C have you come for the drama report drama drama no you're just so late laid back over there what's going on everybody happy Sunday funay to you I'm just chilling having myself so I'm not boots we have our make and take craft set up we've got a couple of kids already that went and played but basically we're doing recycle bird feeders so if you want to do those come and bring the kids let them roll around with the bird seed they can have some fun over there and I'll tell you the tale of our first day of April vacation super fun where my 15-year-old son decided be sweet to swallow the top of a soda a cap not the plastic kind the metal kind so of course yes called the pediatrician I was like do we wait for him to pass do I make a you know expect it oh no no no ER awesome so um that was pretty much the rest of yesterday um side note after sending him home we did get a call from children saying this planen was en large so unanswered prayers or something I I don't even know I hope your April vacation is op a better start than I is we're here at knockabout as we are every single Sunday Funday this one is make and take craft day so I showed you our make and take craft uh Meg is back behind the bar so come say hey to miss mag lots of activities going on here all week long so if you're looking for something to do with the kids I believe they always get a free hot dog um we've got Disney music Bingo here this week we got all kinds of make and take crafts all you got to do is follow them on social and keep up with their activity list I think I've got it actually I'll take a look lemonad we are jam-packed with stuff to do I'm gonna have AJ and Josh on the show tomorrow because there is a comedy show here in agab about this week so if you need a few minutes of just grownup time we have that available for you um I guess it was Willie Nelson's birthday uh coming up this coming up this Saturday is Willie Nelson birthday that's exciting something to celebrate here so we're having a big birthday bash here at knockabout Forum all right so our list is stuff at knockabout yesterday was meet Minnie Mouse and ice cream Sundays we've got lunch with kids crafts Disney music Bingo some comedy in here Family karaoke on Friday sensory friendly for the first couple of hours 1 to three 3 to five full Rock session thank you very much to our friends over at steeple Street Music all you can eat tacos on Saturday with Jimmy D's band and we've got our books and bites we'll have local author Judy Lannon here next Sunday and uh she's going to be reading excerpts from her book and signing them so got to support your local cap cut authors we love our authors here and once a month we do books and bites where we'll pair a snack with a book and just come and hang out and uh if you'd like to bring a book for that and swap it out with somebody else we'll have those avail ailable for you too how's your April vacation going everybody please tell me it's better than my kickoff please tell me you're in like sunny Florida or do something fun with yourselves what's up Jen when are we G to get back together I want to see some cupcakes honestly Jen's cupcakes are too pretty to eat but they are also very pretty I'm planning some celebration so we need to have a conversation cuz I want your cupcakes please and thank you hey Richard how are you today thanks for joining us so we're at 13 Lake a the tent has moved which is like signaling a little summer feels here it's 50 the sun is shining so definitely take advantage of it I know my little uh Garden witch has been out there beautifying our front yard and I went to five stories yesterday with Eva looking for River Rocks of course we find them but not until after it's rained so I got drippy soupy Red Rock Dust over my clothes super fabulous bye you guys enjoy your vacation your friends visiting us here from Maine and they even still wanted to participate in the craft this is free open to the public so we'll be here until 2 o'clock we got lots of great beers on draft and you got to try the Knockin Boots mix says it's almost gone so if you wanted to try our pink boots Society draft that Meg created I definitely suggest that you get down here this weekend before the Sunday ends I think it'll be done they've got sloshies um I know the orange creamsicle is the new one that sounds delicious what's up Megan Lisa thanks for joining us this morning hey hey miss Emily it's a good day for games we are pretty jam-packed this week at lemonade for activities so if you're looking for something to do we've got you events on kate.com is where you can go and keep up to date with everything that we've got going on farmers market update we are now at I believe 10 different vendors that are going to be weekly with us we've got our Wellness area that's cook in so there's always going to be activities for the kids we've got the power of produce program which means you can bring the kids and they get a little token in which they can take to our farm vendors and pick a fruit or a vegetable that they've never tried before and it's kind of a club at the end of the summer we'll have a a big uh Power of produce dance party for the kids I want to shout out old places spaces she Lauren is absolutely fantastic at what she does so they're going to be minding the kids entertainment area and you never know what's going to pop up over there whether it's a pig a petting zoo or our friends over at Mills River rescue we are definitely working on all kinds of fun activities all summer long that'll take place every single Sunday from May 26th until October 13th so plan accordingly for your summer here with us in Mash P what's up Jo Ellen where are the witches on the water I know I saw a little uh pop up from you guys that you're uh getting together I think your benefactor this year is Dream Day Cape Cod absolutely get in there and start making one of those bird feeders if you want help you guys can sit there hey babe you want to help them am I out all right is that just your computer I don't know if it's just Facebook but thank you Joel and I appreciate you so much I got the golden mic this week oh I got the golden mic this week thank you very much to wkkl and all of our friends over at K Cod Community College that was very unexpected uh they just uh I don't know it was an unexpected award so I like didn't know what to say that may me feel uncomfortable and awkward because I'm usually the one celebrating other people so i i r away I didn't know what to do but I thank you so much I do it because I care and not because I need accolades but I appreciate the cute little chachki I get to put on my desk to remind myself what are Cliff is over here wafting beers around on the the camera if you want to come and take a look and we've got some kids for activities so what's it Jamie hey Jeff how are you thanks for joining us on the show I am very much looking forward to seeing when Tony Andrew Farms is opening I know it's always a big opening day situation where my daughter gets so excited whether it's sunflowers or whether it's the sweet sweet corn that we wait for all year long to be just had in August you guys are always so amazing and we're such glad uh we're so glad to have you as Community Partners over at Tony Andrews Farms I know you guys are busy planting and farming up a storm we appreciate you so so much what does everybody plan for the week I need to do something and not just squ oh volunteers clean up thank you for dropping that Jo alen because I always like to have volunteer opportunities I know moms of teens and tween are always looking for some activities to get out there and just support the community and hang out so we'll be here at knockabout 13 Lake Aven mashy so come on by and make yourself a bird feeder and you can take this little art project with you when you go home home hanging in your trees and make sure when you see some birds that you
