to Chris Abney over at Wicked juice so excited we're finally getting this done yeah I know 35 South Street right yes right in the road feathers parking lot well this is your new location so like talk to me about how we arrived at this space because it's been a whirlwind for you it has it has um it happened so quick it literally happened in a blink of an eye we made the move in a whole just one month and we got it done it was definitely nerve-wracking but we're here and we're open and we were open actually the second day we moved in which is wild yeah so once uh once we launched the food and everything it just kind of has been going great so obviously entrepreneur but you've been at this for a long time now it's been about nine years and you sort of fell into it you and I were talking before I came today about just your entrepreneurial Journey yeah uh and where you kind of fell into this business so it happened in a blink of an eye it was a girlfriend of mine was selling my old store absolutely Juiced and um I saw her post on Facebook and she was closing the doors and I said well wait a minute you know I'm very interested in what you have going on so we met on a Monday signed papers Tuesday and I was in uh Wednesday so it kind of um it uh it just happened so quick sorry Hi how are you I know we're still running a business right now just so you know as we're doing our lives so I love it uh you are now out of the other area changed your name a little bit was that like a little how was that feel as an entrepreneur to kind of be like okay well it was an adjustment it was definitely an adjustment um it happened like I said so quick um I combined um partnership with Wicked Restaurant and you know the old place was called crave and it kind of didn't just it didn't go with what we were offering yeah as far as juices smoothies ASA bows then we're rolling in paninis and subs and salads and pizza slices and this is all new stuff for you too as far as food offerings you've just been you're the juice girl yeah I was just and it was just juices and smoothies and asai Bows uh but you know know it was time for me to you know bright you know open up my horizons and kind of add more things to just being able to offer more stuff to everybody and now you know this space is much larger yeah that's pretty incredible so if you had visited her in her other location was very small very cramped I felt it was like Chris's little hobby hole like hold on I got a little juice for you try this so now you've got all this space for more activities which is exciting yeah what's your favorite juice to make oh we got all these fun little offerings over here so right here we have the Green Wave and if you want to try that go for it yeah what is in the Green Wave so it's kale spinach cucumber celery Apple ginger lemon and parsley okay so when you started doing juices was this something that you were like okay I want to offer some healthy things to people is it like I you know what is your motivation I think just health and wellness um you know food is is a definitely big source of you know we fuel our body and you are what you eat so you have to you know watch what you eat and by combining all of these products into a juice you're fueling your body with all the nutrients that you need on a day-to-day basis and it's far much better than coffee um you know you're not going to get the lag you don't have the you know the downfall and you know like coffee does and it just it literally gives you the most energy that you could ever have I feel like especially this time of year we can all use like a little booster oh yes what kind of things do you have for like vitamin C boosters or like so we do lemon ginger shots we do vitamin C shots with you know orange and ginger and you know if you're feeling sick or have a runny nose you know we'll do lemon ginger with cayenne pepper and you take it just like a shot and it clears you right up I believe in it I really do I come every once in a while and I'll just I'm like I need something imuno boost please because we're all busy and this time of year I feel like everyone has been sick for like the last month and a half and I haven't gotten it right yeah want know if you ever tried blue algae blue green algae yep we do do that and spirulina so we we offer those add-ons into our juices and smoothies so what do they do so basically it just provides like immune support um and it it helps fight off um you know infections and you know your um just colds and cold symptoms yeah what's up Wes Mash P right next to Wicked Restaurant she's wicked Juiced and she's got so much to offer we're just talking about some of your juices right now specifically do you have people that do like juice diets like do you cater to that sort of thing so we do have a couple people right now on um what we call a juice regimen okay so where you use it as a meal replacement yeah so instead of you know putting any solid foods into your body you incorporate a juice versus the solid which any solid foods that you put in your body is considered toxic waste yeah so what you want to do is you want to rid the toxic waste into your body and helps your you know recalibrate your digest yeah your it re helps um direct your digestive tract and helps you process foods better uh you know go to the bathroom better and just kind of overall flushes you out which some people need after a long weekend yeah and you know can you buy these at like three days or five days like Chris I'm gonna go do this I need a weeks worth of juice load me up hi guys are our live in studio audience here at Wicket loving it yeah so yes we gummies that is interesting I have not um that's not on the menu right now yeah that we have a thousand different other options what's up Robert the kaloa and Bailey's is my juice speaking of which we'll get to that because she makes some really good ones yep so we're we're rolling out our boozy smoothies uh which you can come in and you add you know any type of liquor to any one of our smoothies uh talk about having a nice blended drink and you feel like you're doing your body good put little Cheetos in there with a handful of spinach you that's it I threw some spinach in it what the Best of Both Worlds right healthy drinking everyone this is what we're all about here it's all about balance right exactly exactly some of the things that you make here like what are your favorites um for smoothies or juices smoothies we talked about juices talk to me about your smoothies so our smoothies um my one of my favorite ones is the clean green so that has spinach mint pineapple banana and apple juice and that's also very good with a light rum um but that's also more on the healthy side we've all had a Donovan's dirty banana now Chris talk to me about the dirty banana that's here because CL my husband was like is it too early for this I say it's never too early Saturday right yeah you gotta start somewhere right but you make it a healthy dirty banana yes exactly Donovan taught me very well love it with real bananas with real bananas yeah and we you know we have the whole recipe and you know basically you can come and create your own um you don't always have to choose off the wall or the menu you can create your own smoothie and um pretty much do whatever you'd like we have a lot of options asai bowls you also have the as e bowls we have we got some pretty ones it always feels like a work of art to me I feel horrible destroying these things because they're so yummy so I don't know if you can see I know look at how pretty she is and then I'm gonna take a picture and is it healthy it's made with real things that's what I appreciate I can at least say made with real things should we bring these oh yeah absolutely oh what have we got so this one right here so this is our paninis so we have the Italian Panini which is hot pressed in our panini press and this we have the Capra and they are that's what get they're so good it smells so good well it was funny because we were here while you guys were setting up this morning and my husband's like oh what is that smell you're like it's bacon yes yeah it's bacon Stephanie um so they've got a turkey club which I have had near turkey club Panini throw a little avocado on it it yes it it comes with avocado so good but that's one of our top sellers along with our London Broil um all of our meat are is sliced fresh daily from Bor head yeah so we we carry all Bor head meats and cheeses so it's um it's going well it's good and it's probably one of the best meats that we could carry we've got salads yes um I just love that it's so fresh if you walked back here in this kitchen every single thing is fresh whole ingredients real food um and it's just really nice and refreshing to see the staff that's working here because they're really hustling back here to make sure and I think that that's a big thing for me right now is ingredients how we're sourcing them how we're getting our Foods because I we're getting away from real foods and oh yes yeah definitely and that's and that's scary to think about where we're going to be you know um in a couple years from now you know it's it's definitely scary to see all the farming and Agriculture and lands you know kind of diminish over the course of time yeah so you know to be able to carry all of the stuff fresh and you know made right here in front of you nothing's prepackaged everything is made ready to go and we're typically pretty quick about it too so uh we'd like to get you right out of the door you also have options for door Dash takeout I mean you can make it as quickly as possible and I love that you've got parking now that's kind of exciting this is a new thing for you I know I know we have a huge parking lot plenty of parking spaces you don't have to park around the corner and walk over um so it's it's definitely more convenient over here some of the things that you do differently than other businesses um we just we offer a wide um you know selection of you know as far as soups salads um paninis pizzas juices fresh options healthy options um you can come here for breakfast you can come here and you know get your lunch to go and you know fuel your body in the morning and have something filling in the afternoon and then we CL and Wicked Restaurant opens up at four so you can come back for dinner also you're super mindful of people's dietary concerns and you're really really important I mean I know that everybody here is gloved you've got separate kitchen separate areas for things it's so nice that you got that space now yes and we also do carry a lot of gluten-free options as well so um we have a nice gluten-free Panini rolls um our soups are gluten-free we we do we are very mindful as far as sanitary precautions um and the cleanliness of the store um spotless very very important well totally because when people are coming to a place like uh Wicked juice you need to have your dietary concerns addressed so if it's no nuts or no whatever it is in your your space you're looking to be safe here right right so we we have a nutree blender we always make sure you know that that the peanut butter is not close to it and yeah you know we're very precaution so oh Dan Dan Chase good morning you guys are awesome you know oh I did Dan I know I you had posted fairly recently of our friend Elie and I like go super sad about it I was like I forgot like we have so like friends and family in common I was like oh my God you and I have known each other now for a long long time we've known each other and I'm just so excited to see you in this space right now he's looking over me he totally is definitely is so I know he's he was a big he was very important in my life and that's you know part of the reason why I'm doing this today because I know that you know you were very close with him and yeah um you know obviously I want to you know present my business and stuff but um he definitely uh was very important holl at your boy we're doing it over here oh this is a good one anybody have any questions for Chris we're gonna be here until noon today and we're going to play some music we've got the new football game outside uh there is tons of food and uh while you're out there shopping away shop small Saturday stop on in grab yourselves some gift cards yep so we have some gift cards that are up for grabs y um I'm not sure how we are oh we got a football game outside right now it's actually hard I was playing with a little boy that came in to hang out with me it doesn't help that it's too yeah well we've got it stationed so it's not going to hit any Windows my husband had it like right at the I'm like you can't have footballs pointed at Windows that's no we're not allowed to worst nightmare right there we got a nice little kitty quarter area over there so it's all set um and we've got a bunch of different prizes lemonade o chapstick to get you through the winner yeah not ready for this cold I'm when you started setting up outside um I open we're gonna be inside right yes we were not prepared what smoothie is this one so that is the most wanted so that's just a plain strawberry banana frozen yogurt she got the most Mar here awesome excellent um so yeah and that's another one of our healthy options as well um but so and our assai Bowl has strawberry banana granola coconut chia seeds straw uh blueberries honey all the the loaded Works what is your go-to like if you're feeling cruddy in the morning and you're like I need this probably a juice okay the juice will wake you up and start your day off so good and then you know that that will hold you over um I do love my assai bowls every day so good so that's uh that's one of probably our top sellers here and um along with you know now our food but mostly the juices in the mornings and um we you know transition over to the food in the afternoon Chris thank you so much for hanging out with me today absolutely it's my pleasure thanks for coming in 35 sou Street it is wicked juice going to be here little bit and we also um I do want to mention that December 16th from 11 to 1 we are having a Santa event and so bring the kids down the kids can decorate cookies I saw that um each kid will have a cookie kit where they can come in they first take their picture with Santa um we have Mark Dylan coming in with his photo booth he is so great so I do a lot of uh private events with him very cool and he is just amazing so for's kid yeah so um and so the kids will come in they'll get a kit um Chef Jay is going to be providing complimentary pizza for them uh the whole bar will be open while the kids decorate and enjoy d a whole hot chocolate um build your own bar and and you know the parents and I'll have my little elves running around here and Santa will be here and it will be great it will be a
