ridiculous so it was him next to Paul R who was 53 in the meme at the time and I was like people don't age the same like when we talk about The Golden Girls and how actually young they were exactly yeah and how they dressed right it's just I mean and they I've seen comparisons of Golden Girls Versus Sex in the City and it's true you know we've is it fashion changed fashion is the hair is it the glasses all I know is I'm reliving fashion with my daughter right now and I'm like that's not cute I I already did that husband goes well was it better than mine I said no just different and he was like oh good answer keep that to yourself it was really very Vivid and really upsetting when I woke up oh it's you not in that fashion oh yeah uhhuh sure just that it was so vivid it was play acting today I think we are too butt scratcher want to talk about it Lauren what kind of body it wasn't like a unicorn or anything like that it just had abs and looked like a Kendall it's very weird all right we're not going to roast poor Club he doesn't need it no that's not he's been broken he's been broken all week long he had to bring two children for the price of one yesterday to go and do his heavy lifting because he couldn't bend over and he I could see how he was really focused going downstairs right yeah however it's not bowling he had bowling on Wednesday that was fine had bowling lessons on Thursday and somewhere on Thursday afternoon when he had to go to work to do things all of a sudden oh my backe it's back today I'm very excited it wasn't the case just like Rocco rtb has the cutest puppy to the point where I get such cute aggression I don't know when this happened for me but I want to squeeze things when I see cute things I know when I said when I sent you the video I knew you'd love it I got home from dinner and he I set him on the couch he was in the bed on the bedroom in the bedroom on the bed and uh when he saw me just the the tail like wagging hard was just like a is there nothing better than cute puppy snuggles I think not he's fantastic oh Lauren said let's just rent out a theater for during lunch and I was crossing Albany Street and there was this woman that was like we're crossing the same side of the street but she's going this way and I'm going over that way and I'm like why are you walking so slow I'm like oh the wind she was she was a tiny small person it took you a minute to get it it's going to knock you down girl you're going to go down try as you may you should have worn weights in your pockets that's on your ankles to well the ankles no because you'll still get you know speaking of Weights in a bag we are celebrating a Ruck for hit it is coming it is coming Fast and Furious we've got great April 7th if you see people around the Cape Cod roadways with Ruck sacks on their back please give them some space and uh let them train we have a huge race we've got 22 teams this year which is double the amount of people that we had last year which is super exciting raising money for Heroes and transition I've been going I'm exhausted I've been going to their parties too yeah celebrating the other teams and preparing that's like 36 48 hours of driving more than that yeah and then I'm going right into events we've got the dance Marathon I've got three other events that we've got going on uh my daughter my husband like it's full family on Deck when I talk about our family business it literally is get up because you're all working whether you like it or not I laughed over at my uh teenage daughter who is by the way pitching her business for eforall oh so really yes so her and I have been working very close on her pitch competition and this is also her senior project she's graduating from Ashby high in like 30 days which is so Wilds me that this is where she is because she seems so young I don't know I'm not ready for it all right um oh good morning Alex thanks for joining us and Megan squeeze your new puppy for me so we're getting ready for this eforall experience for her and she leaned over last night while she was cleaning up for her dad and she's like I'm hurting my keep okay she looked like this little wire Gremlin it just made me laugh we are actually a family business and all hands on deck I don't know if you want to you know and the thing is you you appreciate that but there's a lot more to the pie to contribute well for sure but they're getting paid you know what I mean the business is paying them and they get and we work we hustle and they are learning a good work ethic if nothing else and they're getting paid for it so I'd rather have them work for us than we have to give them rides because nobody has licenses around here we already had that discussion we said goodbye to the family car yesterday I saw the post I'm so glad that thing's out of my yard I'm glad to not see it too just saying looks a little bit better over in that region huh yes and the front yard's looking very nice probably why Cliff back's bad is the [ __ ] are still full next door I mean in the that's still there that's the next to go that's the next one okay I'm waiting to see if somebody needs to rent it because since we know we all have a housing shortage here on Cape Cod I had a girlfriend of mine in a winter rental and she might actually live in it okay so I'm like if you want to take it and go live in it somewhere I will allow you to do that this summer um before I sell it or we're going to sell the big win Winnebago that is basically like Christmas vacation and in my yard right now you know clear we had Grand high hopes for all the trips we would take in that thing but the amount of time yep to invest in the restoration of this 1970s wi aago is just more time than we can really have we've kept it clean we've kept it oper operating operating operating done I'll take it how are things going for you on the west coast are you guys looking to relocate we're waiting for that answer I know right hey Trisha thanks for joining us this morning on the show what's that um big Park Nickerson State Park can I make it over there yeah can make it to Nickerson we've stayed there cool we've stayed there with that thing before when we had both dogs and both of the kids um the bathroom just isn't great it's full I another payment Partners where's the masar you're crying listen if we can provide housing for one more person we're going to do so because that's the people we are yeah and um there was yeah another Community member in Provincetown um Provincetown is providing an incentive for people that have um a home or condo that they're they're able to rent to someone who needs you around housing it's really nice that they're trying to put some different incentives and things for the community to come together and provide housing for people that live here year round that need it I feel like province toown is such an engaging Community period if there is some sort of action if there's some thing that needs to change they're always flowing into okay well this is better yeah it's very it's it's nice it's refreshing um to to see everyone work together as a community Y versus some other communities we have here on capcon that want to fight change it's happening and it needs to happen so just allow it to happen we'll talk about positive things not the not the negative on what's up Tom congratulations on starting your campaign Susan you've been on my mind all week long I don't know if you felt it but weekends in February radio silence so I finally and I didn't want to rush it so I just like finally texted him towards the end of I'm like hi how you doing what's going on and then he let me know that he screwed up his knee and that oh okay he felt bad and communication people I know but he said he's going to contact me in a couple weeks so I like that's fine at least I don't have the flooring I have to do right away but there's other stuff he's doing which I'm so thankful to for that uh we'll get done in the Boston condo which is great what about that guy on Cape cot Bob Bob Angelini this is the story of the cape he buys this house buy or Beware by the way in the state of Massachusetts you finally think all right my problems are solved I found the house this is going to be great all of a sudden he realizes that for whoever had contracted this deal with the place that he bought yeah he didn't own his propane tanks oh to's house oh no so they actually like put a lock on the propane thing to pay for it like it's really it's it's absurd so this guy was like I own it I bought this house he cut the lock off went on vacation came back they went and cut his lock off and put another one on it's obnoxious and it's over a few grand and I feel like both I I don't buy or beware is the only thing that I have to remind you of to make sure you do all of your due diligence and all of your homework not everybody is like you with spreadsheets stop it I love your spreadsheets though save the children or save the world save the spreadsheets you'll be all set if you ever want someone and we're like right before Easter which is so early yeah it is it's in a a week from Sunday right because it's Sunday's Palm Sunday um but yeah it's funny my mom always had us doing crafts I mean latch hooks uh what's it called plaque schlack or whatever You' paint the models and then you'd do all this other crap on it that's all our we didn't have TV I get it we did have TV wow four channels we lived in a van down by the river but I just saw something that I thought was really good for us apparently knitting helps troubled Minds I don't know I just read it on the interwebs and it said that if I knit I'll have a less troubled mind it'll keep me from unraveling knit one Pearl too break that wall inside my head no what's up Brooke I'm always trying to bring something healthy and happy to this relationship here okay okay okay I will say I used to love doing crossstitch I learned that and it was very soothing and very therapeutic I'm really bad at it uh well my eyes are going so I can't can't do the 18 count anymore I got the big for 12 count you related to my post the other day where I really I could not this woman I love that post one of my friends was like you didn't even I do virtual knitting I have trust issues and you can't even make my bagel well listen I do I do these crafting things one because I just like to talk to people while they craft I'm like scarred for life from arts and crafts because growing up my mother used to make me participate in whatever the town activities were over the summer basically so she could get rid of us and not have to deal with us so you've been conditioned she would she would call them enrichment activities and she would just drop us off somewhere like the fat kid doing tennis and I would just sweat and die and Fred BK's son was the tennis instructor and I would just sit there and sweat anyway there was arts and crafts underneath the trees in the same exact Park that was right up the road for my house and we would always have an activity of whatever it was and I I got eaten alive by bugs and I'll I'll never for I can't focus on crafts because I'm always worried something bad's gonna happen to me thank you for being part of my therapy this morning it's National goof day I can talk about my drama there's a lot to unpack though come on I don't think we can do it in an hour gez just saying so I keep going back like from 1 to 50 the states and it was interesting the New England states were like like the worst they were like in because it's expensive it's not and that was the thing is because it was expensive the one that was closer to number one was number 25 which was Maine okay um but all the other ones you rod down in Massachusetts and it was because of the healthc care cost Massachusetts and it's true I mean even though I do love living in the kolf um but like the first five the top five were like you know Oklahoma and [ __ ] like that I'm like I don't want to live there there is some map the places that you only drive through you don't live in right that that was the vacation those were the vacation States right yeah yeah yeah it's it's difficult to retire around here because the cost of living is so absurd yeah but I really am A New Englander I don't think I would I I couldn't go well that's why we have the snowbirds people go down south to get the their warm up their buns and then they'll be back up here I can't even do that can't speaking of which I did see a fun crazy crime today that I want's there's a red mark on Florida for me I just can't well this one's out of Ohio so I don't know if this is much better but I saw that an Ohio woman was arrested after cutting a man's off with a sword during a fight and for me I just wanted to know what the fight was about she must have won I mean he allowed her to cut his arm off allowed at midnight on a Sunday well there you go didn't want to go to work that well he was Dr he found drunken on the porch bleeding heavily my God there we go and I thought oh wait oh that's Ohio I thought well just in general drinking leads to bad choices I did I did see a fun story coming out of Florida where two women have um decided that they want to be in the Guinness Book of World Records this is kind of something that I want I want I want to do a Guinness Book of World Records can you and I work on something fun and funny that we can do to get a Guinness Book of World Records record I can but I don't know if we can publicize it go ahead well we can do it in private and then we can talk about it afterward just have the judges just have a valid judges later um but these two women have decided to embark on this 500 Mile Journey in toy cars like the little tonas and they're going to break a Guinness Book of World Records is there a picture of these said woman women they're definitely Florida women yeah I would like to see like the the difference between their what they look like and and also with the cars the toy cars okay here we go two Jacksonville Florida women are ready to go here they are they're they're all decked out they're toy cars they're setting Guinness Book of World Records go-karts they're not toy carts yeah well whatever ride on toy cars all right have a great time 500 Miles well they're going to have to stop the fuel but still well yeah charge the battery how long is that gonna take at least you can rest your butt when you charge battery eCards I despise Teslas I'm sorry well you can't you can't fire them up in the winter not New England enjoy that I guess all of the studies that they're saying is basically after five years years the the battery needs to be repl or eight years the battery needs to be replaced so really it's cost prohibitive there go of like all of the savings that you're GNA make I I don't know then just make them better why why are we not making them better and while I'm over here where where are my Jetson's Hing cars I want them get better science I mean listen we're getting pigs kidneys right now so I mean did you get read that article yet which one about the hundred the oct what do it called the what do they call people that live to be 100 yeah we're finally we're Switching gears but do we really want to what to live longer yeah I think everybody wants to live a little bit longer well I think if you want to live longer you want to be more you and I and Seth I think I have a photo of us in the Cape Cod Mall riding around when the carousel was still there when we were on break from the radio station and should have been doing other work but we didn't we decided to ride the carousel um either way I found that photo the other day and it made had me a good laugh but Seth and I he has elastic Glam which is on Lemon Ado tonight yes I love listening to it yeah they've got a show that they just did at the music room and um Seth is just really such a supporter of glamrock everything to do with it and uh he puts a lot of heart and soul people to do more stuff in the community which only all of us reap the benefit of so I feel like if you're just sitting there looking to do something with yourself volunteer grab a pitchfork now we're farming there you go yeah I love the farmers market that's coming I am really stressed out about it but really excited um I think you're going to have a great turn now yeah Mash B Farmers Market is happening for this season and uh we're we're looking to get local food and promote it I just we were mashby were now certified I went and did all the certifications so we can accept wh and hip benefits at this farm so you can come and get fresh produce and this is something that you can only use at farmers market so it's not taking away from stuff um just so that we can eat a little bit better and have some variety in our diets which I'm really excited for that's great and uh yeah it's a benefit our community and I'm I'm pumped that we're able to do that what's up Michael how is our Vanna Vanna pachella one of the most amazing starlets of Cape Cod right now she is such a beautiful performer and if you've not seen her play the keys I definitely suggest you find a show where she is Gillette this is someone she is just absolutely incredible very mature and talented for her age she is going somewhere and she's not even old enough to go to college yet like I mean she is this day and age but she might need need to well definitely um I just saw that a what is it how old old is he a first grader that was accepted to Mena oh really he's been reading since he was two years old his goal is to go to college by the time he's 13 years old okay what Meanwhile my I'm still working on my getting licenses I you know I already put in my two cents directly to your child she's working on her business right now so I'll allow it I hope everybody their own path hope that business doesn't have to travel anywhere that's exactly my problem with a kid I forget I was having this conversation but but I but I don't I canceled on you this morning but because I actually have work to do um but she makes me it's such a therapy session because she's also a female business owner so her and I can like just I'm throwing weights around she'll just hand me heavier ones and I'm throwing those around I don't even know I'm working out with her which makes me even happier good and it's a nice therapy session and that's their thing Fitness over 40 and boy to my knes tell me I'm like 70 so it's a good fit for me but her and I were laughing about the situation with my daughter not wanting to drive she's afraid to drive and given all the car accidents and the stuff around here I do lean into the situation where I'm like okay but also accidents happen regardless you're going to have to face that out here on Cape Cod and uh we got a new cannabis company that is going to be sponsoring and joining us I know I'm gonna have to take a look at it because they're new okay um and they just just opened we're trying to figure out who's going to what do they really why do they want to be included no let me just tell you how many graduations have we been nobody wants to be there including the people doesn't want to hear from you you have a lot of problems if you're the one texting her how many other crazies does this poor woman have she needs a sick day knocking on her bedroom window hello I know you're in there she's sick hearing about your [ __ ] is what's happening she's done she's shut you off there are no co-pays I can cover any more of this we pay for Better Health you will listen to me we pay for that premium because we need to someone will hear this that's not covered in regular insurance and it freaking should be I'm so sick of mental health and I'm not going to get into this situation however finding a person cultivating a relationship that is functioning and working and then actually getting better is way too long of a process in this country and I'm over it I'm sick of toown Galleria okay because their their major one is over um in near Central Square but anyway this one's really cool but of course they were doing black and tan they ran out of the the the light beer that they use for the that they only use for black and town totally and I'm like it's it's 230 and you're out already you're like we're gonna get more later in the week I'm like yeah but I need it now I'm here for an event I want my black and ttin now daddy right away it's St Patrick's Day come on fail that's well that sounds like Boston we drank the town dry like you need to get on the stick and prepare here that's what my uh that's that's what my science teacher my freshman year science teacher you know because there were guys that were just Stoners in the corner and we would they would even set fire to experiments they like we're doing an experiment and they would just screw around see kids stuff you couldn't do now you get thrown out of school for this stuff he was so checked out he was probably in his 70s days he just was get collecting the paycheck but every once in a while when they would they would like really mess up he's like you all need to get on the stick do your work that's
