assistant oh hello welcome to Sunday fun day my from knock about 13 Lake Avenue Mashpee it is our Makers Market and uh we are just getting underway got some great makers we always do but uh we are here today until two o'clock so if you're looking for scallops and clams and something yummy to cook up for some appetizers for your game Pats are on at four so I'm I'm excited I know nothing about it I watch no preseason this has just been a weird year for me um and it's weird to be talking about football and fall things I do have an Oktoberfest my first beer in two weeks three weeks regardless today called for it the humidity is oppressive so swing through the beer is cold and they've got some great new sips and they've got their Coolatta drinks in there I think margaritas and pina coladas still feel like summer it's local summer here for sure so some of the makers that we've got today Lisa Z CBD she has got sprays and salves and suppositories right some other fun interesting things for you to come and check out and her hippie dippy tent over here I'm about to go get a manicure from Cape Cod polished perfect way to have a sip and relax while the kids get their mermaid hair done or grab a treat from Cloud9 Frozen they've got all kinds of great frozen treats ice creams and whatnot so hi Amy I'm gonna be having Amy on the show tomorrow we can talk about ditching our bras and I gotta tell you Amy I'm wearing one of mine right now my my fun little shapewears and uh good wicking quality at this point in time nobody needs to know boom sweats I know that's not the thing that you should be talking about on LinkedIn but here we are we all have our crosses to bear so we're gonna have Amy Levitt on the show with us tomorrow to talk about ditching our bras and uh all of the different things that she's got in her small business which we love and support we've got two local authors here today uh with his Macabre trophies we've also got JJ Kunis and his adventures an epic historical Adventure which centers around right here where we are on the grounds of knock about by the water it's got some good historical qualities woven into some sci-fi so that's exciting yeah oh please come and see me today we've got food gopal Farms is here with pumpkins I see an array of pumpkins some end of season Tomatoes which I feel like are the best tomatoes um they've also got a little bit of local corn get it while it's going because I know we're grabbing some right now and I'm gonna go do my shopping before others get here come and get the produce while it lasts very excited for some fall flavors they've got pumpkin spice lattes and beers inside here at knock about some fabulous fall flavors and Aaron threads is here with her handmade bags plastic bags that are good for you to take with you speaking of football season Gillette makes you have clear bags and Aaron has made a whole line of clear bags that you can take with you to stadiums to football games um so that you are covering all your bases and you're not losing beautiful handbags that you're bringing to games thinking you can get them in Aaron has made you a product that you can take to the game so that's pretty cool there I'm trying to think mother Magic's crystals is here and Ashley does a great job say ages some fun little Crystal Creations she's got her daughter Soren with us today and she's just such a little doll um so we're going to be here until two o'clock yes the humidity is high but the fun is high also and there's plenty of AC inside and we've got CBD which doesn't get you high but makes you feel great so there's that some of the things I can't even believe I'm still standing here we've had a wild weekend between kindness Festival Seaside Le Mans uh so many other places that we've been out in the wilds and I feel like September just rolls on we've got um it is by the way ovarian cancer awareness month so we're your teal support your friends girly girl parts is coming up OC 101 which is now below the belt is working with our lgbtqi plus community and getting that information out because sometimes when we're not using our reproductive organs we forget that they're there and we still need to go for our appointments so just a quick checkup reminder I feel like September is a good resetting month as we're swapping seasons and the kids are back in school um when it's not too hot oh it was a wild weekend of fun connecting I know that I had a really good time over at Washington schools and Casey Coombs back to school barbecue I love I have like such cute aggression I want to squeeze little babies and when they're starting to dance it just makes my heart so happy there's something about that magic that I love um and I was over at the Cape Cod Children's Museum this morning which God bless them all run in a 5k this morning I just sat there played music and announcements sweating uh but it was a really nice moment they just debuted their Heroes exhibit so I definitely charge you with going over to the Cape Cod Children's Museum and checking out what they've got our friend Kelly from Wellness doing I think it's healing through Wellness is her non-profit organization that's over there doing a little bit of stretching and some yoga I found out that I can't really reach my ankle right now because it's been a long weekend so I definitely need a reset this week for sure I don't know about anybody else but I feel like September is like cramming everything in and I'm doing a fair amount of cramming in ourselves so take it easy put your feet up this afternoon uh come and have a beer with us at knock about I'm about to go get a manicure because I desperately need one I can't even look at my hands I don't even want to point at things at this point in time I said I want to draw attention to them I have them under here Nina across the Cape is here with charcuterie board so if you're looking for something cute to serve your game day snacks on definitely come by and grab a charcuterie board with her handmade resin items and Gina's got macrame and gnomes and other fun signs so maybe you've got a party today and you're on
