morning oh my God I'm so over it spring spring ran away spring came went you know what I'm not interested in this place the spring is gone I posted a photo of somebody walking down hius Main Street yesterday like full on furry hat gloves scarf and I was like oh spring on sh God wonderful absolutely absolutely and it's going to rain later on this week and it's got we've already set a record for rain for the month of March really we're over four inches and and you know the the water table the water table is soaked and rubbish potential for you know flooding and low-lying areas and and all that stuff so check your basement folks really check your basements I friends of ours good morning Miss Mari thank you for joining us welcome welcome all hey Mari who else is up this morning hey Nate I know we'll get you on the show this week I want to talk to you about all the basketball things that are happening I don't it was girls last night right that was the big one yes yeah yeah the women played last night Caitlyn Clark Caitlyn Clark played in what was her last game in Iowa because the game last night was at Iowa and um they they they had a bit of a bit of bit of trouble but um she ended up scoring 30s something points and oh that's a bit of trouble night for her yeah well you know she started off a little slow but she ended up um in the third quarter I think it was she just went crazy and um and that was that so they're off to I think Albany for the sweet 16 is that where she was mouthing expletives and of course social media has to capture all of that she's very spirited when Caitlyn tells to get that you do right you do good morning saraphina how are you hey Emily Emily had a nice long day with us yesterday she did she takes it in strides this one and and and and a little Vanna come Savannah is the cutest thing honestly she's got this this new thing where when people look at her and talk to her she just starts to get cry face so I tried to like get it in out you know you're like trying to make a fun face and then you're like oh my God she's wowing up a tears never mind right I don't like people today I get my baby fixed and then the baby goes away it's perfect perfect right get it all in I didn't have much a hank last week I feel like I have to catch up with you on 4,000 things I know what I was here Tuesday and then you were you went to the college on Thursday and um and we haven't we really haven't seen each other and I didn't we didn't go to um knockabout on Sunday it's been a whirlwind yes you've been very busy yeah well also like family stuff like it took Friday night I had off and I took Lily for my third or fourth round of dress shopping you know how much I hate shopping yes I do like I really can't stand it I wish I was one of those moms that loved it and it was such a fun activity but you've got maybe an hour before I expire and then I'm just kind of like like a guy on a chair and a waiting room that's like yep honey that looks great sure honey that looks great wonderful it's great I really do my best I love those chairs if if Mariana is with us I take one Mariana takes the other one and we just sit there wa we went to the JC Penny off off off cape and uh all waiting rooms should look like that comfortable chairs a nice little Lounge area I'm like this place is for me of course that was the one dress that she itched herself out of and was like we have to leave we left there in such a hurry she forgot her purse in the dressing room I'm like that you're definitely your mother right did she go back did you guys yeah the girl she goes they're on it they were already walking it towards the door wow very good so we ended up up with a very very expensive prom dress yes it's it's lovely Steph was showing me the pictures this morning it's it's stunning God Almighty I had to call Laney who I absolutely love Seaside Bridal Couture if anybody's looking on cap for a dress Laney has a fabulous selection right now just not any colors that really Lily like really really loved she's like I you know we picked up one we held it for a little bit and I was like oh that's kind of pricey oh it got worse I was like let's do the thrift shopping thing yes now I'm happy to go shop let's do that right we thrifted we found a dress from 1950s that actually fits her like a glove really so we also bought that one not for prom this kid's killing me okay she needs she needs to start working does she wear dresses though she does okay well she's got her tea party and she signed up to pitch eforall for her tea party business oh good um I don't know if they've chosen her and it's fine if they don't you know she's got plenty of other things going on she's working at the T this summer she's working with us and we're still waiting on a FAFSA uh government that would be great to know what kind of um are any other senior parents panicking right now because I'm getting a little nervous here well it's hard to make that final decision if you don't know how much money you're gonna be right yeah oh Don wake and bake with the bunnies up at 6:30 in the morning it's it's yeah it's early for you it's not 6:30 there now it says one hour clock starts as soon as Steph steps in the store 100% I'm like milk it's bad it goes bad it's sour I'm cranky getting shunky just not good get me out of the store anyway we found this beautiful Boutique and it was very much for pageant girls we got there right at a nice time though because a few other mothers with their daughters started swooping in they had all these women like ready to go waiting to wait on you so that was kind of nice right and they did a good job selling you oh my God they didn't have to sell me she put it on it was the first one she tried on I'm like that's cute get it off how much is it oh it's a it's honestly it was more than what I paid for all of my my wedding well you know prices have gone up over the years Steph I get it I love that my husband was I thought I called him the voice of reason yeah I said oh she wants I'm texted him and he's like well what does it look like I sent him the dress which card do you want to put it on I'm like God no I called you for support not not to be an accessory in this crime he when whoa whoa whoa he's a dad it's his daughter you have don't you know this by now it's his dad it's his daughter of course he's got if she loves it if she wants it of course oh that's how it works works you use your friend's dress also if you're someone out there that just doesn't have the ability to do this there are several other places that have prom shops that swap around dresses from girls and everyone that donated all of their prom dresses so there are actionable places for you to go right to look for a prom dress that you can afford or even have so I know Ariana carrian works on one of those groups I think I just saw a posting I'll share it on social media if I come across it again because I think it's important and not everything has to be a mortgage payment no although L dresses but oh my god really is we that's it well I told them that's no eating out this month literally none that's why we went to BJ's I did meal prep all day yesterday and the day before that that's a men where try to lose a little bit of weight right cutting some Corners around and you have been I said to you upstairs because I don't usually see Stephanie standing up um she is losing weight folks when she says that she's working at it and she's losing weight she looks like she's lost weight so slow you know I've been back at the gym since December this is so slow granted I'm only going like once or twice a week but I am doing weights so I feel like that's a big difference and right I'm not usually sedentary like this all day but I'm working on it right well yeah yeah but you have to do all your work like right here it's obnoxious unless you get one of those what do you call it that's what I'm looking for standing desk to have like at least on some side somewhere that I can just put it upstairs and do my work while I'm moving so I'm not seated all day like Pac-Man right I feel like Miss Pac-Man down here what's up Mark oh my God Don did we ever see that bridge collapse that was insane I think that was your first social posting this morning oh my gosh I I I saw something on um um you know Twitter or something that popped up and and and said you know Bridge collapses and and it's the Francis Scott Key bridge and at first I thought oh it's some kind of historical Bridge because I'm not that familiar with Baltimore and then I turned on the TV it is like a legit big effan bridge folks and a huge cargo container smacked right into one of the supports and the thing just if you haven't seen it they're playing it all over the place on the news it just crashed it's unbelievable can you be can imagine being on that bridge they're looking for well they said that there was a um a work crew there doing overnight repairs and there were cars on the bridge and and they're looking for 20 some odd people they think but they don't know and it happened at like I don't know 1:15 in the morning or 3:15 in the morning I forget so it it's been dark so it's been hard for them and the water temperature is 40 40 something degrees and the tide is I don't know if it's coming in or coming out but but there's a tide there so that's making it hard what a nightmare for the for the divers oh it's just it's just incredible I think right now I saw this morning with the count was seven still missing so yep and they asked someone from um the national Transportation safety board or someone who used to be was there any way that that bridge could have been better secured so if this cargo container hit it this accident wouldn't have happened and the person said these ships are so big now that there's nothing you can do if if they're gonna hit you yeah that's it that's it that's it they're so so big and if you see it the thing is Hu I mean bigger than anything we've ever seen I mean we've seen cargo ship cargo container ships go through the Cape Cod Canal it's like a billion times bigger that's an exaggeration on I'm going in but I mean it's very very very much larger than anything we've seen go through the cape cot Canal the ship lost power Don was saying in the freezing temperatures she said crumbled just like paper oh yeah the bridge it was unbelievable look like it was Legos and somebody went Bing I mean it was crazy the way it felt I like hold my breath when I drive over the Cape Cod Bridges so I'm like please please please get to the other side okay I can live this every single time I go over every single time when I was a kid and and and we'd go to and we'd go to Vis visit my cousins in New Jersey or whatever we'd go over the George Washington Bridge and of course there are signs there that say in case of attack drive off the bridge and I would always see that and say to my dad what does that mean you're supposed to drive drive off the bridge and he goes yep that's right I'm going to take a left I'm going to go right in the water oh my God Lynn said it hit a column head on yeah yeah go watch it but then come right back yeah right don't leave us use your phone right you can look it up while you're listening to us right either way it's awful right because I tell you what in terms of the um um the news reports they don't know a lot they're going to keep telling you the same thing over and over again you can you can safely walk away for a while well Bridge sensitive to begin with because we've just had all of this bridge talk going on here whether they're going to give us a toll who's in charge of what what's happening I I'm not I'm not anti-to as long as we're not paying it right if we have a cape cot address do we have to pay that toll that'd be nice if we didn't I'm not gonna I mean they're not going to start work on it they said until at least 2029 yeah so we got time everybody RT said he just watched that bridge wow Capital yep Beth I've seen it and I've driven over it yeah yep well I guess it's one of three ways to um to commute in Baltimore the other two ways are tunnels yeah so it's it's not like they can you know it's not like it's a highway and they can like maybe really quick create an additional Lane yeah there's nothing they can do big Bridges and giant Cliffs for you Don on the west coast Y and then have a good day and then in B in in Boston this morning a two large truck got into the suar tunnel why does this happen continuously and they had to shut a weekly occurrence right they had to shut everything down they had to back the truck out I mean you would think that even truck drivers who aren't familiar with this area would be familiar with oh yeah I've heard of this place in Boston right I can't be here or any of the driving apps should have a you're too big to get through that no matter what it is yeah just like what is your clearance as a truck driver I feel like those are stats you should know right and it was coming um from the from the airport from that area from East Boston so people coming into the city from you know from from that side we're all we're all mucked up like even these trucking companies you're going through Boston you're not going to fit there you're gonna have to do this yeah who's routing these people this way well they follow their alexas or their whatever they should know and you're right the app should say you're not GNA fit but if you own a trucking company and this is a known quotient thing like your route is going to bring you through here don't do that right don't go there right I don't know maybe they just think you know what I'm not I think I can I think I can I can probably fit I can squeeze underneath maybe just a little I let some air out of the tires we're good right right no you can't fit like air down like you're going to Sandy neck for crying out loud I'll fit this time we won't go fast I'll do it right absolutely insane so what in the p didy is going on here did everybody watch this yesterday I didn't see it till this morning when I started reading about it oh I was like full on into it it was like during My Trivia when all of it was happening this is Bizarro I know and Greg Hiller was there and he's like you're watching this and I'm like oh my God I was like handing out doing a round of trivia and then going back to the scene of the crime of them raiding Diddy's house apparently he was just walking around the Miami Airport he fled to Barbuda with his sons and um there's like a whole thing this thing has been going on for a year when he was first accused of being inappropriate right and like you know where where there's smoke there's fire right so people have been investigating this whole thing like there's there's claims of murders there's claims of sex trafficking this is like another Epstein situation yeah it certainly sounds like it and he was supposed to be didd he was supposed to be smart businessman all that other stuff but it doesn't it doesn't know yeah right same as the bridge and adabor yeah it's the same thing as the bridge and adoro right you can't fit under it there's giant signs with numbers on it saying if you are this big you will not fit here yet they tried yeah and that's the train bridge remember how traffic would get screwed up in downtown Alor % because that was like the only way to get through that area at the time going all the way around right yep yep and then once that's clogged forget it you ain't getting in can't get anywhere oh it's a nightmare and then downtown adbo may actually have a real traffic jam you're right as opposed to these phony traffic jams that everybody always complained about folks it's not a traffic jam oh my god well this Diddy thing's a total traffic jam good morning Miss Jackie and Diddy is a creep heard a lot of bad things about him it's getting worse though I feel like he was always a trashy human and now it's just finally getting like he had enough money to cover himself up with right yeah now who was he married to he's not married to anybody he was dating JLo he was one of JLo's people JLo that's what I was thinking of everybody everybody dated JLo I think I'm the only one who didn't Hank you were busy with Mari that's right having a beautiful family and that little little munchkin granddaughter of yours who's right not so little anymore no she's going to be 12 and next Tuesday is her birthday and she wants to come on with me and Steph next Tuesday for cute is that that she wants to hang out with us and like for her birthday wants to be on the show yep so so Mariana if you haven't met Mariana Mariana will be here next Tuesday if her mom says it's okay I would love that yeah not the first request I've had this week for wanting to be on the show I felt wanted this week really who else who else asked who else who else said I want you Stephanie well there's it's been a little firing going on around town in the radio world oh and uh you know we're in talks we're in talks with several people to come and visit us and uh I want the dirt you don't get in here without the dirt right tell me what on camera off camera I want to know tell me what really happened restructuring changes I love all the excuses that big companies have to give to fire you or even little companies in this case it's a little company right I don't want to pay you anymore right no no no no we're restructuring restructuring we're heading in a different direction yeah we're going to hire 20- year old people to do it for a third of your salary that's what's going to happen right right and the audience out there won't know any difference because we think they're dumb yeah yeah a little Insider baseball they think you're dumb speaking of baseball um when is opening day um Thursday is the first official well the first two games of the Season were already played in um South Korea when um the Dodgers played the played the Padres yeah but the official first day of um baseball is this coming Thursday how with the weather that we have right now how enjoyable is it to go and watch a baseball game fortunately the Red Sox fortunately the Red Sox are starting on the west coast so they're not going to have to deal with the crazy weather until I guess theoretically it's going theoretically it's going to be better it needs to warm up immediately Jackie says April 9th is the day that we're looking for so right I knowk you and then there show he otan what's going on with that and his interpreter please explain to me because I saw some sort of meme circulating and I was like I don't get it guess you had to be there I know nothing about sports H Sports okay here's the thing it was him next to bet right Sho otani's interpreter paid off a paid off his gambling debts with $4.5 million that he first said he got directly from show sh otan um but sh Otani has now said that I didn't pay him I don't gamble um on on baseball me one of the things that people immediately did when this first came up was well what about Pete Rose anything to do with Pete Rose just just just just shut up but but here here's what I think I know and I think you can probably agree agree with me on this here's what I think I know about people who have a lot of money they don't have any money yeah that their money is controlled by their team their accountant you know they don't sit down on Sunday night every other week with their checkbook or um their laptop and say okay honey we're gonna pay the bills right all that stuff gets paid for them so sh Otani even though he has kajillion cajillions of dollars didn't have access to $4.5 million to give his interpreter okay without he'd have to go to somebody and say I need 4.5 Milli sum of money to like just not swipe your credit card and buy dinner for a bunch of friends right and his people would say wait a minute what do you want it for yeah so I think there's a second person involved here you think there's a scandal there's a scandal I think in order for The Interpreter to get that kind of money he had to get it from somebody else on show herey on his team because shohi couldn't give it to him so do we address that the fact that he's got a gambling problem or do we not think that this is a gambling debt at all oh no no no it's a gambling debt for his it's a gambling debt for his interpreter but The Interpreter didn't as The Interpreter as he claims said he got the money from Shi he couldn't have because Shi doesn't control his money gotcha and by the way Shi has a wife now so he controls his money even less yeah he definitely does not control money then that's all you had to say so right so so for The Interpreter to end up with $4.5 million he had to go to somebody on the on Shi otani's Management Group to get the $4.5 million and they probably figured Joi has so much money he's not GNA notice that he's missing 4.5 million unfortunately he was paying The Interpreter was paying off gambling debts of a bookie who was being investigated by the local authorities and that's how this all started interesting because the interpreter's name came up and then Jo's name came up and then well I'd like people wanted to know how come Pete Rose isn't in the Hall of Fame and also I would like to let you know that um March is also gambling awareness month so I'm just throwing that out there every single chance I get as I give people scratch tickets as we tell people to get their Mega Millions as we tell people to hurry up and wait in all these betting businesses with their March bad bracket I was going to say it's it's March Madness a time when people who don't bet bet right it's gambling awareness correct I'm just letting you know it's gambling awareness I think we're aware of the gambling in Mar okay I'm just checking did you get your ticket Mega Millions over a billion oh yeah he's like ah y tonight's the drawing everybody yep why not throw your hat in the ring there have been all kinds of little winners all around Massachusetts which I think is nice right a million here a million there a million there is that just their way like prepping us for you're not going to win the big one and I keep forgetting we never win the big one here I don't win the big one and then I toss the ticket somewhere and I never and I never think and I should oh wait a minute I could have won 500 bucks yeah you could be a Millionaire right now could be a Millionaire right you could have a few thousand sitting in a drawer somewhere I could that you probably just threw away you don't know I don't know I could have given it to show H's interpreted album tomorrow I would ask you to stop on by Jersey Mike's any of their locations they have their annual day of giving where 100% of their sales so everything you buy chips soda catering everything goes to the Doug fluty Jr foundation for autism it's a fabulous charity that they've selected this year for their month of giving and uh you can make a donation at any point in time Jersey Mike is just letting you know that tomorrow is their big day of giving and uh their food is great we love their subs yep and they've been doing this for a while too this is just like some some oneoff promotion no 30 years they've been doing this probably since um they uh made it a franchise right it became more than the one store on the Jersey Shore is where this began yeah it's a good thing to do and and it's important or interesting you made the point that it's all sales it's not after expenses right it's boom yep everything essentially saying we're going to take a loss today oh 100% loss right everything you're raiding our shelves we're starting all over again after this so thank you very much Jersey miks go say hi to Lee in their hyana store she's fabulous and uh their food is good I went in there the other day when um we were shopping and taking a video of stuff inside for social media and the poor girl behind the thing was like alarmed right I was like I'm just doing it for social she's like oh okay was this before after you bought the dress and the only thing you could afford was a sub no this was before this was after we left on 10 pin okay on Thursday Cliff head trivia and I bopped over there after I had yach Club we've been moving in a shaking over here and if you think that you would like to ever host a music Bingo or a trivia uh we would love to train you please come and see us and see if this might be a nice side hustle for yourself uh we definitely have one order to vill already so uh We've automatically got a job for you plus we've got our Mash P farmers market that is coming up we've got a couple of farms on board now that's great I know we're going uh we were supposed to go farm hunting today but it's cold yeah that's a good excuse check for next week please where were you going Farm hunting um um right over the bridge there's a bunch of great ones and we just wanted to introduce ourselves we need food here we don't have a working farm in Mash p M and so we're working on finding people um to not borrow from other farmers markets but to bring new people here right and uh I was in a meeting with the Department of Agriculture and the mass Farmers Market Association this week and uh we've been finding different vendors and uh I I just really made a connection with this gentleman that does wing sauce and so he just got this trailer he's doing like grilled wings so I we're we're going to have we're going to have wing of paloa I think I'm very excited for it I mean what goes better with wigs than beard nothing nothing that is food of life right there so I think uh either that or wingstock I haven't decided what we're gonna call it this summer but stay tuned for wingstock because it's coming yep yep that'll be fun I know so it that's been super fun is to watch um food entrepreneurs really Branch their business this year with some really cool grants and other ways to reach out so that's been super fun hi Diana it was so good to see your face Nathan is touring Worcester State University today starting my evaluation and your options good for you wster is a good college town yeah it it really is Holy Cross is there my daughter entertained Holy Cross for a little bit WPI there's a whole bunch of schools in the wer area yep Kenzie almost went there yeah funds really didn't come in for us oh okay it's not cheap the faster didn't work out for you not in that respect she ended up going to Penn State so oh you know she wanted a big football team she got it she got it I guess those white out games where I mean oh they must have been a blast that's that's a magical experience in and of itself gotta be gotta be totally Mark I yeah I got your pick I deleted it I threw my phone thank you very much wa wait a minute some guy sent you a picture and you deleted it yes was it one of those pictures yes it was one of those pictures yes no don't send me DPS I'm too old for that don't give me a heart attack Mark Mark wait one of my single girlfriends used to send us all in girl group chats a group of like 10 of us the photos she would get from boys I remember last year waking up Christmas morning we're all watching our kidss open their presents and these are the photos I'm getting from my single girlfriend sending it into the group chat I was like are you kidding me the best part though some of the other girls in the group chat were circling things wrong with it I don't I miss this age I'm glad I missed this age I can't imagine how people date like this what what guys I don't understand why you think people would be women well men I don't care you would be interested in you if you send that type of picture Tiana said that's why I quit dating too many plus they're ugly mark it was Lov it was not don't send me that oh God my old eyes can't take it I'm a pred you know it's Holy Week here I know you and you oh my god really H are you serious or we I am not I am 100% serious really really buddy man go back to sleep wake up and like and like reset okay he's enjoying every moment of this speaking of set I watched a few minutes of quiet on the set last night yes so creepy really so creepy the Dan Schneider situation I was going to roll right into it and with Diddy and get all the creeps out of the way okay but you know you DPS in my inbox really brings me back here to quiet talking about creeps and Mark kind of came out so so it's waen my granddaughter's GNA be here next Tuesday yeah we're gonna get all this out get this none of this okay thank you I promise there'll be none of this talk when you're well it's light it's fluffy it's Airy okay quiet on the set is the behind the scenes of the whole Nickelodeon Fiasco uhuh where basically Dan Snider had been I don't know if you remember him from Head of the Class yes but he had written all of these shows for Disney the Amanda Bine show Drake and Josh Victorious Zoe 101 like all of these shows were his Mastermind but also in like just absolutely reprehensible Behavior with these Child Actors and also with their writers like all of it was just super gross super inappropriate and you'll never watch a Disney show like that that may me really really sad for those children yeah and you really wonder why you know why Amanda binds is the way she is right now it's awful yeah awful and it's amazing that people know it and they let them get away with it anyway 100% well apparently one of the writers the first season of The Amanda Bine show she she quit um it their hiring practices or Dan Schneider's particular hiring practice he hired two female writers for the price of one basically said you're going to be splitting a job oh and then one of the female writers found out that that's illegal for the actor's guilds and the writers so she wrote to them and basically he fired one of them because she missed a day of work and then told her for the next season season two that she would be working for 11 weeks for free and then hired another male to do another job full price full staff for nothing and then she sued so she started this process right away but you know how the wheels of Justice move like molasses so it you know a decade later finally this came out and here we are 20 years later talking about how gross it was really really difficult to watch what's up Suzanne thanks for joining us on the show this morning and some people are so desperate to get into the business yeah that they kind of you know I guess they don't say anything or they and this was a first you know what I mean this is stuff that parents didn't know you've got a child actor or a child actress and you think you're a mom doing the most amazing show business stuff but they separated the parents from the children and like the parents were you know they didn't want to rock the boat because the kids really wanted this right and the kids were making money right and so it's like one of those things where you don't know what you don't know until afterwards and you're like oh my God they you know that's how they get you is they separate you yeah and they're separate storytelling it's not until you all come together and you realize you've all been swindled yep and it's all it's awful it's really really gross I know it so and I'm like episode two before I was like I I have to shut this off I have to go to bed I can't watch this no I went to like is is it cute what is that stupid show where like the fluffy kitties just like walk around and Mew like this is where I belong in Happy Town well that's what I can't watch um Lauren or s foru i i i can't one or two or three and then it's all like it's greats on you right oh yeah I'm done I watch hurt your heart you're like you know because because she's know mer gave wonderful and and you know Chris Maloney was great when he was there and now he's back on again but still hot as ever after like one or two I'm like I can't do this because it's always you know it's it's some child it's it's like I can't I can't well speaking of child you said that um Florida just passed a a law yeah protecting the children yes Florida passed a law that you if you're under 14 you can't have access to social media because that's going to stop them what is wrong with these people always stopped it I mean they use social media in schools if you're if I if I understand how it goes if you're if you're um I don't know if you're like 15 or something you have to have permission from your parents to go on it's dumb it's just dumb it's just like I had to say it playing to the bass yeah I mean they know it's going to get Court challenged it's going to get thrown out of court I I mean that's the parents jobs fol F you can't preach you know government's going to stay out of your lives and it's all parental responsibility it's just a weird waste of time and there's so much other stuff going on in Florida Florida yeah let's talk Florida right only in dat I've been really enjoying once again one of my favorite uh if you do not follow them on social media and you've got social media and the inclination to watch where um some very interesting if 14 however we're still it's some free worlds here in Massachusetts okay thank God we live in Massachusetts oh that's just dumb stuff as I'm paying my taxes thanking the lord for that good God you're living in Massachusetts well it has to be done tax day is creeping up quickly I'm just reminding everybody that that's there yes I know do with it what you want my husband actually got mad at me and snapped at me the other day because I'm one of those people that's obviously object of motion stays in motion doing something doing something and I'll yell out to him hey babe we got to do this or hey babe I forgot about this just almost as a reminder to remind myself yep to do it later yep but he gets all like oh I know we have to do that I'm yeah he freaks and now I have to like say it quietly to myself just so I'm saying it out loud it's like my reminder moniker to say it out loud right even to no one I won't even be talking to him but he takes it as I'm talking to him and I'm not oh every Monday morning we say we have to do our taxes this week and another thing and another thing we got to do our taxes the weekly meeting we still haven't gotten there yet but we will I know I especially have to do them because we have to pay probably oh I'm sorry what's up eron thanks for joining us this morning is that cousin Aon or or the other Aon no it's handcrafted by eron she's a fabulous crocheter here in town oh okay and uh she makes some beautiful um warm thank you very much I've been using my little head scarf thing headband it's a knitted headband that is keeping my ears warm well die in the bleep in spring when it's supposed to be warm outside Hank I know well it's still march too I mean spring is too everything's too early Easter's too early it's just we used to be able to tell that not every year but generally speaking we be together together as a family it' be Easter dinner and we'd be watching them the final round of the Masters right that always seemed to be the be the tradition and every now and then it doesn't and this year the Masters is two weeks from now three weeks from now I mean so just doesn't just doesn't line up at all oh the Masters yes so many memories I have of being stationed at Fort Gordon Georgia and and we clean C up the Masters that's what our job was when we were there we were literally cleaning up people's trash they brought in the army they brought in the to clean up their trash beautiful course though beautiful course oh oh oh it is I I would love to see it I couldn't play it you know I'm nowhere near that good Augusta itself though do not recommend no it's just really yucky yeah I I went to a seminar years ago at the University of Georgia yeah University of Georgia gorgeous Athens Georgia forget it yeah isn't that supposed to be The Artsy area though I guess I don't know it was it was it was literally the million middle of nowhere yeah but that was a long time ago maybe it's maybe it's built up since then the campus of the University of Georgia was unbelievable yeah it's beautiful it is gous one of our children thought about it for a little while yeah we're getting down to the nitty-gritty here we got one left really just talk about college yep if we survive this year mhm he's going to get a football scholarship somewhere we'll see as long as he you know does the right thing kid's got straight A and is eating me out of house and home we came home Thursday after work and we were going to make an omelette kid ate 12 all a dozen eggs and an like a dozen eggs as a stack he's a football player a football player is not doing any activity this season he's gonna be really bored I know he's out he shoots his Hoops though all right we had a neighborhood thing this week where um a mom reached out to you know the Towny Pages speaking of social media uh somebody reached out to our Towny page and asked if there was a person Cody's age looking looking a hangout in the neighborhood looking for neighborhood friends her kids aren't in the school system uhuh so I thought that that was really nice so I think we're g to we're going to hook him up this week and see if uh they might want to hang out together it's really weird to ask a freshman in high school if you want to hang with the neighborhood kids but my I love that my son was like sure Mom yeah I'll check it out right boys are so different than girls yes Lily would have been like are you kidding me no weirdo and gone back to her cave boys well I'll check it out hang out yeah I may like them if I don't boys are just so different the teenage Bas of things I don't know how our high school teachers are hanging in there right now you're all off at school right now so mhm I'll have to check in on your teacher friends right now I know it's been quite a year for everyone involved April vacation is coming though what in two weeks it's so off this year with Easter being off I'm gonna say that's another thing about Easter April vacation the Masters it just doesn't well I scheduled my surgery wrong so I'm I need to get extra wisdom teeth out I've been putting the surgery off for like I don't know 4 years maybe five um and I scheduled it because I thought it was Easter weekend it was April vacation weekend turns out I'm going to have to reschedule that because not only is it not Easter weekend it's April vacation weekend and I have like 47 gigs and Ruck for hit it's not happening right I'm sure you're gonna be busy well now I'm free this weekend because I was like this was the weekend I should have schedule I'm really Bamboozled this one right I botched it right so so you just you're just staying home and just hanging on Easter yeah yeah nice quiet yep 3 days mhm I don't even want to say it out loud because someone will ask me to do something okay but it's gonna be great Good Friday on is my time yep yep yeah we're just we're just we're just staying home my mother-in-law is is is coming down Janet hasn't been down to down to the the villages in um in um in a while so it's going to be nice to have her come down we're not even going to eat till like after 4 because Logan's working and it's just going to be really lowkey we have Easter dinner at 4 P.M and such a oh oh so late well well you have to understand this as well you know you know Mari she'll say she does this because she's Italian it's only me Mari Meg Logan Mariana and my mother-in-law Janet and she has just a roast and a ham just a roast and a ham and a ham how many people six okay I like you know you know Mari you could do either the roast or the ham no it's it's a small one it's I appreciate that though Mari because I'm I'm also of that same elk like oh my god really more gotta have a taste of it right it's not a holiday unless you have two Meats right I guess I don't I just don't do the lamb because I can't they have faces that are too cute they can't do lamb Mari Mari doesn't cook lamb so I can only get lamb you when we go out um my father-in-law could cook lamb unbelievable but we didn't do lamb in my house my dad never did it either I think I don't well it's because his dad my grandfather was a cattle farmer oh in Portugal uhuh and so there was only meat that was it I bet it's probably why they all had heart conditions and short lives but it's fine my God my my my father-in-law who um owned a owned a restaurant in alabor Jos for 25 years who was born a little too soon he he could have been one of those at least local celebrity chef guys um he would they would he would make a lamb and then he would make the gravy and it was unbelievable and next year he'd come and he'd make the lamb and we'd say Mario can you make the gravy you made last year and he said I don't know how I did it he would just say to Mari what do you got he'd open the cabinets and that's what it was and what ever it was he just knew true Chef he just knew and it was UN every time it was unbelievable and he made it up Mari says but I'm not making the lasagna the meatballs or the artichokes so up up give her time those will work their way in because it seems empty Mari I'm the same as you it seems empty it doesn't seem like there's enough food I want a taste of that that tastes like the holidays and so you make it and then you have leftovers for weeks she's going to decide you know what I think I'm going to make a little decide yep and then and then she's down the road lasagna meatballs then she's going to be making her old homemade gravy and I cook you lamb I cook you lamb you don't eat meat I cook you lamb I haven't seen the new uh Big Fat Greek Wedding I'm looking forward to it rtb meat is lamb lamb is meat can't do it that's one of the best movie lines I think I've ever heard it's great that whole movie is absolutely that whole movie is fabulous it's really good the UPS kind of yeah kind of a stretch I still liked it though I love the family it's very relatable to me coming from large families yep yep yep but everybody in your business but sometimes I should just let it go you know I mean I know they make money on the on the prequels and sequels and everything else but sometimes if it's really really good just let it just let it sit there I know but now I want to go to Greece I'm lemon Ado is planning a trip so if you want to come all whoever wants to come on us lemon Ado trip a lemon Ado trip to Greece really yep we're doing it in 2026 2026 it's going to be a cruise really Mar are you listening I know we're going to cruise all the gracian islands we'll just go together for a discounted price as we go together so6 that's two years from now right the planning has already begun okay so I'll be okay I'll still be here I hope so Hank says we will go Lynn says I'm in we are going honestly one of the girls from eforall uh and I met with her last week is um a unique experiences travel consultant and I said I've always wanted to go and I would love to do a trip for our listeners like just all of us go and have a good time good food I'm like my my main things are beautiful sites I need something warm I want to go somewhere where I haven't been and the food has to be on point and so she had just done this experience and this is everything included like the travel from Cape Cod two locations to pick up whichever is closest to you your transfers your flights your hotel two days prior then the whole you know cruise and then and then the nines so I'm really really excited to do this we're in the planning already okay so I will I will get the offer out to everybody if you want to be involved in it but it's going to be so fun oh I'm sure it is right and I have a been I need to go I feel like cruising the Greek and Grecian Islands is is for me okay now you just made see we're trying to figure out what we want to do for our 35th wedding anniversary yeah and our original thought was we were going to do we have a couple of friends who did the Italy to Greece um Cruise yeah and we got a little hinky about traveling and whatever but now that we know we can get to Greece yeah in in two years um focus on Italy that take that off Italy well we're thinking about staying close we're thinking about maybe the Bahamas Bermuda there you go or I want to go back to Aruba we went on our honeymoon 35 years ago to Aruba yeah we've never been back and but there are so many other new places to go oh I know we like you know Aruba is good and you know where it is right I'm one of those people that's like all right checked it off my list right next well I'm kind of sentimental so all right you know I kind of like to go back but I can also see the other see the other side so so we might we might do I don't know we have to make a decision soon yeah you do you know because it's because it's September so we got to get we got to get you know stuff hurry up my friend stuff in stuff in place well I know a good travel girl oh it's not my decision so I'll hook Mari up with her it be all good yeah hook yeah hook Mari up I'm just gonna okay that's where we're going for anniversary you guys are busy it's spring so the market what's going on it's booming around here Market is really busy and I have a story to tell oh about a first-time home buyer and her name is G I'm G to call her Maggie Maggie got in touch with us three weeks ago she had a plan she had a budget she knew what she wanted she got pre-approved that's nice I was at the Home Inspection yesterday morning for her new house that fast huh yes if you know what you're doing if you're realistic if you have a plan you can find something that's really nice and and there's so many people out there you know kind of like it's so expensive and uh and their parents are even worse I don't know how they're going to I don't know how they're going to afford it what it's a large decision I get it just work at it and the other thing thank goodness we're doing the home inspection and she said I'm gonna bring my dad and that's usually the kiss of death because dads who are accountants all of a sudden think they're Structural Engineers her dad was her dad was so cool yeah I'd love to go play golf and have beer with her have beers with her dad I mean just a cool cool guy and she's a she's a lovely girl and and um um I wasn't surprised that that her dad was was was a cool guy but but so often that I'm bringing my dad it's like okay yeah I even said to the home inspector hey pretty nice that's a cool Dad huh and he went oh thank God you know and he started telling me a story about he had just done a home inspection and and dad came and he had a ski pole and the dad was doing this to the ceiling shut up and he and he had to tell the dad to stop look at them make sure the ceiling and the and the dad's footing holes in the ceiling oh my god oh I've got dad stories on on on home inspections said it well I get it because Massachusetts is buyer beware so it has everybody in a certain space you are nervous for that right but that's why you hire a home inspector right and if you're if you're an accountant you're not a structural engineer right that is also correct you know and and just because you read Popular Mechanics six years ago once ah my husband probably has the uh doesn't doesn't mean oh yeah well well sure see but Cliff but Cliff Cliff would know of what he speaks yeah right you know he he wouldn't take the ski pole and go like this he'd know better right you know and but H so so that's my that's my story it's doable folks it really is doable interest rates are in the sixes they're going to stay in the sixes for the next next several months so really if you're thinking about buy and selling whatever it's time it really is time nothing's going to change the only thing that's going to happen is prices are going to go up and that's our commercial for Mar senta plus today real estate there you go Tada what's going on with our sandwich pdb always love to leave in a little bit of crazy crime okay oh my goodness consider I feel like the celebrity crazy crime has got us in our feelings over here it's a little hectic but we need a good laugh we need let say sandwich police again folks if you don't follow the sandwich police on on Facebook you should um they they it gives you a sense of some of the crap that the cops put up with um and some of the crazy things that they have to deal with um so for example um let's see an individual called to report a large floating dock in the middle of a roadway making it completely impassible responding officers found that the dock was not in fact floating but sitting on the ground the road was easily passable which is a good thing because a floating dock is easy to move but one sitting on the ground is not okay okay um was it all that rain that we had I I it must be must be um kind of like whatever crazy sandbags are going on in my neighborhood oh yeah I I I saw the sandbags by the way they're not stopping anything the field is still flooded down there and now the road is a mess someone someone called 911 to report that a Charles toy in inflatable and and we filled with water bottle where next to the U water bubble in town hall Town Hall square like there was a missing child the water bottle was there they called they called yeah 911 and it's like okay there's an empty water bottle there's an empty water BT sign you know it's you know that's someone who watches this too much St line that's right right right also if you see something you got to say something there is there really is a situation where we're in a space where if you don't say anything and someone's child was abducted and you saw the water bottle you're like what a jerk you are right right then but then if it's just a stupid water bottle that somebody found on the ground and put it by the water thing so maybe someone might collect it there right right and one child's toy so it just as could just as easily could have been it's an abduction just as easily could have been the kid was was with their parents and they left their water bottle behind in their and their toy kind of like the two forks I found in my driveway yesterday the two what Forks f o r k s yep why were there to Forks can't ever find any silverware in my house can't find silverware can't find they're in the driveway I think my son throws them away because why else would they be in the driveway they must have fallen out of a trash bag this is the only thing I can think of or maybe he was snacking in the in the driveway while playing basketball and just left the fork there either way found two forks in my driveway yesterday the mystery continues should I call 911 Hank I I don't I don't know two forks there could be two people where are they where are they where did they go were they abducted did A Space Alien and come down and go so obnoxious I'm so annoyed oh and they're too big for that crap did you ask him about it oh it wasn't me it's no it's it's always the elves the mystery elves in my house elves uhhuh oh that's too funny it's never anybody that's too funny nobody does everything in my house don't you know you know you know there I saw I saw a basketball in your yard might be a missing kid and and why yeah could be got to call 911 HCK could I call 911 don't do a basketb 911 there's a basketball in Stephanie via's yard unless there is a mystery don't call it no emergencies please yes please I know the poor cops have enough to do there were so many things on this on this blog where they're asked to get involved in Crisis Intervention or to to um do checks on people who aren't responding to phone calls look if somebody even if you don't like the family member if they keep calling you just answer the phone and say I don't want to talk to you and hang up because many times they're going to end up calling the police and the police are going to come over to your house and knock on the door and you're going to say what somebody's trying to call you you're going to say I'm fine and it's just pretty soon we'll just have chips that can be scanned they're fine they're breathing they're alive all their vitals are there bye-bye right did you see we'll get there I know I know we're running out of time did you see that that um uh somebody who had um a chip installed in his brain because he's he's you know he's he's paralyzed and everything he was able to post on X no and X thought and X originally thought he was a bot really but he's a real person the chip is in his is in his brain honest
